Hey guys today, i'm doing some realistic crochet as an install, so yeah, let's get into the tutorial. So before i do my install i'm going to wash my hair when i wash my hair, i like to use warm water, and i like to wash my hair over the tub using my shower head extension and yes, i like to rinse my hair for like two Minutes and i like to pull out the steady hairs just to prune them out so then the next thing i do is shampoo, my hair. I believe this is the urban hydration moisturizing shampoo, i'm going to link the exact one into this in the description below. In case you want to use the shampoo, so this shampoo does clarify my hair, but it doesn't strip it as much as a clarifying shampoo would so yeah. I definitely do recommend it if you're looking for a shampoo but yeah, so i've been using it. Since i have a lot of it and i like to just basically use the same shampoo until i use it up, then move on to the next one. So once i got that shampoo lathered up lathered up, i'm going to just massage my scalp and really scratch that scalp using the pads of my fingertips just to remove any dirt excess oil, um whatever's on the scalp that shouldn't be there. That'S in skin cells and any hairs, shedded hairs that need to come out so once i've done that i'm going to go ahead and rinse out my shampoo using warm water once again, i'm low porosity, so i don't use cold water at all. In my wash days, warm water is the only thing i use because it helps my hair soak in any moisturizing ingredients that i'm using for any of my wash day products so after i've rinsed that all out and also make sure you get behind your ears. Sometimes i forget to actually focus on that part, but then i always leave shampoo there. So just make sure you get your ears, so the next thing i do is just coat my hair with deep conditioner. This is a protein deep conditioner from mish beauty, and i really like it. It has become one of my favorites and i think i have like a little bit less, but i definitely love this deep conditioner. So i'm usually smoothing onto my hair, while i'm over the tub just to take advantage of my hair, that's soaking wet and then i stand up and apply the rest of the deep conditioner to my hair in medium sized sections. Just to make sure i get every every piece of my scalp every ounce of my scalp everywhere in every part of my hair, so i let it sit for like 10 minutes and once it was done, i went ahead and rinsed it out with some warm water. Once again, i'm not using cold water. I always use warm water, and this is how i keep my hair moisturized, clean and moisturized, and how i take care of its health. Once i'm done, i'm going to use a towel. That is, a cotton t-shirt. Towel this one's from sheetal i'll link it down below you can get that and now it's time to moisturize and braid up my hair for the crochet pattern. So i'm going to just put my hair in half like so using my ear as a guide and i'm going to just show you how i bring one braid, i'm using some hair butter, this one's from ps, it's naturals, it's black om, but i have a full List of hair butters, if you like, to try different ones and i'll link that video down below so after i smooth on my hair butter on my roots and all of the hair, i'm gon na go ahead and detangle in two sections, since this is a large Section then, once i've detangled it i'm going to unroll my hair, starting from the middle and coral down towards my face, and i'm going to do this because i want to have a realistic, crochet look with a bang and i want my bang to fall into my Face so that's why all of my braids are going to be going are going to go from the middle of my head down to the perimeter of my head, so i've already done the front so now this is what i'm doing to put all the braids together. I'M gon na just loop, those uh first two braids underneath each other and then once i get to the last braid, i'm just gon na kind of do like a gigantic combined bread and braid it like so so yeah. So this actually helps me to keep the braids out the way and helps me do that. Bang! Look that i want using the crochet. So once i was done that i went ahead and crocheted the back of my head, which is pretty easy. They'Re kind of like straight backs only they're, starting from the middle of my head, so everything starting in that middle part of my head. So once i was done, this is all the hair i lost from shampooing, deep conditioning and brushing and then actually i went ahead and sewed down my braids because they were too loose so yeah. So then i originally was using this hair. This video was going to be about this hairstyle, but it did not turn out right. This is how it turned out, and i thought it would be way longer and i thought it would be like afroe and long, but it wasn't so. I went to the hair store, got some more hair. This is the hair. I got 2x coily3c by lulutress and i picked this hair because it's curly and long, which is what i wanted. I want the bang look. I want it to look real, so it comes all clipped up like this, so you have to actually cut off the ties at the top of each bundle. Each bundle comes with like six or eight curls. I forget but um each bundle i put up on my ring like like this just to keep it organized. You can use a braid thread, wreck um if you have one and if you don't i'll, just link it down below. So you know what it is. If you're not sure what that is, so this is how i'm starting off i'm just going to crochet on the braid, i'm not on every single braid, i'm not going to braid, underneath the braid i'm going to braid on the braid. So