Hi guys welcome back to my channel so today, I'm actually gon na. Take you through step by step guide, how to cut your own fringe. If you don't have any French at all or if you have like little long fringe. Like me, I'm gon na show you how to make them into a full on fringe and to be fair. I'M only doing this, for you guys guys I kind of got bored of my French, because I had them for a really long time and I was very excited to grow the month. But because this has been a request, that's been standing on my list for a very long time and has always been requested. I figured today's the day from doing this, for my guys and doing this for you. So please please, please, please, if you can't just give it thumbs up, because it means a lot to me, and I love you to do that. If you can't, if you don't mind, please so yeah, but if you want to see how to cut your fringe. Alright, you guys so, as you can see, my hair is quite long, but we're not gon na be touching this part of the hair at all, so that doesn't matter, but I'm gon na show you the things you need to do this because there's a few things You do need first, is a skinny comb or like a reptile tooth comb, anything that can like really precise the section of your hair. If you can do it with your finger is great, but you know I like being slow and dropping stuff and I like being secure and having like a little help of one of those. Then you will need hairdressing scissors, not kitchen scissors, hairdressing scissors, because they're not the same in you don't want to damage your hair. If you do this might as well, do it right, and these guys are not really expensive - you could get them from like drugstores for not a lot of money and plus, if you're gon na have friends, you'll probably want to touch them up. You know to make sure they're at the same length all the time I have to do it about every Dunham's. Today'S two weeks, just because my hair dryer grows really fast, and I liked my French a little bit longer so yeah get these and you'll have them for a long time and they're good. I, like them so yeah get. Some of these then also you're gon na need two little hair clips. Just because we need section off your hair. You don't want the rest of your hair to get mixed match with this here, your cutting, so these will can help you, you know, have security in place and then also just a clip it again and I could poor they had to move the rest of your Hair out of the way, if you have short hair, you could probably skip it. And finally, you want your fringe area that you're gon na cut to be wet so use just a hair mist or I'm just using like a hair mist. A water mist amends it, but I'm using your hair mist. This one is my new skin. Is the NABC a moisture mist? It'S really lovely. I like it to hydrate my face as well, but we're using it for the hair today so yep and I think that's all I need make sure you also doing this in a good area where you don't mind getting hair all over the place. I'M doing this in my bedroom pala, not the smartest thing ever but doesn't matter. If my lighting is here, how won't you get to see what I'm doing so? We'Re sacrifice the bedroom a bit. A lot of I can clean later, but yeah, alright. So the first thing is to section off your hair, which isn't the easiest thing ever, but there's a few rules I like to follow it. Usually it turns out good. So what I do is like I check where the hair line is, and then I do like 3 fingers from the top, where my hair starts are watched here and I put my comb there and I brush it up and that's kind of what I need to Cut and then following I can, you can see the line here. I just go straight down to my ear like to the start of the ear, so you can see it. I kind of diagonally pulling it to the front and I'm gon na section off that hair and we're not gon na cut all this hair, but I'll explain it later so been about here going down to the ear the front where my cheekbone starts and I'm gon Na push, I'm sorry to keep looking in the little side when mirror just because I want to make sure that any you guys can see what I'm doing and be. I don't caught up something, I'm not messy so right. So now you have this thing right here and it's nice and section off and well that is good, good life, good things and here everywhere book prepare yourself for that now you want to take your missed section off your hair. That'S all good! I'M gon na take my mess and I'm gon na wet my hair without trying to ruin my makeup. It'S possible right, so the hair is not wet and what I'm gon na do now is like brush it all to the front and then from the top. I'M sorry if my mare is underway, that's what I'm using actually right now, I'm gon na go from the crown and take the top section in a straight line or the hair. I'M gon na cut like this and pick it up. I'M not sure if I did a good job here. Let me check yeah that doesn't matter. So this is the top section of your French, which is gon na, be slightly shorter than the one on the on the bottom, and that way, you're gon na have a nice fade from, like you know, a lot of different layers and all that, so I'm just Gon na take that connect it. I should take one of these little clips. I used before all right, so this is all nice and section out now and we can get into the cutting first. If you has really long like mine, you will first need to go in like horizontal motions, but keep in mind that it has to stop where your arch of the brow is it just kind of following your natural features to make sure that the fringe actually flatters. Your face, so my arch is about here some just gon na like skip that part and I'm gon na go very low. I'M not gon na cut my fringe very short at first, because I'm gon na go back. So here we go cut, wait, cut, cut, try getting this someone somewhat straight, but you know how to be too perfect about it, because we'll go back in a second anyway, so cut and here's my again tail of the brow. The arch is there, so I'm not gon na go past that point, so you kind of have a friend right now, not really but kind of, and what you do now is turn your own scissors like this. So it's kind of like 90 degrees from where you were before, and you're gon na go up and just kind of go make short little strokes at Sun. You can have a very straight fringe if you like it. I prefer mine to be more natural. So just you know not just straight sorry: I'm doing this song really focused on it, but yeah just go up and snip and snip. This will make a really cool effect, with your fringe and snip and snip snip, and now it's time where you want to go back and make sure it is all nice and in life and I'm full hair doesn't matter, look how much you have to do its Kind of see where your the rest of your hair is falling and you want to kind of do the same motion to the sides. Just so, it fades into the rest of your hair really nicely if it's not just like a piece of hair on your forehead and that's it so I'm just gon na go on the side way. Gently and gradient Li make them drop to the rest of the hair, so I'm only literally just a few strands of hair. That'S only what I'm doing nothing more than that, because I don't want to look crazy so, but that and that's probably why I'm gon na stop so but the edge of the brow where you come to the end. That'S where you should probably stop here and again. Just brush it up like that now, what we're gon na do is release the beast from the top stuff section: get it down and again you have a whole mess, but you can kind of see from underneath now where the fringe is, and you can just kind Of take the sections they're long, you can kind of brush through it to get the other piece of to drop like that, hold it at the end, and then you just want to go like up at it. There goes here yeah. This whole thing is pretty much about just getting the feel for your hair and where everything is meant to drop, it's really really easy and it gets even easier when you do it and you will see when you do it like where's. What strand meant to be just keep like going back and like kind of seeing where you are? How does it look from for me right now? I would say that this part there's too much hair, so I need to cut a bit it's some more. So, what's left to do now, what I usually do now is: go blow-dry, my French stylet and then once your hair is dry and set you'll, see how it fades in with the rest and you'll really be able to. I can get my clips. Are. You will really be able to see how it looks with the rest of your hair and if it's, even because, when it dries everything kind of lifts up, so I'm gon na go. Do that now and I'll be right back and we can see if I need any other touches, alright guys, so I just blow dried my fringe pretty much, and that ends up the whole thing. If you see any little like pieces of hair sticking anywhere just go in the scissors back in and if you don't like the shape of this, you know you feel free to play around with them. You know make them longer one side than the other. It doesn't matter whatever works for you, you just do you so yeah. I like it like this, I'm not gon na change. Anything else. I think. Maybe I can straighten my hair, just let me with it but right now I kind of like it. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I'M gon na remind you again to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. If you haven't already and I'll see you in my next video bye,

