Diy Tape-In Extensions At Home, The Easy Way!

After tons of failed attempts and a couple years of watching every self installation video I could find, I finally am ready to show you the way I put in my tape-in extensions on my own! Mine last roughly 6 weeks and I am able to reuse them over and over for at least 6 months before repurchasing!

So I finally finally covered my old lady roots, and I am ready to show you guys how I put in my tape and extensions at home all by myself. So I had been using a lot of clipping extensions for years. I actually have tons of bags of hair extensions from Bellamy was my absolute favorite and I still would tell you get the Jessica Burciaga blends, they're awesome and the Bugattis same same, but I found myself in a situation a few years ago, where I had hard catfished. My husband from dating we were new to this whole thing, and I kept wondering once we got to that point. What I was gon na do to explain that I took my hair out at night before I went to bed. So I started looking into tape and extensions and I absolutely fell in love with both the brand that I use cheap amazon brand and the method that I researched. I watched a ton of videos just like this one and found one that I really felt was the easiest way for me to be able to get the same. Look that I could spend hundreds of dollars for installation at a salon at home, so stay tuned. I'M gon na give you all my tips and tricks for getting that done along with all the supplies. You might need to be able to do this yourself at home, so outside of the hair extensions themselves. There'S not a lot of things that you're going to need in order to do this, so the important things are just gon na, be your standard stuff, a brush, so I just use a wet there. You just probably wet brushes. I love white brushes, but I use a wet brush a comb, just the jump comb that I stole from my son's drawer, some clips to hold hair back whenever you're, not working with that particular section of hair and then just regular old hair ties. So this is all you need to get started outside of the hair itself. Now the hair it the kind that I use comes from Amazon and it's real human hair. You can style it wash. It use heat tools whatever you want to do, just like your regular hair and they come in a ton of different color combinations. What I use is the color that is marked think it is 424, so it's a blend of colors. It comes in a sleeve like this, and this is the 16 inch so generally. What I do is get three packs of 50 gram hair and I get one pack. I get one pack of hair. That is a couple inches shorter than the rest, just so that as I'm putting it in everything's not on one length, and it helps to kind of graduate the the length with both the steps on my scalp and the length of the hair itself. So this one is what I'm going to start with, and it's about two inches shorter than the other 250 grams sets. So first what I did, of course I, as I told you, I covered my Gray's but washed my hair, but I did not use conditioner. It'S super important not to add conditioner to your hair, especially at the roots before you put in your fresh extensions. So I washed and dried my hair with absolutely no product in it whatsoever. That'S also very important, so not just the conditioner in the shower, but you don't want to put products in your hair before you apply your extensions, so fresh, clean, hair, washed, dried and then brush it out to make sure that all of the knots are out and Then the next thing we're gon na do is actually section off the top part of our hair. That has going to have no extensions in it whatsoever. But the important part about this section is to make sure that we keep enough hair above where we're going to start our extensions, so that when we let our hair back down over top of where we apply those extensions. We'Re not gon na see where the tapes are on your scalp, so I generally start right here above my temple, and I just run my fingers straight back, making sure that I'm staying straight back in the back here too. So you can see straight across my temple. Past the back of my head, I'm gon na try to create as good of a part as I can and then just pull that hair straight up. So this is a part that is not necessarily the easiest part when you're doing it by yourself, because of course you can't easily see the back of your head, but I'll show you. I make this nice and tight and I kind of do a little genie bun on the top to keep everything out of the way while I'm, while I'm working and then I'll, take my clip and clip it on the top of my head. So this is where I start now. It is important that you check and make sure that you have a fairly straight part in the back. It doesn't have to be perfect. You can see, I have this little little lip there. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it has to be as close to straight as you can make it, because what we're gon na do is we're gon na put our extension tapes that are about an inch and a half wide and we're going to lay them On that line so, like I said they come in these sleeves and all you have to do, there's literally no prep to the extension themselves when they're brand new, but you open up the package and they are attached just with a twist tie, then I'll pull those Off of there and snip the little things that are binding it together. Oh now, let's talk about each one of these little West's, so each one is multicolored. My hair is not all one color. So, in order for it to blend well, it doesn't have to be a perfect match, but you don't want one solid color that you're trying to fit into your hair. So that's why I like these particular extensions, because they're actually super natural when it comes to even how my roots are dark and then it fades into other colors so on the back of these is a little sticker tops. So underneath this sticker is adhesive. This is super sticky and you don't want to touch it with your fingers as much as you can you're not going to be able to avoid a hundred percent touching with your fingers. But you want to try not to touch with your fingers. So what we're gon na do is we're gon na start. So what we're gon na do is we're gon na start the placement of this