Three ways to air ponytail with hair extensions, the sleek ponytail. The first step is to create a high ponytail at the back of your head, using only a small portion of your hair. This will act as a secure base for your ponytail, to which you'll be clipping. In your hair, extensions, take a three clip left of your extension and start clipping it in around the ponytail continue placing left on top of each other in the same way and use as many as you need to get the hair thickness that you want Lexie. Hair extension clips are super easy to clip in and they will stay securely in your hair gather. All your hair into a high ponytail run your hands through hair to make sure that there are no bumps. The hair on top of my head is too thin for my hair on the ends and I can't have my hair in pony tails because it pulls the hair on top of my head and gives me headaches, and my ponytail just falls out. Trina R. Brown: I have used a whole bunch of extension brands in the past but I tried ZALA hair extensions after a colleague recommended them. I honestly love them! I used to only wear my extensions for special events because they would be easily damaged by my ZALA set I wear all the time and the quality is incredible. I also use their tangle teaser brush to make sure they stay silky and I have found this really helps prevent any damage or hair snagging
