How To Move Up Tape In Extensions At Home | Halloween Vlog Franceska Garza

Hey guys, it's kind of a random place just start this video, but I'm taking out my hair extensions, and I know that you guys wanted to see it. So I want to show you guys these last two extensions I have in I'm at Brett's apartment. We'Re really just sitting in front of the window, so all I'm gon na do is just grab the one sandwich of hair. Get this hair out of their way, so I've taken out all of them throughout the rest of my hair, except for the last two. I'M gon na get all that out of the way and then in here I just have, I think it's 91 % alcohol and I just put in a spray bottle so just gon na take it. The alcohol makes it not sticky anymore. It'S really weird: it will just slide right out, so I'm just going to take it and spray right at the root on the top of the bottom and then separate the little sandwich. So that was really easy. Both the sides just came out and then to get rid of any tape redness, I just spray more out the route and then have a little comb I'll just brush it through and all the glue and tape will stick on the comb this when it's all out Of my hair, wasn't that so easy I'll just do this last one! Okay! Now all the hens are out, I'm gon na go back through and just comb right at the root, all of my hair, just to make sure that all of the glue and tape is out and then I'm just gon na wash my hair, probably three times with A clarifying shampoo just to make sure that it's really all out I'm gon na spray, like all the tops of these with alcohol, make sure all the tape is off wash them a few times with a clarifying shampoo. Let them air dry overnight style them and put the back end well, show you guys the whole process alrighty. So I have my mirror in front of me. Yeah and I've been doing my hair for the past couple hours. It takes me about two hours because I wear so many packs of hair. Excuse me joy, so I wear about six packs of Maite pants. This is what they look like. I think, there's about ten sandwiches per pack, so I think I have about sixty sandwiches. In my hair, so that's 120 pieces up here like this joy back up, so I had to wash leave something. So that's why it took me so long today and then you just put the tape on chilly, but you just put the tape on like that. I just the tape from Sally's, you got a hairball, you got a furball, you do okay, so the back is already done and I were time working on this side, so you're gon na add one more to this side. So should we put it so I just section off my hair bless you I do the back and then the sides, so this is gon na be the last piece bless you she's, making so much nice, but you lose gon na be the last piece I put On this side, so I just take it and peel off the cover. So it's just the sticky tape. God bless you drooling sneezy, don't cover the camera and I'm just gon na. Take the sticky part and stick it down right at the part. Didn'T press that down make sure it's really firmly on there like that, and then I'm gon na grab the extension and pull it up. So then, when I pull up, some of my hair will stick to it. Let'S get the trace along there, so whatever amount of hair stuck to that tape is what's gon na stick inside the sandwich. So now that's what the sandwich looks like it has a little bit of hair stuck to it. So then, I'm gon na take the next one. Take the covers off, so it's just the sticky tape and place that right on top of it, so without blocking the camera, so I placed it right on top of it, I'm just gon na press it together. So now this is the sandwich up here, so I'm just gon na press them together make sure they're really secure, and now it's secure I'm pulling on it. It'S really secure. So this is all that I have in so far, so I just got to finish this side and then it's done all right, you guys, so my extensions are back and feels really good to have them in so I'm gon na straighten them real, quick just to Blend them with my hair and smooth them out, and then I'm gon na pack, my makeup bag I'll, do that right now. Actually, I think it already is packed. It is argue that, and then I'm gon na do my makeup in the car by do need a red lipstick. So today is Halloween and we me and Brett are gon na go see, Alex and Michael and Julian my parents and then so. Alex'S friends are gon na, be there too the little baby and we're all gon na hang out for Halloween and see the babies, and I need a red lipstick for my costume. So you grab you like all of my Reds. I know I have a really pretty red lipstick, but I don't know who makes it here. It is Kevin a Kwan. It is the most perfect beautiful red lipstick. The formula is amazing: it's called Carly Anna. I love it. I'M gon na bring that and I'm just gon na have to do a mic up in the car, because I don't have enough time. My extensions took a little bit longer than I thought they would. I actually didn't put in as many as I usually do. Usually I'll put in about six packs, I bought seven initially and I still have one left over that I've never used, so I usually put in six packs and then, by the time I it's time to move them up. I have about four packs and click. So many fall out um but anyways today, I probably in about three packs, so I have quite a bit left over and I just found some that I didn't wash yet so I want to wash those and call those rights away. I think I might add a few more packs of extensions like more sandwiches in a couple days when I have some more time, but for now this is like perfect, like I feel like, since my hair is thinner. The thinner extensions look a little bit more natural, not that I'm trying to looking at you, obviously but um yeah. I feel like sometimes that could look kind of cute, but I love having like lots and lots and lots of hair like that's. Why? I wear extensions because I like that look, Oh a lot of hair but yeah. So this is about three packs. I'D say: maybe three and a half so yeah today is okay. So let me kind of backtrack and tell you guys what I do when I take them outside in film that part for you guys. So I showed you how I take them out with the alcohol and literally just spray it, and they come right out. So then, once