first West. So I took the tape off of the back. I'M going to use this part as my guide for this first row, if you watch other videos with other people putting them on to other people, this is a completely different method than that. This is a lot easier, and it's one that I have probably perfected. A little bit in the last couple years, so it's not super easy, the first time, but it gets easier and easier each time you do it. So I like to wear my hair in a ponytail a lot or a messy bun a lot. So I try to put my extensions in a way that I am NOT going to be able to see them when I pull my hair up. So I'm careful to leave at least a couple inches in front of my ears to wear extensions. Aren'T gon na be so I generally will take that section and then start this tape right above it not all the way at the part, but as close to the part as I can so, I literally just laid that tape enix extension with the adhesive right there. So that's half of each one left being put in so I'm gon na grab my next piece and take the tape off again. So essentially, what we're doing with these types of extensions? Is your sandwich, a fine layer of your hair between these two tapes? So here's the trick to doing it yourself so we're gon na take this tape that I just laid onto that hair and lightly lift it up when I lift it up, it's taking that fine layer of hair that it attached itself to and it's lifting it up With it, so I am then going to take this with the adhesive face up. Lay it directly under that tape and then just flip this one back down on top making sure that the twos ends meet press them together lightly. With my fingers - and that is my first weft place so another thing that I do - and this is up to you whether or not it does definitely help them to stay in a little bit longer. I take an old and I say old, because sometimes we will get adhesive on it. I take an old junk straight straightening iron and I just really quickly touch it clasp it between the straightening iron to kind of warm up that adhesive and it helps it to really set in there. So it is literally that easy, you're gon na place a couple. I'M gon na place a few more in so that you can see and then we'll talk a little bit about the pattern and stuff, but I'm gon na fast-forward through some of this, so that it's not you don't have to watch the entire hour it takes. For me to put these in so here we go again: it's tape off face up flip up place. It underneath make sure your sides are matched up press them together with your fingers, hit it quickly with your hot eye or your flattening iron good to go. So you can see that this doesn't give me a ton of extra light, but it is definitely the first layer to adding some more volume. So it does get a little trickier when you get towards the back, and you can't easily see the side. So hand-mirror will become your best friend for this. So essentially I just placed the next one, not right on that. First, one there's a little bit of space here about a finger worth of space, and I placed that again at the part and then believe it or not. When you put your second piece on in the back, it's not hard at all to not be able to see tape up nice underneath seal it up. So the other thing you want to do periodically, and I do it at least every level that I put in is to brush through and make sure that you're brushing through all the way up to those tapes. The reason is, if you create any loops of hair, that gets stuck up in that tape that are either yours or the extension, and they get it he's into a next set of tapes. You are gon na hate yourself for about six weeks, because every time you go to brush you're gon na catch up in those loops, so you can see the first layer - and that makes my next part and I'm ready to go on my next layer. I generally just open up that clamp a little bit put it back in and then we are on to the next. So I try not to put my next level directly below each of the other ones. I try to kind of stair step it or kind of like you would bricks so you're, not gon na put them like this you're gon na put them more like this. Also, you want to make sure that when you put them in their rows that they don't overlap at all. Lastly, it's hugely important that when you put have your hair in it that there's hair all the way across that sticky band, it's pretty easy if you're just pressing it down when you lift it up, it's going to pick it up all the way across. But if you only have hair sandwiched into one side or the other you're gon na end up with a lot of pressure, and you could end up damaging your hair that way, speaking of damaging hair you're gon na find very few beauticians that are gon na tell You yes go ahead and put your own tape in extensions in that's just the reality, so do it at your own risk. What I can tell you is that I had very fine brittle hair that was not growing at all for several years, mostly because of my diet, soda addiction and so using tape. Ins for me actually helped my hair to get a lot healthier. Why? Because I'm washing it a lot less, I'm using a lot less heat styling when you get your hair done, curl good to go! That'S gon na last! For days with these extensions, this extension hair holds curl a lot better, for whatever reason that my natural hair does so once I do my hair curl it everything is good. I have days with without having to rewatch re style, my hair, so it might be a couple days down a couple days in a ponytail a day or so on a messy bun, but I'm not doing as much heat styling and that type of thing to my Hair on a regular basis, so I'm gon na finish putting in the next row or start putting in the next row and I'm not gon na start again right where I started this one, I'm going to go a little bit behind it and make sure that I Am at close to the root on the section that I'm putting it in you don't want to place these far down from your root. You have to be careful about little sections like this see how this little baby set a hair was still down. You don't want to catch that in your glue, so just make sure this is all a part there that you're placing that extension on don't forget tape upside down. The second rows done same thing. This time, I'm just gon na grab each one of those