Sew-In 101: Easy Way To Properly Sew In Weave/Extensions Yourself (My Way) Tutorial

I received a question on one of my videos. I couldn't explain the answer to the question in words, it would have been to complex. So here is the response to the viewers.

Here is how I sew a weft on my braids. This is NOT a braiding pattern (lol duh), it's just a single braid I braided for the tutorial!

Okay, so I got a question in my inbox on how to properly so how to properly so and how not to sell through the tracks on one of my videos and today, I'm going to show you how to properly do that. So this is my braid and it's only for instructional purposes. Only so ignore it. It'S not neat! It'S big and bulky. Remember if you want a flawless sowing, you have to make sure that your braids are follows as well, so make sure you find a unique pattern that is going to help you achieve the look that you're going for um and if your braids suck, then you might Want to have sucky race and user net-net basically helps with um sucky braids. So right here I have hair that is a year old and I just want to really show you. The the wefts really quick. The web's are still good and neat nice to meet webs, and that's only because I did not sew through the tracks. So this right here is a year old, hair you see year old and the west's are still me. The West Construction is still me, and that's only because I did not sell two tracks today, I'm going to show you how to properly sum, so what you want to do is threaten your needle thread, your needle, and do not nada at the end. Okay. So it's not not anything okay. So let's begin first things. First, remember: you're not going to sew through the track you're going to go underneath the track, so I'm going to go underneath the track, pull that through oops I'm going to go underneath the track and pull that through, like so going to go through there and loop. It around twice that's going to create a night people so now that is attached to your braid, okay, so the next thing you're going to do is go underneath the track through your braids, like so loop, it again like so okay and you're, going to continue to Do that through the whole entire track, but you're going to be much neater and you're going to slow, slowly so or quickly? I know people who can do this really quick but you're going to be much neater than how this looks. Okay and you're going underneath the track you're not going through the track. If you go through your trip, then you're going to create shedding okay, so I think that's enough demonstrating that part so say, for instance you're at the imagery web. Normally I don't cut my webs. I just continue to so so so so say. For instance, this is your last track and you want to now create a knot doing this like that. That'S a no-no, cuz you're gon na have a big bulky, not in your song, so you don't want that. So I'm going to show you how to end your sewing you're going to stick your needle underneath your track and you're going to loop, two or three times like so okay, and that created a knot and I'm going to just do that one more time. So you can actually see. I did that so it through one, two, three pull through and now that's attached. That'S attached! Okay, that's attached! You pull as hard as you want to. It is attached. Okay and the reason why I like someone like this, because it's also easy to remove as well all you have to do is just take your scissors and cut along the lines. If you cut along the lines that you create it. Well, those not you create. It is easy to remove okay, easy removal. Okay, so I hope that helped um, that if you are out there who asked that question, it's really really easy. Once you get the hang of it. Practice makes perfect. So if you can go out, buy you a a cheap wig or if you have a wig laying around usually this is the whole wig that I will be bringing back to life. You will see me do a video and bringing this way back to life um, and I got that head from Sally's. It'S just part lights, two or three dollars. So I hope that helps you um happy sewing and thanks for watching bye,

CmoreLeaux: Hi. Just remember if your using virgin hair to always seal your wefts. With any hair be sure to NEVER split/cut the track especially if you want to prevent additional shedding. And don't sew threw the wefts. And remember your foundation (braid pattern) is just as important as sewing to the longevity of your install! Good luck this semester!
