Lots of love!

So tomorrow I'm having new individual hair extensions put in and I'm just taking them out, and I just thought: let's quickly make video quick video to show you how I take them out at home myself. This could save you a lot of money and a lot. A lot of people go and pay to have them taken out, and then they pay again to have them re -- put in again and or they just have pay and have them taken out and have a little rest for a while, but either way they're paying To have parrots then, just like that, and you can actually do it yourself at home now I haven't touched this side yet, but I have started taking this side and I thought let me quickly show you how, in its excuse my greasy hair, I figured it's better To wash my hair afterwards than before, and so this is what I do all you need is a pair of pliers. Now you can get at proper extension pliers, so you might want to get these. So these are the individual extensions, I'm taking that little micro, bead and and yes, so you can get pliers that have these ones aren't them. I, with a little like hole in the middle gap for you to put the extension bead in now. Those are the proper ones that take the extensions that if you haven't, got them and you're at home, and you want to do it yourself and you can easily just grab your own pair of pliers just make sure this is a really really big. This is the most important thing make sure they're, not the pliers of the blade against that down the side, because, if you're going to try and take them out of that, you'll end up chopping, your hair off. So it must be just a flat, a flat pliers, either a pointy one like this. It'S fine as long as it's not too sharp and or a wider a wider plier, and but yes, that's what you need tries not with blade now we'll, try and show you. My greasy locks, so you can see I've already taken out loads longer before I've been to the gym and I've sweated in it today, so definitely to hair wash that's what you do. If you separate the hair, I find it really really really really useful to separate the hair so find out the ones that you want to take out, make sure they're nice and exposed clip at the way the rest of the hizzle a clip at the way. The rest of the hair like that go and now it's up to you how long you leave your hair before you take them out. I leave mine, I'd, say two and a half months. They I think they tend to advise three months. It depends how quickly your hair grows depends. How well they've been put in. It depends how well you look after them and how well they're lasting in your hair. Now I look after my pretty well, but I like the nice and tight to the top of the head or close to the root of the head, and I don't like the way they grow out so yeah, it's not any real, missing and and yeah. So I do too, I do change wine every kind of two months. All you need to do grab the extension in your hand, now a bead the way it's worth the wait wait, so they put the microd on they squish it down. So the camp it. So it's circle, squish down like that and and the hairs in the middle, is a circle and then they clamp it down like that. It squishes the bead. So what you're trying to do is push the bead the sides of the beads to make it a circle. Again and squish and then slide it off. That is what we're hoping today now I'm going to try and do it without a mirror, and I usually sit in front of a mirror and do it myself. It'S not a quick process. So let me tell you you can take a few hours this. Is it comfortably and hold it flat against your thumb like this and then you're squishing, as I say, you're squishing it the other way. Please just do it gently, don't do it too much, because you don't want to flatten it in the opposite direction. You just want to loosen the grip of the bead ever so slightly. You can get someone to do it, for you, get your friends or you mum to help you out the first time. If you need better as a site, you can do it yourself, don't need to go to a professional and it could save you a lot of money. Now what you can do so I've just started to loosen that bead there and then you can either slide the bead down on its own or what I prefer to is one day now I try and slide the whole extension, including the bead down. Don'T I'm not pulling I'm literally just letting it slide gently down hex I'm trying to keep my hair in its best condition, as I want the idea for me to have extensions. E-List, have nice big long for hair, but also to look after my hair underneath and let it grow, and so I'm I'm huge on looking after my hair as much as I kind of losing is less if you can, and so what you do. Is you just guide the bead down the extension down like that? Take your time and then you can end up removing very, very slowly the whole extension now what will happen if you can say so? I know how closely you can see. I can't work up, so you might have a couple of strands of hair from here that ends up not all sliding down, so it comes out the top or a couple of your natural hairs. People say: do you lose all your natural hair with those extensions in so you've got all of this? It'S just slid or not off alert my hair's, fine, absolutely fine, the piece that it was attached to it's there. It'S not coming out, don't talk about too much, but you can see it's absolutely fine and but you might have a couple of loose hairs here now. Some of them, as I say, are the extensions some of them one or two of them, if any cuz. Sometimes I don't get any coming out country, okay, so this one isn't so bad, but you might have a couple of hairs of your natural hair. Now, usually, it's just the dead hair that would have fallen out ordinarily in everyday life, but it's just attached to the hair extension. But if you're taking your hair out and your extension ax store, they've put extensions in and you're losing all of your natural hair. Those are not the extensions to have done at all. You need to be super careful, look after her and take them out carefully as well. I'M showing you a guide of how to do it at home yourself if, for any reason, you're losing your own head. Don'T do it and I'm showing you that clearly, you don't lose any of your own hair if you do it properly and so I've taken out quite a few already today, here's some others and I'm saving the reason why I try and keep the beige know how. I just showed you guiding it down keeping the bead on the extension there's a couple of ways: you can do it and, and sometimes you can't help the way it tends to come out, but you can save the bead on the extension or save the bead and Put it onto the extensions again afterwards and that's great because you can reuse a lot of your hair. This hair is in perfect condition, and so I can definitely put this one back in now. I am having fresh hair tomorrow, just so happens, but I can keep all of this hair again for another time now you might be left with a little bit of the bonding stuff in your hair. I am here