What is up guys welcome back to my channel, I'm alia if you are new here so today I have a really exciting video that I have actually been waiting to film for a really long time that is going to be applying DIY tape in extensions, but for Curly hair, as you can see, my hair is naturally very curly and I actually just cut quite a bit of it recently. The ends were just really fried and stringy, because I've just been styling it a lot and just not taking that great of care of it. It is fairly short now, so I don't like that, as I'm sure most of you have noticed by now, I like to have these super long mermaid hair, and that is not this Sarah, of course this is the DIY broke edition, because I wasn't about to pay $ 600 to get someone to do it for me, so pray pray for me that this turns out. Okay with that being said, I placed this order on Amazon. Was it Amazon yeah? I was a Amazon, so it arrived in a box like this. This is the packaging here, pretty nondescript, it just says easy: youth, 100 % human hair and guarantee - and it's 100 cent or any human hair - and this is what it looks like. The curl pattern is pretty spot-on to my normal hair and the color is almost identical. So I think I am good in that respect and I did get four bundles of hair, which might seem like a lot, but because I have a really blunt haircut right now. It'S going to be harder for me to blend my hair into the extensions, whereas if it was layered, it would just kind of flow a bit better. I'D probably get away with like two or three bundles, but the blunt cut does make it thicker. So I wanted to be safe and get the four bundles, and this should come with a little instruction packet in there and there's actually pictures which is great for double use. Like me, who can't read - and it just tells you about washing instructions, dye instructions, drawing sleeping how to style and swimming so you're, a good girlfriend, your it's pretty basic there's like only four instructions for the tapings and it's pretty self-explanatory, really I'll go into more detail. Obviously, when we switch camera angles and I apply them on camera enough of the rambling, I'm tired of looking like a shih tzu and let's get into the video. So with the tape ins, you will notice that they have this sticky adhesive part here, and this actually peels back on either one and your natural hair is going to go in the middle and they are both going to stick like this, together with your natural hair. In the center - and you want to put these as close to your scalp as you can without it being right at your scalp, because you don't want it to be like pulling so. The next thing you're going to do is section off your hair and you're going to leave about like a two inch gap around your crown line, because if you put your hair up, you don't want the tape ends to be showing. So I'm going to just do that from about here and then work my way around the back, so don't plan on really putting any like up here and actually I wanted to do this with straight hair, so it would be easier to section. But then I read that you're not supposed to wash your hair for 48 hours so that the adhesive has a chance to set, and that would have looked really weird with straight hair and curly extensions. So, as you can see, that's pretty even there and you basically are just going to take a piece of your natural hair. Think about that and you're going to peel off the adhesive. Stick it right on there and you're gon na do the same thing to the second piece, so this piece is going to go on the top, so the two sticky sides are kissing and once you've done, that you can take a straightener and literally just clamp that And that's going to help set it and then you're just going to have something that looks like that. Okay, so, as you can see, this is the final result. It'S definitely quite a bit longer. My natural hair is about to here, and it is down to here - and it's definitely quite a bit fuller as well, which i think is actually good, because I normally do wear it's sort of half up half down like this when it's curly, so the extra volume Will be great for that. My natural curl pattern definitely got screwed up with the application of the extensions and just separating my hair. So much so it isn't matching my extensions perfectly, but I think once I wash it and apply hair product to both my hair and my extensions. I think that it'll look just fine. It definitely could have gotten away with only two bundles, as I still have two left over, and I have quite big hair at this point, but it's always better to have more than less and I can always use the extra ones in the future. That'S all for today guys. I really hope that you found this video useful and, if you enjoyed it, please go ahead and give a thumbs up on your way out. Thank you so much for watching

Alya Amsden: Make sure you are using a very thin piece of hair in between the two tape ins! Otherwise they will not stick together and stay in :)

UsernameMcUsernameson: They look amazing. As a tip (not that you need it, but you may find it makes things easier), you may want to straighten your hair (not the extensions, just your hair) to do this. It makes it much easier to separate the hair into clean sections. Since you have to wait 3 days to wet your hair after applying the extensions, you can just wear a bun until you can get your hair wet and style it to match the extensions. It may seem like a pain in the butt, but it is worth it. I’ve been using tape ins for a few years now, and the cleaner the application is, the longer I can keep them (always keep mine for 6-8 weeks). Having a mirror behind you may also help. :)

Bria A: Wow! I’ve always wanted tape ins for my curly hair but the cost is insane! I didn’t know I could easily do them myself!! How long do you keep them in? And can you reuse them? Also my hair is real dark brown what color did you buy?

Daniela Flores: do u still use them?? they seem really awesome for the price just wanting to know an update and wow you only needed 2 bundles??

wala D S: Beautiful hair! Do these extensions curl back if you straighten them?

Alysha Mitchell: I also have natural curly hair.... the same color as yours I have wanted extentions for a very long time and this looks very easy to apply. How long do they last and can you reuse them? By the way your hair is beautiful!

Ali Macarthur: Have you applied any other heat on these ? I’m looking to order these and wanna know if they are able to be straightened or take heat well.

LuftKuss: Hi! Your video helped me find these extensions because we have the same hair and color but they didn’t come with instructions. I am wondering about swimming, do you have any tips?

fukuro96: They look nice! What color are you using?

Stacie Moore: Hey gorgeous! These look great, are they good quality? xx

Yasmeen I: I noticed that your hair is really long when your hair is straight, do you ever wear clip in straight hair extensions? If so which ones because they look bombbbb

mayapxrez: how long do they last in your hair? can you wash them and put curly hair products on them and they come out the same as before?

solomon henry: Looks great

Hawthorne Ripley: do you know whether they measure the length with the hair strand pulled taut, or is it with it curled? Like is it longer than 22 inches when you stretch it out?

Anna Cruz: How long did the extensions last and did they start getting frizzy after a while??

Angelica Garcia: can you straighten these extensions or will that ruin the curl pattern? Will it curl back up if you straighten and then wash

Maria Gonzalez: Hello have you tried applauding beat to them yet and do you still recommend them?

Kiera Bishop: Do you have to take these out every time you shower?

kate t: what length and color did u get

Tiaja Lee: How did u know how many bundles u were getting
