Shop jasmine j here, please, you will not be disappointed like at all at all. You will not be disappointed super cute, okay. Let me hurry up. What'S up y'all welcome back to another before i get started, if you haven't already don't forget to subscribe, like this, video comment share all that all that um. So let's get right into it. I am actually going to do my tape ends in this video yeah. So i already straightened out my real hair, never mind my kids in the background, but i already straightened out my real hair. As you can see um i washed it in everything and straightened it out, trimmed it a little bit. I actually have a little bit of like breakage here, um, just from me, transitioning from relaxer to non-relaxer, so me and my hair all over the place. I'M constantly doing something to my hair, cutting it off. Relaxing it growing it out growing out the relaxer, cutting the relaxer completely off short haircuts bobs. I just always have to do something with my hair, but i think that's me, being a hair, stylist and me showing my creative side um. I just i always got to do something to my hair but um. Before i get into me doing my tape, ins um, i did want to just say a few things about myself, so my name is jasmine j. If you don't already know - and i am a licensed heavy on the license - cosmetologist based in cincinnati ohio - i have been licensed for about seven eight years now before that i've always done hair i've done hair. Since i was well, i learned how to braid hair when i was nine and um yeah, i just always loved hair. I loved everything about the beauty industry, i've always loved makeup, nails, fashion, hair, um, everything about the beauty industry. I'Ve always been interested in at a very, very young age. So yes, i can say that i love what i do um. I do love it it's rewarding because i feel like i've met so many. So many wonderful women and i've gotten to a point in my career, where i go to work every day and i absolutely love it and all of my clients are just so dear to my heart, so yeah, but um also um, i'm a mom of three beautiful Boys and i have um two stepchildren as well and yeah. I'Ve been married for it'll, be 10 years in may so yeah. I know y'all, probably like you don't look that old. I'M not! I got married when i was 22 very young, very, very young um yeah. So that's a little bit about me, i'm trying to think is it something i'm missing, um real, chill girl super humble super sweet um, just real! I'M just me! I don't try to be anybody else, but myself and um. I feel, like i, put out a lot of good energy, a lot of good, so god really blesses me and puts all that back into my life, so yeah, i'm truly blessed and um yeah. Just you know trying to build a legacy for my kids and um. Just a hard worker, i work hard. I know how to rest, though, i'm not with the whole hustle hustle hustle until you broke down. No, i will take a nap, i will rest and sleep but um. I do work very hard, um everything that i do. I give it 110 um, you know i have my days. Where gets to me, it gets rough and i might you know, cry scream a little bit, but i pick myself up and i keep going so yeah, it's just a little bit about who i am and um what i do so yeah, let's get right into it. So i'm going to be doing my tape ends. Like i said tape, ins are really really really taken over um. I actually started doing tape ins in like 2015 2016. When i worked at a salon called soto salon on the ohio and um. They were super super popular there, so everybody that came in would get tape. Ins um, so yeah, i'm actually selling hair - and this is my hair here for tape, ends which i will link if you guys are interested in not only tape ins. I sell, but i also sell bundles, but this is the loose wave, um raw, indian, so yeah you guys can see how good that is, it doesn't shed, doesn't tangle a lot. Um really really really good hair raw hair is always the best honestly. I don't really do anything but raw hair, because it's not like that super processed hair but yeah. I took this one off already, because i was at work and sat and put two tape. Ins up here. You can kind of see at the bottom here but yeah. I was just trying to see how it looks so i put two tape ends here, as you can see, and i actually really like them like they are so flat and so undetectable. And if i switch my part which i'll show you guys once i'm done. But when i switch my part to a side part, it's super flat. If i do a ponytail like earlier, i had a ponytail when i went to the gym super super flat. So that's why i really like tape ends. I also do micro links as well. The eye tip and the um braidless, which i love, don't get me wrong. I absolutely love. Love love the eye tip and braidless, but with the eye tip having all those little pieces in your hair can get very annoying having to actually feel it or when you go to brush it or put in a ponytail, it can be very annoying or irritating does Not pull your hair out if it's done by a licensed, professional and also um, if i only do them all like super thick hair, because if you want length get the eye tip, but if you have fine hair, i do not suggest you get them, because you Will lose a lot of hair because of how many pieces you have to put in with the tape ends? Um, i have done them on fine hair and there has not been a problem. Mind you. I do have professional products. My clients do come in every two to three weeks to get them washed and styled so keep all of that in mind. Don'T get microlinks or tape ins and not go back to a professional to keep the maintenance up because then you will see. Okay, i'm gon na lose hair, so just keep all of that in mind, but yeah. I will link my hair um in the description box and i think i have a 20 inch and a 22 inch so yeah let's get started. I think i'm