Hi everyone welcome back to my channel today, I'm doing a video on my permanent hair extensions and it's been very highly requested and people have been asking me all about them. So today I'm going to be showing you and telling you a little bit more about them. I'Ve got some notes written on my iPhone that the woman that does my hair told me while I was getting them taped up last time, so I've got a bit more information. I feel like I'm ready to tell you guys. Basically, I've got permanent extensions. The difference between permanent and temporary extensions is that you can't take them out yourself, so, instead of being able to clip them in whenever you want, you know for special occasions without commitment these have to be put in by professional and then remove by professional, so they're. There 24/7, until they get removed, I've got mine, done ribbon waves, hair extensions in Canberra, it's a one-woman business, she's, fully qualified and trained, and has a lot of history and experience in the beauty industry. So I chose her to get my tape, extensions and I'm very happy with the results. So I'll just show you now I'll just show you one of them. This is one of the tapes, so they're, very fine wet. This is a weft. It'S actually two West's taped together. If I'm making sense here, a weft is the piece of hair and I have about 40 of them in my hair I have fine hair. So that's why I have that many, that's quite a lot. Basically, this is a two weft. There'S the underside there's the top side and they are sandwiching. My own hair and they've got double sided tape on each of the sides, and so that goes over my hair and they stick together and basically these last for six to eight weeks before I have to go to Rayven waves, get them taken out, treated and moved Back up my hair, so, as you can see, these ones have moved down quite a lot. My hair's grown quite a lot. If you can see that so I chose tapes because they're very flat against your head. If you put your hand to your head, you can't feel them. They cover a lot of surface area because they're very wide they're, not like the little beads that are a tiny little bead and create a lot of stress and strain on your hair. I prefer these. They just I find very easy to manage and they're not bulky and that's what I like about them. So that's why I like them and now I'm going to talk about what it's like getting them put in. So, as I said, I went to Raven waves, hair extensions. She actually comes to your house. I didn't go to her, but her name is Kathy. She came to my house on a Wednesday. She first checked what hair color mine was, so she matched my hair color to a palette that she had and then she ordered my color in and that took about a week to come in so the following week. She came back to my house and put them in my hair, as I said she just sandwiches them over bits of my own hair, but there's sort of a procedure to it. I don't know exactly what it is, but it takes about 40 minutes and during that time she gives you information on how to take care of them, and it was very painless to put them in and it's very painless to get them moved up and taken out. So it's easy and yeah I'm happy with it, so she put them in and then six to eight weeks later, I went back to her and she took them out and to take them out. She uses tea tree oil, I believe, to remove the glue and then she treats them sends off the little wets or she treats them like they have a little spa session and they get treated so they're, nice and soft and the next day I come back and She moves them back up so that they're sitting and nestled right against my scalp yeah. That'S all there is to it, I guess getting them put in and moved up. As for my hair, it is European hair. I believe in about 20 inches long roughly and it's very nice and soft shiny - and I like this because I don't have too much in there, so it doesn't look too fake. It still looks like my real hair now to take care of my hair. I have to use a special shampoo. I can't use shampoo that you get from the supermarket things like Herbal Essences, which is what I was using, I'm not allowed to use. I have to get a paraben and sulfate free shampoo, which really everyone should use parabens and sulfates. I believe strip the natural oil from your hair and that's not good, because then your scalp goes to make up for that by producing extra so upon using this of sulfate and paraben free shampoo, my hair needs to be washed a lot less, and it is much More softer, much more shinier and much more healthy all around this is the nak hydrating, conditioner and shampoo or normal. Is your color treated and dried hair and that's what I use every two to three days and then I use a treatment and I use the oil treatment. I don't know if you'd really call this treatment, the red can oil, it's just the same as Moroccan oil, and I use about four pumps and then run it through my hair about bare down, because you really shouldn't get it near the glue in the tapes. Otherwise they could slide out. So yes, my hair stays in there permanently 24/7, and it is very nice and soft if you want to make the cost the place I go to is three hundred and fifty dollars to get the tapes put in. That includes the hair and her coming to your house, wants to test the color and then her coming back to put the man so 350 for all that and then every about two months you have to get them moved up and treated, and that's one hundred and Fifty dollars, I think, that's pretty affordable, considering that a lot of people pay upwards of $ 3,000 for extension, so these are 100 % human hair. I haven't had any issues with it. Absolutely love them some other things that I have to do to take care of them is put them in a plot every night before I go to bed so that they're not being pulled and tugged by the pillow or Jack's massive arm, or anything like that, and I also try to plat them every day for work, just so that I don't put it in a ponytail which again cause the stress for notice, extensions but anyone's hair. So they do need a bit of extra care, but it's nothing that regular people without hair extensions should be doing anyway. That'S all I've got to say. I hope you guys enjoyed this video about my hair extensions and let me know if you've got any questions in the comments. Oh by the way, I'll link you to Raven waves, hair extensions. If you guys are in Canberra, I really recommend her. She was lovely in explaining everything and very professional, and yes, I'm very happy with my results and thank you for watching bye.

