Hey everyone: today we are going to highlight a client that has 4c hair a lot of people write in my comments section. Oh, you only show one with good hair or you never even show love to the 4c girls and one. That'S not true, because I show all hair types not only on my YouTube, but definitely to my Instagram and let's try to get out of the habit of saying good hair, because as long as hair is healthy, it is good for those of you who don't know What 4c is it's actually like? A system that somebody came up with to describe curl, textures and 4c happens to be the tightest curl. So watch me now as a highlight one of my clients with 4c hair. She actually just got a big chop about 7 months ago and I'm so impressed with how much her hair has grown. Let'S go. I started by washing her hair with first class to Morocco, shampoo and conditioner, so her hair is very coarse and his neck. Now, I'm just taking a dime sized amount of this satin shield serum, and this is gon na - make sure that her hair is as smooth as possible during the blow-dry, and it's also gon na protect her from the heat now, no matter what hair type you are You want to make sure that you handle your hair with care and love, especially during the blow-dry process, because the hair is weakest when it's wet. So you want to make sure that you're, using a wide tooth comb and combing the hair out gently from ends to roots I'm starting by stretching her hair and then I'm gon na go in with my Denman brush. I want to get it as straight as possible with the blow-dry cuz today she's getting a silk press and I wanted to get as straight as possible with the blow-dry, so I won't have to use as much heat during the pressing phase. I'M taking my baby lists. Digital iron and I'm pressing her at three hundred and ninety degrees. She hasn't had her ins trim since her big chop. So today we're gon na go ahead and do that now, I'm going in with the warm temperature of 280 just enough to give her a feather. Then I'm just gon na finish it off with the glass brilliant shine taking my Denman paddle brush. I am now going to wrap her hair smoothly around her head and then I'm gon na lay the saran wrap on the saran wrap is gon na insulate the oil from the serum and the oil from the shine, and it's gon na give her a more silk Finish: she's gon na go under the dryer for about eight minutes on cold air, now you're just gon na comb, her hair down with a wide tooth comb and style it. However, you want, or, however your client once and then you're going to take a soft brush and just brush the edges down flat and you're done. I know a lot of you are probably wondering about her natural curl pattern. Don'T worry about it, she is going to get it back, and I also recommend that she comes every couple of months to make sure that her in stay trim, so her hair can be strong from root. It'S a all products and styling tools can be found at deeper than hair comm. So I hope you love that as much as I did, her hair came out absolutely beautiful, like I'm doing with make sure you like, subscribe and drop some comments below of other things. You want to see cuz. Sometimes I run out of ideas like sometimes I'm industry and I'm like completely inspired by something I saw like I'm gon na, do that next on my youtube, so I just want to know what you guys want to see. So I can give it to you. Alright I'll, see you guys next time. Thank you so much for watching bye,

ciebaby: ngl she isn’t just a hairdresser she’s a whole artist

Michelle Ajema: As someone with 4C hair, I love this. I've never seen our hair type being handled this gently when heat styling.

Honest Comments: If you call yourself a hairstylist you are so wrong. Put a tiara on and call yourself a hair magician. That hair looks amazing!

Kutanra: I love how shiny her hair was, in some lights it was like a stunning silver

downbad: As a person who has pin straight hair I could never imagine what it would feel/ be like to have 4c hair! Lol looks sooooo pretty

cringe: You are so gentle with her hair, my mom yanks my hair and is like “it doesn’t hurt stop crying”

Y-ME Farm: Did not expect her hair to be that long when it was straightened. Absolutely gorgeous.

Gloria Apeitum: My first time seeing my exact hair type being worked on. I love what I have seen

🐼Gillian🐼: All hair is beautiful, no matter what it looks like, from curly to straight, from black to blonde. No matter what you want your hair to look like, the choice is yours, don't listen to other people make fun of your hair. If you like your hair, then that's all that matters.