i'm going to actually show you guys what i did so i went ahead. Did the rest of my hair that you cannot see off camera and i saved this part for on camera, so you guys can see exactly how i'm doing a crochet. So this is all that i've got done. I think this is one pack of hair or a pack and some change, but i definitely did you have to use both pegs. So this is how one curl looks very pretty defined and again i want to crochet one top of the braid and not really underneath the braid. So i'm going to like find a opening in the braid and then i'm going to just pull the curl through. So usually on each braid, i would crochet on one side of the braid like underneath one loop of the braid, and then i would go ahead and crochet on the other side of the braid as well. Now here it looks like i'm just putting on the curls on one side of the braid, so it looks like i'm just going up the braid and this braid probably ended up having 10 to 12 curls on this break crochet onto this braid. So i just want to show you guys, i'm crocheting on top of the braid, not underneath the braid right now, and that is to make sure that the curl doesn't slip out. I believe, if you'll crochet, underneath that cornrow since it's so big, the curl may slip out, so i'm going to go ahead and clip back. My hair and i've decided that i'm going to crochet on these braids that are sewn together on the perimeter, because i feel like they're not covered well enough, and it would be. It would look better if it was covered. So i'm going to go ahead, go ahead and crochet on top of them, so that the hairstyle looks way better with the curls. So now we're on this braid right here and this braid is actually smaller than a lot of them, and this one i actually am going underneath the braid and crocheting on, because the braid is small. Now, if the braid was the other side like the others, i would braid on top of it, but for this instance, i'm going to braid underneath this braid. So here in the front, i'm crocheting just inside the loop of a braid and it's amazing how i took this hair off. I didn't show you guys how i took it out, but i forgot how i did, but it definitely did come out. So don't worry about how you're going to take this hair out? It'S not a nightmare. Usually you would just cut right above the knot and then it slips right out since his hair is so slippery, it would slip right out or when you're taking out your braids. The hair comes out anyway, so now we're at the complete top, and i tried to get to as close as the middle as i could, but without hurting myself. So this is basically how i finished it all. So now i'm done and i'm just checking the density of what i have going on, and i noticed that this part over here doesn't really have a lot. So i'm going to go ahead and fill that section in after that. I just double check the rest of my hair. Yes, i watch netflix while i'm doing my hair. So that's basically what my background sounds like whenever i'm doing my hair so yeah all right, so i'm going to go ahead and start trimming. My hair, i felt like this was a good limb and i just like this shoulder length. I didn't want it too short, but you know it ended up being a little shorter than this, but yeah. So i'm gon na go ahead and work on the bang and just go ahead and cut that front part first and then cut the parts around the bang to try to shape my face. Then i'm going to go ahead and try to even out the bang again and yeah. So now it looks kind of good, but i just want to go ahead and shape the hair um these like stragglers - i don't really like so i'm gon na go ahead and cut those and then again i'm gon na even out the bang one more time. So then i was like something's missing, so i know it's missing. I'M going to go ahead and flush, my hair out with the hair pick, so i went ahead. Clipped up a few sections got out my hair pick, which is metal and very durable, and i really love this hair pick and i'm going to just pick out this hair from the middle, but not pull it all the way through to the ends, because i want The ends to still have that nice, natural, looking curl that it came with so fluffing this hair out it made this hair look. It turned this hair from looking plastic and synthetic to looking real, like a real um wash and go that had a lot of volume, and i was really happy with how this hair turned out. It definitely looks so real and i'm glad i picked this hair. So yeah, so i'm gon na go ahead and fluff it out and then once i did that i moved on with smaller sections so that i could just fluff out as much as i could. I saved the front for last, of course, because once um i'm in the front, i'm not going to be able to see so because it's a bang, so i went ahead and fluffed out the sides. First, the back and then i've left out the bang. So i really did like this hair um. It looks so real to me um i like how they have it sectioned off, but i don't like that they have the the bundles tied up like with a string um. I would say get rid of that. If i was, you know a part of that company, but yeah, so now i'm just doing some final trimmings, and this is the final look after doing the final trims and i did not cut anymore, i really love it. It looks so real. It actually looks like a um afro afro wig like a wig, so yeah, it's really cute, don't lift it up, because people will see your braids, don't do what i'm doing, but it looks really cute really nice, it's very lightweight and i loved it so thumbs up This video, if you loved it, check out more on my channel and i'll, see you guys all in the next one.
