All right so today, I'm gon na be showing you guys how I got gray hair, I'm actually filming this intro a couple weeks after I film the rest of this video. So my hair has faded, since the footage that you're gon na see I'm gon na try and make this intro super brief. Because if you're landed on this video, you probably don't care. You probably just want to know how to get gray hair, but the information I might tell you right now is important, so don't fast forward the results that you get depend on where you're starting from I had box black hair for over ten years. Just in the last four months, I've started to lighten my hair to get it to silver, I'm not quite too silver. Yet I'm at this gray shade, but I actually really like this gray, shade matter what hair color you have naturally or colored. You have to lighten your hair to a pale yellow shade before you can put any kind of gray color on top. If your hair isn't light enough, it's just not going to show up. Don'T even try trust me. I'Ve tried you're not going to get gray hair without having your hair light enough to begin with. So what that means is that, if you're, starting with dark, you're gon na, have to bleach it to get it light throughout the lightening process, I did not do that. Myself, going from black to blonde is a really intense process. I have two videos documenting my process. I'M gon na link those down below, so I'm not going to go in-depth about that at all. Just know that you have to lighten your hair before putting grey on, so I do have tape in extensions in right now. My hair naturally is about this short. This is a piece of natural hair. Super short. I'Ve had to cut off a lot throughout the whole process, but I also just like short hair. I did want to add a little bit of volume and length, so major shout out to rob Beauty. Christie Christie is who helped me throughout this whole thing. You guys will see her in the video. I could not have done this without her, especially the tape and extensions, so we're going to be showing you guys how to do the grey at home and also put in your own tape and extensions. It is easier if you have a second person to help you out. The reason I went with tape and extensions over clip in extensions is just for my lifestyle. I just don't picture myself clipping in extensions every single day now that I've had the tape and extensions in for a little over two weeks. I can say that I love them. There really isn't anything negative I can think of. As we said, hers lasts for about three to four months. It'S basically just as soon as you get that hair growth and they start a little bit more, just literally remove them. They are full-on in, like I could tug on my hair right now. I don't have to worry about anything falling out. The only thing you have to worry about is the tape showing you can get tape that matches your hair color, but since we had to start with a pale blonde shade of extensions and color them darker gray, my tape color is like a white shade. So I just have to make sure that my hair is fully covering it. It isn't really an issue unless it's like super windy and my hair is blown everywhere, but you can sleep on it totally: fine they're, totally flat. So unless someone is like massaging your head, they're not going to feel them if you place them and cut them right, I feel like they can look. Super natural Kristy also cut mine. I could not have cut them myself. So if you have a friend who can cut them - or maybe you want to put them in yourself and then go to a salon to have them cut them that could work super happy with him super happy with the results of everything. Thank You. Kristy Kristy was seriously a lifesaver I'll leave her channel link down below you guys should go check her out. She does like insane special effects. Makeup super talented she's, a good friend of mine on YouTube lover, go subscribe. I think that's everything I had to tell you. If you are new here, you can join the baby. Doe family and subscribe it'll notify you every single time and put up a new video. So if you want to see how I got gray, hair and puttin tape and extensions at home, you're in the right place, just keep watching so when I left the salon this last time. This is what I walked out of with pretty blonde change is not gray or silver at all, so I ended up adding some stuff to my hair. I basically added like three different things and I ended up with this. It is a shade of grey it just had so many different colors in it that it was hard to keep up with, and I also didn't like the root color they're, like kind of green as you can see, but when I went into Salon Christie, I came Out with this, so as you can see, we added some length also evened out the color and just got everything a really nice deep, grey shade, since I had so many different shades on my hair, and I wanted it just one tone that was easy to keep Up with - and we also had to match the extensions to my hair - we decided that it would be best and easiest if we actually stripped the color of my hair. So everything that's in my hair right now and it'll take it back to the blonde shade that it was bleached to at this lot. When I was at this lawn, I knew that she got it to a pale yellow shade. So if we stripped this color we'd be good to be back to the pale yellow, if you are also needing to strip color, this method worked really well. This is what Christie has done on her hair lots of times. We actually used vitamin C which you can get at the drugstore, and now I would not recommend getting these tablets. You need to get the kind that pop open and have liquid inside, because we literally sat here and crushed freaking tablets for like four hours, not exaggerating you can get powdered vitamin C already. If you can find that at a store