Hi guys welcome to my channel. My name is vanilla and in this video I'm doing a prawns and cons and a review on tape on hair extensions, and I will be honest and now I will show you the ugly truth, with some pretty nasty photos of what happens with having those staple and Extensions on for a couple of months, so, if you'd like to see that then keep on watching my first Pro is that you instantly will have a fullness and length within your hair. My next Pro is it's a fast installation. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get the tip ons extensions on your hair. I also think it's little cheaper to get tape on extensions versus other methods of extensions due to the quick timing of installing the extensions another Pro is, you can actually do them yourself at home, which is a huge Pro for me, because I'm, my mother, I have Children and me getting an appointment and baby sitters, it's pain. I did try putting these extensions on myself, why I didn't feel it was really hard for me to get back over here so having a friend or someone who is willing to help you with them. It'S actually possible to get these people on extensions done and comfort of your own home. Another great role for these tape. Long extensions - is that they are reusable that oSIsoft extensions. I did not put back into my hair when you take them off the hair extensions. Don'T get damaged when I remove they're still all intact together, so you can just change the tape and reuse them now the process, my tip one extensions, did not fall off anytime during the two months of period 9 weeks to be accessed exact while they were in My hair, that was my big fear that sometimes I'll be out somewhere, and I notice my hair falling off, which would have been very embarrassing. Another Pro is that you can actually remove these extensions by yourself at home. All you need is a spray which I will leave a picture of what it looks like, and I will also leave all information in the description box where you can get it. It'S kind of alcohol based spray, so just spray it right on tip right on top where the extension is located. You just spray your idea and it will immediately breaks off the glue and you can just pull the extension out, which I will short quick video of how I have done it. It'S really really easy, but there's a huge con off. They take that extensions off and I will be in my con list now the pros that you can actually wash and shampoo and style your hair normally as you did before, and you can create pretty much any style you did before as well. One recommendation, I would say, don't put the tapes too close to the face, which I didn't this time. This is why I have strong extensions, because these ones were the ones ever closer to my face, and I didn't add them on here. So most of my extensions are in the back of my hand, therefore gives me more flexibility to pull my hair up and do any estas I did before as well. Now, let's talk about the cons. One of the cons is that your hair will feel a little bit heavier than it felt before is just common sense and normal, and it would happen with any extensions you put in now. The con is the tape extensions that slide a little bit, which I have noticed. I will add a foot over here so see the glue, still sticking above the tape, so I'm assuming the sliding occurred while me pulling on my hair by tying it back a ponytail or making a really tight ponytail or for whatever reason they did slide down a Little bit, the tape on extensions will be more visible. After a few weeks, once your hair grows a little bit and the tracks the tapes are lowered. They are more visible than before when you just had them done and closer to a scope. Now big con is that your roots will start freezing, which is um. Your hair gets frizzy in the area where you're not able to brush it any further, and especially when the tapes slide a little bit. You have the glue above your hair and all the area will start freezing, and I have a couple frizz balls on back on my head that I've noticed after I've removed my extensions, and that was a big comment. It was pretty bad and the biggest con of having hit here tape on your extensions. It'S removing the glue off of your hair, so which I mean by that is after you remove the extensions out you just spray it you pull them out and you think you're done no you're. Not! You will have a lot of excess glue left on your hair. That you'll have to gently pull out the way you will do it using a little comb and just gently taking it out and it's very time consuming. It can be painful. Now the carnist, you will lose some hair by doing that process you you will get some hair breakage too soit's this damaging process, removing the knots, the giant's very, very painful and very time-consuming. So this is my list of pros and cons of having tape. One hair extensions, so just a quick overview. I love the instant volume. I love the length of the hair. I love the way it looks. I love how quick it's being done. It takes about less than half an hour to get the extensions in versus many other extension styles, but you have to sit in a chair for hours and I can't do that. I get very impatient. I love that I can remove myself and I might get sick of them, so those are all the pros and the cons. Obviously the aftermath after you remove the extensions. Your hair will be a big mess and you will need hours of fixing all of that solid electronic cons. Obviously, the pros have operated my cons because I did go ahead and add my added my extensions back and because I do enjoy the fullness and the length of the hair, and I do want to keep that for us to this summer. Probably at the time I will remove them and give my hair a break. I hope this video was useful for you, if you're thinking about getting tip phone extensions, if you have any questions about cerements, feel free to leave me a comment down below I'll, be happy to answer any questions open joy. This video and I'll see you in my next one bye for now.