F. Castillo: Who else is bored during quarantine and wants to cut their own bangs lol

TMY rose: HI Adriana,I'm 55 years old and use to always have my bangs fringed like this. A few days ago I had my daughter cut my bangs because they were hanging in my eyes and I didn't want to go to a hair salon just to get my bangs cut and styled. When my daughter cut my bangs she twisted them and then cut close to a inch of them off but they were so uneven and flat. Now I'm a person who can't write a straight line on paper without lines on the paper first. So I watched your video and decided to be brave,if I messed them up they will grow back is what I kept telling myself.I gathered my combs and clips.I watched this video and would stop it after each step you gave and I used plain water to keep them wet. When I started to cut them straight across I was shaking but I did it! The next step where I had to hold the scissors upward to fringe them I thought I'm not going to be able to do this,by the time I finished there was hair all over my bathroom sink but my bangs look like I paid a hair stylist to cut them! They looked straight ,were out of my eyes and had bounce and body to them.I usually use a round brush on them to give them a lift which I did and they look so much better and feel so much better.I have to wear glasses usually all the time now but had to take them off and still they came out great.I wish I would have had someone video taping me as I did it but it's late and everyone is in bed and I'm not sure how to even send it to you.I just want everyone to know if I can do it they should be able to do it and to those comments saying this is the wrong way and doesn't work, you are so very wrong cause it does.It took me less than 5 minutes to cut and fringe my hair for the first time in my life.I will never have to pay someone to cut my bangs again and the next time I need to trim them I will have someone video tape me and send it to you. Thanks for teaching me how to fringe cut my own bangs.