near you buy just powder, vitamin C make sure it's straight vitamin C, not emergency or anything like that. I have super thick hair and I have a lot of it. So in my hair we ended up using a whole bottle of vitamin C crushed, crush it really fine and then mix it one to one with shampoo mix it up really well and then you're just going to fully saturate the hair. We left it on for about an hour, but just check your hair and you'll see it start to lift once it's done and you feel like you're ready to wash it out. Rinse it out and then put some purple shampoo on there just to tone out any brassiness and when you rent it out, it'll, look something like this. So as you can see, I am back to the pale yellow blonde shade. My roots are actually pink hair. It was hard to see on camera, but the roots turned up straight up, pink and pretty sure that was from the joy coke color that I put on them. I'Ve read that that can lift really weird when you try and remove color or bleach it. So here's the pink roots just so you guys can see. I was totally fine with a darker like shadow root, so I wasn't super concerned about that. We were just going to figure it out once we got there. So after I dried my hair. This is what my hair looks like now. My hair is super damaged because I've been bleaching it for months now. I know you don't have to tell me my hair bounces back pretty quick though, and I use old Plex and all that good stuff. So don't worry now we're going to go in with the gray, and for this I use the wellö 250. You can get this from Sally's and we're just going to mix this with 20 volume developer one to two well, its developer. Just follow instructions on the box and apply like you normally would all over the hair. You want to make sure every inch is covered. We decided to first put the toner everywhere, even on the roots, just to see how it turned and then, if the roots were still a weird color, then we would figure it out. But luckily, when I rinsed everything out, this is what we got it to so super cool. Like blueish gray, it looks different in every lighting, but I love the way the roots turned out. They actually turned out a really nice ashy, dark gray, brownie shade actually really like the roots and the rest of it was exactly the color I was hoping for so now we're going to go in with the extensions, so I'm gon na show you how we colored These and then actually put them in and blended them to match my hair and look like real hair, so I'm Anna from VP fashion. These are the exact style number I'm gon na link them down below. I also have a discount code for you guys. This isn't sponsored by VP fashion. This is just the extensions that I chose to try out. I went with these because they're known to be good for coloring and like fun, fashion, colors and stuff. A lot of extensions are treated with stuff. That just turns it weird colors and these ones are supposed to be like really good for coloring. So when you get them the 6:13, a comes in this pale, yellow shade actually cut some of them off to start, because I knew I didn't want to have to waste color on ends that wasn't going to need if you're going to be coloring tape and extensions. Just try and look out for the tape. You obviously don't want to get the tape wet before you stick them in your hair. It just won't hold as well, so I just used a rubber glove and wrapped a ponytail around there kind of just keep the water out a little bit. If you have any better methods, let me know down below this is just what I did so. The first thing I did - and you can also do this - if you want silver rather than gray - is just use a purple shampoo, put a ton on there and really work it through, and purple shampoo, just totally tones out that yellow. I actually recommend the Pravana purple. Shampoo over this one, this is like the cheap Sally's one, but the Pravana one is amazing. I used it on clip-in extensions and it worked way better, but this worked. I mean it just toned out the yellow and turned it to like more of a gray tone. As you can see, here's after so huge difference just with literally purple shampoo, I'm just gon na summarize this part for you, because I would not recommend doing this. Basically, what I did was put on the joy Co color, which was a mistake. It turned them like straight-up blue, which is what you're seeing here. This is actually after we stripped the color using that same vitamin C mixture. So if you get these extensions, just go straight to the well ot 50. After the purple, shampoo don't put anything else on them, so we're literally doing the same thing. We did test strands on my hair by the way and the extensions before we put any of this on and when we did the test strand on the extension and held it up to my real hair. It looked like almost a perfect match. So doing the exact same thing that we did to my hair, just mixing one to two Wella developer: here's a good tip because Christie's a genius - and I never thought of this before. But if you want to measure really easily use that same toner bottle for your developer, because it'll give the exact amount when you're trying to measure out developer and toner. So if you're, using two bottles of toner you're going to need four bottles of developer, if you're using three bottles, you'll need six bottles of developer, because it's a one to two ratio. So then you're just going to fully saturate the extensions just paint them on flip. It over these extensions are super thick, so make sure that you really get in there. We kept finding patches of like dry hair even after we thought it was completely saturated, so just really work it in with your fingers and the brush and move around the hair and make sure all those patches are covered. We want to get as close as you can to the tape