on this one and in fact quite a few that I'm taking out today. I'Ve got some of the the bond and stuff on just carefully. I mean when you wash your hair, you you're washed out anyway and brushes I like to use. I love a tangle, teezer love, tangle teezer. This doesn't hurt at all, and it's really gentle on the hair. You don't lose your hairs, it isn't it's not brush that rips out hair at all, so there we go. That is how you take out your individual hair extensions, I'm going to continue, and I'm going to show you at the end that I have hair and I've not lost it, and trust me if this was and if this was something that didn't work. All that I lost any of mine actually have - or I would never be having extensions and I've been having extensions for that whole of my adult life. I'Ve tried all sorts different extensions as well. This is what I'm going to in the man I'm trying these individual microbeads and they work for me and I can take them out myself and then I can go back and haven't put back in again. Have nice, big, hair, again fresh air tomorrow. I just wanted to show you you can do it yourself at home to try another one so holding it flush like that and your thumb, finding the bead either side, it's quite difficult without a mirror, just squeeze it when you squeeze make sure you squeeze really gently You'Re, just squeezing enough to loosen the bead in the opposite direction, and it's already clamped once it's looser. You pull gently on the extension, not in your own hair, like that. You can use the other hand just to help to slide it up like that. Keep it nice and smooth the hair. Nice is me, I smooth it out like this, whilst I'm doing it just because, as you pull it down, you might end up double backing the hair back through the loop again and you end up in a bit of tangle. It'S just like this there's another one completely off and the bead still on it. Can you say nice close up. There'S me they're down for you and look none of my hair's falling out. It'S all still attached to my head just break away that last little bit as I say, you can just wash out that stuff, the rest of the whatever they used keratin or whether they use into the bun, and they don't actually put this stuff into your hair. But over time, if you're, someone like me, you straighten your hair and you blow-dry your hair you're, going to get residue of the actual bonding solution into on your on your hair. It'S going to touch your hair and as you're taking the extensions out, you might have little bits of it left in it, and but it's not going to damage your hair in any way. What so ever it just might be, and you might just have a little bit left in there now. That'S the staff that was around so before the bead was on they bond the hair together, and then they put the hair the bit their extension. Next to your hair, and then they add the bead on and that's what taps it. So it's the stuff that was told in the hair together and it is left in your hair a little bit as a thang itself. Tangle teezer be fine. So here we go. This is the part of my hair. That'S already out my hands quite long. I just have extensions, but about this much difference see now I have the already begun taking out quite a few of them, so folks, I'm going to continue. I'Ve got long hair at the moment, but in a few hours time it'll be quite a bit shorter. It does take a while be patient and take care of your hair and, as I say, if you're losing any of your natural hair, stop it's not the way cc hi, just a quick halfway update and it's actually not taking me long till now. I'M kind of whizzing through it, you get an e in there, the kind of flow of taking them out and it becomes quicker, and so yes, I just wanted to show you half way update. So this sides all done and all out and this side is still in I'm just going to show you the difference. So my normal hair hair extensions - you can see quite a bit longer with the extensions in and and a bit thicker as well, which is why I like to have them in. But my my natural hair is absolutely fine and so I'm going to carry on and then I shall show you the finished results shortly. There we go all my hair is now out. This is my natural hair, completely natural hair and didn't take me that long as I said, I have done it a few times and so I've got used to how to do it, and I am a little bit more speedy than perhaps I was at the beginning And perhaps you might be, if you're, trying to take out your extensions for yourself after the very first time and here's all the hair, so now I've taken them out carefully. I'Ve kept the beads on the extensions. I think there's a couple there's a couple like this, not many just as a few and that haven't got the bead on the top. I'Ve kept them in good condition, the rest of them here. So, even if I don't use those ones, a lot plenty of hair to reuse here and lots and lots and lots at to use, get the beads on the top. As I mentioned earlier on, I can take those to an extension as' and have them put back in again, as I say, they won't use those beads they'll use fresh beads next time, but they're there to help them. I have the extensions they together. It'S did a little bit of the keratin ready, Jack and fill in my hair, but that will come out when I wash it tomorrow morning. Ready to have my extensions put back in again that I, as you can see, do have quite long hair. But I use the extensions for a little bit more volume and a tiny bit more length as well. I usually have them to at least around about here and but I just wanted to show you that you can take them out yourself and how extensions don't ruin your hair. If you have a good exceptions, I need to be put in well and be you look after them and see you take them out properly as well so yeah in whilst I've been I'm asked to take them out all needs to be taken care of what I Wanted to show you that is possible, so tonight yourself at home, and it doesn't cost you a penny, so you can save quite a bit money doing it like that. Don'T forget to like the video if you liked it of course subscribe to the channel and get in touch. I'Ve got anything you'd like me to chat about any questions about the hair about taking out extensions. You got any ideas for videos that I can that I can do for you, of course, and I shall see you soon.

Kelly Goodlad: I started taking out a couple of my extensions gently using pliers and THEN I looked it up on YouTube and found this video which gave me the confidence that I was doing it right and I could keep going! For anyone out there who sees that their roots are highly matted upon taking them out - this is how it was for me. I was so freaked out. But I rubbed in coconut oil and gently combed and the worst looking mats came out in a minute or two and my hair was fine! So even if it looks bad, don't panic, try what I did!

Lilly Shield: Did anyone have them removed by a hairdresser? I had mine taken out and there were a lot of knots.