Look Gorgeous: At 5.28 I realized how beautifully you apply your lipstick And ur top is just so cute Definitely the video is useful

Look Gorgeous: I love watching the beautiful YOU

Look Gorgeous: And seriously u r looking extra extra beautiful today I love the eye makeup

Look Gorgeous: I have such clip on hair extension flicks colored ones No cons at all Clip on is real easy thing

Look Gorgeous: Ur natural hair os looking absolutely gorgeous

Peg Botham: Hi Lovey, just saw your video today, may I make a suggestion to you and others suffering damage removing your tape ins at home. Use the glue remover to help lift the tapes away from each other then to remove the residue glue left in your hair use either almond oil, coconut oil, lavender oil etc. I took mine out the other day and of course there was residue and some of the glue tapes left in. I just gently warmed my almond oil and massaged it into my hair fully coating the glue areas. Along with aiding to remove it also gives a treatment to the hair.

Lpg 8: Very good review. I got them and loved them, but my head is too sensitive and I took them off after 4 days :) I use something called C-22 Solvent which is an orange citrus oil. It removes the tape-ins very easy and also removed the glue easily, just FYI.

Shelby Tygart: First off tape extensions should be put in professionally and if you do not take care of your tape extensions they are not going to last. You have to use products that are sulfate free you cannot put conditioner on your tape and extensions you can't sleep with your hair wet you have to make sure you dry it and straighten it if that's the look you're going for right when you get out of the shower. You have to braid it at night you're here and sleep on a satin pillow. So it's tape an extensions are awesome they can last at to a year if you buy a good quality ones and every 10 weeks you have to get them retaped. The cons are I don't know I don't see any cons this just you have to manage your hair like you would your natural hair. and hair falls out all the time people have to understand you're not losing your hair due to tape an extensions because there's no way they can damage your hair.

Ecdreamz: What an amazing informative video.

Abi: You use a spray designed to remove the glue which lifts the tapes, you also use the spray on your hair as well which removes the excess glue if there is any. You can do them yourself if you know what you’re doing :) installing in - taking them out

Crystal: I’ve been wearing tape-ins for 3 years now & doing them myself for 2 years. Really the only con I would say with tape-ins, is the process of removing & putting them back in. That is time consuming. Gently shampooing & conditioning in the shower, not brushing your hair while it’s wet & braiding your hair instead of putting it in ponytails, will prevent it from doing a lot of that mess she mentioned. I don’t put my hair up in ponytails until they start growing out & it’s a gentle bun.

Marianita Bustos: I have so much hair I can't imagine how heavy my head would feel if I got extensions haha You look amazing here Sanela!! <3

Pippa Boyd: I found sweating helps them come out really easily, I work out a lot and mine do not stay in long at all. Also extremely heavy if you have quite a lot of hair already can feel very weighty. Do look nice though for a while.

iambrik monica: I also wear tape ins and i never had problems after removing them, i use the remover from rapunzel of Sweden if you are interested. And I never leave them more than 5-6 weeks. I have really thin hair and tape ins are the only ones that didn't damage my hair .

Look Gorgeous: Love the way u explained pros and cons in detail so beautifully in such a short time And video editing was amazing

justyna maria: This was very informative! Thank u!! Just a question though, can you dye/bleach the extensions?

Meeky: You are removing them wrong. Never slide the track down to remove,You meet to peel it off like a sticker! And make sure you are holding your hair at the roots to avoid pulling out hair. Also you need to comb your hair every day to avoid tangles that will be hard to remove ,if you wait until removal. You should only keep them in for 6-7 weeks 9 is too long. Enjoyed the video and hope the tips help!❤️

Miss Motive’s: Thank you the best video about tape hair extensions. Really helpful

Ray Wynn: You can do it yourself but I don’t think anyone should. If you can go to a hair salon and get it done by someone who knows what they are doing, there are no cons besides the price and it needs maintenance more often but... you get to use the hair longer than other types, because you don’t lose length, meaning you save money not having to buy new hair all the time. I’ve been wearing hair extensions for years and I’ve tried every technique in the market, tape-in is the best for a lot of reasons.