without trying to get it wet, because you obviously don't want like blonde peeking through at the top it's kind of tricky. We actually got a couple of them wet, but the inside ones were totally fine. So we left the toner on for about 20 minutes. You'Ll see it start to turn colors rinse it out and then just dry it. So now we're going to go in to the actual tape in process. Christy puts her tape ins in herself, so it is possible. But if you have a friend who can help you out, it'll make your life a lot easier, especially if this is the first time that you're doing this we're going to peel off the tape and then just place your comb right directly below the tape. So that's kind of sticking to it and it'll just help hold it in there you're going to want to section off your hair, starting at about the top of your ear and when you choose pieces of hair to actually apply the extensions to make sure you get A really fine amount of hair, I got better shots in a second. So sorry, this is like cut out, but basically you're, going to sandwich two extensions together. So once you put that one on the bottom of your real hair, now we're going to sandwich it with one on the top. You want to place them about half an inch away from your root, so it's not too uncomfortable or anything, and here she is just putting that one on the top and just pressing down really good to secure it. The reason why you want to choose a really really tiny amount of hair is so that the tape is actually sticking to the tape on either side. If you have too much hair in there, it doesn't have anything to stick to when placing the tape. You obviously want to put it places that are going to be covered by other hair, so you don't want to stick one leg right of your ear, because there's not gon na be anything to cover that. So basically just find the spots that are more sparse and that you can like blend in with your hair section it off like we're doing here and then get really fine them out and then you're just going to keep applying the tape. In the same way, you can kind of take down the clip and see where everything is falling. If you need to figure out where to place your next piece of tape, but Chris you just kind of like worked her way from bottom to top. Here'S a better shot of how much hair she actually used and how she's placing the tape you can see that you can totally see the tape through it. So you really just want the smallest amount of hair and then use your finger to press down and make sure everything's secured and then just take out that comb, your hair is gon na. Look really long and ridiculous and not blend it at all. Until you go in and cut it, so that's: okay! It'S gon na look, pray for a little bit. Kristi said hers lasts for about three to four months. You can use the same hair. You two literally just remove it with like alcohol and then you can replace the hair. So you don't have to buy new extensions every four months. You just use the same ones. You can wash your hair the same, try not to place product directly on them. Like oils or anything, because that will just loosen the tape a little bit, but otherwise do everything normal. So here we go looking like Rapunzel. As you can see, you can see my short hair on the top. It'S not blended in at all, which is why you have to cut it to a length that still is going to look natural. So if you have naturally super short, hair you'll probably have to go about my length. If your hair is naturally longer than mine, you can go longer with the extensions because it's just going to blend better. I have no idea what Kristi is doing here, so I'm not even gon na attempt to explain Kristi cuts her own hair too. I don't know how she does it, but she's a boss by the way it was literally 3:00 a.m. at this point, so major props to Kristi. For being a trouper and finishing my hair, color wise, I feel like the extensions and my real hair matched pretty dang. Well, when she was done cutting we just curled my hair and then this is the final result, super happy with it. I think Kristi did freaking incredible Chrissy's, not a licensed hair professional at all. She just has learned all this and I just think it looks amazing. Better than any time I've ever gone to a salon, I love, I think she totally killed it. I would do this whole process again, recommend it to you guys. I want to you still using the t-50 to color my hair when I need it. So here's a little before-and-after for you, everyone loves it before and after okay. So that is how I got my gray hair. I did want to say that this color phase extremely fast, since it is a toner, it isn't a color. So it's not going to stay on like a color, even like a demi-permanent color to keep up with the color. I'Ve been using either the fanciful true steel wash, which is literally a wash out color. So if you're going to be like going in the rain or something don't put it in, but you just put it in with wet hair blow-dry it it stays on until you wash it next time. That'S a good option, but it's super temporary literally washes out another option which I love. These is a celeb luxury, color rinse. I mixed the silver shade with the pastel lavender, I'm going to link the exact ones down below, along with everything else. I used in this video, but those are freaking, amazing, they're, actually colored, depositing shampoos awesomely to keep up with any hair color, really they literally just deposit color. Every time you wash your hair with them, those have been a lifesaver, or else my hair would be like. Actually, blonde Brown right now hope this was helpful for you. If you have any questions you can leave them down below in the comments, don't forget to give this video a thumbs up if you liked it, you can subscribe if you want to be notified.

