Hey babies, my name is Mookie Gina. Today, I'm going to show you guys how I got these 100 % human hair boho Lots in wastelands and as a little he knows added bonus. I'M going to show you guys how I'm braiding my hair as well to give it that really natural sunkissed look. Today'S video is in collaboration with shake-and-go. They wanted me to try out their visa human hair line, so creates these beautiful bohemian photo box. The goal for today is lisa bonet. Okay, she is the queen of bohemian locks. I absolutely love her hair, so that's really what I'm going for today and I hope that you guys enjoyed this video. So if you wan na see how I got this look then go ahead and keep watching okay, so I've already done most of my braids and now I'm going to show you how I did them with this last one here in the front, so you guys can Really see so the first step is to take your braiding hair here it is and I'm going to break it into little pieces. I like to have my pieces ready before I start to braid. That way, I can just grab as I go and, as you can see, I'm doing sections about a centimeter wide, not too big and not too small, now you'll need, I would say, between 3 to 6 sections, depending on how long you want your braids. If you want it really long, you have to keep adding as you go I'll, show you how, but if you're doing shorter locs, then you won't meet as many pieces. I'M gon na go ahead and prepare about 5 for myself, just because I want it to match this one, and I think that's about how many I used, I'm not gon na lie. I'Ve loved you been wearing these braids for about five days now and what I will say is that, even if you wanted to just grab some of the braiding hair and do some like boho braids, like the the base braids before you go ahead and wrap them, I would look cute kind of been in love with it so yeah. This is the section that we're working with I'm gon na just get a little bit of shea butter and I'm going to just spread that down the section just to make sure it's moisturize. While I'm wearing my left now, what I'm gon na do first is separate this piece into three strands, so I've done three passes now. I'M grabbing a piece of braiding hair, leaving about two inches left over and I'm going to pinch that between these two fingers and grab the Strand with the strand of the braid and then I'm going to do the same thing again now, with this section, I'm going To do the same thing: braiding the herring, but after three passes, I'm going to grab the curl and put it out of the way you want to give it a little tug to make sure all the [ __ ] hair is out of the braid. And then I'm just going to continue to braid until it's the same as this one. So as you can see, I'm grabbing a small strand listening. You want it to be relatively long, though, so you want to grab like a small strand of long hair, wrap it around these two fingers, and then you want to pull it through that same hole and I'm doing that three times with two different strands. So for a total of six knots per braid, so now, when I let that curl loose, it gives you that bohemian wick all right. So this is our base for our human hair locks. These are some human hair boho braids, like I said, I love this look alone. I only used about a little over one pack to get this entire look and mine are about waist length, but if you wanted to do them even longer or this length, I would definitely suggest getting at least two that, but of course the next step is going To be wrapping them, so we can get some gorgeous faux, locs, okay, so I've wrapped most of the locks. I just have these two lifts, so this is what kinky hair book looks like it's in a little mesh container, so I'm gon na just take a little mesh off and what I like to do is to separate the hair out and I like to just create Little half inch two inch wide sections, because I want my locks to be like medium, not quite jumbo locks, but definitely not small. I only have about 55 locks in my head and when I say long people do this style. They'Ll have like a hundred over a hundred and they'll do really small ones. As you can see, I have medium sized parts and I only have about 55 lakhs, I'm really going for Lisa Bonet, and I want to keep these in for quite a while. So they have to be perfect, so this is shaken. Goats, twelve-inch, Kiki, bull and, as you can see, it's quite curly, but when you stretch it out it's about 12 inches. I also have 18 inch in this texture. So if you want to do this length or longer, it might be a little bit easier with the 18 inch okay. So this is our boho braid that we did together. So I'm grabbing a relatively large section. It'S about one inch wide about two fingers wide and I'm just going to crochet through the root of my braid and pull the hair through then, I'm gon na hold about an inch of the hair next to the braid, as you can see here, I'm just holding That extra little hangover and the braids together and then I'm just wrapping around now once it gets a bit short, you want to grab another piece, lay it next to the braid, put the P