Karissa Pukas: Tape extensions are not for me, but I'm glad you love yours!!! They look great on you :) You have lovely hair to begin with xx

Hannah: Cathy is amazing. She put my beads in probably about a three and half months ago. I had to take mine out last weekend cause they nearly got pulled out when I was babysitting but she does an amazing job. She makes her clients feel at home and she's a very lovely person. I definitely recommend her. She actually told me to check out Chloe's videos and I'm glad I did. Thanks Chloe, you've helped me decide that tape is the way to go.

Melody Patterson: I've worn tape ins off and on for several years. I order the 60 piece set from Zala hair and LOVE them!! Three packs cost me less than $300 and my stylist charges me only $75 to put them in and $50 each time to get them moved up.

Katerina: I got mine done after seeing your video on tape extentions and i love them sooooo much. Thanks Cloe

liebe georgina: awesome Chloe, im really glad you did this video, ive been thinking about getting some clip-ins, ive never had extensions before so i thought id start with clip ins first, im going to check out the Raven extensions now

ashleyhat: Hi Chloe! we're loving your videos over here in canada. I've got all my work friends hooked on them! I've heard tape-in extensions can pull out your natural hair, have you noticed that happening? Also, would you recommend them for girls with naturally curly hair that need to use a flat-iron regularly? Do you think that would cause excessive pulling/ hair loss? Thanks so much.

Elisia Federici: great video chloe! they look so natural and less painful!! beautiful xx

E: Hi Chloe, you look beautiful! I was just wondering, is your boyfriend doing fine? He was really sick right? I hope he is doing fine!

WyntersBeauty: Your hair looks absolutely beautiful, but my concern is how do you brush through it when there's tape in the way?

minn880: Hi Chloe, I'm from Canberra too and looking into getting extensions, do raven wave extensions cut them as well if you don't want them to be 20" or so, or does she just put them into your hair? :)

Loren Inskip: Hi Chloe, just curious about styling and brushing the wefts? Can you use heat to style? And do you use a special brush? Xx

fini1234567: Hey Chloe. Could you do a video on your regular hair removal routine? If you wax/epilate/ have it done at a spa regularly etc?..

Ane Pavlovska: Would you still recommenced getting tape ins?

Cinderelli in the Woods: what hair tape would you recommend?? i'm trying to make my own extensions(:

katie hooper: i recently got tape in extensions (love them!!) this video is so help full :)

BridieGem: Hi chloe, I'm thinking of getting the tapes but I was wondering does your hair get damaged in anyway when they get removed? did you find that your natural hair got thin and there was hair loss in any way?

Supreet R: hey Chloe, i was just wondering how much was the shampoo?, cos ive got a repel-ends leave-in conditioner from Nak and its really good and i wanna try out more products from them, btw your hairs is gorgeous!

kcmy5: Everytime I watch one of her video's, I find myself talking with an accent. So jelly, you could be talking about compost and I would still find you charming

peaceful homemaking: they look really good x

Nathalia D: Chloe, could you do a Mila Kunis inspired make up tutorial? That'd be sooo cool! You're the best I love your channel xx

Glam Seamless: She is gorgeous! Get amazing remy tape in extensions with Glam Seamless extensions.

