Hair Extension Tips Satin Strands Review

Hi today I want to do a video about hair extensions. In particular, I want to talk about these satin strands that you can get from Sally's, so this is easy. Anybody can do this and you get your little Sally's card. So that gives you a bit of a discount and if you're lucky, you can even find something on sale with them. That'S gon na be on your your hair color, but this is what I did. I'Ve been putting extensions in now for oh, maybe about four or five months or so, and I got the idea when my daughter graduated from cosmetology school. So you know if you can find someone, that's cosmetologist that has the ability to to get hair extensions or anything like that, a discount even better. Yet for you you know and then look for things on sale and whatnot. Now I chose the satin strands when I went to Sally because, frankly, it just looked like the better one and originally I ended up getting 18 inches and I didn't know what I had gotten. I just got the longest one they had. Let'S see hang on one minute, so I have a good while now these are the satin strands and boy. You know they get kind of kind of tingly. I don't know if any of you had any of you've had extensions man, oh man, and this is what this should all look like in your hair at some point. So so it's a wonderful opportunity and in my mind it's been a wonderful opportunity to take and to learn about caring for long hair and for growing beautiful hair. You know cuz, I would love to have long beautiful hair, but I don't have long beautiful hair. You know I have bottom long beautiful hair, but I would also like at some point for my own hair, to match here. When I'm portraying you know, I mean this would be. This would be my ideal. I mean how lovely is that and it's fun it's fun to wear it's fun, to have now, there's a lot of work going into it and I didn't mean to get dicks the extensions to this leaked. It was quite an accident because when I had gotten these - and this is what it looks like now - this is oh, let's just say this is like three months. You know and, and it hasn't been flattened out today or anything. You know I take some works, but look at this now. Here'S some essential things that you you might as well just buy it buy this stuff. When you buy your extensions, don't go home and try and figure it out telling you right now you can do this. You need a leave-in conditioner and guess what, if you need a leave-in conditioner to keep your beautiful human hair beautiful then? Maybe your human hair also could use this leave-in conditioner. Now I'm not promoting this particular conditioner. This is a conditioner that I got when I went got my hair done at the salon. This is what the lady sold me. You know I mean there's but get a good one go to the beauty salon. You know the reason you do not have long, beautiful hair like this. I know it's because we treated it like crap. Now we need to learn some really good habits as to how we're gon na get our hair to grow. Beautiful and long like this and to look lustrous and to look beautiful and we're gon na practice on somebody else's hair, some human hair yeah, I don't know what kind or where this human hair comes from counts, get yourself a loop brush. This thing, let me see if I can get it: okay, get the loop brush wow, what a difference you know cuz. I was using my little flat brush and it was pulling the crap out of my hair and it was also pulling my extensions out. You know what just a pain in the ass and you need you to brush your hair. A lot now come to find out the longer your hair is the more you got ta brush it. You got ta brush it brush it brush it. You know and look it look at how wonderful this thing just goes right through it and check this out now. This is just a knotted mess, and this is just how these things get. You know, because why? Because because I've been abusing it, I've been treating it like. I'Ve been treating my own hair and guess what, after a while, it really starts to look like your real hair. You know it matches it real. Well, you just got it, but if you just treat it gently here, I think you can counter it really easy and it just at some point it's straight and sit down. You know, and you just got a comment - a lot when it's in your hair, you know you're gon na, be cleaning it and stuff like that. But you know so you, so you want to just do that and it moves really smoothly. You know, even through the tangled hair, you know, and you're gon na learn how to brush your long hair. You know, like I've learned that I'm not yanking it. No we're gon na be down at the bottom and many times when I have my hair. None of my extensions in you know you want to kind of hold it, but this thing just runs through so beautifully and then your hair will blend better with it. You know it keeps it all nice and blended in which is what you want at some point. You can even get the stuff cut, but man what it really what I really noticed since I've bought this brush, and I only got the idea from it. When I was looking on online, you know, and I was wanting to buy some hair. You know I'm looking for a discount like everybody right, it's like well, I'm gon na have to try this stuff. The thing I liked about Sally's was, I didn't know what I wanted. I don't know what the hell hair color, I am or anything and I can go there match the stuff right up. You know and I did I went and spent the pennies and I did get the better stuff. Now I didn't marry wearing these things. I'Ve been wearing these things for for quite some time now for several months, and only recently since I've come down to California, you know I'm down in San Diego in Alaska. Have them in that much except for when I was going out and every once in a while, but down in San Diego. I thought you know what I'm just gon na. Do it. I'M gon na go down there and just keep these things in and nobody knows the difference. You know people just accept you even further than you are. That'S the fun thing about being a vagabond like, I am you know, and I can just change into whoever I want to be and that's what you can do to you know you can do you want to be, and if you want to have long hair and Then the way you're gon na give it is to learn to take care of it and that's what I've been learning. But you know you keep it smooth and yeah and you take care of it, and I just want to show you like what I've got in my hair right now is brand new. I just made these now. I had to make these because it's just a long wave that you get and look here. It is all nice and cleaned up and when this is in my hair now this is a more fun size. This is the this. Is the size 18 inches. I was thinking I had 20 inches here. I wasn't kind of like a guy, but it was 18, and so I thought well, they had the longer hair 22. I was like a couple of inches. No, it was 4 inches longer as a huge difference and a look at I mean it is neat. Well, I don't know anyway, it is neat and it is fun and I'm gon na make a few more. I need to make a few more little pieces to fill in this front area here for sure, especially when I'm leaving like this, you know to get the real illusion, but we're working on it, but today I just did this. You know so anyway. This is a fun size, it is but it's a lot of work. It'S I can see my women with really freaking long hair always keep it in a ponytail. Now this was this ice now this is a really fun size and it's easy to pull off, and not only that really. I think that I look like I'm thinner when my hairs at this way then are with this length here then, when I tap this link and then my hair is just kind of coming through real heavy hair, that's the other thing man you got ta get. It worked out to where you can get enough in there. Okay, another thing that I've noticed about having extensions in my experience here. Yes, especially when I went from this, you know head of hair here, that's here and I went to here. This is a lot more hair and I doubled it up this time. The first ones I made and - and I did just in a single and I decided on the clippings - I did it in a single wave. I think I'm gon na stop here so that I have a ten minute thing and I'm gon na start another one. So this will be at this point: a two-part series.