shootout before and the new piece together. And then you want to wrap those together and just continue down the braid. You want to make sure that you're grabbing the old and the new hair when you rap, because that's going to give you some added security now that we've gotten to with a piece of hair Ian's, I'm going to just clip this curl out of the leg. And now I'm going to add a piece under the curl, put it with that old section and continue to wrap. So, as you can see, this size is not small, but it's not quite jumbo either, and the hair tapers a big I like to use the thicker portion to overlap cuz. I think it helps to make the lock a bit thicker. Then, if I were to use the tapered section first and it doesn't have to be perfect after you get the hang of it, it actually goes kind of quick. So once we've wrapped past that knot that we put the in you want to gather all of the kinky hair, even the hair that you had just laying over and you want to wrap it back up, and I literally you see how small it is. I'M going to wrap it until it's literally nothing left, and then I just give it a little twirl. Let my little curl down, I like to run my fingers down it just to make sure it's secure. If it comes apart, where my fingers downy, that I need to do a little some, some extra but a lot, it's gorgeous very soft and manageable and very lightweight human hair - is super lightweight. So, okay, so I have everything, nice and wrapped the locks. Look amazing. They'Re super lightweight. I love the curl pattern of the bulk braiding hair. I use 14 packs of the kinky braiding hair to wrap my braids, so in total I used 14 packs of the afro kinky bulk. So I just have one final test for this hair and that's whether or not it can be colored, I definitely want to go for that natural ombre. Look that people get when they have natural locks, that almost sunkissed look. So let me show you how what I got from Sally's, so I picked up some L'Oreal quick bloom bleach, some 30 volume developer and some gloves so yeah. It says it's 100 % human hair, so I want to make sure that it can be dyed. We'Re gon na see, and if it can, I'm literally gon na, be in love, because I feel like somehow I really gon na, add and dimension to this hair. Oh I'm so excited. Let'S get into it and see what this hair it's working with. I'Ve applied the bleach to the bottom path. Then I kind of like slowly did a gradient going up. I don't want to get the bleach on my real hair, so I stopped it about here and I'm going to let it sit for 30 minutes. Then I'm going to wash it out and deep condition. It and I'll come back to you guys once I've had it all nice and air dry, but low-key. This white is a look. It'S gon na be storm vibes anyway. So far so good but, like I said, we'll, see and I'll come back to you guys in about an hour so once it's dry, so this is the finished look as you can see. I have that beautiful ombre natural gradient look. I would say it goes through about a 1 B to a number 4 / number. 6. I didn't want to go too light, but you can always add more to your ombre over time. After, like it's really giving me that natural I've been growing, my locks up for years, vibe, especially with the color, so I'm literally obsessed - this hair gets a 10 out of 10. For me, I even had to wash the dye out a little bit early. I thought it would take about 30 minutes to get it here, but I literally only left it in for about 10 minutes. I love it and, as you can see, the curl pattern is still live and, in effect, which is really important to me because I hate I hate, I hate to lose my curls after I dyed my hair. That is the worst so yeah. I absolutely love this hair. Thank you. So much for shaking go for working with me definitely check out there Ibiza collection, but the links will be down below in a description bar as soon as it's available, and I hope that you guys really enjoyed this video. If you liked this video, then you would love these videos so get into it and I'll see you guys in my next video bye, guys

I_is_katkit: Girl, you are a GODSEND with this video. I was seeing braiders on Insta who were doing goddess braids with 100% human hair. I was shocked and jealous because I never knew it was possible (especially since human hair's expensive and I've only been braiding my hair with synthetic hair since quarantine). Once I saw this video and I remembered the Indian hair I still had in bundles, I was singing Amazing Grace all week. I just cut off the wefts and I was literally able to get the boho braids look you had at the start of the video. I'm half way up my head doing them and yeah some parts are tedious, but I'm LOVING the results so far. Can't wait till I finish! Edit: I did finish them!! Even though it took me about 4 or so days, it lasted me 3 MONTHS! Twice as long as if I had synthetic hair in my hair and it looked SO GOOD! And you were right, human hair is SUPER light-weight and probably why it lasted me so long and SO PRETTY. Once again, thank you THANK YOU for this video. I've never felt so pretty in my braids!
