What'S up y'all, it's k, cheyenne, welcome or welcome back to my channel if you're new don't go too soon. Okay, we are on our way to 5k, which is so exciting. Um continue to take this journey with me, continue to grow with me and stick around for these good videos. Do you feel me so today we are doing a tape, in extension, install which i'm super hype about, because i've always wanted to offer this as a service and i'm finally getting into it. So this is a full voice over from start to finish. This service includes a wash a condition: a dry and a press, as you can see we're pressing now, if you are a stylist and your office in your salon that should come with this service. Okay, it is a full service. Um then you'll go in you'll separate her perimeter. As you can see, i've already went around to see where her leave out is going to be. You do want to ensure that you have enough hair out to make sure that the tape ends are covered. So just like a foundation at the top, if you're doing a traditional sew-in, you want to make sure that you have enough to cover up the tracks right same same concept, same ideas with tape and extensions. Specifically with this one, it came 20 to a bundle, but 20 is really 10 because you have to sandwich them right. So if you are purchasing or if your client is purchasing hair, make sure that it's doubled, because it's it's half really so, with the tape and extension you're going to go ahead. Take the tape off the top place. It right underneath the natural hair as close to the scalp as possible, go ahead and put their hair on top and then sandwich the second one. So that's why it's half, because you're making sandwiches throughout the whole head. I think we used a total of maybe 35 sandwiches. She had four packs, but we didn't use all of the last pack, which is okay. You want to have make sure you have enough hair, then not enough hair. Okay, when you're making your sandwiches and your placement get it close to the scalp, but not to the point where it's going to hurt them or damage the hair coming from the actual scalp right. So when you lift this up and test it, it should be able to move freely once the sandwich is complete. I go ahead and secure it with my thumbs, so your body, your thumbs, whatever has natural body heat, that's why i was able to do that. Instead of using my flat iron, i don't see the harm in using the flat iron. However, if it doesn't require it read the description. If it doesn't require it, don't do it just use your thumbs, your natural body, heat guys, make sure you go follow level. 27 luxury collection on instagram, we will be launching within the next few months. I'Ve been working very hard on my brand, i'm very excited about it, but to keep updates to know when we launch definitely go follow and you know again, it's about a journey right continue to take all my journeys with me. So i did skip a little bit, but when going from section to section, i do leave a good amount of hair out um, simply because right, it's just it's just a blending, basically um. So i mean, if you want, depending on how much volume your client wants. You can get more tape, ins in, but just i think it's a judgment thing on the stylus just knowing your placements and how much hair to leave out in between my client here has gotten traditional sellers in the past and she can't really deal with the braids Anymore, like the braids are too much for her, and you know her hair is finer. So you know the tape in extensions was like a perfect option because there's no tension, but it gives her the fullness. It gives her that look that she wants without having to go through the headache and not being able to touch her scalp and everything like that. So have those conversations with your clients looking at their hair texture, what will work for them as far as the install, maybe a traditional sew-in and the braids and the foundation just doesn't work and that's okay. Now one thing to keep in mind tape and extensions and eye tip extensions are not protective styles. All of your hair is out, but since they're not protective styles, it doesn't mean that it's not going to or it's going to stop the hair growth. It will still enhance or encourage the hair growth it just has to have a proper, install and a proper removal. The tape and extension technique is fairly simple. As far as the install it's really about your placement, one thing about your placement: is you want to make sure that they are brick laying so um? It'S fullness all over here's a better view, so i want to go ahead. Take off the tape place it under her natural hair, pull it down a little bit. Take my second part of my sandwich, pull up the tape and put it right on top go ahead and squeeze it down with my thumbs and then it's good to go at her sides. I started to do a little face framing, so it's fullness at the top. At her with her natural hair at the top, she does have some breakage and some shorter hair. So this is just going to cover it up really well is bye all right y'all we made it to the top. We made it to the top, so she is going to rock a middle part. I would still ask your clients with what parts you want to wear, especially if they're going to be wearing full tape and extensions if they were just getting some in the back, and you know they just want to fullness in the back. That'D be different, they can do a free part, but if they're getting the full tape and extension ask them where they want their part at so you can place accordingly. So i went ahead and you know, got her middle part together, see where we were going to put that and then i'm going to go ahead and add some to her side. So we can still have that fullness in her face. My this hair is 220 and 218. I believe when the hair came, it actually came in the pack and it was folded. So, that's why you see the invitation there at the bottom, but we're just going to go and give it some layers, so the curls can flow nice, especially in her face area and then we'll go in with our curling iron and style. Her up all right. We'Re going to complete the look by going in with some edge control all the way around y'all. This style is so natural is so beautiful. I absolutely love it. This is a perfect option. If you are opposed to the foundation, if you can't do the braids, your hair needs to be in good condition, though stylist make sure you have a consultation with your clients to know if their hair is healthy. I don't want to say healthy enough, but if they're going to maintain it well right because all of their hair is out, look at this look at that comb out. Oh my gosh! You got stuck in it, it's so beautiful, it's so natural, i'm very happy! We went in to cut it a little bit to give it that layer because it leaves nicely as well. It'S very full too so again be mindful of how much hair you are purchasing because it is half right. 20. Bundles is really 10 sandwiches. So make sure you have enough hair, i'm just showing here that she can pull it up and put it in a bun or a ponytail if she wanted to so remember that perimeter that we left out, that is all covering the tape and extensions. So make sure you have enough to leave out. I hope you all enjoyed this video. Don'T forget to subscribe, leave a comment like this video share it. If you have to do whatever you got to do and i'll see you guys in the next one thanks for watching you
