So today, I'm here to talk to you guys about hair extensions. I do know that my hair is significantly longer than what it was three weeks ago, and so I just kind of wanted to talk it over. I know that a few of you noticed when I got extensions and I did mention it on Instagram. Like a few weeks ago, I decided that I wanted long hair. As you guys remember, back in 2014, in the fall around my birthday, I decided to cut my hair, like really really short, won't, maybe like instead of pictures, and I sat and it hasn't gone back since I think I'd cut it again that December and I cut It even shorter and although 2015 I've been trying to grow my hair out and it hasn't grown back and I do use a hair straightener very, very often as well - it's a curling iron. So, that's probably why my hair hasn't grown back, but I decided you know what I'm sick of waiting for my hair to grow back. So I just decided you know. I just want hair extensions and I've been wanting hair extensions for ever ever since I was in high school. I keep telling my friends like I'm gon na get hair extensions and I never do because it's super expensive. So while I was doing research for hair extensions, I want kind of wanted something that was you know it expensive, but still looked fairly realistic and still provided a lot of fullness. So my hair is see if I can find something up. This is the first layer see my hair is actually this long yeah this long and then everything else here is just extensions and I'll probably show you guys what the back looks like um. This is what it looks like in the back. So it's fairly long. It'S uh, it's pretty, I mean I just blend really really well and the lady was able to dye my hair to match the extensions. So that was awesome. So if you guys are familiar with hair extensions, there's quite a few different kinds of hair extensions. There'S the gluon type, there's the eye tip um, hair extensions that are like little that are little strands of hair that are attached with the little microbeads and then there's the you tip kind. That is like literally pieces of glue that they glue on to your hair, and then they roll up like into a ball and then put in your hair, and those are also like little strands of hair as well. Um. All of those were really expensive. Well, the glue and kind. I wasn't too fond at the idea of having like glue in my hair that was just kind of freaky to me. I actually have a lot of hair, but just the fact that there's gon na be glue in my hair and then it was gon na possibly rip some of my hair out. If it wasn't done correctly, really freaked me out. So it's like you know, I'm not even gon na look into the glues, I'm not even gon na see how much it is, I'm just not going to even go there so then for the tip. I bet the kind that I really wanted to do. The ones that are attached with the micro bead um was the little beads to your hair. That'S the kind that I really really wanted to do, just because I heard that it was the least damaging, but it was just so expensive, like each individual pack of hair that they sold has like 40 strands, and it was like 80 bucks for like good quality Hair, I need it blank or to five of those packs, so I was going to spend like 80. What is 80 times 5. I don't know it's like a ridiculously amount, plus the hairdresser was going to charge me like another 300 to put them in my hair. So that was just like no I'm not going to spend that much money on hair extensions. That'S just ridiculous! That'S way too much money um! Then there was the you tip kind that I heard was really good too, but that is also kind of like little balls of blue that they put into your hair, and I heard that with that one I mean I haven't in my hair, but I I was Doing some research - and I heard that those types of extensions kind of caused - a lot of knots in your hair. So again I mean that's just what I've heard I haven't had them in my hair personally, so I would just recommend doing a lot of research so to make a long story short. None of those hair extensions seems to draw my attention so doing some research. I found, I think, was watching YouTube videos about hair extensions. I got pretty pretty obsessed um. I found something called micro, beaded weft extensions. So basically, what they do is they grab like a weft of hair, so it's kind of like a curtain of hair and they attach that to your scalp with little microbeads. So it's kind of like using the same method as the eye tips, but it's like not as time consuming because they're, not literally attaching you know strand by strand of hair, it's like an actual wet. So it's a long kind of curtain of hair. So it's faster. It doesn't take as much time so the you know the hairdresser doesn't charge as much for it. So I was talking to my coworker about it and she actually um had recommended me to her hairstylist um in Chino in California, and I went to go check her out and she called me a really good price um and I was like you know what that's A great deal so then I made an appointment with her. I asked her. You know where she produced her hair from she also told me where she purchased the hair from I asked her what hair brand I should have purchased. I just kind of went to the store and got I got whatever I thought was best and I just purchased the color hair that I wanted for my hair. So anyway, I ended up purchasing a brand called velvet. It comes in like a purple pack and it felt super soft. When I first got it. I got 16 inches worth of hair human hair hundred percent human hair, it's kind of awkward to say, like I'm purchasing human hair, but anyway I did get the hair and um I mean it's been pretty good, I'm not too much of an expert when it comes To hair sanctions, I do wash this hair and I do like sleep with it and all that stuff. I mean it literally attached to my hair. I think guys what I can show you guys. You know what each track looks like um, but yeah. It kind of just went in there and she just um dyed my hair first and then she she kind of send it out a little bit and then she started installing the B hair extensions and she started to track a attaching track by track and then I'll. Let'S show you guys, I have, I don't know how many tracks I have. I just use one pack of hair I kind of wish. I would find another one for the front because I kind of feel like it's not as cool as I would want it in the front. But that's the only thing that I can think of in terms of like negative things to say my. But my hair is really thick, so I think one pack would do for people that have you know thin medium to thin, hair, mine's kind of like on the thicker side. So that's why I kind of wanted a second pack, but I mean even even with just one pack I feel like it's still friends blends pretty well, so let me just kind of show you guys um, I'm not sure how many tracks I have. I have one two: I have six tracks all on the back of my head and then I have two tracks on the front side. So again, I kind of wish it had like an extra track, like maybe three tracks in the front instead of just two and I keep saying I'm going to show you guys what the track looks like but keep getting distracted so there you have it. Actually. That'S two tracks, so this again my hair has grown out, but that's one track so just attach to the bottom and it's kind of again growing out. So it's not as close to my scalp as it was the first time um three weeks ago. Hopefully, you guys saw like the little individual beads that were attached to the track um. Overall, I really really liked my hair extensions, because I need I have long hair again, I haven't had long hair since high school, so it's like the dream come true for me. Just because I've been wanting long hair for over a year now, ever since I cut my hair, I regret it instantly a couple of things to keep in mind is I do not wash my hair every single day I wash my hair every other day or every Two days and I don't use any dry shampoo or anything like that, I feel like I don't need to, because since I have the hair extensions in, I feel like my hair doesn't get oily at all. Like I don't know if it's, because all my oils are going on to the hair extensions or what's going on, but I feel like my hair doesn't get oily um and you can touch your scalp. I know a concern for me. Getting these hair extensions was. Oh. My gosh will I be able to put my hair into a ponytail and the question. The answer to that question is: yes, you can. You can do like a medium sized ponytail and I'll kind of show you guys this or you can even put them up really high and can't see the tracks back here. You can't really see them because the beats are the same color as my hair and the tracks well they're the same color as my hair um. So that's awesome. That was just a big worry of mine that I was like. Oh, my gosh, am I going to be able to put it up because since it is like a weft of hair, it's long curtain of hair? I was scared that you know I wasn't gon na be able to do that, but it's pretty um pretty manageable. You can't do it the first few days, because the wax are literally attached. Super super close to your scalp, so it's like it kind of feels tender. My hairdresser told me that it was gon na be really painful that a lot of her clients complained. But I know if they're really like tender or you're like to touch on your head or your scalp. But for me, like, I, don't even feel them on my hair once you put them in. I was like what like what is this like. I don't even feel anything. She did say that it might be it comfortable to sleep, but when you go to bed you honestly can't even feel the tracks, and I have had them in for three weeks, so I mean the first few days like yeah. You can kind of feel it, but it's honestly not like super bumpy, like you like, you would think you know what I mean it's just it's very flat and if you can't you can't hardly feel it like. It'S awesome guys. They trust me it's so so cool. But overall I really love the fact that I have long hair and I'm still debating over whether the fact, if I'm going to get them taken out at the end of the month or if I'm gon na get them just like put back up to the actual Scalp um or I don't know, I don't know what I'm gon na do. Hopefully you guys enjoyed this video. If you guys have any questions, please let me know. I know that i was super concerned when i was putting them in or when i was about to put them in, and hopefully this video was helpful in any way performs and yeah, I believe, actually the address and the hairdresser that did my hair and see in The description box, if you guys, are interested in maybe contacting her she's awesome, her name is Amber and she she totally did a great job on my hair. Hopefully you guys enjoyed this video and I'll talk to you guys later.