Mikayla Chilby: Whoa I love you with the long hair! Serious throwback

Sarah Tates: Ugh wearing someone else's hair (human hair) creeps me out!! I have your hair but its naturally long so I'm lucky. It all looks great on you but personally I'd never opt for extensions. Thanks for sharing and being so honest and thorough with the info.

Jasmina: wow it looks really natural! is it hard to wash your hair?

Jaz Burke: i love your hair so much better when its straight!!!

JakeIsFine379: hey chloe! i hope you and jack are doing well. i have a question that is unrelated to this video. lol. do you have any recommendations for cute 'night out' shoes that are not heels? i'm 5'10" and while I have no problem rocking a heel and walking around sometimes feeling a tree, it would be nice to be able to go out and feel cute without wanting to cry from the pain of heels. i know you're a heels girl, but i figured i'd ask! haha

915candy16: Beautiful! Going to look into these.. twice I had the keratin bonds n I hated running my hands through my hair plus they looked like, little roach eggs to me lol n both times I paid $1000 n I lost quite a bit of hair with the bonds n it took like,5 hours to have them put in! Looked beautiful but not worth it..to me.

Noonii99: Can you please do a glamorous "Audrey Hepburn" inspired makeup? Thank you. :)

Toni Stuppiello: What brand/company are your tape in hair extensions from?

WyntersBeauty: Yeah, I've seen those, I just didn't know if those would work with the tape being so wide, ya know?

The ZeroSix Method: You looked so tanned. So jealous !!

Melissa Krolewski: Hey Lady! Just wondering if you get your hair dyed at a salon or at home with a box dye!? Either way do you know the name of the color/number/brand that you use? I would really really appreciate it if you could responded. Im always trying to get the same color as you but it never seems to work out :/ All the best! xx

b2sbeauty: Looks very natural!

Lucy Mae: finally someone on yt that has tapes!! They are the best arnt they?!? :)

A. Essner: Hey Chloe, can you make a high ponytail with these? Thank you :) x Ann

UA HJ: I really like your hair colour. What colour is it exactly? Think I might get the same one done

Jai Nicole: Are you able to put the hair in a ponytail without it showing the extensions, and can you get the extensions just to lengthen your hair.

tiffanykarlsson: Can you please do a Micha Barton tutorial? I love your videos :)

Le _ Deeps: I wear clip in extensions, I've been looking into sew ins but just saw these and love them. So what I'm see

Annika Mikayla: Hi Chloe, i was just wondering i have really fine hair, does the glue damage the hair and make your own hair break off? (: x

AriRodri90: I had the worst experience with adhesive (tape) extensions. I'm unsure if it was the specific brand, but the extensions were entirely too heavy, they ended up straining and pulling out my hair, and as soon as I washed them, they puffed out and looked frizzy and horrible

Madison: I'm just sharing my opinion here but I've had micro link put it in for about 2 months and they tangled ridiculously and it was painful to have my hair dresser comb out the knots to remove them. They felt like little bugs in my hair. I've since been wearing tape ins for about 5 months and I love them. They're super flat, the "tape" comes out easily with hand sanitizer or dish soap and I have yet to notice any damage at all. The hair that you typically lose is the hair that has been

Lisa Dichiera: Tape extensions are NOT the safest extensions to get, I had a client come in having her hair done by another company and when her tapes were removed she lost half her hair length, some hair was pulled out from the roots! Tapes r more comfortable to have in but as a technician I personally think that micro beads r the safest method of hair extensions as no glue, tape or heat is used.. They may b uncomfortable for a little while but it's worth it! Tape Hair looks good Chloe.

Sierra Brooke: It's super easy to do this yourself. You don't have to go to a salon.

Erin Cee: Wow, I live in Canberra :o Now I can actually go somewhere recommended by another Youtuber xD

Nina Marie Blogs: Hi Chloe. When you blow dry your extensions do they get frizzy?

