Hair Extensions I Ordered On Amazon! // Putting Them In Myself!

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, I am so excited about today's video, I'm not sure if it's gon na work and I'm trying this so that either you can do it or you can never ever do it today. I am gon na be trying hair extensions. I ordered on Amazon, I told one of my friends yesterday that I was doing this. How do you know the color? Like I literally don't I mean these are the ones I ordered. I will post the link. They are from the brand F shine. Uh-Huh they're full shine, 20 inch, ombre tape and hair extensions, and the picture looks kinda. Like my color, I can only hope that maybe somehow they'll work we'll see okay, so I just grabbed the package and that's smaller than I thought. I only ordered two packs of hair. That'S how many packs of hair. I would normally do from a brand that I know so. I'M hoping it's enough, but I don't know I kind of have a feeling it won't be and I might have to order more. But that's that's if there aren't even gon na work, let's be honest here, so let's crack them open you guys. It looks like I need to tone my hair. Oh no! Oh! No! Oh no! I think. Okay, I think that they actually don't look as bad as they looked in that light down there. I think I do need to tone my hair with a purple shampoo. If I put these up to it, I mean the ends are white, but I think it could work. I'Ve always heard experts say like it's crazy. How how they can blend can really expect them not to, and then it can blend. I don't know. I think that if I tell my hair, we could make this work all right. I think a trip to Sally's, it's called for. So it's actually the next day didn't have time to wash my hair yesterday, but I did get the purple. Shampoo just got this one. It'S a conditioner actually so we'll see if it works gon na. Do that all right now, what's up okay, for you guys it's been two seconds and for me, since I said I was gon na wash my hair with purple shampoo, it's been two days, so I washed it with purple, shampoo and or purple conditioner holy cow. That worked so well. Let'S compare the colors now in this light before it goes away, so they say, like the roots, really don't matter, because you don't see them okay, I feel like they didn't. Look that bad, though, like when I just was looking at them in the mirror a little bit ago, but in this lighting it's terrifying. I think I'm still gon na give him a shot just because I could take him out so easy and if they blend really with my hair and I cut them the same length as my hair, I might just look more by lodged by ball-ball yeah. If it does mark, I'm gon na be bummed can use him as a dog toy. Oh look! I'M gon na! Try it I'm gon na! Try it I'm gon na! Try it what the heck! That'S! Why I'm doing this? So you don't have to I'm trying it so in order to do these extensions, I need to be able to see the back of my head and I think I figured out how so I'm in my guest bathroom, and we have a mirror here - we're here. Then the mirror I put up here - I just installed here: it's not centered, and then this mirror here so from this mirror. I can see the back of my head. I didn't think about how I'm gon na have to cut them myself too, but whatever we're gon na, try it. So I found a diagram of where they need to be placed, and I know they need to be sandwiched, which means you take one piece you put it on the hair and then you flip it up whatever the hair stuck to it, you keep on there and Then you smack another one right on top of it like that, so they're sandwich together or I've seen people do the lower one first like the underneath one and then sandwich the other one on top. I think that one might be easier. This is proving to be a little bit more difficult than I thought it would be by myself and all the hairdresser's are like yeah. That'S why we have a job still going for it. Let'S do this first one, these stick right on top, and then you get a pliers real technical here and you just I keep looking at that premiere like one of them. One of them's gon na help me and you just stamp it down really hard. It just looks so bad from hey, first ones in so it says the first row has two sandwiches so where to go, the thing I'm most worried about is that I'm not gon na have enough, and I'm gon na look like a straggle straggle Queen. Until i order another pack, so second sandwich done, do you guys know how long that took? I'M sure I fast forward at this took a long time like my name is Ricky just this long strand there, five hours, late, ale, okay, you guys they're all in there. Very ashy, but I mean from that angle, it looks great. I never wear my hair straight to so I think once they're curled, I was expecting to cut them, but they almost a tapered. I don't know. I definitely need to cut them a little bit, but I'm wondering if I should curl them to see how they look curled. But I know I can't cut it once it's cold, but I mean they are in and they're rooted. So you can't really see the tapes they're in and I'm pleasantly surprised it took me 45 minutes to get them all in. Actually, I'm not not. They blend really well from the single okay. I I'm gon na trim them up a little bit and then I'm gon na curl them and we'll see if it blends better once they're curled, with some real professional scissors right here, so usually with extensions that they have with brand-new hair. It'S really silky and fine, and after the first time you wash it it kind of fluff. Sup looks more like normal water. You you guys that's a little bad. I'M actually really impressed that looks so good. What back honestly, I had such low expectations. Let me just keep going so this is the finished product and I did not expect for them to be this good and this high quality I mean they're - definitely not salon grade, I mean the hair is, but I am NOT a professional and I'm sure they're, not As good, but I've had a lot of extensions, and these are good - there is three things right away that I think of that. I would have done differently and one is buying more hair. I only bought 2 packs of hair and it works. I mean it's not too bad, but I definitely would buy one more pack of hair, so I'm gon na order, one more pack of hair and put that in a little bit higher up. Here too, I think I would have gotten a darker color. These do work but they're very light for this underneath part of my hair, and I think it would have been good to have at least a darker pack down here, but I mean what are you gon na? Do it is Amazon? I can't get samples pretty good for what what I was expecting and three actually saves you money, because I bought extra tape because I didn't think the extensions had tape on them, but they had tape on them. So I didn't need the tape that I bought, but when I reapply them in two months and move them up or hopefully two months, I'm gon na need that tape. So I'm glad I bought it, but I didn't need it for this first application. I'M really happy with it. Tell me what you guys think if you are a hair, stylist critique me tell me what I need to do better. Tell me if I'm nuts, I welcome it honestly. I think I am too I'm really happy with the results. Oh and I didn't end up cutting them at all. I mean I cut them just a little bit, tapered and I'll probably end up taking off a little bit of the length just because they're so blonde at the end, Jamie hasn't seen it yet. So I might see what he thinks.
