Tape In Hair Extensions | Everything You Need To Know About Tape Ins - Curls Queen

I just want to show you guys how the hair is looking. I did go in and add some warm curls, so i'm not gon na ramble too much in this intro if y'all want to see the whole installment process, of course, continue watching this video. If you are interested in this company, which you will be because the hair is bomb okay, so i'm just doing a quick unboxing of what they sent me. So they sent me a bunny, some hair clips, a new comb because i definitely needed me a new comb. They also sent me this brush. I believe it's like a detangle brush and they sent me some extra tapes, which i also love, because i'm pretty sure i'm going to want to reuse the hair. So i'm glad they sent extra tapes, and this is just how the hair looks. So they sent me 80 pieces which i believe is 400 grams, total not sure. But, like i said, the information is listed down below, but i believe 80 pieces is about 400 grams and yes, the hair is burgundy y'all, but it it does not match my hair color. So unfortunately i had to color this hair. I tried to darken it a little darker like a dark burgundy red, but the hair was turning purple and that was completely off from my hair color, because my hair color is no longer like a burgundy anymore. It'S kind of like it's kind of like a off color, like it's really weird. So, in order for this install to be flawless, i had to dye my hair jet black and i had to dye the bundles jet black as well to ensure that my hair looks flawless so yeah right here. I'M just showing you guys the process that my stylist is doing pretty much the silk press process, so the wash to blow dry and she's flat ironing my hair, just the fyi. If y'all are considering getting tape, ins make sure your hair is trained. Okay, especially because spring and summer is around the corner, you want to make sure your hair is trained, because, if not baby, your leave out is going to puff up and your hair is going to look a mess. My first time trying tape tape ends was last year. I went to kelly for my birthday that video is up by the way on my channel but went to cali for my birthday first time trying tapings my hair was not trained and it was a mess. It kept puffing up the entire time so yeah, just the fyi. My hair is really really trained now, so we good okay, like i get my hair pressed out regularly now, but just wanted to point that out. I also want to point out. I know that y'all see the purple, so yes, y'all y'all can see the purple. It was purple before it was black. I didn't. Unfortunately, i couldn't get the roots how i wanted to, but we did go in uh. Well, i did go in afterwards and use some black hairspray to hide the purple, so we good now, it's not gon na show, but just wanted to show y'all that, yes, the hair turned purple, so i had to dye the hair jet black. I didn't want to do jet black, but i really had no choice because purple and then my hair being like almost orangey reddish looking it just was not going to be a cute look so went with the black and i'm cool with that because i love me A jet black look so pretty much with the tape in install you pretty much just making a sandwich. Kind of that makes sense like you've taken one piece of tape in putting the hair on on top of that and you're going to take another piece of the tape. In extension, you're going to sandwich the hair, so you're going to put the tape in. On top now, if you want to try this by yourself, you can, but i know for me this is something that i would want a professional to do and to help me out, because i don't feel like. I would have the patience to do this by myself and i feel like it would not come out the way i wanted to, but as y'all can see, that's pretty much how you would install it. It'S super easy but, like i said, i would rather want a. I would rather have a hair stylist help me with this hairstyle versus doing it by myself. So shout out to my hairstylist. She did that i'll link her information down below, so we were able to get 90 of these tape in and the install was so thick. We had like a couple of tape in extensions left over but overall, like i was in love with the final process. Like i said y'all. If you are thinking about getting this girl, here's your sign to go for it. Like i don't even know when the last time i had a wig on like this is the new wave, as you guys can see, it's very versatile, which i love so much. I love how versatile you can be with tape. Is so she's just pretty much putting my hair in a ponytail, very seamless, very, very, very seamless, and she even said herself. These are way better than micro links. In my opinion, i feel like they are also way better than micro links. I never had micro leaves before, but i am i'm assuming it just looks better than micro links like it looks more seamless, i don't know, but here's the bun, like i don't know, tapings is just a whole vibe and i absolutely love it as i can see. I was so happy i was so excited and yeah she's, just pretty much doing like you know, versatile looks just to show you guys that you can put in a ponytail a bun or whatever you feeling. So i highly recommend this is really the new waves. This, like, i, don't want to put another frontal on ever. Well, i ain't gon na say ever, but this right here is really my thing, especially because i want to be able to grow my hair out more and i want to be able to just wear my hair out and wear more natural, looking hairstyles. So i'm so happy that you know i'm saying i'm i'm doing the whole taping thing, because this is my third time trying tape ins and i'm all for it, i'm all for the hype. So yes, if you think about it, here's your sign to go for it. So right here, she's um she already pressed out my hair and, as you guys can see like i'm so happy, i decided to do the jet black because you can't even tell where's my hair. You know i'm saying like it looks really really really good. It'S blended. So well, it's crazy. You can still kind of see that purple tint in the hair, which is crazy, like you, can still see a little purple peeking through, but overall the blend was blended. Okay, like the jet black, was a smart move, so another tip. If you wan na, you know what i'm saying get tape things make sure you just have to make sure that your hair matches that matches the hair that you're getting perfectly because if it don't, i promise y'all, it's probably not gon na look right. Okay, also, i want to point out that i love how like flexible these tapings are, if that makes sense, because, like i said this is my third time trying tape ins and i could definitely tell the difference in the quality of this company, because the tape in Part was like it was more so flexible and the companies out trying to pass wasn't like it was kind of hard in a way. So i definitely notice that difference and also you can reuse the hair y'all. Okay, do not throw your tape in the trash, especially if you're spending great money on great quality tape ends. You can reuse it. Hence the reason why they sent me some extra tapes and also you don't want to get cheap tape. Ins because they be they not gon na last, okay, they're, not gon na hold no longer than a week. Like, i said my first time trying tape ins, the hair was like low quality. The tapes lasted literally, probably five days, okay and they slipped right out. So you want to make sure you're not just putting anything in your hair. You want to invest into quality tape ends because that's going to make your install last longer. I also want to point out if you are looking for a thick install or like that full look, i recommend getting tape ins between 60 pieces or up just to ensure that your install is thick and full and everything is just blended um. The reason i say this is because again, like i said before my first time, getting tape ins. I did not know how many i needed. I started out with 40 and it was okay, but you could still see most of my hair and then a couple of the tape in pieces, and you can just tell it looked really weird. The hair was super thick and then once it got to the ends. It just thinned out because the hair was longer my hair was short at the time, so just a fyi, if you're looking for that more that full kind of like a sew-in or frontal type of vibe, that type of that type of fullness. I recommend getting 60 pieces or more like i said this company sent me 80 pieces and i believe we was able to use at least 70 pieces because we probably had, like maybe 10 pieces of tape. Ins left, so yes and as you guys, can see baby. It'S full: it's blended, it's just bomb period, so yeah just a fyi, and this is pretty much the end result she's pretty much just combing the curls out. We did a middle part with some loose curls and girl. All i'm gon na say is i'm just in love like i'm so shocked. This is by far my favorite install the best taping install that i've had and my girl did her thing.
