30 Inch Slick Back Ponytail Tutorial | No Glue, No Thread | Tiana Shannell

All the products will be linked in the description, but look how cute this is, and i also posted pictures on instagram. You can only see the sleep back part though, but it's given inches 30 inch middle part ponytail bust down, get into it yeah. So i just um took out my braid, so this is the clip and the next one is going to be with my hair blow dry. I didn't show all that, but i'll explain why in a second so yeah, i don't know why. The camera looks like that. So watch it. Why would you not so i'm not gon na record that, because that's not the final leg hairstyle so yeah? This is my hair. My ends are bad, but i have to tuck the out of it. I do my edges, but this is what is giving. This is what i'm giving the girls. I don't know what strange filter they'd be putting on the, but i think okay, yes, so um uh the whole time i was doing my edges. I was out of the frame like a dummy, so oh y'all can't really see me doing anything. The actual lane like y'all, can see me curling my edges right here. I did good with that, but for the actual, laying the edges part is really not in this video, but i have a whole tutorial on how i do my edges like this. So y'all can watch that i apologize, i didn't even realize i was out of the frame, and so i started editing so yeah my fault y'all. That'S the finished product yeah! It'S giving some of my love actually like looking back at it, because my hair was a hot ass mess right now, but yeah. So now we're gon na start the slick in the ponytail process. Um, it's very repetitive, so i'm gon na say it once, but i'm gon na keep the um. What am i trying to say? I'M gon na say one so. Basically, i part the sections that y'all see and with each section that i part i add oil to my hair to make sure that it's not. I want to give shiny sleek whatever so i add some garnier fructis oil. That'S going to be in the description below and then i use the murray's beeswax. I blow dry it put on my hair brush it in there blow dry it again. So it's not white on my hair, so it can melt brush it again. Spray some got to be to mold it brush it again and then net section. I repeat those same steps that kind of sound like a lot, and it is, but that's how you achieve a good slip back for my ladies with the thick thick hair. Like me, my hair is not that big, but it's definitely thick. I separate the back section like after i slip this section down. I just do a whole separate ponytail by itself and um. I think i do wait a second okay yeah i do, but okay, so yeah and i use a rubber band because since i'm to be putting multiple ponytail holders for one ponytail and wrapping hair around it, i only um use the rubber bands for this. If i was going to use one i'll, probably just use a regular ponytail holder, but i use the big rubber bands like the stretchy ones, so yeah. Why do i keep on coughing um? Wait, bring it over here. Oh this point this looking part is coming towards the end um. I barely tell the second slide because it's already redundant at this point, but i do show me like brushing it and putting everything in a ponytail but i'll show that little clip right there. That'S it! That'S like i need, i already show all that other stuff, but - and i was out of the frame also. So let me not just try to act like i just had everything together, just decided not to show it. I was out of the frame, so i just cut it out, but i was in the frame, but i wasn't turning right away for y'all to see actually but yeah. I actually tried braiding my hair, but it didn't work. So i just do these little bubble. This little bubble, ponytail with my raw hair and that's gon na, be under the wrap of the under the tracks under the weave, whatever you want to call it, and the hair i used was like ten dollars a pack and i only used two packs, not even A full two and they were 30 inches long yeah, both of them color 1b. So i use the rubber band method. It'S going to be in the title, but clearly watch closely to what i just did. I take the end of the track, separate it from the rest of the hair majority of it and basically rubber band. It tie it and use it as the anchor just look closer to what i'm doing. I think it visually makes sense. I make sure y'all can actually see it, so y'all can see what i'm talking about, pull it through that's the best. Then you want to take the remaining see how it's like the anchor yeah. You want to take the remaining and wrap it real, tight, real, tight, real, tight y'all. If y'all wrap it tight, you don't have to do it hella hella tight, but if y'all do it tight, it is not going nowhere. Y'All, like i'm, telling you every time, i've done a ponytail on myself. I use this method and it's not like the hair is slipping out in the middle of the party. None of that like it is stuck if anything it's actually hard to get out and when y'all take it out. I suggest y'all taking out the bottom one first, instead of starting from the top, but let's not talk about taking it out when we trying to describe putting it in you feel me, but yeah, that's the best way to do it. Y'All see how i'm wrapping it like. It'S not really tight, but it's like tight. It'S tight, so yeah keep on wrapping y'all get the point at this point, but if your hair is longer and you or thicker - and you need to use more than one bundle like i did, this is how you end it off in the middle of your head And i'm gon na explain how you use yeah so wrap it around like you would like if you were doing the top right and just take a real small small piece. Not that piece. Isn'T that small, but the hair is long. So that's why it's thick like that, because i had to keep on wrapping and spray. It would cut to be and just wrap it around real tight until there's no more hair left and i would blow dry it just to make sure like it doesn't come. Undone. Some people put a whole other rubber band right there um. I don't do that because it's too much work when the hair is that long, because you got to put the rubber band over yeah y'all got what i'm saying so just got to be it and spray. It and just make sure that one piece is tucked, but yeah y'all see you literally start off the second track. Just like you did the first one anchor one piece with the rubber band and start wrapping y'all see that it's not even clingy, but that's not even on show. I just want to start wrapping low enough, so it's like covering the wrap from the last one, but i honestly got lazy as my friend to start doing it, and this is what she did, but she basically just did everything that i already showed and now she's Just showing the wrap process at the roots - and you basically do the same - you wrap it the same way. You wrap the first track around the ponytail first bundle or whatever, and i just got to be it and blow dry it between each little thing. For the most part, and then yeah, you can't really see him out of the frame again but yeah. I got to be a tucky y'all see what i'm working with this is basically the end of the video, i want to say: bye, love, y'all y'all, already seen the finished product really in the beginning. So there's no point in really adding that, but yeah. This point still gave me something: i love and i'll definitely be doing this again.