Teddi: I’m just amazed. This sistah truly has a gift, and loves what she does for her clients. I’ve never seen anything like it. Please do a Master Class for us lay folk! SHE IS THE HAIR WHISPERER

Mjbgjk Hjjvghj: As a white woman, I want to say we need to hype up black women's hair way more then we do in today's society. We see so much hype for gender and body acceptance. But we forget other things too. I dont have anything against women who wear weaves or wigs. But personally I think black women's hair is very VERY beautiful natrually. Its disgusting to see some places ban afros or braids. For me it looks way more beautiful and professional then wigs and weaves. And Im not saying wigs and weaves are ugly. I just personally, think is way more beautiful to see a woman with their natural beauty. Update: this forum took a weird turn. My comment just stems from my heart, growing up in a black community I was able to have a different perspective in society. My views came from how I saw girls being bullied growing up, or even in public and at a work place hearing dirty comments here and there. This comment was just me expressing how I felt especially since this channel has put out in the past how young girls were bullied for their hair. I thought this would have been a safe place for me to express my feelings towards situations that I saw on day to day bases around the community I grew up. For those who try to twist my words, please understand that this topic is very important to me due to how much hurt I have seen with people who were close to me due to this. Im not following a trend or trying to shame anyone. And for those who do not understand or live in their own happy bubble. Please look into these videos and understand how important it is for society to make everyone feel loved about who they are. Every little girl and boy deserves to feel beautiful, because everyone has their own beauty. It should not depend on race or anything els. And teaching young children to accept others who are different brings a more understanding community with less pain and racism towards one another. That goes for everything not just looks. Noone should be ashamed for who they are. And sadly I have met people who were. https://youtu.be/YxG6S78X6SE https://youtu.be/a7sX1cn5aO4 https://youtu.be/4JU92bB1A5Q https://youtu.be/fFgQLb5Bjjw https://youtu.be/5DxfdANEv04 https://youtu.be/x-hshirfRi4 https://youtu.be/uGaCNXoZ0Bs

Girls are pleasantly surprised when I can do their hair and lay their edges.

You're greatly appreciated! God bless Sis!

V. Hansen: Beautiful before and after. Those tight curls and amazing bounce looked so healthy. And the after looks nice and healthy too. Very cool.

Bran: I really like how respectful you were to her nappy hair. I have hair like this and stylists have clowned me to my face. Saying, "This s#$÷ is ridiculously nappy, this some coarse ish"...thing is its just dry. Anyways, your techniques are so meaningful to myself and those who have hair like this. No longer will I endure trash( yanking my hair, breaking my hair) at the hands of a hairdresser because they are the only one who can get it straight. I did what I've seen in this video and my hair looks great, if I do day so myself. Thank you!!!! Can you show how to sleep on this hairstyle overnight? Should it be wrapped, pincurled, ...what? And could you show the take down from the overnight style? Thing is ever since my mom would bring me to the hairdresser for a press and curl I sweat out pressed styles...is there a way to mitigate the reversion? ...but srsly. Thank you from New Jersey.

Janice Elaine: I’m a white girl with thick long curly red hair. I’ve learned so much from your videos! You are amazing. Thank for posting. I’m always excited when you have a new video! Xoxo

nicole furnari: ugh, finally a hair dresser who knows what “just the ends” means

Amanda C: I watch this video every so often and I'm always amazed that such a tiny amount of that silk serum is needed for all that lovely thick hair... It must spread so well!

Liv Crain: And my last hair stylist had difficulties straightening my 3A hair and said it’s impossible for it to be anything but wavy

Helena: Honestly I think any type of curls are beautiful, but these ones are AWESOME. It should take a lot of time to be styled but seems worth it. Love their curly hair! And their straight hair too!

Assa Fi: Omg! I wish I could get my hair done by you. That looks FABULOUS!! I don't trust anyone to trim my hair. I would trust you though!

Mae Buckingham: I really hope that she came home to someone that gushed over how beautiful she looked

Quineta Tucker: Absoultely gorgeous before and after! sending lots of love <3

Brenell Hornsby: "As long as the hair is healthy, there is no bad hair!" Utter TRUTH! That "good hair" thing is SLAVE MENTALITY!

Eric Herman: Very beautiful color. Thank you for sharing this process with everyone!

COURTNEY Goggins: I would love to see you do Wash and go styles, roller sets on natural hair, curling natural hair with Marcel curling irons, Finger Waves, and protective styles.

PumpkinEskobarr: Forget “The Struggle is Real” it’s “The Shrinkage is Real” . I straightened my hair for the first time in a loooong time and found out how much it grew. I concerned it wasn’t growing but now I know

Sorry Assme: I love your hair style. I love the movement and the bounce of your healthy curls. I wish my hair could look like that !