RawBeautyKristi: Love you girlfriend! I love the way it turned out, and I love how happy it made you! I had fun crushing tablets for 6 hours and all of our missteps haha! Hair is one of those touchy topics where everyone gets weird and angry about it, but hair gets cut, grows back and we can all move on! People saying "it would look better if" are all irrelevant. It's what YOU want and what YOU like. To get what YOU wanted; salons weren't gettin it done! We did! I think you look beautiful! ❤️

Taylor Wynn: First off, let's just all remember that this is hair, and it's not on your head. If you're leaving a rude unnecessary comment, it will be removed. Just because I make a video talking about hair doesn't mean you know everything I've put on my hair, treatments I use, or why I chose to do everything I did. I could not have lightened my hair myself, and if I did it all again I would go to a salon for the bleaching process. My hair was not light enough for silver or T18, we did a test strand. I love the way T50 turned out and am happy with the grey shade I have now. If you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say it. It's a waste of your time and energy. :)

Patricia Barber: Congrats, Taylor!! You had a vision, and you persevered through the steps to get what you wanted. Bravo! Ironically, I have just started coloring my hair at home.Right now my hair is a bright shade of red because I messed up the ratio of toner to color. It is time to color again, so I will get my brown/copper hair back. You have inspired me to consider extensions...

shannon west: Giiirl... get ready for the comments from cosmetologists lol. I've watched a ton of grey hair/ ash blonde tutorials and there's always so many angry comments. Live and let live! ✌ I'm glad you've finally gotten your hair a color you're happy with!

Skye D.: Even though it does look dry like everyone is saying, just from following you I know you definitely know how to take care of your hair after color. I'm sure it will be back to good health in no time

Cheryl Gann: Thank you so so much I have been working on trying to get the red out of my auburn hair as much as I can so I don't have to bleach as long, and I didn't even know about the vitamin c method. You're the best ❤️❤️

shellzebub: Looks fantastic! How amazing is Kristi, what a good friend

melanie Renee: So glad you finally got what you wanted! Looks great. I also do my own hair, have been for years. little tip, get some Pantone sleek and smooth conditioner. You may not have a lot of volume, but it keeps my hair healthy and no split ends. Also your hair will be so much easier to comb when you get out of the shower. My friend/hairdresser uses it too. thanks

Molly Ebinger: Taylor, I really liked this video! I think you always do such a great job of giving a realistic perspective of hair styling/care. I was trying to go through a similar transition to silver and the struggle is real even when trying to do it the "right" way by visiting a salon (as I know you know)! I'll have to check out these tape in extensions!

