[ Applause, ] welcome, my name is habiba, and how did i get my hair to grow so long? Well, as if you didn't know, we have an unboxing. First of all, i love a good unboxing sit back and relax. This is going to be a fun chatty. Hair related video - i haven't done one of these in a while. It is something from her given hair and if you know anything about her given hair, you know they have an amazing product. They have such an attention to quality and i love their packaging and just the whole presentation so awesome. So what's in the box, what's in the box? Okay, first of all, we have this beautiful matte black box with the gold letters her given hair on the top of the box, and the box is held closed by the black ribbon. Do you see the black ribbon? It has their logo on it. This box would make an amazing or awesome thoughtful gift, as you saw, they have their logo underneath the box with their contact, information and social media and, let's open the box, let's open the box. Okay, we have some beautiful black tissue and there's a sticker with their logo. Okay. Now, honestly, this would make such a great thoughtful gift, a gift for yourself or a gift for a friend, maybe someone who is suffering from alopecia or maybe someone who's gone through some sort of medical condition, or maybe a gift for yourself, because hello, the holidays, are Here and who has time to do their hair anyway, this product that i'm opening is called crowned in my curls? Okay, it's the coily unit 3c4a and in the box there is this satin or silky black drawstring bag, where you can put your hair or save your hair for later or you could actually use it while traveling, i could see putting some hair tools in there. There'S also some extra hair grips or hair combs that you can put in your wig. If you want all right here, she is here. She is okay. First thing: there's a protective netting over the hair and you can see there is this beautiful, generous amount of lace, and this is invisible lace, just look at it. When i press it on my arm, you can barely see the lace right and just look at that parting. Okay, let's look at the inside. There is an adjustable band. Okay, and this is very easy to use. You can choose to use this band if you want, or you don't have to. Okay, there is lace on the back of the wig. You know around the neck nape area, which you will need to cut off, there's also adjustable bands on either side and yeah. That opens also very easily you can make the wig tighter or you can make it. You know larger to fit your head, make sure you pick the right size when you order. There are combs on either side, so there's a total of three combs one on either side of the head and one in the nape or back of the head. Okay, and you can see again the texture of the hair and we're gon na get into that. Okay, i look a hot mess. I know i know, but it's the holiday season we're getting ready to entertain we're getting ready to host. Well, some of us maybe, and i'm just saying you know you might be doing that you might be making pancakes. You might be. You know making cakes baking. Rum, cakes like i do that's what i do. I don't know what you do, but i don't have time to straighten my hair or flat iron, my hair, who got time for that. No, and i don't have time to go gelling. My hair slicking it back and doing all that that's just too extra right now, but let me see, let me show you i'm going to twist up my hair or kind of braid it flatten it. Ideally you want to braid your hair. You know you want your hair flat flat flat for the wig, but what i'm trying to show you is that with big hair, if you can just get it neat and pulled back you'll be okay, all right, you'll be okay. So i have my stocking cap on and i'm not going to glue this wig down. No, i'm literally just going to put it on this is the wig straight out of the box. Okay, it still has the lace on it. As you can see, lace is still on. I'M just trying to show you what it looks like straight out of the box, not bad huh, not bad. Now this is what the product looks like online, so i am wearing 16 inches and the model is wearing 14 inches. You can wear it like a middle part or a side part it's up to you so again. This is before it is styled, and i just want to give you a close-up. Just look at that invisible lace. Look at that super natural hairline! Look at it. I really want you to see and appreciate how natural it looks. Okay, do you see my hand? There is lace on it that is the lace that they use check this out, i'm gon na wet it and it looks even more invisible. Look at that. Can you see, can you tell that? There'S lace. On my hand, that is the swiss transparent lace and that's what they're using in the wig. So isn't that amazing, i think that's pretty cool anyway, it is pre-plucked, it is pre-bleached. You don't have to do any of the work. It looks supernatural. It'S virgin human hair. The wig is constructed in a way you can part it in the middle. You can part it on the side. It'S