I'M back with Christine and we're doing the move up for the first time. So there's the grow-out, I would say about half inch. It'S been six weeks. I think right so yeah yeah. I thought I was gon na kind of feel like with the tapings. You know how you can feel they're going out you guys putting up anymore, but again, it's high enough that, like it didn't you know nothing sure anything, there's no um pulling anything. You did really well with them yeah. It'S just nothing compared to you for the items. Those are like know if there's so many pieces to take out in time. Are you just snipping it so yeah? I just that's. Are they dead so um in that's what I just I just clip those and then I go back and I take off the the beads that is so crazy. I know and you take out the beast in the summer hair kind of come out. You sure. So it's not anything to pull it's just your natural shedding because it's been already so here's my natural hair. As you can see, my real hair pulls super brassy Orange II. This is once the toner has faded. Out has always happened to me: it my hair just pulls super brassy, so that get stoned once we redo the color okay. So now I'm putting it the Heron is the same hair. You can use how many times to use it. Just until it looks like my dryer, usually like everyone about like it, depends four to six months, sometimes a little bit longer and it depends on how it's taken care of, and you know if you're just watching it once a week. It'Ll last longer - and I always check the top of the West when I take them out to make sure that they're still strong. If I can move the left at the top, then that means it's getting loose and what's gon na happen, you're gon na be a lot of shedding and then you lose like the Univ of your hair. So that's when you know I can replace one or two two or three at a time or, and some people like that old hair need hair, feel the texture, that's what I usually do it cuz. We live you don't to draw okay, so we just finished up and it looks so good. How much did you cut off? Okay, really game yeah, so he's shortened that a little bit? Oh, it looks so cool right there, so Christine only added to coils on my real hair, so we didn't have to damage my real hair anymore. So all the highlights in here are all the extensions which is awesome because in your real hair still stays healthy. Oh, it looks so cool mm-hmm, okay, I should get some photos yeah you all right, so I just filmed my foundation Friday on the flawless foundation, tips, video and I'm now just waiting for my Chipotle Post mates orders. So I figured - and that would be good time to sit down and chat about the NBR talk to you guys about things. I'Ve noticed my current thoughts on it. If I think it's worth it and chat about MBR, so I asked you guys on Twitter. If there are any specific questions, you want me to answer so I'm going to go through some of those, but I'm currently on the wood floor on my knees on a pillow. I'Ve got sweatpants on the bottom, but this is my current hair. After the move up and the new light pieces, we added and everything so before we get into it. I just want to show you guys kind of in this lighting with what it what it looks like this is actually like week-long hair right now I haven't washed. It since I got it done, okay, so first, I'm just gon na give kind of like an overview since I've had the MBR extensions for over two months now and just some things that I noticed and then I'll get into your Twitter questions. If you have no idea what MVR is you don't know what I'm talking about? I did a whole video when I first got them put in a couple months ago, so I'm gon na link that video in the eye and down below that goes more into like the process and how they're different than tapings and stuff. But overall I would say I have a hundred percent enjoyed the MBRs. I love tapings like I was a big tape and advocate, and I still am, if you need something more affordable mbrs are pricey they're, not cheap. So, if you're looking for more affordable option, I think tapings are definitely the way to go just because of the cost difference, but as far as MBR versus fusions and some other extensions that are around the same price point and we are a hundred percent. I don't even notice them in my hair now when you touch your hair, you can feel the two bands or whatever I would say the few main advantages for me of MBRs over teh pins. Are that you, when you put up your hair, you don't have to worry about them, showing I mean I can literally like pretty much style, my hair any single way except right over the thing you know, and they don't show put my hair in a high pony When it's windy outside, I don't have to worry about the tape showing or anything