Microlink Extensions On Natural Hair | Install & Tutorial | Grace Gillespie

So let's get started so this is before and then i'm gon na show you an after hey angels, welcome back to my channel. I wanted to get on here and share with you something that i'm going to be doing, and it is micro, bead, hair extensions. So if you haven't heard of it, they are extensions that have um the actual micro beads in them already, because i know that you can just do the eye tips, but i picked the ones up that actually had the micro beads on there. Hopefully it goes well because this is the first time i'm actually trying this out so wish me luck, everything that i will be using. I have linked in the description box below and if you have any questions just comment, let me know - and i will answer your questions as best as i can so, if without further ado, let's go ahead and get started, i'm going to show you what i picked Up and the process and how i'm going to get this going, but um okay. So the first thing is: you need hair, so i picked up these on amazon right here. These are the more so hair extensions. They are a hundred percent human hair and i think these yeah here is the little bar code right there and this one i picked up in the color. If i'm not mistaken, it's jet black. So i did pick up two of the packages. I'M hoping it's gon na be enough. I got these in the 20 inch extension and let me show you what they look like. This is the actual package it came in and i think there's 50 micro beads in each pack. So, let's show you guys so here it is here, but here are the micro beads. They are all bundled and you get 50 per um pack that you get so i picked up two packs okay. So yes, this hair is so pretty. I'M so excited you guys. Um, i did pick up two packs. Like i said: um, i'm hoping it's gon na be enough. Hair um, my hair is not super thick or anything and it's it's kind of thin. So i don't want it to be super heavy. So, like i said, i picked up two packs of the hair pliers, which is right here right now. My hair is two days old. I haven't washed it, but this is how it's going right here um. So my hair is about right here. It was about down here, but i tried like i said: i tried about three inches off of it, just because it was so dead on the ends, and i didn't want to damage it anymore, go ahead and make it all one color. So i did pick up a hair dye box. This one is the kristen s hair. I love her brand, so i picked this one up and this one is in the color black iris, hey guys, so i went ahead and dyed my hair. I know the last thing i will show you was the signature gloss, which was not the hair dye, but i went ahead and dyed my hair. So i brought you guys and set it up in my bathroom, because i think that i have the best lighting in my bathroom, so i have a mirror behind me, so i can see um how i'm gon na do this. Okay and then i have my mirror right here that i'm gon na be hopefully i can see - maybe better if i do this now, but i'll show you guys how to um how i'm gon na do it. But let me turn the camera around and show you guys my setup, which it's really not a setup but whatever okay. So here is my countertop. I have the bead hair extensions and then i have my pick comb a couple of hair clips and then i'm going to be using the pliers i'm going to go ahead and turn the camera around and let's get started. So let's get started so this is before and then i'm gon na show you and after let's go ahead and get started, i'm gon na go ahead and first part the back okay guys, i'm back. I um did a little research. I could not find any like photo, or you know anything to show me the different placements, like how many sections and stuff like that. So i kind of did up my own right here um. So i'm assuming i'm gon na do four. So i'm gon na start down here so that'll be my first row. Second row third row. Fourth row: this is the middle of my head and right here i plan on skipping at least an inch and then doing another row up here. If i have enough and then here is the side i figured, i can do three on each side, i'm not sure, maybe like three or four on each row and remember, you always have to leave an inch all around your hairline, because you, if you were going To um put it put your hair up, you want to at least have an inch like. So so, if you start here, you will be able to put your hair up without seeing any of the beads okay. So first i'm gon na go ahead and i turned this off and i'm just straightening the hair before i start here is one piece of the um bead hair extensions. So it's pretty thick. So let's go ahead and, like i said, i'm gon na start with the bottom, the very bottom um and then we'll do the sides for last so you're just going to and remember, you have to leave at least an inch from your hairline um and then pull This bigger piece out so it pulls your hair through and once that's on, you're going to push the bead up, but you're going to leave enough space to where you can go up and down like if you're going to put your hair up in a ponytail and You'Re just going to get your clampers whatever they're called okay, so that's the first one. Can you even see it there? It is there's the first one next to it. You'Re just going to. I feel like