up to you. The lace extends quite a bit and we'll take a closer look at the inside of the wig in a minute. Okay, so you can see there is this large area in front that spans across the hairline and then there's that horseshoe area of lace, the back of the head, are tracks after rinsing the hair and a pre-poo look how juicy the curls are but girl. I got to tell you about the black friday sale coming up november 16th. Through the 29th. You could get up to 90 off what you need to take advantage of it. You know they can be pricey at times, but it's amazing quality and you deserve it. You deserve it, so i'm just cutting off a few straggly ends very minimum and very minimum shedding and then we're going to do a nice twist out, because you know i like doing the most [ Laughter ]. So you honestly could put this wig on straight out of the box, but if you want to go the extra mile, why not wear a braid out or twist out actually did i say braid out earlier, i'm doing a twist out. So that's what we're going to do! I'M combing out small sections at a time and then i'm going to apply some twisting jam or twisting cream generously to the hair and we're going to rake it in and then brush it and then go ahead. And just twist twist twist and then let the hair sit until it dries now. I actually did this and put the hair away, or you know, left the wig for about a day and then came back and i had some nice hair to wear. But, honestly again you can wear this straight out of the box. If you choose, all you got to do is make those curls pop by spraying a little water on it, and your hair will look amazing. I just love the fact that this hair blends in so well with my natural natural hair. So you really don't have to worry about edges or gel or baby hair with this hair, it literally just blends in and if you don't even have hair you could, just you know, glue this to your hairline and it would look super natural too, because you saw The hairline, it looks amazing, okay, so this is the next day and uh look at our hair nicely set. So i'm just cutting off the lace, because i know that i'm not going to glue the head. You know the wig on, but if you're going to glue it on, you know to your forehead, then i wouldn't cut off the lace until after you've applied the wig. So i just adjust the comb in the back and then i'm kind of pulling the wig on, and you got to be careful not to tear the lace. Of course, i really like how natural this wig looks once you really get it together and how natural the hairline looks. My challenge is that, even though the hairline looks amazing, my hairline natural hairline is super low, so i always feel like, instead of gluing the wig in front of my hairline, i need to wear it behind my hairline. That'S just my option and i'm cutting out the lace which can be you know that could be tricky because you could cut your own hair, so i took off the wig and cut off the lace before reapplying it. So look how amazing this looks seriously. Just look how amazing that looks without the lace in front. I had to put my finger there just to show you how flawless it looks. So i'm just adding an extra hair grip for extra security on the sides because again i'm not gluing the wig down, and i want to make sure that the lace is flat. So now i'm pulling out a few strands of hair from the wig which has built-in baby hairs, but also a few strands of my own hair and once they get together, you cannot tell the difference. You cannot see where my hair starts or where this wig begins. You really can't right, it's just amazing. I was really feeling it just look at that it looks so natural so anyway, now i'm kind of cutting a few of the strands. Just be careful. I know the difference between my hair and you know the wig so be careful when you're doing that, and now i'm just adding a little bit of edge control and i'm not really that great with the whole baby hair. Personally, i just want it to look natural. I don't want it too stylized and yeah. I did my best. I did my best [ Laughter ], but you really don't even have to do this step when you're dealing with natural hair, so i'm just going to tie it down a little bit. So i've tried many different hair brands before i've tried many different wigs before and i honestly have to say when it comes to natural, looking hair natural feeling, natural texture, hair given hair is definitely on top. So you definitely need to try this brand. If you want to take a break from your own natural hair or you just want to try something new, so i like adding a little concealer between the demarcation of the lace and my forehead, i bring it down a little. It just makes a natural part all right, so, let's see a few ways. We can style this hair. I have some ankara fabric, which is actually from her given hair, i'm pulling the twist to the front a few of them, so yeah we're not going to take the twist out quite yet we can turn it into a style. So, let's tie this head scarf and see how she turns