my hair can blow, and you can't see anything something that I find way easier. Is that because there's Oh adhesive, if you want to you, can sleep on them wet, and I just find that my hair, when I can sleep on it, wet and then style it in the morning. It just styles so much easier, it's less damaging because I don't have to fully blow-dry it. So that's something that I really like with the MBRs tape ins. You have to dry it that night, because it just weakens a tape. If you sleep on them, wet and MBRs, since it's just sewn in it, doesn't matter at all. I also love that I can put my conditioner all over my hair with tape ins. You have to be really careful because you don't want to get any of like you're, slippery oils or conditioners up to the tape, because they'll literally just fall out with these. You can condition your hair and do everything like you normally would. The only thing I noticed in the shower is that it is very heavy because you have so much hair. In I mean it happens with tapings infusions and everything too, but I feel like, for whatever reason it's a little bit heavier in the shower. When your hair is wet your I mean it feels heavy like all, usually sectioned off and then all conditioned shampoo one section. Then do the other again I don't wash my hair everyday at all. I literally wash my hair like just depends once a week. I don't have to wash my hair lot because my hair doesn't get oily, it doesn't smell and it's less damaging the less you wash it. So I try and push it out as far as possible, especially with extensions, because you want to keep the extension hair intact. You do have to you, know, use hair, masks and oils and stuff to keep the hair in good shape and because the cost of the hair is actually the main cost. You want to do as much as you can to keep the hair intact. So Christine was saying that you can usually keep the hair for around like five or six months 7 months, sometimes just depending on how well you take care of it. So I have been taking care of my hair really well. I'Ve been brushing it up right to the top, so it doesn't get like you know, dreaded or tangled right by the part, that's sewn in so I've been taking really good care of them. I think I mean they feel really good. Still. They look really nice and shiny and healthy. Still. This is the same hair and I'll keep this hair. You know as long as I can, but that is the main cost that the move-ins are actually way cheaper. So that's something to consider if the initial price point was like holy, the move-ins are way cheaper because you're using the same hair and you're really just moving it up. Yeah, okay, just kidding. I went on Twitter to see what questions you guys have and there were a lot of responses from people just saying yes do the video. So let me try and think about what else would be helpful to know another one of the main advantages of these are that they just blend so much easier. So, if you're, someone who is wanting to add in highlights or lighter pieces - and you don't want to bleach your real hair, this is a really good option. It'S harder to blend those with tape, ins because again they're just like individual strands and you can't customize them as much. She literally custom colors all of the extensions in here and then decides where to place them. So everything blends - and I told her this time that I want all of this dark and I just want the lighter pieces down here to like kind of pop through I don't want blonde pieces. I just want a little bit more dimension because I feel like with black hair, it's hard to see how you style it sometimes and stuff, and the curls don't show up as much because you can't see them. So when you have some like lighter pieces in here and there, it just adds some dimension and I don't know just like something different to try. So obviously, a big question last time was the price, and I pinned a comment kind of explaining the pricing and what Christine messaged me. What she told me to tell you guys. I'M just gon na explain the pricing in this video as well, since there were a lot of questions about it. So let me just preface this by saying a hair extensions can be pricey. I have paid a lot of money for hair extensions in the past, especially with fusions. I think fusions were the most expensive. Tapings are the way to go. If you want something more affordable, if you have the money to spend - and you don't mind spending it on hair extensions, I definitely think NPR's are the best overall. So just keep that in mind, but they are very pricey so for 14 to 18 inches the total - and this includes custom color cut, applying them like putting them in and the actual hair. So this is everything like oh