Tria Robinson: No no no. Because I use oils in my hair, my tape in normally loosen and easily come out around 4-6 weeks later anyway. I don’t add anything special to remove them. But I guess it depends on hair type

Djurdjina Gavrancic: thank you, very honest recension ! ❤

Valerie McAdams: PLEASE don't remove the glue by only combing it out! Apply a nourishing hair oil blend to further weaken the bonds of the adhesive. This will need to be done anyway because the removal sprays are all alcohol-based. Alcohol can be very drying to hair & skin, but it can also be a delivery method for other products because it allows deep penetration of those nourishing elements now that the alcohol has stripped the oils away (though that method is not usually done with the strength of alcohol used in extension removal). You can get a specific oil made just for hair or you can apply virgin coconut oil, avocado oil, sweet almond, meadowfoam seed, jojoba, or sesame. After applying the oil to each section where the adhesive was in contact with the hair as each extension is removed, comb through that section. Then, when you're done removing, oiling, and combing through the individual sections, brush all your hair and apply a vitamin E rich oil blend to all of your hair and let it sit for 30min to an hour, preferably with a shower cap on to retain the heat for further benefit. It's normal to see hair come out with the glue, but that's the normal shedding that would've fallen out had it not been held by the adhesive. However, if you're relying only on the pulling of a comb to remove the adhesive, you're breaking, damaging, and pulling out otherwise healthy hair that wouldn't have fallen out if treated with care. I wish you luck and healthy hair!

carla crawford: Great review thank you!!

tatiana kralovic: ..that's why you should spend extra money and go to professional to do your hair extensions, installation and also removal. Its good to go for removal after 4-6 !!! weeks to avoid most of your problems you mentioned in video - hair knots and glue in hair. And it should be absolutely PAINLESS!

Louise Beech: I am so lucky because my fiance does mine for me. He does a brilliant job aswell, better than the hairdresser who charged me £200! I love having my own personal stylist, he's sexy too!

Curious Cupcake: Thank you sooo much!!! ❤

shelby: Thanks this helped me decide

Caprice White: 1. all you need to remove them is rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle ($2) which is all the "removal solution" actually is, just overpriced and the same thing. 2. You ONLY should keep tape in extensions in for 3-6 weeks. 6 weeks MAX or you get knotting and matting etc. 3. Get them installed by a professional and you won't have all the issues. 4. When you wash your full head of hair with tape in extensions you need to make sure you immediately dry the bonds so the glue in the tape in portion does not have the opportunity to get and stay damp and start slipping.

Stars for Night Lights: My stylist took 5 hours to install and cut my hair and charged me $300. And, I can't wear my hair up with the way she put them in. Huge bummer since I was too so excited to get them. ☹️

LouraQ8: I think the sliding and remaining glue is because of the quality of the tapes.

Eli4shawt: I just installed a full head of i tips myself and Cut them myself and they look great but next time I’m looking for a different meathod because I don’t like sleeping on them

Starsigngirl: Really helpful xxxx I had tape ones put in for the first time 3 months ago xxxx ovb theyve grown out and I had to remove them cause were all in lockdown defiantly going to have them again especially after your video there's defo more prons xxx hate the glue bit though lol xxxxx lots of love your a beauty

Tabitha Mccauley: You do them yourself or get someone else that's not trained. You pull on your extensions doing tight hairstyles(which damages hair with no extensions) You don't get them taken out professionally......so of course you are going to have these negatives. Thus isn't because if tape is, this is because you are doing it yourself!

Vanja's Vegan Voyage: You are so beautiful!!!! I want Hair Extentions toooooooo!!!!