Cecilia Santana: This looks amazing I went through very similar steps to achieve a navy blue in my brunette natural color (lightening at salon, rest of it at home, etc.), and I'm very satisfied with my results. I fortunately didn't end up with too much damage. Despite the negative comments, Baeritos, you do you!

Rachel Wilis: I love the gray hair..I jus find it ironic that us "Older Woman" Constantly dye our hair to cover the gray and y'all younger gals dye your hair gray /sliver!! It's beautiful.. I'm jus not ready to go All Natural!!

novakate: Loving this color on you! Would love a video on what the upkeep is like! I have red hair and it's insane for me, so I'm always curious what other creative colors involve if you wanna keep them looking fresh in between coloring! Love your style ❤️

Virginia Reed: Thanks for this video (months ago but still!) I have been debating doing the t50 and my hair is all about the shade your roots were, gives me a great idea on how it'll turn out

Tina T: I love it! Thanks for sharing your process :) My daughter has teal hair but we're thinking of stripping and going pink. Had no idea you could use Vit C---thanks again!

Alissa Michelle: I love your hair like this!! I think people tend to forget that hair is just hair. It grows back and it's no big deal. I've done all kinds of shit to my hair and messed it up for a little bit but I don't regret anything. I'm pretty sure everyone who bleaches/dyes their hair doesn't expect extremely healthy hair at the end lol. Also I love how you ended this video

Kat Hope: "Everyone loves a before and after." So true love this video! Super helpful and fun! ps. I love this color on you, it's gorgeous. I'm glad you reached your hair goals!

Amy: I love that you showed the WHOLE process in detail, really informative!

Emese Baranyai: Taylor, you look really pretty with the grey color, but I think it doesn't worth all the damage.. :( Please keep us updated in your videos about your hair, I'm curious how much time it needs to recover. Love from Hungary!

Megan Madden: You can dye tape in extensions after putting them in. It won't affect how they hold in your hair, but the tape will dye a bit as well and blend better overall.

Ashley Kraze: I am astonished! I have went through beauty school and never knew vitamin C can strip color!

Angelica Torres: You are super gorgeous! Loving how your hair color is coming along and I love your curls/waves in your hair❤️️

Angelica Torres: You are super gorgeous! Loving how your hair color is coming along and I love your curls/waves in your hair❤️️

Charlotte Malone: I love your silver color- it really compliments your skin tone. A trick you may want to try- I have naturally medium (warm toned) blonde hair but prefer it to be a more ashy tone. Every week when I deep condition my hair I add some manic panic violet and blue dye to cool down the color. I works like a charm. May be something you may want to try.

blameitonablackstar: Your hair looks so pretty!!! Your friend did an awesome job!!! I love this color!!! I would really like to wanna see some vampy makeup tutorials with this hair color :) Like super dark berry/black lips and varying intensities of gray/black/deep colored eye looks.

Samantha: it came out so nice! the grey looks so beautiful on you. thanks for your snapchats lately you never know what you can say can help someone so much. ps would love to see a vid with kendall if not that's okay :)

Krystyn Lowe: My two favorite youtubers! Had to go back and watch your hair drama, man what a journey!

Danii Dougal: R and B hair moisturiser from lush was amazing for my hair after I went grey, I used a shampoo, a treatment, conditioner then argan oil once I got out of the shower and the r and b just on the ends :3 as long as your hair isn't snapping off when it's wet you'll be fine girl

tigerchicklet: Looks good girl, I have always colored my own hair and have almost always loved it. In the end it's just hair....people forget that part lol.

Beauty By Malinda: I love it! Looks awesome. I bleached my hair to pure white about a year ago and it got really fried. I used redken all soft and extreme shots to help. If you know anyone with a license they can help you get them. I have my license if you want I could send you some. I'm in Oregon so not too far!