KAZ411: I have hand tied sewn in wefts and love them! I guess theyre similar to beaded, or natural bead rows. Weft bundles are more affordable than I- tip too and theyre not super expensive to put in, about $150. I get them adjusted every 8 to 10 weeks. The wefts can be a bit bulky so you need to see what works. I need wavy hair and not everyone sells wavy wefts, Ive been on all sorts of web sites. Glam Seamless sells wavy wefts but I do not know if theyre good quality. I find Sunny's Hair here in Mesa sells decent wavy Indian wefts, $198 for a bundle and I use about 3/4 of it on initial install. I do feel them in my hair but you get used to it. You have to be mindful when you brush- I actually hold my wefts down and actually use a detangler brush and brush gently. I use detangler spray too and a leave in conditioner. I wash about every 3 days and mornings I dont wash I wet them a little and spray detangler. I have 3 weft rows that go all the way around but I may have my hairdresser put another weft in. Extensions shed like regular hair does so you have to be mindful of that. The less you wash and brush the longer they will last. I use hot rollers, extensions curl great with them, no flat iron as I am wavy. I sleep with hair in pony tail. My hair rarely tangles, most Remy hair shouldnt. My sister has tape-ins, cheap ones off Amazon, and she has had wefts come out and its just a pain removing the gluey stuff every 8 or 10 wks. So no tape- ins for me. Sewn in wefts work well for me.

