Hi guys, what's up, welcome to my channel, welcome back to my channel today, i'm sitting down with you guys to talk about hand-tied, hair extensions, i'm so excited for this video i've actually been sitting on footage for like about a month. At this point, i've had these. In for almost a month at this point, so this is going to be a very comprehensive overview of how i feel about hand-tied hair extensions, more so than like a first impressions. I am so excited, i'm so in love with them. It is so nice to wake up and just have like beautiful hair and not have to worry about like putting in clip-ins or halo or anything. I actually went to a friend from high school who just opened her own salon. Congratulations, bridget, um! I'M going to link her down below her instagram is at basic hair page, but her work is anything but basic. She does such beautiful work and she's such a sweetheart. If you're in the philadelphia area definitely check her out, definitely make an appointment. So bridget put in four rows of hand-tied hair extensions which, if you're not familiar with the process, i actually have a video that i will. What the process is. Is that you're sectioning off a small piece of hair and inserting a bead and each section throughout this row is beaded and then the weft is sewn directly into that section, but it takes the tension off the hair. So it's a little bit healthier for your hair than traditional sew-in extensions, which i used to get when i was younger and it was really rough on my hair. So far i haven't had any issues with these. I haven't had any like tension, headaches which traditional sew-ins can be kind of like notorious for, and trust me. I know firsthand so the hair that we use for these extensions is from zala hair. It'S super multi-tonal, it's beautiful. It is pretty high quality because i have put this hair through a lot in like a very short span of time, and it's been holding up really well um. This hair has literally been in a lake. It has almost been set on fire insert clip here. [ Applause, ], [ Applause, ] so far so good. This is a mix of the colors snickers highlights and sunkist, and i think it's such a beautiful blend. It works so perfectly for my hair, it's so seamless! I really love when hair extensions are very multi-tonal. I think it looks really fake when it's just one color, so these really work for me i would definitely recommend checking them out, especially if you're planning to get you know, actual permanent extensions put in your head. You really want to make sure that the hair is quality. Definitely, do your research um check them out. I don't have a discount code for you at this time. If i do at any point, i will update this video to include that um, but yeah. This is 100, my own opinion. It was bought with my own money and i like them a lot. I'M gon na get close up to show you guys a row. So this is what a row looks like um. This is where everything is sewn in and i'll show you the underside, i'm not sure if you can quite see the beads on camera, but this is what the underside of the row looks like, and you can see here's another one right now. Normally, people only need about three rows to look very like full thick long. You know everything that they need out of hair extensions. I have a very large head and very dense hair, so bridget did put four rows on me um. So far so good, you can't see anything through my hair and i don't have any problems with them being uncomfortable um. So that is at your own discretion of how many rows you really want, and it kind of depends on you know how big your head is. I guess i have a noggin and a half. Apparently these are 20 inches and we're layered in with my own hair. I used the beach waiver to get these kind of like soft, pretty waves. I am obsessed with my beach waiver. I have a discount code for that for 10 off. I will link that down below if you're interested, i would definitely recommend it. It literally makes styling my hair so much easier because, like let me tell you this, this is a lot of hair like this is like on one side what most people have on their head and it's double and that's the only thing is styling. This much hair is time consuming um washing this hair is heavy. That'S the only really down, like that's the only real downside to having this much hair on your head. When it's time to wash it is a chore. It is something that you literally need to set time aside, for because it is going to take a hot minute in between, like full washes. I will take the top section of my hair and kind of like tie this all back and just kind of like shampoo. The top just to kind of keep the extensions from drying out. You want to avoid drying out the hair as much as possible. It'S like day three hair. So please excuse me if it doesn't look, you know fresh and clean, but i don't think it looks that bad for day three hair. I think this looks pretty damn good granted. There is a lot of dry shampoo in it, which i am currently obsessed with. The dry bar shampoo dry bar dry shampoo. It is so good, it is literally the best one i've ever tried. It just makes it feel like not dirty, which i know that's what dry shampoo is supposed to do, but i've also tried other dry shampoos that literally just weigh it down immediately, and it just feels disgusting. So this doesn't do any of that. I'M really a big fan of it. I would definitely recommend it if you're using dry shampoo in between washes, you really want to avoid getting it on your extensions. The reason for that is that dry shampoo is meant to soak up oils. Your extensions don't have oils the way that your natural hair does so you're, not producing. You are producing on your scalp, but it's not traveling down the hair. Shaft like it would with your own hair, especially not all the way down. So i would recommend also having a hair oil and a good moisturizing mask that you can kind of like throw on it when you're washing your hair. I wash my full head probably once a week and i wash like just the top, maybe two or three times a week um. I think even that's a lot once a week for this hair, so i do deep condition it every time i wash you don't want anything with protein in it. Anything with protein, like strengthening masks, is going to wreck your extensions so avoid that, like the devil, six to ten weeks is what i believe the time period for hand-tied hair extensions is um, after that they move them up, and i'm pretty sure i haven't been for My appointment yet so um. If you have questions you can definitely definitely direct them to my friend bridget. I will again link her down below and her instagram's gon na be right here or right here, i'm not really sure, but you can definitely direct questions to bridget. If you guys have more follow-up questions about what move up looks like, i can definitely post a video. I have an appointment coming up in a few weeks um, so i can do a video. Then we can kind of do some q a with bridget. If you guys are interested, let me know in the comments down below but yeah so far. I am obsessed, i'm really really pleased with zola hair and i couldn't be happier with them.