LaShawna Blanton: She did an AWESOME job, she could open a salon it turned out looking great! God bless!Love,LaShawna

Deborah G: Your hair is a lovely gray!!! Awwww love krisit! She's a juggernaut man. Does it all. :)

Aja OBrien: I really appreciate you showing the middle not so pretty parts. so many you tubers cut that out. but it needs to be shown cuz it's the truth and a major process that you have to be prepared for.

Alli Walker: I don't even dye my hair or wear extensions, but I haven't missed a video in months and I'm not starting now

Kisha B: love this video!! I'm a hairstylist and can back up everything your saying about having to bleach it and everything.

poppy: She's amazing, she did a great job. I'm glad it came out so nice

Chelsie MacLean: That color looks excellent with your fair complexion. Love it!

mmanda515: LOVE it.... <3 Took a lot of time & effort I'm sure... (& as you mentioned, lots of steps) But, imho, .. it looks mahhhvelous dahhhling, simply mahhhhhvelous!!! Great job by both of you, LOVE the finished look. Your color, the extentions, the whole shadow-root... ALL = turned out great, imho. =) (couldn't remember where I had JUST seen something about those 'tape in's', since... not something I'd normally 'look up' on its own.. = Guy Tang showed giving them to Tori Spelling, on a Y/T video. Was quite an interesting watch... lol If you haven't, sometime.... fun channel. The neon/glowing under blacklight, holy hell.. idk why I LOVEEEEEEE that! ) Anyhooo.. thanks for sharing!!! (or even being willing to... pffft, great appreciation, huh? All that damn hate/negativity... criticism that adds nothing & helps no one... Idk me... I'd just poof, delete 'em.. solved. LOL ) ;) ~Live long(ER) & vape on! www.abillionlives.com #youarebeingLIEDto

Taylor Jenkins: Absolute hair goals, it looks so beautiful

piepie: Titanium from joico worked so well for me. I mix it with a few drops of sparks purple, and also some conditioner. Without the purple, my hair actually turns into that green grey I don't like because my base is also slightly yellow

Diane Welzel: Wow - this was an awesome journey!! I love the look of gray hair - didn't think I'd be able to rock it b/c I'm so fair but if you can, there's no reason I can't right??!? Love this!!!!

YT LogYt: Are you going to make a video about those white foundation mixers?? :O Have you tried the NYX one yet? I'm sooo waiting for your opinion on this, cause my skin is almost the same color as yours; very hard to find a shade light enough.. Btw, I absolutely love your gray hair

Diane Lewis: I was wondering how do you dry your extensions. I would like to share a product win you the Drying Net . It dries hair extensions.

C Brown: I would be interested in seeing a review on the Cover Fx Natural Finish foundation. :) I love your reviews, I try new foundations based on your demos! ♡

Hannah Lucia: Your hair turned out SO amazing!!!!

Kris Tibbs: Your hair color is just beautiful!! And silver looks tremendous on you!

Chelsie MacLean: Age beautiful cream lightener is a great product. It lifts up to 8 levels. I used it on my fire engine red hair and now I'm platinum. Only had to use it twice to achieve that level of blonde. I get it from Sally.

Tiffanie Padilla: Pravana purple hair mask works amazing, and instead of using wella toners (which are super damaging bc of how much ammonia is in them) you should use the ion vivid titanium dye. It lasts a super long time and I actually had to use a color remover to get it out and go back to blonde. Deep condition w coconut oil as often and as long as you can n your hair will bounce back soon.

Addys God's Princess: Thanks for the video and the info , love the final results

Jamie Nicole: Awe it looks so great on you!!!

Kayla Hebert: I've done the vitamin c treatment several times in my own hair to help remove red shades and it really does work SO well!!!

Sydney Lohner: Hello! i bleach and dye my hair constantly (its been blue for 5 years)and therefore it is very damaged. Nothing has helped more than using LEAVE IN CONDITIONER! if you dont want to buy it i recommend leaving regular conditioner in damp hair for like an hour before rinsing it out. i use herbal essence color safe Love your channel!