Mazzy M: to anyone contemplating whether or not they actually want to cut bangs: DO IT many people told me i would regret it and guess what? i just cut them and love it! even if u don’t like them, atleast you’ll know bangs aren’t for you and won’t think about doing it again HAIR GROWS BACK YA ONLY LIVE ONCE

smiswilson: Wet hair + cutting a fringe= bounceback and a lot shorter length then anticipating. Dont cut wet

Kristina Isakovic: I never had fringe before, it turned out sooo good! I am in love with my new hair! Thank you!

Beatriz Castro: Thank you for the video! I was able to cut my bangs perfectly by following your video! <3 Keep up the good work!!

Sigma Vitali: Adriana, thanks for your tutorial, very relaxed presentation. I enjoyed it. I followed your instructions exactly and my bangs are bangin’! This is the first time since I was six that I have given myself bangs and I was a little nervous about it, but thanks to your can do attitude i was able to cut my own hair without paying $35 for a stylist to do it. Thank you! One minor critique, your introduction was a bit long.

Gayathry: I cut my own bangs after watching this video and I don't regret it!!! I love it. If y'all confused about cutting your bangs, just go for it. This video was so helpful and ngl I look cute

Ashlee Wagner: It worked. Thank you so much! They look great. Better than any salon bangs I've gotten. Love it ;)

Ez S: Great video! I followed it to cut my bangs and it turned out great!

G Ebersole: I had a hard time because my hair is naturally curly. Couldn't get it to lay flat after wetting it. I held it out a bit with my other hand and made the cuts. I'm over 60 and the bangs hide my graying hairline. After blow drying it and taking a look at it, I thought it came out really nice. Thank you.

Lady J. Geek: It totally works and with a colic too! I finally have cute bangs. Thanks!

Luci H: thank you! first time i cut my bangs and they actually look good.

GlimmerAndGold: This seems SUPER COMPLICATED - and unnecessarily complicated? I don't think I want to attempt it. I hate going to hair stylists, but I might need to settle for that. Love her makeup and room lights/decor.

Doggo With Anxiety: *Quarantine got me like* Edit: Seriously though this video is so so helpful. I have fringe bangs and they're way too long since all the hairdressers are closed. This is the video I needed. Trimming my bangs as opposed to creating them from scratch

Karen Benavente: I loved your Video ❤️ It was so informative And you have gorgeous hair

Lillian Walker: Growing out a shaved head and desperately needed to fix my bangs. Great video thank you!

Linda Monahan: Thank you for helping me during this pandemic--can't go to the beautician to get my hair trimmed and you have helped me.

Lianna Charlesworth: So badly wish I had naturally straight hair. This would be so much easier

Libra Sunny: Thank you, really nice tutorial! I'm really like the result of my bangs thanks to your tutorial. (I'm sorry for my english.) But I used nail scissors and my hair was barely wet. It was pretty dry, actually.

zZzleepyhead: I'm usually not a fan of tutorials but yours was amazing! I used to cut my own hair but its been years. Feeling like cutting my bangs again and your videos game me the confidence to do it again. You deserve so many more subs! Thanks again.

Marilyn DolceDavis: Thanks! Looks like I can do it!

Glory Dancer: You look terrific with bangs!

Saara Henna Creations: When i try do this. ..i am always sacred thinking i should not accidentally cut my eyelashes

gillian bc: Thanks - just did mine, looks good. 5 mins.

J H: I did all of this but not wet. If you cut it wet you'll end up cutting it too short. Trust me. Do it dry and this is an amazing technique. My fringe looks great

LisaParisLohan: You are so pretty and I love your style. :) . Thanks for posting this.

Debra Covington: Great tutorial, thank you

Aesop Carl: Be careful cutting your fringe wet! it will get tight and become shorter so make sure you leave some length!

mixolyte: My impulsiveness during quarantine:

Pheobe: I kinda want to cut bangs but I don't want to do it alone, trying to convince on of my friends to do it with me.

P Velázquez: Beautiful !

LM3: Awesome bangs!

Aishas' khara hayat: where did you get your blouse... omg i love it!!!