by going underneath with my phone. However, what I am gon na do this time for the next row is to switch to my longer set now. So I used all but two pieces, one weft of that 16-inch set now I'm switching over to the 18-inch set so that the length blends in well and everything is not all one uniform length so same process all the way through now. You can see them starting to get more of the length now's when you want to start to be careful, though, because the further you go down on to the back of your head, the more trouble you're gon na have, if you're someone that does like to wear Their hair up a lot, so I do for work. I wear my hair up almost every single day, so I make sure that I leave a section about this big from the nape of my neck up that when I pull my hair up, that hair is gon na cover that lowest set of extension tapes. So you'll see what I mean in just a minute, so I have rope and again I'm doing the longer ones still and I'm still only in the second pack of 50 grams of hair. This one I'm actually gon na start in the middle just because some of them are didn't make it all the way to the middle. So I want to make sure that it's evenly dispersed throughout my head, and I don't have second sections there that it's not as big as the rest. So if I keep starting in the same spot outside inside outside the inside, eventually that is a smaller line that I'm working with, so I'm not gon na make it all the way across so towards the bottom. Here I do start at the middle a couple times. So these last couple, as I put them in at the Nate, I'm gon na - try to turn them a little bit on the diagonal, instead of putting them straight. This way, look with them this way when I pull my hair up into a ponytail they're kind of flipping in the correct direction in the correct direction, I'm not gon na see it without odd. So this is where I'm gon na stop putting them in. You can see so you can't see the tapes anywhere stand up a little bit so, but what I do need to do my my hair on top of it was not completely straight. Everything below was so. I need to go through and either curl it Oh or straighten it all. So I'm gon na go and finish curling my hair to show you what it looks like when it's all done and then I will come back and update you alright. So this is the final product, so it took me right around an hour to get all of these in and if I turn around you can see, I would easily be able to do a ponytail or a messy bun or anything like that, and I think this Length is probably a little bit more frame, but it's easy to cut again the things you cannot do while you have these in. You don't want to color the hair while it's on your head, but you absolutely can killer these extensions. I would recommend having your beautician. Do it to match your hair color? You also want to be careful with you. Never ever ever want to use any shampoos that have sulfates or alcohol in them, because that will deteriorate deteriorate that glue and it's gon na loosen and they're gon na slip quicker. So another thing too: if you want to wash as little as you can, this is where my love affair, with dry shampoo came in so dry shampoo will be your best friend. You just want to go in and lift up kind of in between your rows of extensions, and just like you would, if you use dry shampoo without extensions kind of rub, that powder into your scalp a little bit so that it absorbs the oils. As far as nighttime low ponytail or a loose braid, you want to do as much as you can to eliminate a lot of that, so I definitely can go through and brush my hair, like I normally would I wash my hair like I normally. Would I don't want to condition above mid-shaft of my hair, so I don't ever want conditioner or oil type thing to get into where these tapes are, but you can use oils, hair oils, hot oils. Anything like that on the ends of this hair, to keep it healthy and certainly condition the ends. Just like you would your regular hair for reusing these extensions. If there was anything that I do not like about the extensions, it's just that they're kind of a pain when you want to when you want to reuse them, it's wonderful as far as the cost. I think what I have on my head is probably around a hundred and twenty dollars worth of hair. But I can reuse these over and over every six weeks until usually about six months of use, and then I start to notice that they get ratty. But you can trim them just like you would. If your own hair got got split ends, so these will get split ends. Just like yours, you can curl them. You can do whatever you want just like yours, but you have to remember that they're gon na react. Just like yours, so if it's dry, it gets brittle. If you too much heat without heat, protectants, you're gon na get split ends and then definitely like. I said at night. You don't want to be sleeping and just let it get tangled and gross and rough. As far as when you do go to reuse them, all you have to purchase is the replacement tapes, so these ones I get from Amazon and I'll link them below too. But when you take your extensions out, I actually just kind of wiped that adhesive off on foil and maybe I'll. Do another video to show you the process of preparing your hair to be used again and then just place on the new tape and you're good. To go back through the same process, so this is it. This is how I do my hair extensions. I generally don't do them too much over the summer. Just because, like I said we, we do boat a lot and that kind of thing. So if you're gon na be in chlorine water and that type of thing regularly, I would say that tapings are not your best bet for this time of year, though, and for somebody who isn't regularly in and out of water, doing water sport. That kind of thing I think, they're wonderful, I've had the best luck with them. I'Ve had so many compliments, I'm the first person everywhere I go when somebody says. Oh my gosh, I love your hair to say: oh look, they're taped in so let me know if you try it if you love them, if you hate them, if you've had a great experience or you have not and please while you're here subscribe below, if you Found something in this video useful: please give it a thumbs up, and I will see you next time.