going to start over here or maybe i should start in the back no i'll start over here so yeah and i'm also going to leave enough hair out to where i can put it in a ponytail and it not be um. And then not. You know and it'd be flat and then not look crazy to where you can see the tapes, but my hair is really really thick, as you guys can see. I have some super super super thick hair, so i don't have to leave a whole lot out y'all. I am used to doing my own hair. I do my own hair all the time, don't like it as much as i used to, but i do it all the time and um yeah it's the older. I get the more. I just don't enjoy it as much as i used to, but um yeah. I'Ve never done tapings on myself. So don't judge me now you'll see how how this goes in the end, but yeah, i think it'll be cute. Okay. So, like i said, i really don't suggest you guys doing this on yourself, but i wanted to do a video because i'm a licensed professional and i just wanted to - i knew i was going to do them anyway on myself. So i was like why not okay guys, so i'm literally just taking the tapes and removing the plastic that are not the plastic, the little piece that um covers the adhesive and adding them in it was really hard getting all the parts straight and you have to Have like as little hair as possible so that both tapes stick together, really good. That was really the hardest part for me, because i thought i would have a little bit of hair between the tapes, but it would be a lot so i would have to literally keep removing some of my hair that would be in between the tapes. But yes, that's what we're doing here and then i would just take the comb comb it out a little bit and i did this straightening process with every piece, so i wouldn't have to go back through when i was totally done to do it all. I just felt like it would be easier if i did it as i straighten it out as i went but yeah mom are you done? You know my four-year-old thinks that he keeps asking he knocks on the door every five minutes and says mom? Are you famous yet he thinks that, since i am on youtube that i'm just automatically famous and i'm like baby, no, that is not how that works. He is so funny. Wow yeah this. This is gon na. Take me so long so long for me, i don't like spending a lot of time on my hair, because i'm doing it all day, so the least time i can spend on my hair the better, and i think this one is it no. No. I think that one's actually perfect yeah. I think i want to put like one here just because i do not like this little short piece here, but i got ta make sure i can cover this yeah it'll cover my thickest hair um. Also, usually, when i do these, i use about um 80 pieces, which is like 200 grams per head. I usually do like 80 pieces. I will only do um like 100 or 120 if they have like super thick hair but yeah. I usually only use like 80 pieces yeah that'll cover a hair, video, a hair video. No, it's just gon na be down that's much better, yep, much better, so yeah! You can see how much fuller that is in the front and then once i put the ones in the back, you'll really be able to see that fullness and i did put heat protectant on my hair before i got to doing all this putting heat on it. So yeah, you can just see how much fuller from this side. Just those i think i put six pieces just those six pieces are so yeah. I'M gon na work our way to the back. So what i'm gon na do is leave hair out around my nape and around the sides so that i can pull it up and i can kind of show you guys how easy this is to pull up and how flat it is. So you can see. Look at that! Look at that honey see how flat that is, and then, if i pull it like this yeah, so that is how it looks in the ponytail and how flat it is. That'S really pretty much why i love taking because they're so flat wait. Why did my screen do that, but yeah super cute super sleek, okay, yeah, let's get to it! I'M gon na do this side. Looking like a betty um, i play too much yeah. I actually think that i would like these and enjoy them more than i thought, because i like having my hair out, but i also like having like oldness and length with me growing out my relaxer and transitioning. My hair was so pretty and full even with a relaxer. I just naturally had really thick full hair. So with a relaxer, my hair was still nice and thick and healthy, but i just missed my natural curl pattern, but it's just a lot harder to manage, because i like wearing my hair straight. I really don't wear my curl pattern, but i feel like i would like that option like i liked that option to do straight or the curl powder and um yeah, with my hair being um with my hair being natural. It just was really hard to wear straight and even though i'm a hairstylist, i know i have to train my hair. It'S still annoying because i like running straight so, but i know i can train it and get it to stay straight. Even with me, working out like i can train my hair and make it stay straight, so i'm like i just need to do that to keep, because i don't want to get relaxers for the rest of my life and even though i was only getting them twice. A year i just i don't want to have to get them the rest of my life. No, it's not cool, so my so so so do so. I am absolutely loving how it is looking so far. Yeah super cute super full. Of course, i'm gon na do like some face framing, because i want it to look as realistic as possible. I really like no face framing if it's like middle part straight bone straight real sleekish, but i like to wear middle part curls, i'm a curl type of girl, so i'm always doing curls and we're gon na slide this down here, yeah. So i'm always doing curls and with curls. You really have to excuse me. You really have to um have layers because it just makes the curls fall better look better. This looks like