it's such a thin section: yeah, okay, so you're gon na get the hair. Put your two fingers through the little wire string, pull your hair through oops! Then you're going to hold the bead and then it's going to pull your hair straight through, like that and you're going to pull the bead up. But then you're going to wiggle. It make sure you have you don't want to put it too close to the edge, because if you lift up it could pop or break your hair you're, going to give it a little bit of space and you're going to get your pliers and just press down. Like so, i have two in right now: let's see what it looks like, okay, i'm sure it'll get easier as i do it. So, okay, so that's two and then i'm gon na go ahead and do the next one, my mom! Oh you do the same thing. Um the best of times, so that's three to say: i wouldn't change what happened. My camera died or something, but i have the first section in it's not as perfect, but it's starting to look pretty good. Um, like i said, see it's already blending with my hair, because it's so thin and the more i add layers the more it'll come together. I guess so i'm just going to go ahead and add oops. Let me take all these clips out. Another layer which is going to be layer, two, the second um, so okay. So now i have the next layer to shade every little now and then, oh, my god, i finished the second row um. Let me show you what it looks like it's not perfect, but i feel like it's better than the first one and the reason why is because i wasn't um, i wasn't really um looking at it. I was just feeling like when i would put one bead in. I would literally go right next to it and grab a little piece of hair and i feel, like i was doing the first row a little bit too. I was using too much hair, so i kind of thinned it out a little bit and would use just a little bit so when you're grabbing a piece like i'm just going to use this right here, you want to grab at least like this much like nothing. Thicker than that, because you want that silicone bead to really uh hold on to that piece and you don't want it super thin because then it could fall out. So that is the second row. So now i'm gon na start, i'm gon na go ahead and start the next row. I haven't even um and it gets super easy. The more you do, okay. So that is that i think it looks really good so far um. So let me go ahead and pull it down and then i will do another. I put down um the third i feel like i went a little bit too high. I just cannot get it even. I feel like that's gon na, be the death of me, but it should be okay right i mean i just cannot get this straight for the life of me. I don't know if it's 50 pieces of hair in my hair. So far i don't know if you can see that it's pretty. I mean it's a good, you know, and it's so lightweight you guys, i'm obsessed with this hair. I can't even deal and it doesn't look. It honestly looks pretty decent right now, it's pretty pretty good. It doesn't look too thin or anything, and this is only 50. once i put 100, i think it's gon na look pretty good the past two times. Okay, so you guys it's been almost an hour and a half and i've got through half of the extensions already. I have about 45 from the new pack left that i'm going to put on so yeah. I'M excited, i'm gon na go ahead and keep going. I was wrong to say every little now and then let's see because if not, i can't wear it straight, because it looks like it's too bulky up here. So let's and my hair is so thin here, so i think i'm gon na start like right here. Every little now and to then my smile, hey guys, so i am almost done. I think this blended out very well um here is the hair um i'm about to do the sides now my battery's, about to die. So i'm gon na go ahead and change that out first and then i'll be back okay guys. So i put a new battery in so here we go okay, so i'm just gon na go ahead and do the sides now so um is pick this piece up. So see i have a set right here, um, so i'm gon na just let me see, i think, i'm gon na add a few like up here. Just because let me get a clip and remember you want to keep that one inch. My hair is so thin up here, though, if i do that, then i won't really have much hair. I mean an area to like put the actual extension. So let me see okay, i can add a few here, so let's do that now the best of times but every little now and then it creeps guys. I feel like i need more, but i don't want more. You know what i mean so here is: maybe it'll get thicker when i wash it the first time we'll see. So i have about five more pieces. Okay, so i'm done. Finally, that's my son's hand right here, i'm so i'm gon na go ahead and curl it and let you guys know what it looks like afterwards little now and then is a hundred strands and i think they're, like 50 grams, like i said, i'm gon na go Ahead and link them in the description box below here it is right here, it's not too heavy um. I didn't curl them the way i wanted to, but i have so much. I have to do right now, um, but that's it you guys. Let me know what you guys think um. I know once you wash them they're to get a little bit thicker which i'm excited about, but that's it um. The color matches very well. So there's my hair and then here is the extension. So perfect um.