Roy: You look amazing! Love the makeup Lots of love to you, Kelvin and Liam. That little boy is an angel! Send more vlogs our way x

lulzime86: Hey! I found your video while trying to find a good hair company for my micro bead extensions! I've never had them done before & I'm nervous that it'll be crap hair. I live on the east coast so i'll try to Google the hair company. How long did you leave your extensions in? How was the removal peocess? What kinds of hair shampoos and products?

Kyle Michael: The brand is Outre and that line they have is Velvet Remi. If you have fine hair, stray from yaki but if you want some textured hair then yaki is really good, European Bodywave or Silky Straight is best for finer hair. Bobbi Boss -Soft Silky Straight's also really good.

Bohisa Ibrahim: Hello Sharon :) How do you wash brush and style your hair? I just had them installed yesterday and im worried about how i will wash it and how it will look unstyled.

Rachel Hunka: Heyy! I have extensions in my hair like these! I got them about 3 months ago and will be getting them out in about another 3/4 months! I have thick hair naturally, but oh my god I'm terrified this is going to ruin my hair, make it thin and god forbid, get patchy hair!! (I'm also 17 so I do not know if that makes my hair stronger or anything, hahaha) Do you have any advice or products to help with hair thinning? or do you have any tips or experience you can tell me? I don't think my hair is thinning but I'm so scared it will :( But like I said I'm not going to be keeping them in for much longer I am going to take a break!

Alyssa Perez: How do you wash and dry your hair with these?

Isabella: Could you put this in a pineapple bun or would the tracks show?

Isabel Styles: Omg i want some!! Im having a hard time getting it to grow! How ever the mask im doing has been growing it

Karina Gonzalez: I had these and I loved them I actually thought they were comfortable

Key: Perfect!!!

Bethanie McKinley: I'm about to get extensions its 250 for 1 boundle I'm getting 2 boundles so 500 and it will be 20" bc blonde cost more but my mindset is u get what u pay for

Maritza Díaz: How do you wash & brush your hair ? I'm getting mines done this Friday & im already double thinking it

kuttnup250a: Did u have any damage from this type of extension?

WittigRavn: Great video! It helped me alot ☺

Felix A. McNeill: So pretty

Annie Lee: Love the helpful video

nihan unal: How many grams did you get installed?:)

openyourmouthwhore andtakeit: 0:51 When you straighten and curl your hair you should've used protection spray so your hair doesnt get damaged, that's why it probably didn't grow, plus when you keep cutting your hair short it's not gonna magically grow 22" long It takes YEARS, like over 4 years to get long hair, depends on how you take care of it and what you eat + drink.

Cruisinn Avalos: I had them but they get so itchy :(

Nohemi Ramirez: Looks ok but short hair looks really good on you!!!! ☺️

Tyra B: Research youtube vids you can make your own, buy products on Amazon for install

Cynthia Lopez: The music is distracting. I couldn’t watch your video. I would’ve loved to.

Jonford playz: Hi Sharon! I'm just wondering where did you get those pillow cases lol and I have the same bed frame ☺️ oh I love your hair even their shorter it fits on you!

Isamar: I've noticed you don't have them anymore :( I just would like to know why because I would love to get some but am very nervous.

single mom cooking channel: wow super

Lucely Santana: when you wash your hair does it's hard to untangle?

Amber Diaz: How much did u pay for the extensions and then to have them installed?

sm4angelic: Can you put your hair in a half up at all? It's not a huge deal but I was jw! Thanks :)

Lucely Santana: does it damage the hair?

Joey Matacsil: microweft is better than tapes i use to go hairdresser to reinstall i learn to install my extention myself so much better safe alot of money :) i can do it :) better and safer with right tools

S. D.: I've been doing this method for about 10 years. You can do it yourself and save a ton of money.

Melinda Maria: How much did it cost you?

🐚: Ok beads out.. lol

Rosy Singh: How long did they hurt after u got them done

Isabel Styles: Blouse? Or dress?? Where did ya get it
