How To Cut Bangs On Curly Natural Hair

Hey everybody welcome back to my channel so today, if you read the title, you'll see that I'm going to be cutting some bangs in my hair. I am kind of dealing with the post part I'm shedding a little bit. So I kind of feel like this is like a good opportunity for me to actually just cut the bangs. I'Ve been wanting for a long time and just get it over with, because a lot of people say that, like sometimes their edges will tend out and stuff, which I mean I haven't experienced it yet, but I mean I feel like if my edges do thin out. I can have bangs on top of it. Anybody gon na know unless my bangs fall out, that's a different story, but for now I'm just gon na show you guys how I cut my bangs. I have not had scissors to my hair since last year in February, when I could like have to link to my hair off that's how long it's been since I've even put scissors to my hair, so I may like cut my ends and stuff in this video. I really don't know, I guess it depends on how the whole bang situation goes today, we'll see how that goes, Jase is sleeping right now I got this baby monitor, which I need to add this to the. What video is that the first time must haves. So like I'm watching him he's knocked out right now, so I'm gon na try to do this really quick before he wakes up. I may have to show you guys in a separate video like how much my hair shades, especially when I wash it like. It'S all bad. I have like, if I'm rubbing my fingers the way I shouldn't have like the handful up here in my hand, look at this hair that I'm collecting right now so, like I shouldn't be clicking that much hair. When I just put my hand through my hair - and this is like strain like from the root like this - isn't long pieces - I hear hey yo, so I decided to do a voiceover because I couldn't really talk. While I was cutting my hair but right here, I'm pretty much just like sectioning off the front part of like how much I guess like how much hair I want in my bangs. Are you I'm doing a quick thumbnail? Those like have a thumbnail from my youtube. Video and from my Instagram video but yeah, so basically I'm just like sectioning off that front part, and then I just took off I like split it up into sections. I was just cutting the ends off and then like slowly like inching my way up there. I couldn't just cut off a whole big chunk, like that, like I had to cut off like small pieces and work. My way up, my hair is a little damp as I'm cutting it, because I thought it was gon na be dry like by the time I wanted to cut it and by the time Jason went to sleep, but he kind of went to sleep a little earlier Than I thought so I was like well, let me just try to hurry up and do it now, because, if he wakes up and I'm like cutting my hair in between feeding him change, his diaper everything I just want to like forget where I'm at in my Part and everything so I was just like hurried up and just started cutting it while it was a little damp, but I end up like restyling my hair towards the end anyway, so it really didn't matter. Oh in quick, disclaimer, I'm clearly not a professional, I'm! Basically, just cutting my hair in my bathroom, like I don't condone anybody to do it. If you don't, if you ain't confident yourself, just don't do it cuz, I just been doing whatever I want to do with my hair honestly, and I really wish I would have cut a little bit more cuz. I started cutting some hair on the sides right here and I wish I thought to cut a little bit more like just so I could like have more of like a shape to it. I don't know like I feel, like my hair is kind of like just bang in the front, and then it's like longer towards the back. I don't know like I should do like layers type thing as I'm. Looking back on this, I'm seeing stuff that I should've did, but I don't know probably let my hair grow out and then cut it all over again and try it again but yeah. I think, if I had like more layers on the sides that way it'll like frame my face a little bit better. So you know this is a little poodle that I just cut off of my head. I love like the fresh-cut feeling, like my hands, feel so sharp and precise, but I'm gon na style, my hair, how I usually style my hair and then come back on camera and show you guys how my hair looks. Hopefully it doesn't look too bad. It kind of looks like a 7d style right now, so I got ta really like style. My hair right now so I'll be right back and I forgot to mention what product I'm using, but I'm just using a moist, conditioner and water to smooth my curls out. I'M trying to like make them coil up so that way my bangs will be like really really defined. Cuz you don't you got that fresh cut. Feeling in your ends feel like right. Real crisp like you just got ta like show it off. So I wondered like my curls too, like spiral towards the end, so I was like pretty much like pressing the product in and raking it through to make my curls pop and for some reason I kept cutting my hair and looking into like the camera. Instead of looking into the mirror, so every time I looked in the mirror, I would find like random straggling pieces that I need to cut off so right. Here I was cutting off. I think it was about three different curls. I had to cut off right here because they were just a little bit too long, but I really wanted my bangs to like stop like right at my eyelashes like I didn't want them to be too short or too long and you're, probably thinking like girl, yo Bangs are too long, but remember my hair is wet right now, so when it dries, my hairs, gon na shrink up and the bangs are gon na, like curl up a little bit higher but you'll see towards the end. Okay. So now that I'm done styling my hair, I'm going to show you guys how it looks once it's dry. I think it's gon na come out cute. I already left my hair already, but I'll be back to show you guys and my hair is dry, so I decided to blow-dry my hair dryer. I usually air dry, but Jason was still sleeping. I was like, let me try to hurry up and dry. My hair and show you guys my results before he wakes up and, of course you know he had to wake up. He woke up yeah, so yeah. These are pretty much the results from my hair. I do like it a whole bunch and honestly, like my bangs, are gon na grow really really fast cuz.