Beauty Rush: I FINALLY filmed a video with tips for taking them out! https://youtu.be/AGWDMIBYpCY

Jessika Bohn: I am a licensed cosmetologist here in California and I find it absolutely necessary to tell you that your DIY video has taught me more in one viewing than any professional video or industry video I have watched! I love the confident way that you give instruction and how honest-to-God easy it becomes with your step by step instruction. Thank you thank you thank you!!

TheHenryJ1951: I love my tape in extensions and I’ve been wanting to try to put them in myself especially now being home so much thank you for that informative video I would like to see one how you remove them and what do you recommend for removal I only use three on each side just to give me some volume for my shoulder length hair which is very fine. I want to try longer like yours they look so pretty.

Doni Townsend: I’ve been wearing tape in extensions since 2011. My stylist did them for until 2017 when I moved. My usual routine with her took 3-4 hours. This was her removing, coloring my own hair, cleaning and applying new tape to the extensions while my color processed, reapplying the extensions and styling. She became a dear friend and we both looked forward to my appointments which, of course, added to the time my appointments lasted. When I moved out of state I tried to find a new stylist but, I was blown away by what they were going to charge me. Plus, they would not use extensions that I would bring in, they would only use what they ordered and insisted on a new set each time. So, I’ve been doing my own since 2017. I buy my extensions and tape from Sally’s. I take an evening and a morning to do my hair. I start by removing the extensions the night before. The next day I start by coloring my hair and giving it a long wash, really giving the roots and scalp a good scrub. I do not use any conditioner. Then I put my extensions in almost exactly how you do yours, only I start at the bottom and work my way up. As long as I take my time and rush myself, they’ll be good for 8-10 weeks. I might have to retape one from time to time but that just takes a few minutes. I use 22” and 18” to give the layers and volume I want. I love my extensions!! They give me the hair I dreamed of having when I was a teenager. I haven’t been able to wear them for over a year now. In 2019 I was diagnosed with stage four cancer. I’m in remission now and I never lost my hair but the treatment did change the texture of my hair and gave it a very funny feel and I just couldn’t get the tape to stick. I started taking biotin with coconut oil and my hair has actually grown out almost to the length of the extensions. I still miss them though and I’m thinking of putting them back in soon. They gave me confidence and I could use some of that now. Great video!!!! I wouldn’t change a thing!!! ☺️

Jamieson Parsons: Credit where Credit is due lovely lady! - I have attempted to put in tape in extensions 3 times over the last fortnight only to crack it and give up every time. Today i followed this tutorial and saved myself $130 for my hairdresser doing it. Bless your cotton socks, i cannot thank you enough xx