Ashley Moen: I've never known why people get so hostile over hair. They act like it's a personal attack on their livelihood when someone does something with their hair they they wouldn't. I used to dye my hair all the time. I once went from jet black box dye to blonde. And yeah, it was damaged. But with care it bounced back and my hair is now light pink, past the middle of my back, thick, and doesn't break, ect. It's been pink for 5 years now and I've heard every insult and "critique" in the book but at the end of the day it's hair, and MY hair. As long as YOU like it, it's nobody's business.

Seanna Miriah: I just recently got the Karacolor Clenditioner and it also deposits color. It makes my hair feel super soft, thought I mention that for ya. There's a deep grey one you might like

Fringe Beauty - Frugal Gets A Facelift: I love your grey hair, I wish I had the ambition to go this shade of grey but oh boy that looks like a lot of work. I guess I never realized how grey can be such a high maintenance colour.

Larkin Keithley: As a cosmetologist I appreciated that you touched base on the fact that when you use box color for a long time you are layering the color every time you color it. so it goes from light to dark. I try explaining that to people and they don't understand why it goes from yellow to orange to red. *face palm* I also appreciated that you touched base on that too much protein can actually break down your hair. so many people think they need to do protein treatments on fried hair multiple times a week and they don't understand why their hair is falling out. lol Overall I'm impressed with the knowledge and expectation you have. proud hairdresser over here.

Sage Pecas: Gotta give you props that is a lot of work and maintenance but it looks stunning

Sierra Nichole: I love every single hair color you have had but blonde and the grey is my favorite!!

Brianne Bugbee: Loving the extensions!

Jen Navarro-Vila: I actually missed seeing you with black hair!

Caroline Marie: Omg you & Kristy are 2 of my favorite people, how did I not know you had a video together?!

MokaTutu: I freakin love this color on you!!!!! Stunning!!!!

J. Cole: Question! I had tape in extensions and spent a LOT of money on them (as you know) I got them professionally installed and they lasted about a month before they got extremely tangled and it took hours to get them out of my hair (I even had to cut some of my hair to get them out) what did I do wrong/ what can I do differently next time?

Caroline Morris: love this video and the color! you look beautiful!!!

Emily: i feel like going this dark grey after getting so light was a bit of a backstep- but if youre happy then its all good! this color looks bomb :-) if you ever do go silver, i know you were having trouble keeping the blonde ashy- my rec is using that shimmering lights shit. i use it on my white/silver hair every time i wash it but my hair does take toner super well. so id rec purple shampoo masks since your hair is soooo thick (if you werent already doing this, which you probably were)

Cherry Blade: ooooh think I'm gonna invest in some tape ins. Been trying to grow my hair since forever. plus love the colour been looking at doing my hair silver just not sure lol

Chasing Life: Just started watching your videos, & I'm hooked! You've mentioned a vlogging channel but I don't see in linked! What is it?

Maddowdle3: I love how you look with this hair! Sorry about all the negativity. I'd delete all of it and not even bring attention to it. They can do their hair how they would like in the manner that they would like to do it. There's more than one way to go about it.

Chaka Adri adriena: I love it!

Brandi Munguia: I had box black on my ends for close to 4 years of bleaching and dying bright colors over it. Towards the last 6 months of bleaching the black, it finally started lifting to a light color but it never turned fully blonde. The last time we bleached it (my hairdresser and I) we left the bleach in for a few hours and ultimately ended up massaging the bleach in and it went from a light blue to a light pink and turned a light neon pink. The rest of my hair was platinum and that what I wanted all my hair to be. In the end, a few months ago, because i have lupus, I have a long Mohawk, my hair started falling out in patches over the course of a year and it was looking really thin since the majority of my hair was in the center of my head. So we ended up cutting my hair into an a line bob and cut out all the pink ends. I haven't bleached my hair again and have started taking vitamins and using a hair system to help stop hair from falling out and help new hair to grow. I've been using the system for 4 months but unfortunately my hair is still falling out. I think because it's from lupus and not from something I was doing to my hair, there isn't really anything I can do to help. But I was bleaching my hair, because I was changing the color every time, every few months for 4 years and I still couldn't get the black to turn platinum. We were using vegan bleach that is much more gentle on the hair so I don't know if that had something to do with it but my hair takes bleach really well and typically after 20 minutes my, ash blonde, roots would be completely platinum and it would take 30 minutes to bleach out any color from my hair except anything red based.

