Hey y'all, i'm bringing y'all along with me today to go, get some micro links, i'm about to get um 16 and 18 inch micro length. This is my second time having micro links but um. I have mixed feelings about them. The first time i had them. They were okay, i kind of got kind of flat on in my hair because i did choose like a bohemian type of hair, so it kept like um, reverting because humidity this time, i'm getting indian hair um we'll see because i'm super natural. I don't know if you guys can tell from my little cup ball back here. I'M a 4c so to maintain micro links is going to be kind of hard because my hair is super. Super super tight, but the good thing about it is um. It is winter. So it's not hot outside, so i shouldn't experience that much humidity, so we'll see how long i'll keep these in and how i like them, i'm kind of nervous because i'm going to another hairstylist i've been with the same hairstylist for like 10 years now - and this Is my very first time going to someone else so we'll see and i'm kind of freaking tenderheaded so and my stylist knows it but i'll? Let him know since i get there and i'm kind of tempted, so yeah i'll see you guys when i get to the salon. Okay, guys, i'm back and it's hours later, i didn't record episode um, but this is how my hair turned out. These are micro link, extensions and i do have um 4c hair um. With these extensions. Let me prop you guys up, so you can see wrap you guys up right here. Okay, so, okay, with these extensions, they are it's a like a braidless sewing. There are no braids in my hair whatsoever. My extensions are linked in by something called like a little micro link. It'S like a little circle b, um, it's very versatile! That'S what i really like about it and i like the fact that it looks natural. It doesn't look like bulky or humpy or anything because of the braids, and also i like the fact that you can change the part. So let me try to change the part for you guys, so you can see so this. What changing apart will look like. It looks pretty flat um. I can go from the middle to the side and see that's still, my it's no closure. It'S all my leave out. My hair is in between these micro lengths. My own natural hair is maybe about like 10 inches and i decided to go with a 16 18, not something that's like super super long and also he did it where you can party in three different ways. So it's like a three part micro link in installation. So i can part it on this side too. I have a side part over here and when i do that anytime, you do change the part. The only thing about it is like you're going to have to style it so that it looks okay. On that one side, um, just like a wig like when you're trying to change the part, you have to kind of style around it so at least flat, but it isn't bulky or anything, try not to lean down too much. Let me bake you guys up some more okay and the best part about these micro links, like my favorite part about them, is that you can literally put your hair up into a seamless ponytail. You can't see any tracks and it's still going to look really really great. That'S one thing: you really cannot do with sewings um. You can't do those with wigs if you uh, don't have like a full lace wig. So with that being said, let me try not try. Let me pull it up and i'll show you show you how it looks so i hope you guys can see inside the frame my hair is in a pony. You can put it up in like a button. If you wanted to, you can combine it, you know, make it look extra extra, cute and neat, but right now for the purpose of the video i'm just like throwing it up there, so you guys can see, but this is not like the neatest. I can do it also. Another style that you could do with these links in is that you can do a half up head down, which i think is really nice, because sometimes you don't feel like curling, your hair in the front. Well, you just want your hair pulled back off your face, and so i could do a half a pant down which still looks pretty cute and it looks flat. It looks natural, like you, can't see any of my tricks, it's really nice. So if i had the rate micro lengths on the scale of 1 to 10 on the first day, i would say definitely a 10, but because i'm 4c we're going to have to wait and see how long they. Last before my hair reverts, he did treat my hair and i did sit under a steamer. He said. Typically, people come back between like three to four weeks for titan for maintenance, we'll see because i don't have resistant hair, but my hair does tend to act. Kind of crazy, like it has amount of its own, it does revert back. Sometimes it just stays straight. I don't know what's going on my hair, but it really have a mind of its own, but that's my thoughts. I will come back with like a maybe let's do like a one week update to see if i still like them to see if they still operate in the way i want to, if anything, slipped out. If anything reverted, he did mention, though, that you cannot sleep in a bonnet, because the bonnet will like trap the heat, so i'm trying to figure out the best way to wrap my hair with the silk scarf so that i still have curls in on it. So i will update you guys in, like one week see you hey y'all, welcome back to my channel. This is my two week update with my micro links on 4c hair. I'M going to show you guys how my hair looks right now. I have it up in a pony, as you can see two weeks ago, i got it done. I'Ve only had to touch up my edges with a flat on maybe like twice other than that i haven't put any of the heat to my hair um. The curls have dropped because i did fall asleep on my head, like twice already but like without wrapping wrapping my hair and going to sleep. That'S why the curls are gone and also it's raining and snowing here. But this is my two week update and this is how they look. It looks kind of crazy when i take it out the ponytail go ahead and brush it pretty. So this is how my micro links look after two weeks. I don't know if you can see it it's a two week marker link update 4c hair, but, as you can see, even though i have 4c hair, my hair is still fine, so like by fine. I mean that i don't have a lot of strands of hair on my head, so if you can see, like my part, looks kind of wide, i can still part my hair from either side oops. This is the side. I originally got my hair styled on. That'S. I really still do love these micro links. I just feel like i don't ever want to go back to a traditional sewing, because this is just i mean not to say it's lighter, but it just feels better on my head that i can touch all my hair. I can all my whole scalp if i needed to um. I really love this hair. I really honestly go out there and also another style i've been wearing. If i wasn't wearing my hair down or in one pony, i was doing a hip up head there, which is so freaking cute, which was in my latest video um. But my stylist recommends that i come back for like a four week: maintenance which will be wash um, of course, blow dry, my hair back out flat on it out, and i think they tighten some of the micro lengths. So far. I don't feel like any of them are loose um, because this is my second time paper micro lengths before i could definitely tell that some of my links were loose but they're not loose at all. They still feel intact. It'S not pulling on my hair. It'S not making me feel any tension in the root and that's what the thing i was most afraid of, because since i do have really really fine hair um, i was afraid that it would like create some tension at the scalp, but i love it. This is still my favorite install right now, besides my wigs. Yes, so yes thank you shane for the beautiful hair. Thank you so much. I love this hair. I call this the wifey hair, because it just gives me like i should be in the kitchen making dinner making snacks making brunch. It just gives me wifey, and i love it so much so yeah. One thing i do recommend, though, with micro links i feel like when i fell asleep a couple of times with my micro links in a ponytail when i took it down, it was kind of hard to um make the micro lengths go back in the correct direction. So that would be my only con can't really sleep within a ponytail. Oh, i love this air. I swear. I do anyway thanks for watching come back to my channel next time and it's on pretty poor