inclusive, for 14 to 18 inches. My hair right now, I think, is about 19 inches, probably if I did buy the 22 inches and we cut them, but for 14 to 18 inches, it's 1200 to 1450 for 22 inches its 1400 to 1850, but it depends how many rows and how much hair You need I'm reading Christine's message right now to make it look as natural as possible, so you might only need one Rowe and if you only need one row it would be a lot cheaper, cuz it'd be like half ER, third, the amount of hair, so it Just depends on your hair in your situation and then move ups are 250 to 550, depending on how many rows they have in. So that's, actually it you know affordable in comparison to other extensions 250 to 550, for the move up is actually pretty good. I mean it cost me what was it? It was like 750 to remove my fusion extensions, and I was there for literally seven hours. I think it took them to get it out. The fact that it's only about 250 to 500 to do the move up and that it literally takes 10 minutes to take them out, and then she moves them up to where your hair growth is is. Actually you know a pretty sweet situation. Move ups usually need to happen every six to eight weeks, but it just depends on how fast your hair grows if your hair grows slower, you'll obviously have longer time in between your move ups, if your hair grows fast and might move down to here, and then You know you'll have to go in sooner, so it just totally depends. I did mine at, I think the seven week point, and that was only because I was going on the trip to Pittsburgh and I wanted like fresh hair before then. I probably could have waited honestly at least like two more weeks, probably 2 to 3 weeks. If you can push it, and just like put your hair, you know back in a bun or something for a couple more weeks, and that saves you a lot of money too and again that is pricy overall for the initial thing, but you're using that hair. If you take care of it for like six months, so a big chunk of the cost is just the hair, and I have tried a lot of different hair types now from different salons, whether it's tape ins fusions. What other kinds of I had Amazon like I've, tried a lot of different hair at this point, and this hair feels good, like this feels like thick nice quality hair, one of the ones I tried it felt like a wig like not great. I think those were the gleam glam seamlessly unless dozens are horrible, don't get those. I wouldn't recommend going to a salon that uses those that hair quality is compared to what you can't have I'm trying to think what else I really just feel like. Overall, this is the easiest hair I've ever had in as far as just maintenance styling everything I love them. I feel like it looks super natural I'll, show you where my Hera's now so here's my real hair. So it's actually getting pretty long, it's maybe 3 2 or 3 inches shorter than the extensions. So again, my main reason for getting these in is to add volume, because I'm on a medication that thins out my hair and has just made it like fall out and get really thin. So I like having extensions in just add volume and also again to like play around with the color, because I wouldn't be able to get this kind of color on my box, black hair, which is why also my real hair up. Here I mean I have a little bit, but it's really hard to get this hair to lift. So it would just take so much more damage in time than adding in the lighter pieces with the extensions. But if you guys have any other specific questions for Christine, you can follow her on Instagram too. She does a lot of like before and after is there too, if you want to see other colors of hair or other links and stuff, so I'll put her Instagram in right here and also down below in the description box she's in Gig Harbor, which is only Like an hour outside of Seattle, my mind is kind of blank right now and I'm kind of starving. So I hope I remembered everything I want to tell you guys. Oh as far as products I'm putting on it, I'm putting on the Brio Gio argan oil mix thing I'll link that down below I have been doing hair masks. I love the L'Oreal one on the extensions it makes it feel really good and healthy, and then shampoos and conditioners I just always kind of like switch up pure ology is always to go to, but I definitely keep them super moisturized, even if I'm just throwing it In a bun that day, I'll still put in some kind of oil, argan oil debris oshio thing something just to keep it really moisturized and I bring out all the way down to the ends. To I fully documented the first round in the salon and doing the bleaching and everything so if you missed that video definitely check that one out. I love you guys, thanks for watching, see my next video [ Applause, ]