Hannah Salvato: So pretty ❤️❤️❤️

Sharon Barner: I absoultsly love your hair this color. You rock it.. totally doing this. Wish i didnt do my hair purple/black now lol even though i love it.. I had blonde hair. Anyway i also love that have the 15 days of foundation. I just came across them. Awesome idea. Foundation is the main factor of putting your face together. I myslef have bad skin so im loven all your video's. Your such a huge help and very inspiring. !! Keep on keeping on girl.. you rock!!. Thanks for all you do.

Katie Calvert: Love the extensions in your hair!

MakeupArtistMe!: Both the grey and black look gorgeous on you and suit you very well!!!!

LauraES: I never have luck with Wella. It fades completely out after a week even if I don't wash everyday. It looks great at first it just doesn't stay for me.

Charlie Anne: I'm severely allergic to hair dye and have the thickest hair ever so no need for extensions yet I still watched this cos I love your videos!

LindySellsHomes: It's cute! Folks, it HER hair. If she wants to color it polka dot, it's her decision. She is kind enough to show us her process.

Krystal Mead:

Steph Kuehn: Your skin looks great!

Ariell Tunnell: I love kristi!! ☺️

Amber Tee: You can also use ascorbic acid powder I think. It says it's a form of vitamin c

Elizabeth Potter: love it!!

MokaTutu: I have blonde hair but I would like it to be lighter (I already use a purple shampoo once every two weeks approx) so would doing that vitamin C trick help?

Dark Runner: I don't get why people are so rude about what you decided to do with YOUR hair. it's unreal. I went from 9 years of black hair to grey and purple

Danielle King: Your hair probably looked as dry as it did after the stripping and shit because vitamin C dries the absolute crap out of your hair. It bounces back after a couple good deep conditioning a.

Braden Hathcock: Are those color washes similar to the Arctic Fox dyes? I wonder if that would be a good option, seeing as though it's rather affordable. I am in love with your "Grunge Glam" style. It's so edgy. Ugh, you're just so chic. How is your hair now? Are you still using your L'Oreal hair mask?

Olivia Marvel: The Vitamin C is a great method, however it only works on deposit only colors & won't strip out permanent or Demi-permanent hair colors.

Lena T: when will you be doing another 15 days of foundation series?

ninientocalabas: love your new hair :)

Herandi Ortiz: I love your hair!

Taylor Crisano: Loving the grey on you! Do you ever miss your black hair?

Jessi H.: ✨

Kelly Quinn: Did these tape ins work well for you? did they slip really bad or did the hair feel like meh quality? I'm in the market for new tape in hair because I usually get them from my work but I wanna try something new

Steph Funwithlipstick: Super cute. Good job

Annette Faria: love it

Maquiagem para Eles: thatayla, pls could you test a Brazilian Foundation called Base Matte Vult?

Hillary Cooper: u look freaking amazing!!!!

kyla neskahi: Omg thank you!!!! I died my hair grey and want my pale blond back!!! I was done with gray....

thtfhuj tutu: You could have used the joico semi permanent steel dye over your hair before and foregone the terrible vitamin C! No damage/drying for the same color. If anybody is reading this that wants to try grey hair please check it out, it works on level 7/8 hair.

breezyj100: Won't you have to take the extensions out when you touch up your color? Or no?
