Hey everybody erica with the kate here. Today'S video is on the la voo extensions. These can be purchased on amazon. I have them in my affiliate link if you guys want to check them out, but you would be responsible for color matching, and that is what this lovely client did. This video is from a while ago. I just haven't gotten around to editing it, but they actually went on amazon. They purchased the hair extensions, they did a fantastic job on the color matching and then they made an appointment with me to actually put them in. So we're going to start off by our sectioning sectioning takes a while in this, because you want to make sure that it's done right. I did see some reviews on amazon where people said they like haphazardly, put them in their hair themselves without sectioning great and it still turned out. Okay um. I had actually done it on myself and when i had my extensions, i had the same ones in and i kind of haphazardly did it. However, i wanted to as well - and they did turn out good, but since i'm doing this professionally and they're paying me for a service, i wanted to make sure i did it right. So i really focus on those sections. So we're going to section the hair we're going to separate from the rest and then we're going to go in and we're going to take little sections horizontally. So you kind of want to do like a backwards check mark if you guys are used to doing like a balayage or if you guys were trained on how to actually do balayage. You know you do like a backwards check mark and that's how you section out the hair. This is kind of like from the beginning um when it came from like friends. That'S how you did it, but i know like a lot of people just kind of balayage. However, they want now, but that is the real way to do it, and so it's a similar way of putting these in. So you kind of want to get a little section and you could use that with a tail comb or you could use it with your fingers. However, you feel comfortable, then you're, going to slide that plastic piece on these are reusable. So if you decide that you want to take them at a later date and hold them for later put them back in, you totally can, but there is a little bit of a glue inside there. So before i get ahead of myself, let me just backtrack um. So you're going to slide that plastic piece on and then you're going to pull the hair through the loop. So it's basically like if you were to thread something or something like that. Um and use like the thread, if you guys are into sewing - and you use like the thing to help you thread, and then you know it's a little bit bigger, so you could like put the hair in it. I'M not really explaining it well, but i try to do the best. I can showing you guys how to do this. It is pretty simple, then you're going to take something like pliers. I used my socap um. I don't know what i just said: yeah socap. I use my socap tool that i got for the kohl's hair extensions, which is something that i do offer in the salon and it's a clamp and that's what i use to put these in her hair. So it's like a little bead and you clamp it down. Really tight, the better, you clamp it the more they're going to stay, but there is like a little glue piece. That'S what i was trying to say before there's like a little glue piece inside of it, so um that does kind of help. It adhere a little bit. If you guys want to take these out, i would suggest clamping it the opposite way. So the way that you clamped it to flatten it down, clamp it the other way to lift it back up, and that should definitely help take it off. You might want to use a conditioner or oil or something like that to help it slide out, because again there is that glue piece in there. So i hope that this makes sense. Here'S a before and after hope, you guys like this video. I love you guys so much. Thank you for your love and support and let me know what videos you guys want to see in the future all right until then i got noth. I love you guys and i'll talk to you guys later bye,

Laura A: This is so neat! Thanks for posting it!! A few years ago a co-worker had something similar done I think but I wasn't familiar with the fine-tuned details of it, and it's cool to see how far hair extensions have come in just a few years btw!!!