Kelley Broussard: Wow.... Thank you for this outstanding tutorial. I have been wearing clip in's religiously for about ten years now, and have sadly been seeing the tension alopecia come through more and more as a result. About three years ago, I had a stylist install a set of tape ins - and while they looked great, they were unbearably uncomfortable. (I think she may have installed them way too close to the root, not totally sure - but it was four weeks of low-key torture! LOL) The way you installed them definitely looks reasonably easy - and the end result was FANTASTIC! I also think that the way you installed them would all but alleviate that miserating uncomfortability factor that I suffered through. Anyway - Just had to say thanks for this outstanding tutorial - It was by far the best I've seen in a long, long time! Looking forward to checking out more of your videos!

lotus white: Thanks, your video was just what I needed and far more useful than the other thousands I have watched. And Ps - not only are your hair extensions gorgeous, but you are absolutely stunning as well! Just had to say it! Thanks for the video hun!

Heather Banul: I love this video! It’s the best DIY tape in video I’ve seen. I usually have mine professionally done, and during the stay at home order I attempted to do it myself. Wish I had seen this video then, my results would have been a lot better and the process much easier.

amycamjake: You’re a genius!!! My biggest problem was figuring out how much hair to sandwich in between. This method is so easy Thank you for all the tips! I am a mortician and have to wear my hair up and it gets yanked on by the respirator, so your tip on the diagonal placement of the lower tapes is life changing! THANK YOU ☺️

Kathy Lewis: Kathy Lewis I loved your video--you make it seem so easy. I've trying to get a local beautician to add some extensions for volume but she keeps putting me off. After viewing your video I think I have enough courage to try and do it myself.

Heather Banul: I love this video! It’s the best DIY tape in video I’ve seen. I usually have mine professionally done, and during the stay at home order I attempted to do it myself. Wish I had seen this video then, my results would have been a lot better and the process much easier.

Cori nne: This is the best diy installation video Ive found thank you

Brandi: You explained this so well! I’ve been searching tape in extensions for a few months now and so glad I had found your video before buying & trying them myself! One question you said you purchased 3 sets.. was 2 sets 16inches and 1 set 18inches? & when you said you were placing 18in did you only put 18 inch on the bottom half of your hair?

Lea Seberg Fladstad: Has anyone else started wearing extensions also just because you have also had problems having short and thin hair for a long time and not been able to get long and thick hair again which you don't have patience or not even have time to wait for some special reasons as me? How long can tape extensions be on hair before it had to be removed, can it be used again several times on hair, how long can tape extensions be on hair before it had to be removed, how long do I have to be without tape extensions before I can wear it again, how long can it last before it gets worn out, how many tape exensions do I need for short and thin hair when I want long and thick hair, how can I keep it on my hair without it falling off, does it feels natural like our own hair when we wear it, will tape attachment be invisible on short and thin hair, can it make hair worn, how to blow-dry my hair and tape extensions without it being worn if tape extensions have to be blow-dryed every time I wash both my hair and tape extensions and do tape extensions need any other products than just extra tape, remover and another shampoo and conditioner?

Peggybee: OMG This is the best tutorial I’ve seen that clearly demonstrates how to put tape in extensions yourself. Thank you so much. I love the meltdowns too!

Patti: Thank you; thank you.. You've inspired me to go ahead with my decision to purchase the tape-ins. I've been looking at Irresistible Me products, but will look at the ones that you're using, now that I've discovered and subscribe to you!

My hair has been thinning for years now and I just ordered my first set of tape in extensions and I had no idea how to put them in. I think now after watching your video I am ready to try it. So thank you!!!!!!!

Naya Naya: This is one of the best tape in tutorials I’ve seen, very detailed! Great video. Now I will definitely try it myself, thank you so much

Liz Liz: Great video. The only tips I'd add are to use a pin comb to make the hair partings cleaner plus leave a thin layer of hair out between each row of extensions.

Michelle Valadez: This is the best DIY on tape ins that I have seen. Thank you!! I always get caught up in the "tape sandwich" process but doing the top part first seems a lot easier

Tawni Garfield: Can't wait to try my tape in extentions now! I've had them for what seems like forever and had just been scared to put them in myself. Ever since watching this I have built up my confidence in the process. Here I go, wish me luck! :)

Jacq W: From one lover of long hair-(who had the "Warlock" method done in the New Orleans salon for years$$$) to another-excellent video! I used to use a low-temp glue gun, light-brown glue sticks and methodically apply the extensions myself. Took me about 6-8 hours and soo tedious, but the results were so good. But now that I know we can do these ourselves-I will never go back to doing it that old way. I can NOT WAIT to try this! Thank you for providing every little tid-bit of info needed to make an informed decision. Yes!

