2021 Hairstyles For Short Hair & Styling Curtain Bangs!

Guys welcome back to my channel today, i'm going to be sharing with you guys, some short hairstyles for the new year, i'm currently growing out my hair. I am getting in the awkward phase right now. It'S just bad. This is my hair. Naturally, this is what it looks like for my bangs. I have been doing like the curtain style bangs, so i'm very lucky that those are in style, as you can see. They'Re like pretty long um, normally they're like to here so they've grown quite a bit. But when i get out of the shower, i normally just clip my bangs. If you want, if you're, if you have short long bangs like me, and you want to wear them off to the side, this is what i recommend doing for that curtain style. Look. I keep them like that, so i make sure they're kind of out like this, and then i pin them only use two tools in my hair routine, which is my one inch curling iron from hot tools. This is with the clamp and then just a basic straightener. This is my eva strainer. First, i'm spraying my hair with a heat protectant from eva. I curl my hair just about the same every day, but it just turns out differently every day it never turns out the same. It looks different every day. Sometimes it looks good. Sometimes it looks bad for the sake of this video. I hope it looks good my curling iron and i hold it vertically. I just clamp twist pull down um you'll, see what i mean clamp the other way twist pull down. I have a ton of videos on how i curl my hair, but there's so many different ways. You can actually curl your hair, especially with short hair, and i get a lot of questions about like my hair texture and all of that um. So for the texture, this is it naturally, it's like wavy straight and my hair is also really really thick. I have the thickest hair ever i feel like people are like. What do i ask my hair stylist for your haircut. I think the best thing to do is just to take a picture in and be like, like this and based on your hair, texture and based on how thick or thin your hair is. They will adapt to it, but it's literally just it's a bob. That'S all it is it's a bob and then for my bangs, it's again different every time, but basically just a little bit heat like at the root and then at the bottom kind of go out. So they curl in this direction, pin them together, and i just let them sit right there after straightening them, i let them cool right there, and that is how i will normally just style. My hair super simple, very easy to do and if you have bangs this way then great you can do it either way, but i'm really liking the curtain being look like this, but if i want something different i'll just add a headband and i'll leave. There'S a few ways you can do it, you can leave some pieces out and then like that and then, if you want all your hair back well, not all of it. I don't like putting all my hair back, but even just like this much i like to leave a few pieces out. That'S just me another hairstyle that i love is very simple. Just your basic top knot and i love having it still split down the middle. Take a few pieces out if you want to just have it be messy another hairstyle i've been loving, is like a half up. Half down look, so i just loosely like by my eyebrow line. Take some hair and i will just take bobby pins because my hair is so thick. I need bobby pins just like two to three bobby pins. It depends on how thick your hair is, and then i take a really cute clip and just clip it all together. Now today's hair is second day hair and it actually gets a little bit. Frizzier um i lose the curls a little bit more and my bangs are pretty oily, so i'm actually just using some dry shampoo and again all the products will be linked down below these. Next, five hairstyles: these are hairstyles that don't require heat or ones that you want to wear the next day. But you don't want to redo your hair for the first one um i just like to do a little french or dutch braid. I don't know exactly what braid this one is just taking pieces from the front right here and then i tuck it behind my ear i just bobby pin. It is just not long enough for me to get all of my hair into side braids. So instead i opt for this look, i take a few pieces out and then so you can do it two ways you can either have it down. You can also just take a scrunchie and just pull the rest into a ponytail or a low bun and again i have to take bobby pins. Next. Hairstyle is one that i think is going to be a big trend in 2021, and that is pigtails. I'Ve been seeing it all over social media lately and i think that's going to be a next trend. Um 2000's early 2000's y2k year they're coming back in style, which i never thought would happen, but it's coming back in a cute way. Instead, i'm gon na do them up top like a half up pigtail and i'm just taking small elastics. This one is so easy and i feel like it's great for second day hair um. I remember when space buns were a thing, but that's like it could you can do that totally if you want to but space buns, i feel like i personally can't pull them off, so i'm just gon na stick with the pigtails all right - and this is for This next hairstyle is for people who want the low pigtails. I just i don't really go straight down the middle, but add it all together and i like to make it a little messy. I feel like very, like britney spears hit me baby, one more time vibes you know, bus hairstyle is very simple, and that is just a high ponytail um half up, though so same as when i did the top knot. I take it all together with my scrunchie, but instead of doing a bun, i just put it all together. Pieces are gon na fall out, so i just let them fall out.