Madison Shaffer: Have I ever worn extensions? No. Will I ever get extensions? No. Am I still watching this video? Yes.

Franki Holbein: I love how you splurge on specific things in your life. You shop thrift stores and diy furniture but splurge on hair. Love the balance in life. We all have the one thing we will pay big for

Tamaira Paleski: Sometimes I feel like youtubers are so relatable, then I watch videos like this. 250 to 500 every 6 to 8 weeks is INSANELY expensive. I still love Taylor and watched the video. I appreciate the honesty about the price. I feel like it's important to keep in mind that these youtubers are in a different income bracket than most of us viewers. I know sometimes I'm guilty of comparing myself to them when it's really apples and oranges.

Caroline Gaudet: I’m so jealous that you can wash your hair only once a week. I have SUPER oily hair, and I have to wash it every-other day or else it looks like I smeared coconut oil on it

Leah Marie: That pricing is absurd! I’m hesitant spending $48 on a nice haircut. Damn.

A. C.: Maybe I’m alone in thinking this, but your natural hair is quite long and thick on its own, I honestly don’t think you need extensions. It looks great without them! But you look beautiful both ways, whatever makes you feel confident.

Sam Eileen: Wow that looks incredible! She's so talented and you're georgous! Awesome advertising!

Kathryn: Your hair looks amazing ❣️ I like that you took us through both processes to see exactly how it’s done. And Christine, is an awesome stylist❣️ I would fly from the Bay Area to Washington to have her do my extensions

Kelsey Lyon: Your real hair is so pretty! I don't think that you even need the extensions, but they do look very nice. :)

Tanner Harding: Damn I’m too poor to even watch this video

Natalie Palmer: Is it weird that I actually really like the warmer tones in your natural hair?

Sheri Applebee: Honestly love the length and colour on you! Lots of love from Australia

Missy Maria: Your hair looks so pretty! I love the way the stylist curls your hair, she’s the reason I started to curl mine.

Faye M: Great video! And the dimension from those little pops of brightness in the colour- gorgeous!

Krystle Bartholomew: Just wanted to say I love your videos so much! I'm working my way further and further back while I do data entry at work and you're just so funny, informative, and entertaining. Thanks for making great content <3

JennaBethBeauty: I had a rough day and your video instantly relaxed me! Also that intro was awesome! ❤❤❤❤

Courtney Velazquez: I love this hair extension method! My hair lasted for 8 months, with a move up every 8 weeks. I got mine done at a salon named Just Extensions in Los Angeles. They sis a wonderful job and it wasn't as expensive. I paid around $600 for 22" including blending and application.

Halfofmyheart: Their really gorgeous. It looks so natural. I watched the first video and I was wondering when it was time to take it off if hair would fall out bc it seems like such a little bit of hair was used to hold the extensions up, but it was fine, thankfully. I love the whole process - need to see if anyone around me does it!

Lovely Deanna: It looks sooooo good oh my goodness! I have never ever had extensions and found this so helpful.Thank you so much for this video and inspiration :)

Jenny R: I’ve never paid close to $750 for fusions :s and I have excellent quality fusions. I pay under $500 for hair and installation, blending etc. Guess it depends on what part of the world you are in mine are 24”

Yep: I got some hair extension with clips on amazon for $9. And let me tell you. Everyone asked me what was my secret to have such beautiful hair. Best $9 spent ever. Never gonna make more into hair

Taylor Wheeler: Truly an amazing deal on extensions. Most stylists charge for the color and cut plus the extensions. Super nice that everything is included and not absolutely ridiculously priced.

Rachel Cooper: This is the salon I used to go to when I used to live there!! They're all so amazing there !

Maria Wiswell: You have such gorgeous hair with/without extensions . That price tag made me way to cry but damn they look beautiful. I have the finest, limp, and oily hair so the hair envy is strong watching this video lol Keep up the awesome videos!!!! You deserve all the success you've achieved through your hard work and clear dedication to quality content. Xx

Whit PDX: Looks so good :-) I’ve bought a handful of products based on your recommendations and I have to tell you, I am so thankful for your advice! You’ve led me to some really awesome stuff keep up the awesome work! Sending big love from pdx

Positive VibesOnly: Dang I really wish I could afford hair extensions like this. They look so beautiful on you

Sarah Kokopuffs: I thought $600 for a weave was expensive back in the day. Ha. Hair extensions these days is more than your mortgage. Lol

Karen League: I really love your hair! It's so beautiful, and the new highlights look great and do give your hair more dimension!!

K.d. Lyn: Wooowza. Das espensive! Thanks for doing these in-depth videos so people can be fully informed before taking the plunge!

Niki Bear: LMMFAOOO u kill me.. "If the initial price point is like.. Holy Shit.." anywho.. TYFS girl.. U rock in hardcore ways lil mama! ✌

UwU Master: yeah i’m gonna stick with clip ins. $10k at least for these extensions a year

☆ Gracie ☆: Your hair looks amazing! your stylist is very talented!

Alyssa Jenkins: It would be awesome to have a video of your fave products you use on your extensions! I’ve been experimenting and having found my faves yet.