Maja D.: Gorgeous

Zalfa: I wish i could do that but my hair are so curly and when I wash my hair and keep brushing them when it gets dry it keeps getting curly back I hope someone with curly hair like me tried this and tell me if it worked or not! But if you do thank you

JJ France: It worked! Thanks!

naomi Ferguson: us girls during quarantine::

Callan Grace: I have a bone to pick. I have been planning for four months to shave my head. I had the date set. I’ve been so pumped, wanted to for years. So I had a rough week, laughed, and thought this was the only chance I would have in my life of cutting my own bangs with no consequence. So why not, right? I won’t have hair in four days anyways. What’s the harm? Well the HARM is that I followed this VIDEO and it turned out GREAT and apparently I look HOT with bangs and now I can’t shave my head! And I didn’t use the right scissors because I wasn’t gonna have hair soon enough ANYWAY. I understand I am a victim of my own hubris and good looks, but I am still very affronted that this video has just overturned everything and now my already perfect bangs will have to get touched up because I didn’t use the right scissors.

Vicki & Gustav R.: Great. I can't go out to get the hair-cutting scissors. I have Asthma. My doctor told me not to go out right now unless it's a dire emergency. (If he saw my hair he'd think it WAS but he told me to cut my own hair "and then go to the hair salon when it's over.) I live in NYC.

JMP: What lipstick are you wearing?? It's so pretty :)

Kendall Jokhan: I wet my hair like she did and it came out so much shorter than it was when it was wet. i hope it grows soon

Paola Russo: could you make a video tutorial with that make up? I love it!! and what is that hair cut style that you have?

Diane Perez: Think I'm going to try this out I been wanting to do something with my long side bangs

teresa abbott: Brilliant. Thank you

S Staker: I love your shirt! Thanks for the video.

Sarah: YOUR KITTY SHIRT!!!!❤ omgoodness it's so cute! pls upload more makeup tutorials soon! I miss them so much!

Miss Xhris: Where did you get your cat shirt? I love it!!

Heÿ Ît's Smileÿ :3: @ 3:00 She starts her hair.

Sheens: anyone else get really nervous that she was gonna cut her upper eye area? yikes!

B Mil: I where did you get those lights on your wall!??

Sheyanne: your lights are so pretty

cynthia sagar: Turned out great.

Lisa N: I have very thick hair and I look best in good bangs. But my hair has grown to one long length and it's very elongating and aging on my face. So I found your video and just tried your technique! I have to say because of my hair, the straight line across makes my bangs too thin and it doesn't fit my very thick and full hair. So i combined another person's method with yours. I started with yours exactly. Then using the comb, I took out further toward the back to make a triangle (instead of a straight line). I twisted the front amount twice and cut mid nose. I softened it (your method) and pulled the second layer from the back and twisted it and cut and fringed via your technique and also used your technique via the longer side pieces. I have to say I've never done my bangs that looked this good before and the thickness well covers my extremely high forehead (which the hairline runs even further back on one side! My challenge area!) Wow. The thickness is great and everything blends well. Thank you.

JenniferM1992: I have my hair like this too your are so pretty

crystalawen: Best video Ive seen on cutting a fringe ...

Terri Esposito: Very pretty girl and good input .. my only negative comment would be to maybe get a little bit larger mirror so we can all see better what you are doing .. especially those if us that need two hands. Thanks for sharing!!

MONICA Fit Plant POWER COACH: Thank you, Adriana... Great idea I will practice

Marty Mcnamara: Thanks chick, that was helpful. :)

couch patato: This is what us gurls do at 3am when we having the 7th mental breakdown of the day.

Valentina Gonzalez: Omg, where did you get that kitty shirt? Im loving it

Kari LaPensee: I’m watching this so I can convince my mom lol

Stony Heart: love you..!! do a video on eyeliner.. how u put them

Marmalade Queen: Very cool!

Gracie Jimenez: Love the blouse most of all....main reason I gave a thumbs up

CherriSoda: Can I get the same result with regular house scissors? I’m not trying to go out my buy scissors because I’m broke and if I ask my mom she’ll yell at me lol

Shivangi Shukla: wow

Trish P: “Cause I don’t want to look crazy”

Dorothy M: Going to be a matter of necessity soon, also dyeing it. Could be some strange sights around.

Alejandra Ortiz: I'd be scared of cutting my eyelashes! And believe me... It already happened.

Karina Smith: You sound like Rihanna!! The bangs look awesome on you!

PaRan Choi: i like your make up style, can you do tutorial?

Francine Vega-Urbalejo: Where is your shirt from? I love it!!

siniša blažinčić: Thank you for this video