Anne Ka: Hey chloe. I was wondering if would be willing to do a tutorial on kim kardashians contouring and highlighting. I would love to see your take on it. Please...? I would really appreciate it...please? X :)

Janet Ojo: Your eyes are stunning

Janice Joseph: You are so beautiful!!! I was just wondering what is your job??

annacaten: You're awsome!!

Souli Ladida: I could listen to you say 'tooogethaaa', like, ALL DAY. ;)

Natasha Warren: You dont need to go to a professional to get them. Theres a DIY on how to make them and apply them yourself on youtube

aishu559: thank u very the info, here they are calles semi permanent tape extensions

Annastasia〈3: Can you please make a video on how to wash and dry your hair Thanks.

olerocketbar: omg my mom has that same exact tea pot in the background.

Juneal: where abouts can we purchase the shampoo and conditioner you're currently using and how much is it? do you have any recommendations on any other brands of shamp & conditioner that are paraban and sulfate free?? thank you!

Aileen Botor: hi chloe! do you ever use sunblock on your face? btw, you look so glowing here!

Maddi264: I'd be scared to brush my hair! Haha

Zoe-Victoria Winters: how do you go if you need to straighten your hair? x

Christina De Santiago: what is a plat? I feel dumb for asking but I need to know im getting these extensions soon and I have no idea what you mean by plat haha

Alia Q: Off topic but watching this girls' videos, I could totally see her playing Anastasia Steele in the 50 Shades of Grey movie. She is stunning.

ae91: What about brushing them? Do u use a special brush or can u at all?

kay jay: Do they irritate u?? As in do they feel uncomfortable having them in? I had clip ins and they were so annoying. I was just wondering if these r comfortable considering they're in ur hair 24/7

bdfkhndkjvnfv: can you out your hair in a pony tail/bun?

Dessy Bieber-Jackson: When your bathing what do u do to your hair . I heard u said u wash it every 2-3 days. And can u put it in a pony tail from time to time?

Anne Ka: Chloe i want to ask u. Are these tape extensions damaging to your natural hair. Please could u reply. I would really appreciate your response...please? X :)

ageleg1: I do these tapes myself on my own hair and it's so easy. Don't waste yr money at the salon. Plus pemanent does NOT mean that a salon has to do them; they are just in for longer.

xoLoveLeti: Lol I know what tones are when it comes to tanning, I wasn't born yesterday. But her response had a big LOL at the end so it seemed sarcastic. I think she was fake tanning.

mehmash: Does the glue and tape damage your real hair? xx btw i love your videos (:

Leska Naska: You are so dark and beautiful!

unknown: Never heard of these !

tazzo: I have tape extension have had them for 2yrs now i dont have any damage to my natural hair at all. I've tried sew in, and the micro beads. I would highly recommend tape to anyone interested in getting extensions. I use muk 1min treatment every wash on the ends of my extensions to keep them silky soft I also dye them quiet often (my hair is bright red) I use any shampoo and conditioner from the good stuff to just supermarket quality.

Espen Kirkvik: How many grams extensions do you have?

easternhair: Wow! It was very interesting

guzzy1994: Finally!! :)

Annastasia〈3: How Long are your extensions???just wondering

Matea jaric: how much pieces do you have? do you know how many grams is that

Madison: sandwhiched between the two peices as you shed hair. Obviously you know this already. But the only way to rip your hair out with tape ins is like any other form of extension and even if you don't wear extensions, to actually pull hard on the hair until it comes out. I've heard stories about clip ins where girls were having bald spots from the metal clips being put in everyday. To each their own I guess, but I think with every extension they're pros and cons. I just find tape the most gentle

Rose from UK: Do you have to have a day without them while they are being treated?

Samantha: can you put your hair up with them in? and how do you wash your hair like do you have to be more gentle? can the shampoo more the tape?

Breanne Balser: You look like candice swanepoel. You look great with minimal makeup

BridieGem: whats is the name of the shampoo you use?

Dalia Ismail: what hair extension brand you are using?

Laura Arkwell: Ur hair is looking lovely and full and thick.... Oh and thanks for following me on Instagram. Xxxxx