they're all out, I will take the alcohol and spray the roots of all of the extensions and get all the tape off all the residue, just like anything, sticky I'll get off with the alcohol I'll, even let like the roots, oh because I'm soaked In alcohol just to make sure it all comes off, I'm gon na scrub it off with a paper towel. It slides right off, like it just slides right off. So, like all the tackiness, all the stickiness. All the tape comes right off with alcohol and a paper towel. So it's the easiest thing to do and then I wash them with my shampoo just in the sink I wash and condition all the extensions make sure all of the alcohol is off and then I'll condition them. I won't condition up near the roots, all only condition the ends like middle to ends just to make sure they're, nice and healthy and soft. When I put them back in and then I'll wash my hair then condition it and dry it and make sure that I don't have any product in there so that it sticks really well, and then I will blow-dry all my hair. All my extensions put the new tape back on and then put them in. So the only thing I didn't show you guys was basically washing all up there and getting all the tape off, but literally all I use is alcohol. Just like, like in the like medical section of the grocery store just buy, like I think, over, like 91 % alcohol, that's all I did. It'S really easy. It just was a little bit time-consuming. It typically takes me about two hours just to put the extensions in, so you have to kind of like pick a couple days or a weekend where you're comfortable not wearing your hair, for a little bit like last night, I try on wedding, dresses and didn't wear My hair, because I didn't have enough time to put it back in once I took them out so if you have like all day, you could definitely do it in the same day, but I never really do have a full day to dedicate to just my hair. So that is kind of my trade-off. So I like to do it myself to save money and I don't mind doing it myself and then I can be really precise about where I put them and since it is a lot of hair a lot of stylists or like you, don't need seven packs of Hair but I feel like I do, and I like that, so that's why I do it myself, but that's the trade-off is that it takes a couple days or at least a day. You know four hours in a day, so I break it up into a couple days. But if you go to a salon they can get done in two hours for you but um. Since I wear so many packs, it was getting pretty expensive to order the salon for me, so I was just like I bet I could do this myself. It'S really easy. I get the tape at Sally's, it's called like satin strands. It'S like seven bucks per packet and it comes with like sixty pieces of the tape. I think or something like that. So at the end of the day, I'm spending less than a hundred dollars like I'm only thing I'm buying is the alcohol and the tape. That'S the only thing I'm buying where, if I go to the salon, it could be upwards of $ 300 for love to move it for me. So there's definitely a good trade-off. There'S pros and cons to going to the salon or doing it yourself. But if you can do it yourself, it's a good way to save money, but also, if you just like to be pampered and have it taken care of for you and get done in two hours, and you just sit there in a magazine, then that is definitely A pro of going to a salon and having a stylist move them up for you, but total personal preference yeah. So I hope that was pretty easy too. It'S super easy. It'S like the easiest thing ever, it's just time consuming and annoying to get all the tacky stuff out of your hair, but also I wanted to mention that so the night I took him out, I washed my hair in the shower three times in the shower and When I got out it was still tacky like just at the roots. I had some tackiness that didn't wash out, but after make two showers of washing your hair with good clarifying shampoo, the tackiness is all out so at first you might be like. Oh, my god, my hair's ruined, like it's so tacky like there's so much glue still in here tape or whatever residue, but just keep taking a shower, keep washing your hair and within you know, two showers, but happiness will be gone and just brush it out brush From root to end and the tackiness will be gone, trust me it's weird. It'S weird you're, like oh, my god, I'm never gon na go to get this out, but then it just comes out. So I think those are all my tips for my tape and hair extensions. I just finished my makeup in the car. That'S always amazed by that. Hey guys, so I wanted to resemble pizza, so I put on some dark brown eyeshadow like crust at the red lipsticks. Like pizza sauce me too, to compare. Oh no, my camera's gon na die okay new battery is in so I was just telling Brett that I hope, Alex and Michael have good for the trick-or-treaters, but also for me. What'S your favorite holiday you're right, that's not even at Brett's house he always has little Twix bars outside spy sites and Snickers. I love to cats, wait Almond Joy, you guessed it! It'S only joining for sure. Oh, a Crunch Bars, but literally the only time like you eat, candy like a candy bar, is like healthy. Before we started dating. I would never just go buy candy, but now I do because you do that's funny like I would buy like a box of or something never candy like that. But since records was by sizing that was like well Freddie, I can hit it and I'll go. Get little bite-sized candies now better, yet you did it. That sounds good, have a little chocolate and to finish off my costume, we're actually gon na pick up heat. I bring pizza, so that'll be funny. Okay picked up, the pizza smells so well. If you didn't want pizza before in ICU, I'm people now it does smell, really good. It'S all rounds there, we're about to see the babies and their first Halloween costumes right. Yeah. Tell me, wait you don't know what they are. I know what Alex a Michael and Julian are, but I don't know what everybody else is. So it's a costume party, my parents wouldn't tell us what they were gon na, be I'm going to go up, Mallory and Collin for are going to be, and I no one knows that were a football player eating pizza.