Elaine Torres: I saw your video Tuesday, ordered my hair and it came in today! So easy to do! Thank you! My hair looks great!

Lorrie Webster: Your hair looks beautiful and natural! You make it look easy! I’ve never tried but now I want to.

Diane Hodges: Such a great technique for diy. So glad I found you!

Ana Martin: Spectacular Amazing tutorial I'm doing this today!

Ledesa Lou Who: Best DIY vid for hair extensions! Very thorough Thank you!

Kkane: Would you happen to have video on making your own crown hair piece? The one with the fishing wire attached. Thinking of making my own I cannot wear tons of hair it hurts my neck.

Kirsty Self: i was looking into buying them from amazon but i have some bold spots on the side of my head not a lot but from using so much clip in extensions that aren't growing back i am wanting to try and cover it the best i can. thank you.

Talton L: This is very helpful! I love your eye look too! Can you please do a tutorial on it?

Ava Lynne: This looks really good and you made it nice and easy! Ok, I have to ask what was happening during the meltdowns lol

Janice G: Omg that is genius! Love your hair too! Thank you for your video!

Racheal Church: Super helpful! Can’t wait to try it for myself!

Jennifer: Best video ever!! Thank you so much! Any shampoo and conditioner you suggest for tape in extensions?

Alisha Cruz: I would never have tried them myself without your video. You’re very beautiful and fun to watch, thank you!

Kerri Hughes: Hi, thank you this is great! Which extension s do you recommend? Xx

Ashley Hallman: This has been honestly the best diy video for extentions I've seen though

Tamara Eve: I put them in with your method. I used the same brand. It was way harder than I thought it would be. I started too high, so I have to take those out and put more on the bottom. Plus trying to get them to match my hair has been a nightmare (super blonde). But thank you for your video, it was the easiest I’vei found.

R C: Thank you, great tutorial and they look awesome. I love tape ins I’ve been wearing them for years but they really truly drive me crazy! They are itchy and very annoying to sleep in I find. Anyone else?

Craig & Kathy Rodgers: Will you post a video on reusing the tape ins? Your installation video seemed to be so much easier than others I've watched to install them yourself! I'm tired of paying to have the tape ins removed and installed every six weeks but I am so addicted to the extra volume in my hair. This video makes me want to try it myself but I have to remove them, get the adhesive off of them and my hair, and then reapply the adhesive. What is the easiest way to do all of this? Like I said a video would be awesome, but I and I'm sure so many others would appreciate your tips on this!!

Cathy Cary: Thank you for showing a great how to video!❤️

Mig 2020: It’s beautiful!

Ashley Hallman: I'd have to dye my hair & the extensions at the same time I ain't paying no beautician. Thanks for letting me know what shampoo not to use.

Nina Zadushlivy: Question, did these extensions get dry super fast at the bottom after some time? I have purchased amazon extensions before and that was a continuous issue I have encountered. I've been buying Bellami recently but its so pricey im tired of it. Thanks! :)

Jasmine Vergara: Lmao I like how you created your own commercials and of course loved your video!

Erica Wyrick-DiMichiel: Do you have any idea how much easier you just made my life!! With me being new to the world of extensions because of chemical burn/breakage to my own (used to be!) waist length hair, now at my jaw line...I LOVE YOU!! And I'm pretty sure you just literally saved my fiance's life as well!! Lol So, THANK YOU LIFESAVER!!

Evelyn MONTEZ: This is amazing !! Thank you. You are fun to watch too! Beautiful.

Bee Bees: Brilliant work, thank you!

sandra bambury: I 'd like to see you do a video on how you take them out .

Pam smith-brown: You talked me Into it!! Hope mine turns out as gorgeous as yours! Wish me luck!

Catrina Rued: You are da bomb! Thank you, thank you for this tutorial! :)

Priscilla A.: It's so amazing how you just slap that sticky side on top of the hair line ! ....... after installation have you ever experienced some hairs pulling because they weren't inserted a little " cleaner"?

