All right, you guys, so today's video is going to be a blogging video, we're going to be doing a full highlight on my client right here. As you can see, she has a little bit of regrowth she's about a level five six. Naturally, she is pretty dark and we're going to get her all blonde again, and then we are going to be adding one bag of extensions for fullness. Thanks for the close ups, so you're going to start by highlighting in the back, we are using joy, cope long life with 20 volume. I do have about 1/16 ounce of olaplex. In my mixture I like to add olaplex into all of my Leitner's, to keep my blondes healthy, but I never do more than that amount, because if you do too much olaplex it can dilute your product a little bit and it can slow down your processing time. So in the back I have three sections two on each side and then I had an upside down triangle in the back of the head that we worked on after those two sides and the back we're done. And now we are at the front of the head and we are going to be doing some baby lights around the face, so you guys have seen before where I've done slices around the face. My client here does like to be pretty blonde, pretty Ashley pretty bright, but I do it a little bit differently for her because she does have a darker natural level. So if my clients have a level seven or eight, naturally, I do slices, but if they have a little bit of a darker tone for their natural color, I just do really tiny baby lights because I feel like they do lift a little bit better. If you do straight slices on here, that's too dark. Sometimes it can just look a little bit too yellow or too orange and it doesn't lift the right way so for her, I'm just doing really packed baby lights. You can see how tiny my sections are and I'm just working on an angle up her head right here and then once we get towards the top of this section, we're going to implement a few more slices for money pieces and that's where I will do slices Because I do you want the money pieces to stand out a little more, I'm just not doing slices around the entire hairline. So, as you can see here, we're just continuing those baby lights up and then we're going to be working on that money piece in just a second. So how I typically like to do my money pieces as I do two slices back-to-back and then implement baby lights, but it blends. So this is going to be my first slice right here, I'm just taking my lighten airbrushing it down. As you can see, it's a very thin section, you always want to make sure when slicing that your section is not too thick or too chunky, because then it won't lift correctly. So that was my first slice. This is my second one. You can see that I'm kind of pulling the rest of the hair away, doing a slice, and then, after this we're just gon na, do baby lights. We'Re gon na do the baby lights really close together, especially right above the slices, so that it all blends well and then, as I work my way towards the top of the head I'll space out, my sectioning a little bit more so that it's not as tightly Packed in there so that the baby lights stand out around the face, so I was working on an angle towards the top of the head, and now I am meeting up here in the center. Like I had mentioned before, I do start my baby lights. A little more spaced out as I work towards the top of the head and the reason being is. I did notice that in the past I like still packed these baby lights in so tight, and then it ended up being a little bit too blonde right here. In the crown of the head, so I feel like it looks a little more natural if you space your foils out and have them tighter, packed around the face where it should be brighter. [ Applause, ], [, Applause, ], all right. So now we were at the bowl, as you can see she lifted beautifully. So I am just combing her out with my blending comb and then we are going to be giving her a slight root tap. She doesn't want a root - that's too defined because she does like to be pretty blonde all the way up. So I am going to be using red, Conchita q8n 8na, and this is just gon na blur the line a little bit. It'S gon na help. It look a little more natural and the grow out is going to be really seamless and it's gon na give her less maintenance over time, but she's still gon na feel really bright and blonde and beautiful. So I am just going up the back of the head. Doing this, I'm just doing a slight tap, I'm not dragging it down too far, and then we will comb it through and let it process about seven to ten minutes. [ Applause, ], [ Applause ] this. I always leave those slices for last just so that they stay really bright and, as you can see, I'm just gently tapping so that I don't drag the product down too far and then I will comb through with the rest of it. How you do your money pieces is up to you. You don't have to tap them at all. If you want them to stand out a ton or you can wait till the last minute and tap them here, I did tap them just slightly so that it they blend in really well with the rest of the hair. But you can see that the rest of her hairline pulled so well, so I actually didn't tap those pieces at all: [ Applause, ]. Okay. So now we are installing one bag of sixteen inch tape and extensions. This is the color sky, vanilla, frosting, from my extension line. It'S a perfect match for her hair color. It looks so so good, so I wanted to go over how I like to place extensions when they are just doing one bag for fullness. I tell all of my clients that if they are wanting tape, ins for length and fullness, it's a requirement of two bags, but they could need. Two could need. Three could even need four depending on their hair type, but if they are just doing fullness and maybe an inch or two of length, then one bag is totally fine. So that's what we're doing here and I like to place it in a horseshoe. So it's almost like I'm parting off for a beaded web and I'm just placing those two pins around that horseshoe. That way she gets fullness around the entire shape of her head, and then we will put a few more in the front just to fill in those areas a little bit more [ Applause, ], [ Applause, ], [ Applause, ], [ Applause, ], [ Applause, ], [ Applause ], all right, you guys. So this is the finished. Look as you can see, she is a bright beautiful blonde and the one bag of tape, ins just helped - add a little bit of fullness into her hair.
