Microlinks Done The Easy Way | Curlsqueen

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, i'm janae nichols in case you are new and in this video i'm going to be showing you guys how i do this micro link install using this hair from curls queen. So, of course, before you start, you have to do a silk press and you want the hair to be as clean as possible. I'M doing that first. So these are the micro link, weft extensions and i do have it in 20. Inches and the texture is light. Yaki, so basically, with these extensions, the bead already comes sewn onto it. So all i'm going to do is take my crochet tool. Stick it through the bead and then i go to apply it to the hair so to apply it all. I'M doing is grabbing a little bit of hair with the crochet tool and then i close my latch and pull the hair through the bead. So my first track, i did do it upside down, i feel like you can. Do it either way you want, but in the next one you guys will see that i do it the opposite way. Just to hide the bead, like i said either way is fine. I was just trying to figure out what would be the best way for me and my client after that i will take my pliers and close the bead. This is super easy to do. I do recommend you get someone to do it for you. I wouldn't do it myself, i tried and it was kind of difficult, so definitely get someone to do it for you and that's, basically, all you do around the whole head. What i love about this is the bead already comes attached, so this isn't how i do my normal micro link installs. I actually have to attach the bead myself, but this way it's so much easier and it literally saves so much time and whenever you get to the end of a track and you're ready to cut it off, just make sure you cut beside a bead and make Sure that you're measuring each track before your section just to make sure you have enough and know how it's going to fit in your client's head and also when i'm closing the bead, i'm making sure not to make it too tight to the client's scalp. You definitely want to have some slack to where they can't really feel the bead. It shouldn't be tight at all. If it's too tight, it could snap your client's hair or make marks on your scalp, and you do not want that foreign one truly foreign foreign. So i did receive 200 grams and i used about 180 ish. I will say i love how this hair is thick and full from top to bottom, so it doesn't get super thin at the ends like most hair. So that's a really good thing. So you're getting your money's worth and the quality of this hair is really good. It literally matches her hair. So well. So this is the final look. I hope you guys enjoyed this video again. This hair is from curls queen and it is light yaki 20 inches, but i did cut it just to make it look a little more realistic for my client.