Rachel ___________: Im blinded by how shiny her curls were. Even straighten its like shimmering, what?! Is she a goddess or something?

Sophie D: The thing I love about tight curls/afro is that it always seems like it has depths of versatility. Straighten - it looks beautiful and slick and so luscious and thick. Natural growth and unstraightened - beautiful endless curls, I imagine the hair feels like satin or velvet, dreads - don't even get me started these suit EVERYONE and I think quite low maintenance (?). Millions of other trends and techniques... all of them always look good no matter how different. In my opinion. As a Caucasian with no experience of this hair type, (and I apologise for any misplacement or assumptions I might have) I find this enviable. I know wigs are generally worn more for people with tight curls (again if I'm wrong no hate please correct me) and I've always thought- is it because they don't like their natural hair or is it because they don't want to "deal with it", or *maybe* it's because the creativity abilities are through the roof! Honestly if I could spend a day with this type of hair I would be in love with it. And watching styling is always soooo satisfying

Markayla Blanks: You did a beautiful job on her hair I'm so happy to see someone like you who actually knows how to style 4c hair keep up the good work. I have 4c hair and I have a hard time doing it I wish I have the patience to do my hair

Gabrielle Solomon-McCray: Outstanding job! I have 4c hair as well and I only silk press like maybe twice a year. When I get it press I look forward to results like this <3

Shaunna Allen: YASS!!! Her hair looks AMAZING! (Fellow hairstylist & new subscriber here!! )

Chakalate Thunder: I have to say this. Usually, when some hairdressers do natural hair, especially on darker skinned women. Some are extremely rough, and harsh. Not you though, you're very gentle. I watched how you handled her natural hair, and it was very kind. Her hair looks beautiful.

Beverly Williams: I am calling you the hair healer. I have watch you resurrect the hair. Thank you for all of the care and detail You share. I hope other stylists and fledgling stylist are taking note for: 1. Combing tangles starting at the ends 2. Using wide tooth combs 3. Using the paddle brush 4. Not going over the hair section more than once ( to avoid damage and altering the curl pattern) I am not a stylist but I have seen stylist who have done the opposite of what you shared. I have had my hair over processed raiser cut burned etc. I do my own hair except to get trims because of the abuse I received. You are one in a million.!

Appalachian Girl Designs: Love Love Love! You do such an amazing job with hair and taking interest in your clients well-being. Just love to watch your channel. This lady's beautiful hair just turned out perfect. I help my neighbor Ms Rita with her hair. She is elderly and can't get to the hairdresser like she used to. Her daughter taught me how to do braids for her mom and when she is out on business I stop by to help. Ms Rita is a pistol! 87 years old and precocious as ever. Grandma would have called her a "spitfire". lol

Anndena Anderson: Tender loving care is all her hair needs. Fabulous!

A: It looks AMAZING and super healthy!!

furmal86: The shiniest hair i have ever seen. And i like how her voice is so calming.

Arne D: This hairstylist is an artist. Beautiful video, beautiful hair, beautiful job.

Carolyn Angst: Thank you for explaining to those of us who are not people of color what 4c means. I've always wondered but never felt comfortable asking.

Pamala Yewell: I'm a retired stylist. I am going to use the techniques you demonstrate when I cut my daughters hair. She has dry hair/scalp and big curl patterns that are difficult to trim. I end up trimming too much every time.

dwro8ea: That is amazing! Black women are heroes for having to go through all this for perfect hair. Respect!

Rivahana: Can we take a min and appreciate how lovingly and carefully the hairdresser did her job? Mine rush like she has to catch a flight any sec now

Lynne Exsentico: I loved the way you said, "As long as your hair is healthy, it's good hair." I have 3c to 4a hair, and I had people tell me "Ooh Lynne, you have 'good hair' " I feel that black women and girls should feel like no matter what their hair type, their hair is BEAUTIFUL ❤️ because it's what the white supremacists want...divide and conquer. Black people should stick together so we can CONQUER HATE. We need to stop being jealous and love our hair.