Donna Mccarron: Your way of helping and explaining to us❤️ in my opinion perfect , thank you beautiful girl

Ruby Hall: You speak so well! Super clear, informative video, no extra unnecessary babble.. This was perfect! Thank you!

Sierra Biehn: Are these easier than the micro bead ones? I don’t know which ones i want to try, i work in a doctors office, so i wear my hair up a lot

Michael Ballard: Nice.. looks about the same as a professional salon install.. great video

Vero Khan: Brilliant! Thank you!

Cherry Malibu: You're so beautiful and your hair is stunning. <3

Shelley Vielle: This. Was a great tutorial. Your so exact. Thanks

Ariel Schloner: Great video!! I think you did an amazing job! If I could just say a couple things it would be that you *can* use products that have alcohol on hair extensions and your hair, it just depends on the TYPE of alcohol it is. There are fatty alcohols, aka long-chain alcohols that are hydrating for the hair and skin and they will not dry you out!! So you don’t necessarily need to look for alcohol free if you don’t want to!! And you don’t necessarily need to get a different length of hair extensions if you’re doing the correct stacking placement as this would naturally create layers in the hair.~ the way you did it is absolutely wonderful and there is NOTHING wrong with people using this method if they’re doing it in a way that is not going to damage their hair!! I’m certified in tape-in hair extensions and a licensed cosmetologist so I thought I’d just offer some input here. Obviously you do NOT have to listen to ANY of what I just said as far as input goes. Like I said you did a BEAUTIFUL job!! I just figured that I would put the information out there in case you wanted to know!!

dr.aether: I’m on my sons YouTube don’t mind the screen name but I am so inspired to do this! Now I need to know the life span wash and brush as normal just seems too easy lol I will check your page for the removal video hope it’s just as easy

Lea Seberg Fladstad: How long can tape extensions be on hair before it had to be removed, can it be used again several times on the hair, how long can it last, will it hold on the hair without falling off, does it get curly when it gets wet, does it feels like our own hair when we wear it and can it make hair worn?

Deborah Wallace: What are you using to remove the extensions please? I have used alcohol, but I hate putting that on my extensions! Thinking I will try coconut oil this time

Emma Mason: Love mine . Got my husband to do it . However ... I wish I'd stayed with clip ins . Washing and drying is so hard

Jenn Zamora: Thank you so much!!!!! I was able to do this myself cuz of you

Mike and Mom: Perfect color match!

Katie Stanis: Hey there! Love this video, thankyou!! Can you please share What type of extensions do you use that are from Amazon?

Melissa Freeman: Wow! These are gorgeous!!!

Deborah Wallace: So you do not leave any of your natural hair in between the rows of The extensions. That’s interesting. Maybe as my hair gets longer I will try that. Right now my natural length is above the shoulders.

GreekGodessDiva: I’m at tape hair Nano bead expert at home. This is an excellent video. Excellent

Jessica Baez: Love this video!!!!

carri lamb: what color did you use on your natural hair to cover your gray before? It is sooo pretty! well done

A: Pro tip for super thin hair. You can get one sided tape and use her system where you flip it on the top and then instead of using a second extension on the bottom use one sided tape. You can find one sided tape on amazon. Great video!

Dara Lynn: Dang I didn't get the shorter length to use but will have to cut them and I did get my clarifying shampoo. Thanks you really helped since I done see all types of videos you really make it seem effortless. Glad you shared about the foil tip and the angles for pony tails and buns. YIPPIE Ok will have you on while I put mine in when I get my last pack adding some color for highlights. You can get a color and add one that matches your hair color and then add another tape in on top of another color along the edges/outsides (so when pulled up your color matches). LOVE THE WAY YOU PUT THEM IN... BLESS YOU!!!

Christina Fadden: I ordered mine a week ago and I’ve been dying to do them and haven’t been able to find anyone to help me I watched 1 million videos but yours is the first one that I’ve come across and found your technique that would actually work doing it yourself I’m going to do them tonight and I’ll let you know how it turns out I only want it for length and I got two packs of 50 g each 20 pieces each I hope that’ll be enough how many packs did you use
