How To Do A Versatile Sew-In

As promised in my last vlog, here’s a video on How to do a versatile Sewin! This sew in weave with leave out tutorial 's, braid pattern is spicy but I have a video in detail on how to braid it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g20Kpn...

I’ve never been so happy with my natural Sewin tutorial because I can make it as versatile as I want and as flat as I want(small braids). If you were curious about a diy sewin or how to do a natural sewin with Leaveout, I hope this helps!

I love versatile sewins because it literally looks like my hair, most people cannot tell and that’s how I like it;) I can wear this versatile Sewin weave in a ponytail, wear a side part sewin, a middle part sewin, it’s even more versatile than the vixen sewin! The only thing is that you can’t wear it in two pigtails! However, learning the basics of braiding your hair down and sewin it in leaves room for you to be flexible with another braid pattern, that you can wear in two pig tails :). I understand this is not beginner friendly, so if you’d like something a little more simple, I have an easier In between method that anyone can do! Let me know if you’d like that below!

I am hoping you all will be able to do a sew in yourself after watching, much love!

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, my name is gwen for those of you who are new here and the reason i look so crazy is because this is gon na be a watch me install my natural sew-in video. So if you guys haven't seen my last sew-in video, i will be sure to link that down below in that video. I do an in-depth tutorial on how i braid my hair. So, while i'm playing how i'm braiding the hair, i'm going to show you uh what i did here - okay, i obviously braided a perimeter braid and then i did a little section of braids next, i left out a row of hair because i like for my sew-ins To kind of be like in between sew-ins me personally, i just like the way that it lays so i always leave out a little bit of my hair. That way, if i wanted to part it right here, i could. I have two braids for the side and i brought those around and i have the same two braids on this side and my two top braids, which is right here. I did a u shape and i did it going around and i connected the two braids so that it hangs so in this video i did do the top braids a bit different. I think i did a little bit more, but i figured out to get it to lay as flat as possible, one to cornrow a line and then connect them, and i left them hanging and then this these two braids up here. This is my leave out. I decided to flexi rod so we're gon na get started with sewing in the hair and i'm gon na head upstairs because it's more lighting there, okay, so we are in business before the sew-in. You will need black thread. Then you'll need this needle and guys don't come from my nails. I am about to do a maintenance vlog, so i will be doing my nails in that one. Lord, really! Okay! Now you guys can measure the hair out to thoroughly match, or you don't have to so with my very first one i put my needle through the hair like so, and i put it on the corner, the corner of the bottom row. Now i want to just unhook it underneath the braid and i'm going to pull it only enough to where i can put it through this circle and then i pull it and that's how it's connected and to sew it down. I take my needle and i go through my braid and under the track, through my braid and under the track. So after three times, instead of pulling out the needle i take what's on the opposite end of the needle wrap it once twice and then pull that way, it kind of secures it with a knot right there and then i keep going like normal. So i do that every now and then normally in the middle of the track. Just so it kind of secures everything in place toward the end. I start going through the weft. Now some people hate that, but that's just what i do to secure it now when you flip the track, you want to make sure to get it as flat as possible. I flip it and then i put it through the track that way it lays this is really flat. Then i just keep going across um okay, so that was the end of the roast. So here's our first section very flat, i'm gon na just kind of tuck. This away now on to this middle portion, so i got two fairly long pieces may not be oh, it may fit across perfectly so take my needle the way you lock it is you take the other side? That'S not it. I spread it out like this and i pick up and i pick up the other thread and bring it through that that way it kind of locks itself and it ties a knot like this. So it's not going anywhere this piece and then i start uh sewing everything down now with this one. I do like to get two on each row. If i can then do the wrapping one time is fun so after to end it off, i did the knot. I just worked my way back up the track. I take this and i tie it like i'm tying, a shoestring okay, so we have our first row and first i didn't know what to think about the length. But i think this is going to be an okay length. Now we have to do a few more rows of this okay. So now that everything is in i'm gon na take out my in-betweens okay, now to the front pieces, wow whoa, the raid, all right, all right guys. I changed my lens and i'm shook. I am gon na go in and add a micro link, but i wanted to come here and show you guys what it looks like. So this is what it looks like and i left out those pieces so that, if i wanted to, if i wanted to part it right here, i could and wear it to the side. I think i am incredibly happy with it. I have not straightened it yet. So i know when i straighten it like it goes down to here straight, so i normally do my blow outs where i bump the ends up anyway looks like a lot of hair, but once you like put it up in a bun, you can get a really Tight button, you can have something like this super tight, so that's pretty much it for this video. I hope you guys enjoyed it if you guys did give it a like for me, because it helps a lot, and i will see you guys in my next video bye. You

Gwen Voloshchuk: Let me know if you guys want a simpler braid pattern for an in between Sewin:)

CiearraB: Prefect cornrows! I go through the weft as well it makes such a difference in securing the tracks in place and doesn’t shift. I’ll give this a try when I do leave outs.

Tam Tam: Beautiful work!! How did it take you to actually sew in the hair?

AshleyRose Vlogz: Good Job Gwen

Maryan Voloshchuk: Skilled