Nai's Diary: I love this because as a young(13) black female it shows that I don't have to have long hair to have straight hair, and this was really helpful seeing how me the young lady in the video have the same hair length. :)

Gertrude Buck: I’m with you. As long as hair is healthy all hair is Good Hair!!

Ann Cabras: Thank you! That just helped me a lot with getting my hair straightened

Xion Memoria: Her hair is so dark, but so *shiny* It's like looking into the vastness of the glittering universe But it's hair HOW?!

Jozé Jeaux: Sis definitely has the hands for hair and takes pride in her work!!

Belle Morris: Wow this is amazing ! what talent this lady has.

tlcSerenityScents: Every time I see this it's like the first time. I was originally attracted to this video because THIS WAS MY HAIR and I love how you take care .. between your expertise and the way you talk!! It's very theraputic and you are expert at what you do on so many levels!! The outcome is ALWAYS superb! Somewhat of a hair doctor (in every sense). I damaged my hair so much trying to manage it. So sorry I ever knew ANYTHING about a chemical relaxer! When initially applied my hair was looked Ah'mazing .. just like your silk press. But AS SOON as my coily new grow showed up, the war was on! So much breakage. Too much touching up was a detriment. So after too many years of that and weaves, I decided to just keep it braided .. but hated to take down my braids because it was too hard to comb and manage. So then one time I cut off about 2-3 inches off thinking that it would solve the kink .. only to find out that the real truth was my 4C coils was hard to manage .. it was just snap back coily!! I am totally natural now and with so much research and development for natural hair, I've found a couple products that have worked in helping to soften the coil. But I'm now I'm dreading. NONE of it .. managing our hair .. is easy but I LOVE MY NATURAL HAIR! Our hair is really ah'mazing! Barakak (blessings) sis

SHAA-ISTA WILCOX: I mean we know 4c hair can get straight. The question is for how long? As a former 4c hair manipulator, I found constantly trying to get my hair straight was more damaging than a relaxer because as soon as you did something to make the hair sweat, you were back to an afro. The best thing for 4c hair is locs. 5 yeard and loving it!

La Will: My focus was her skin tone. This young lady’s tone is gorgeous

Lani: I'm in cosmetology school and watching your videos is so informative ❤

Ducky: The shine on her hair is AMAZING!

bee izzard: Much respect to your amazing skills!

Beauty Demon: I hope you are experience all the success in your career cause you are setting the bar so high!! This is just beautiful! And you are beautiful too!!

ballsoutballistic: Thanks for addressing “good hair” stigma. I actually had a stylist tell me that I had good hair. I asked why he said that because I had never heard that. He said it’s because my hair is coarse — it will hold any style longer and better. I felt proud, and in love with my hair. I never forgot that.

Linda Carruthers: Your videos are so cool . You change the appearance of the hair remarkably , and your styles are always a success .

Shelia Thompson: Beautiful. That's how my hair looks after a wash I have severe shrinkage. Her hair came out fabulous. You are an awesome hairdresser. And I love how you tend to people's hair with love.

FlyTubeMaster: So pretty, I wish my hair could look this good.

April Carr: I never comment on your videos because I be too excited to see the next one. Her hair was beautiful. I wish we could have seen the front of the style. I can only imagine how it has grown since. I love your work, dedication, Knowledge, and patience that You have ♥️

haylz4000: I'm a white girl with basic wavy hair but this showed in my recommended vids and it was so satisfying to watch. Beautiful hair both before and after but seeing such a transformation is so amazing and interesting!

Lisa Harrington: Exactly, there is no such thing as good hair. good is a behavior. Note: hair does not need to be down your back to be healthy. Look at this beautiful Queen. Thank you for all you do in transforming your clients.

frogge: i've always wanted to straighten my hair so i could do unique styles, but alot of them i liked needed straight hair. I saw this and omg THANK YOU

Ranesha LeBlanc: U r so consistent in every video!..that was stunning. Her hair was more than I expected it to be

Faith Nxumalo: Her hair is just like mine.. So thick and natural. Beautiful Job sis

Z: As a balding white male, not sure why this was recommended to me...

Truth seeker: I could watch you do hair all day! Thank you

5starHollywoodGossip: So grateful for the good hair god blessed me with ! After watching this I’m even more grateful!

Sam Lyden: My mind has just been blown. Simply beautiful transformation.