Lauren Moore: I LOVE MY NBR. holy cow I've had them for over a year and never again will I ever go back to any other extensions.

Chelsae Colbert: That moment when hair is the cost of your mortgage.

Isabella Anderson: I LOVE YOU!!! Love supporting you, wish I could meet you! I have very long thick hair and this video is just amazing cause I love you and love to see your face when you light up with excitement!! Love you TAYLOR!!!!!!

Linda Tannock: Your hair looks stunning! Love it!

Lacy Magnolia: I saw your original ig post from 2 months ago and I knew I wanted NBR. I got them and I am in love. I don’t know if I’ll go back to not having them

Jennifer Bryant: I absolutely loved mine! The upkeep and move ups every six weeks were too much of a financial burden for me. I would get them again in heart beat though if I could.

Alyssa Jenkins: I got mine about a month ago and love them. I workout 5 days a week though and my head apparently sweats more with all this hair so I feel like I have to wash mine at least twice a week if not three times. Dry shampoo just doesn’t cut it cause my scalp tends to be SO dry but my hair gets oily. It makes no sense.

My-Randa: I'm still always so surprised to see your blonde regrowth (even though I've been watching for years), it seems like you should have been born with black hair!

Asmaa Essam: Wow your hair looks great! She did an amazing job ❤️

bailuli: Lol its funny, you non-extension hair is thicker/fuller than my hair lololol

Samantha Donohue: GIRL. you are being robbed. There’s so many stylist in my area that charge roughly $150 overall for a moveup.

Thatsnotmyname Tingting: Looks alot better this time round. I love the highlights

Manic Mommi: If my hair keeps thinning out I’ll be investing in these. I’ll try the cheaper option first to see if I can handle them before I majorly invest. There are a few salons here that do them but I need to research to make sure it’s legit and not ‘I can do it’ kinda person yah know?

Pati Giddens: I'm losing my hair on top it's thinning and it's depressing of all things to lose as woman!!! I wish you could do extensions for that!! Your hairs beautiful!!!

The Siren Diver: Holy shit I WISH my hair grew like yours. I love my NBR's but I have to get them moved up every 4 weeks. They look so good on you!!!

Laura Rasch: I couldn't handle these extensions, they make my head so itchy! I had to get my cut out after 2 weeks. I hated sleeping on it too! Your hair looks FAB tho!

Chanda Chism: I am a pixie girl, but I do appreciate good looking long locks. Your extensions look so amazing that I would never have known they weren’t your real hair, if I didn’t watch your channel. ❤️

Disneyfanlover88: Your hair looks so pretty! ❤️

Krystal Mead: You are absolutely gorgeous and your hair looks bomb!

Naz S: Wow! It looks amazing I want to do it on mine!

ldbagge: Will u please do a full week of how you manage your hair styling and management / routine without washing, pleaseeee!

Christine N: Love this information, thank you!

THEE Luanne Santos: I always wanted to try extensions This was helpful. Thank you! #BAERRITO FAM IS THE BEST FAM

Destiny Shoemaker: Can anyone give me suggestions on growing my hair? Two years ago I cut my hair to shoulder length and ever since, I feel as if it just wont grow. I only wash my hair once or twice a week, I have cut down on heat tools dramatically and tried taking one a day vitamins. What others things can I try? My migraine medication also causes my hair to come out alot during brushing. Help please!

Belle Clementine: Looks beautiful!!

stacey tait: Looks so good! Can you please also do a video on how you grew out your hair?

Gisell Garcia: How you color your roots with NBR on? can you do that on your own having the NBR on?

Katelyn Brinkerhoff: Your hair looks so good!!

HIYRAZ: What hair can you recommend for this type of technique?? I’d like to purchase my own hair!

Meagan: girl your hair grows SOO fast!

Amanda Martinez: In the beginning of the video: wow ok I like this I might save up (i have thin and a little bit of hair so I’ve been wanting extensions) The price part: ooooo nooo girl never mind

norbygata14: You’re gorgeous and and inspiration <3

beth stepongzi: I've been wanting extensions for a while now cuz I cant get passed this pixie cut growing down my neck ....plus my hair turns to full blown fro.......so I wanna get extensions until my hair is grown out. Thank u for all your info on these!

