How I Braid My Bangs With Short Hair

I get asked a lot how I braid my bangs. I am by no means a professional but just sharing how I do it! Hope it helps you! :)

Thank you for watching please subscribe.

Okay, hi everybody. The time has come. I have been begged by so many people to show you how I do the braid in my hair on my short hair. So I am going to show you that real quick, I just got ready for the day, made a video on how I quickly get ready for the day my whole morning tonight routine. So I just was like hey. I might as well do that one right now! You can probably hear my kids screaming in the living room, they're playing an air hockey game, so it's very loud and they're, so sorry about all that, but um real quick. I just want to show you how I do this um. I found these awesome bobby pins like a great bobby pin, is everything to me like one that will actually hold your hair. I have very, very thick hair, so very few bobby pins will hold my hair, but I found these my actually. My mom found him for me. She got him for me at a boutique. It was like 20 dollars for this little thing of bobby pins. It actually is two of each color and then this was on a different one, but most the time. I use this one. Just because it's neutral and it matches pretty much everything, but I just use a really really good bobby, pin find yourself a good bobby pin um okay. So I section off like this right here, and this is all I'm really going to work with. Is this little front section of bangs right here, so all I do is I kind of tilt my head this way I am no hairstylist and I'm definitely no brighter. I can't do this to anyone, but myself. So basically I take these three sections right here and I just start my braids and I work back so I start this way. I do that one and then I do that one and so like I just tilt my head sideways literally, because I can't even do a French braid yell, I swear and then, when I'm at this strip. Normally I would put that over, but I'm actually going to grab this piece of hair and then I'm going to put it over and then I'm going to turn that one over okay. So any time I'm at this piece, I just grab the next little chunk of hair. Okay, I just keep braiding and then I usually stop so I'm at this piece again. I usually stop like about right here. Oh my gosh, my kids are screaming. I'M sorry so I usually stop about right here and I pick up that last section of braid and I then I just start braiding it. Okay, like a normal braid, and I just do a little bit, not all the way to about like right here. Okay, so see, I have a really tight braid. That'S not so cute right! So I have this right here then I pick up this section of hair because I'm actually going to pin it underneath my hair and then the trick is, I start pulling this and stretching it and loosening the braid okay. So I don't have it really tight in my hands right here, but I just start wiggling this and wiggling it to get a nice loose braid instead of a tight one - and I take this first little piece right here and I pull it so that it gives Me some height right there, okay, so see. Look, I have a really loose braid. Actually so then I take that and I pull this hair back and I kind of fluff it up and the spot that I want and I really need my roots redone right now. So normally this would all be like blonde, but it's kind of dark and then I just stick it where I want it back in here and then I just keep loosening this. You know kind of wiggle it and get it loose instead of tight, and it all starts with this base piece right here, so I get it where I want it. I take on a really good bobby pin and I stick it back in there and so it's pinned in there and then I just lay this hair over it. And then I work my crown. You know I'll backcomb this or something and get a really good crown going, and then I just kind of go and fix it where it needs to go and where it's going to look best. This may be kind of a sloppy one, but honestly sloppy braids are kind of at that right now so um anyway, I would just like back home this get this to where I want it and then spray it very simple, very easy. It gets that big chunk of hair right out of my face that drives me crazy, so um anyway, it's kind of odd to it hope that helps it is kind of sloppy and messy, and my roots need to be done really really bad. But that's how I do it, so I literally just turn my head sideways and then just pick up that piece every time and then I just start loosening it pull from the base right here and loose and loose and loosen get it in the spot. You want. Pin it work with your crown right here: spray it in place and voila braids. So hopefully that helps you guys, thanks for watching