a wig freaking wig. That a good thing is that a bad thing, if you get told your hair, looks like a wig like. Is that a joke, or are you saying that i have really thick full hair or you think that my hair is ugly but most of the time it would be a compliment? I guess a cute wig, but back then well, it's not even back then, because i feel like people still say that that's a good thing. I guess i make cute wigs. Oh ciao, yes, hair! This is super cute. I think i'm good over here. Maybe i can put no, i think, that's good, okay, so y'all. So i did. The left side did the right side and, as you can see, they are looking so good. So far i really really love the flatness of it. As you can see, yeah girl super cute. I'M super cute. Okay, sorry you guys my camera died. I had to get the charger but yeah, as you can see. I did both sides super flat, super cute, so yeah, let's get started on the back, i'm actually really over this already. This is bad because i have so much to do in the back. Okay, maybe i should scare the so so so i'm going to finish the back of my hair and because it's going to take longer, i'm not going to record all of it but yeah, i'm going to finish the back and then get back on here with you Guys when i am done to show you the finished product and i'll just go ahead when i'm done and style it on camera, so that yeah, you guys, can see so i'll be back now, don't judge me, i can't see the back of my head. So i don't know exactly what it's looking like back here, but i'm just going to show you anyway, so yeah. I literally have them like all like here. You can see how flat smooth it is and i'll show you guys a ponytail and everything once i get this all straightened down again, because i've never done it. Even though, like i know i can do my own hair really good. I just felt like um. I know what i don't want it to look like, so i hope it don't turn out like that. I hate that feeling, though so the whole time, i'm doing it i'm like well, you know i can just take it out if i don't like it, but when i tell y'all i have literally been doing my own hair since i was like what grade was. I am when i my mom, i remember the exact hairstyle and everything she let me do. I think i was in like ah third grade and i remember wearing it to school and it was the weirdest hairstyle ever, but i thought it was cute and my mom was like i was like. Can i please just wear my hair like this and she was like you know what, if that's what you want to do, then that's what you want to do, and i remember just feeling so cute and feeling like. Oh, i just did something. I literally was like eight years old and i went to school and i remember: oh my god, what was my friend's name. I cannot remember her name, but everybody liked it and my friend we went to the bathroom she. She asked me to do her. Hair like mine, and it was a crazy hairstyle y'all like it was like, i want to say it was like two ball balls like right here like twisted with like balls at the end, and then i don't even remember what the rest of my hair was doing, But she definitely liked it and a couple other people but yeah my friend was like. Can you do my hair, like that, and i used to do my sister's hair all the time she's a year older than me, and i would do her hair but yeah. So i've literally been doing my own hair since the age of eight experimenting, because my mom, she wouldn't have it all the time, but she definitely let me be me and experiment with my hair and do what i wanted to do. Sometimes she would not all the time. Oh, i have a piece of my hair cut that did not feel good honey, but these actually stay in for eight weeks so and my birthday is in june, so i will be getting these taken out before my birthday, because i want braids yeah. Who is she look at this, like? I literally, never wear straight hair, oh cute, cute. Let'S try to see this look at this show look at this girl, so yeah y'all. This looks so good. I am so happy with how it's hard now yeah. So there you have it folks and i'm just gon na, like frame my face a little bit, but i want to show you guys before i do that what it looks like super flat and cute side, part y'all, i'm in love like what the hell who is She i'm literally in love totally. Oh yes, i can't wait to put some curls in it, but i think i'm gon na wear it straight for a couple days. I might not go to the gym tomorrow because i do not. I don't want to mess it up and every time i go to the gym, i'm done i'm done until the weekend and then i might just still be ugly because i don't even really go anywhere unless i'm going on a date or taking the kids somewhere. But when it's cold and rainy i like to be in the house, so i don't do anything to my hair. This is so freaking cute y'all, like what? What who is she no seriously like? Who am i because girl and y'all, like i said, i'm gon na link this hair? It is jasmine, j, hair. You can order this pre-order this through more but yes, honey. This is everything, do a ponytail for you guys real, quick and then we are done like i'm a new person right now. I'M sorry! I need to take my butt a bit. I like how i can reverse the part yeah i'm in the i just cannot. I cannot right now yeah what what what who cause who who you talking about cause you're not talking about me. Oh my gosh, like i'm literally in love yeah. This is this. Is it for me, y'all, look at the flatness look at that! Look at this flatness honey, look at the flatness and i am natural about this much natural wow. I don't know why i'm acting surprised like i don't do these on my clients, but to do this on myself. I'M i'm impressed i've impressed myself very much so so. Yeah y'all come get y'all here done, come, get y'all tapings and stop playing with me. No i'm loving it. John super cute super cute. Okay.