Slim_Stina XOXO: You have so much hair naturally, so beautiful I’m so jelly

It’s Sam time!: I literally just got these 4 days ago. My hair for 16 inch and install was $690. And for her to dye and style was $94. And the hair brand we used lasts about a year. She did amazing. I agree with you, definitely worth it.

Cj Gay: Your hair looks beautiful!

Ri Ray: You can buy really good quality hair from unice hair and beauty forever and find a lady who does weaves on kijiji and ask her to do a partial sew in for you. You will get the same results as this and you shouldn't pay any more than 65 to 70 for the service especially if she works from home.

Ciara Armstrong: Girl I am GAGGING at the price...

Sunny sandy: Theta re gorgeous on you, however, I couldn’t never afford that. Props to you

Samantha B: How much do you tip the stylist? Just wondering if I do my extensions

Camille Gonzalez: I love it, that color ❤️

Sydney Stories: I was so excited when I saw these at first, them I checked out the studio near me that does them and they start at 1200! I live in a sort of rural area and without counting and my rent, power bill, internet and car payment don't even cost that much combined! They're such beautiful extensions though, completely jealous of anyone who can afford them!

Sarah Jayne: Would love to know what’s on your eyes - colour is stunning.

Bethany Colors: Convincing argument for extensions. Gorgeous!

Brittany Davis: Oh my god I’m not kidding when she was going to say the overall price I was thinking it was going to say something around the 400-500 mark. If I wasn’t laying in my bed I would’ve fallen down lmao.

Lana R: Ugh I want to try these so badly but my hair gets OILY- I usually wash daily and I’m terrified that I’d look like a voluminous greaseball.

ShannonElaineeS: I’m glad I’m not the only person that has hella brassy hair. Drives me crazy. I tone my hair every 6 weeks

f c: Hi Taylor! Are you still getting extensions? What are your thoughts on them now (especially as a migraine sufferer)?

Heather Hernandez: It looks amazing

MakeMoreMusicOk: Your hair is just gorgeous. Thanks for all the add'l info.

Mariah Murphy: Your hair looks beautiful!

Julie Wells: Your hair looks GORGEOUS!!!

Danielle Rau: Kids are in bed... It's me time! Thanks for the video, love the dedication. The hair looks beautiful

Jamie Monroe: I don't need hair extensions as my hair is 3 inches past my butt but I absolutely love the color in your ends. Looks so beautiful!

Claire Trevenen: I had these extensions for nearly a year. Man, the confidence I had with them ! Wow! I cried when I had to take them out for good

Jordyn Rae: I have the same thing and mine last 9 months to a year so I think it just depends on the hair you use. Also mine isn’t nearly as expensive to do so I think it depends on where you go and where you live!

uglyjustinebieber: that one direction music in the background though

Sarah Dayton: Love this! I definitely can’t afford any form of extensions plus my hair is so thin and I have so little that it won’t work. ‍♀️ Question: where is your shirt from? Love your videos!

Melissa A: Looks great!

broomegirl1023: Girl your skin looks so good!

Lil Zuplada: I have the same extensions except it's not permanent and it's easy to take on and off. It's called halo/flip on extensions. It's held by a string/wire. Either a thread or monofilament. I DIY'ed my own using bundled extension hair weft.

Jacqie Edwards: Do extensions make your headaches worse?! I know when my hair gets long I tend to get more headaches. I’d think the weight of the extra hair would make it worse!

Brooke Campbell: Can you please try the L’Oréal shake and glow mist!? To see how it compares to the catrice one! It’s in a bigger bottle than that one!

Kaitlin Beste: I'm getting nbr this Friday for my b day I'm so excited! Thank you for your thoughts on it I hope I have the same success ,.. but also , did you lose any of your hair when they come out ? That was my issue with keratin bond ones

Beth Reynolds: So pretty!!

Landon C.: That hair is looking stunning

Ashlyn P: Man that price makes me appreciate my long hair more