Ku Eh: Love you video ❤️❤️❤️you look so pretty

Wendy Lynch: Sounds like you didn’t look after them once you had them in. Your own fault

Lee Francis: i had weft nano rings and a lot of my hair has fallen out, the rings rub against your hair and make it weak at the root.

linafelina: Reasons why u should get them professionally done and remove

Lilibet: OMG why are you telling people to pull the extensions and glue out of their hair!!!!!!!!! You are supposed to use a specific oil for this to ensure you do not ruin your real hair!!! Hair extensions should be moved up every 6 to 8 weeks depending on your hair growth!!! Also if your real hair is matting near the root try looking after it properly!!! The only ugly truth about this video is the bad advice you are giving to people!!!

Jennifer Acevedo: You look so beautiful

Jessica Hurley: Try micro bead extensions, no glue, no mess.

Veronica Rodriguez: 4:44 is a FACTTT

Lyndsay Mcneill: This is only due to you leaving in too long

Blue butterfly: Subscribed...... Soooooo beautifulll u r

Adrhea Blicruz: Its really good at first but it can damage your hair..lots of hair fall..

Ana Rivera: I´d love to have extentions but they´re super expensive here and also I don´t ever go out so there´s just no point in guetting them I guess lol, you look soooo pretty sanela! Love your look today =)

Hind Ghazal: You’re supposed to go to the hairdressers and get them done professionally not do it yourself for the tape hair extensions

NightOwl 111:

minreah marinic:

Vojo Vojo: Tape in extensions are not for everyone, you need to take care of extensions as well as your natural hair, it is not just to put extensions on head and thinking thats it, noooo!! After care is important as well as quality of apply, so girl you look like someone who dont take care of hygiene , and thats the only reason you have bad expirience with tape in

A person who has a Google account: Baby oil works the best for me and it's cheap

Joshua XOXO: Clip ins are way better

A Faas: Because you use alcohol instead off oil base the glue dont come off I dont have Any cons off your list Maybe other change off products will help extensions shampoo is a no no baby shampoo

Gail Schnitzer: The tape extensions fall out ...the tape is never strong ..the glue on them is not strong at all....the beaded ones hurt your head....they come out too when you brush your hair.. .the clip ins work but you need good clips....the clips aren't that great either.... But the beaded extensions and the tape extensions both of them fall out ....that's just my opinion on what I have observed

Cris Xiong: Ok not buying these type of extensions

elaine sagastizado: can you go swimming and not get damaged hair?

Loving life with Larrah: Tape in extensions shouldn’t be worn for 9 weeks. That’s why you had the big knots in the back. It could have happened because there was looped weirdly in application

Natasha Sobieski: Honey u cannot have tape in extensions 9 weeks on your head. You just cannot. I aways remove my maximal after 1 month of wear nd have no issues.

kanika Johnson: iv got clips on my tape ins

S. D.: Tape-in destroyed my hair as well! I had no hair left after i took them out.

S Wilson: Warm the tape with a hairdryer and they slide out easily. Them massage baby oil into the roots. Leave it on for an hour and comb the roots. Glue slides off. Then shampoo. Easy peasy. I use these extensions for months at a time. No damage. No problems. Love them

Jamie: Left them in too long hun.

Luisa Contreras: Cons are mainly not true lol I have been using tape ins for years and the reason why you have those issues is because you do not get them professionally installed or removed. I’ve neverrrrr had these issues lol ide rather pay a little more to get the service than lose my hair

Anabel and Ralph: To remove that glue, use WD40 straight on the glue thats left on your hair. Didnt have to yank a bunch of hair after hehe

Chococat Vega: Wear a wig

Lets fly away: They were probably sliding because your roots are incredibly greasy. I don’t know how often you wash your hair but common sense is oils break down glue and tape. I don’t mean this in a rude way but how can you go out in public with that greasy of hair let alone stand it on your head? Not healthy or clean ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️you are too beautiful to be walking around with that!

Leighann McGowan: I would never get extensions ..I read about how Jennifer Aniston said hair extensions almost destroyed my hair ..and she has access to the best celebrity hairstylists in the world ....hell no I dont want fake hair lol ...