out. Also, i wanted to mention that her given hair launched a sub brand called wings by her given hair, it's an affordable brand, so you want to check that out too. Just in case, you know, you feel like some of the wigs are out of your budget. You might find something a little bit more affordable all right, so i'm tying the scarf and even right now it really looks natural right. Just look at those juicy twists in front what sometimes you might have to play with the scarf a little bit i like to fan it out. You know get it to my liking kind of like that and yeah. I think that is a look. Don'T you think? Look at the back, i'm telling you nobody would tell me that's not my hair. In fact, you know what my husband saw me and he was like. Oh, your hair looks nice and i'm like yeah. I know, isn't she cute anyway? This is another twist out on a different unit. That'S some reddish brown hair, but i really really like how this looks. I had to take a selfie. What okay, let's see what it looks like with a headband so for those that are curious, the hairs on the wig or the hairs on the lace are secured, using both single and double knots, and apparently a full lace. Wig can take up to 40 days. Can you believe that, oh my goodness, so that's why i guess the wigs are pretty pricey but anyway, this is what the twist out looks like very defined twist out in the front here i am taking out all the twists. I'Ve decided to take off. You know the headband and just wear the hair loose and just look at that definition. Really natural looking and here's a tip, i'm adding a little black eyeshadow to where again the demarcation between my hair and the wig. So anywhere that looks sort of spotty. You can definitely fill it up. You can also make your hair bigger. So that's what i've done here made my hair super big voluminous. Is that the word voluminous, [, Laughter, ] and yeah love? It love it love it love it just look at it. So pretty i definitely like the natural texture the wig came in, but i also love a good braid out or twist out. So what are we doing next? Okay? So now, i'm gon na grab some of that hair in the front and i'm gon na twist. It and kind of tuck it behind my ear and secure it with a hair grip or bobby, pin cute right. What do you think? I think that looks really nice that suits me that way i don't have so much hair on in the front yeah i like that, and then this is what the back looks like very natural here, i'm making the hair bigger and bigger. How big can she go? All right, this is what it looks like with a natural looking loose ponytail. I swear if i didn't know better. I would just think that was my hair, because when my hair grows long enough, it's almost there. It looks just like that. All right, i'm gon na twist it again and then tuck it behind. So that looks cute right, hmm, so sweet okay, here she's, looking like the principal that went to a formal, that's what i felt like i put this like pretty beret in the back of my hair, for an updo and with my jewelry for some reason i feel Like i look like my mom mom, if you're watching this, i guess we all start to look like our moms okay. Here i wanted to show you what the hair looks like in natural light. Can you see, i am not wearing any makeup, nothing on my face and my hair looks so natural right. You cannot see really well where my hair starts and where this wig ends it looks so natural. So this is later in the day, i'm wearing some makeup and, as you can see, i'm wearing the wig slightly behind my hairline and i think it looks perfect like i love it love it love it anyway. Just a little reminder during the holidays: try not to stress out too much. I know you have a lot on your plate, try to make some time for yourself to relax and just feel centered. If you're wondering whether you can straighten this hair. Yes, you can take small sections comb through it and then brush through it, and then you can use your flat iron. I would try not to you know, straighten it too often, because you don't want to lose the curl definition, but yes, it does straighten pretty well. It will look like a blow out, so you can pretty much color this hair. You know braid out twist out whatever you can do with your natural hair. You can do with this unit. So this is what it looks like when you curl it with a curling iron. Look at the insert that's another unit i have with the reddish brown hair. I love it. It looks like beautiful natural blowout hair that has been curled look at those voluminous curls. So yes, your unit can do so many things. I absolutely think it's worth the money but, like i said they have a sub brand. You can also check out if you want something more affordable, but this is a beautiful investment and, as you can see, if you wet it the her hair, the hair reverts back. So now i have my juicy curls juicy curls back and it looks like it is growing from my scalp so anyway, i hope you found this video informative and helps you make your decision by the way.
