How To: Faux Curtain Bangs & Loose Waves | Hair Tutorial

Never thought i'd start doing this again, we're back with a hair tutorial. Look how gorgeous my hair looks right now. Do you trust me say hi momma's here, okay, can i can i do this now it was cute, but now i got ta i got ta. Do this i'm gon na? Do your hair, i'm sure, as we've all seen, the curtain, bang is huge right now, but i'm not gon na cut my hair into curtain bangs. I don't like bangs, there's only one kind of bang i like so today we're going to style our hair with the curtain, bang without actually cutting your hair, i showered last night and then just fell asleep on my hair. Sometimes my hair will naturally dry the way. A curtain bang does we're going to be using two different hot tools today. This first one is just this t3 wand. If you have a heat, tamer use that i don't have one so you use yours, okay, remember when my channel was just a hair channel. Oh, my goodness time has flown by so we're just going to part off. I would say the bottom third of your hair ellie and now i get look at. Do you like these bangs? My hair is pretty soft you can brush if you need to. I don't always so now that we have like this is, i would say for me, like the bottom third of my hair right, i'm gon na use this it's a 10 miracle, silk, smoothing balm and i'm just gon na run it through the hair before styling. Sometimes, when i forget to do this before i'll, do it after as well, i just feel like it gives the hair such a sleek look like see how much nicer that looks now now, as you can tell with my hair. I have this like natural bit of a wave. What i'm going to do for this style is just kind of go along with the wave, because i want to keep that natural vibe and i'm just going to see where the bend goes. So it's kind of going do-do-do, i'm just going to follow one two three boom one, two three boom see now. It just looks like my hair, is naturally doing i'm not trying to really wave it. I'M not trying to curl it. I'M just trying to give a little bit of a bend. Just repeat, and the thing about this is your hair is going to bend a different little spot, so mine doesn't really have much of a bend tilt literally down almost to the middle of the hair. So i can even bend that one a little and then one two three boom one of my pet peeves when it comes to hair, is when you curl it or you wave it and everything kind of starts flowing into each other. This style isn't gon na. Do it it's not gon na wrap within itself, it's like the most effortless natural. You see so now that that part is finished, we're just going to repeat up the head, so i literally take my. I got these long ass nails and i take my finger and i just whoop around to the back grab and pull and just like match it on the other side. Now, if you have pieces like this, where it doesn't really have anything, there's like a little bit of a wave in here, can you see that it's really not much of anything, i'm just going to kind of make my own, then then i'll go to the top And like a faux natural wave, you know again for this i'll kind of like bend around here. One two three boom pull that down doesn't even do anything. Okay, we'll hold it for longer. Oh we'll just curve, one, two, three four boom! Oh! What'S this, you can also like let it sit loose ellie. This girl, okay, now see right here where i have like this natural bump. I want to pull the heat on it and then it's bumping down here put a little heat on it and then i'm going to grab this other side and i'm going to do one in the middle right here. Goodbye see, did i even describe that, or did i just say now around my face, because we're gon na do that curtain bang in a little bit this part right here in the front, i'm just gon na pull it up like this bump it backwards. I'M gon na bump it this way like loosely hold the hair around the wand. Pull like this. I know you can see my face. Sorry like that. Basically, all i'm doing until i get to the actual bangs is just following the natural wave of the hair. I'M trying not to fully wave or curl the hair, though, because i want it to look as natural as possible. I don't want my hair to look like. I did all of these steps. I want you to think that i was born like this. You know because i was obviously this just takes a little patience and a little extra time, but the thing is you're not putting full heat all over your whole hair. So technically, this is good for your hair. This is also one of those styles that if it gets messy throughout the day, you're busy running errands you're, doing whatever you're doing with your life and your hair is starting to get messy or fall with the weather or whatever. I feel like. It looks better over time. I either want super polished, like sleek, hair or very relaxed easy going vibes we're getting close to the top. This top part i'm going to take my finger and i'm going to do all the way around to the back same on this other side, and i'm just going to leave this very tiny front. Part where my bangs are, and just back a little bit. I'M gon na keep this for the very end again with the styling balm. Just do a little bit a little goes a very long way. Also. They say you should use it on wet hair, but i always use it on dry. I'M gon na curl for four hold for eight this one, i'm gon na curl towards back ready one. Two, three, four pull one: two, three four five see it's giving like a good way for the top right, see my front ones. You see how they're, naturally just going i'm just gon na leave that boom see the firmware here. That'S not the curtain, bang yet, but just to go along with what we're going to do. It'S crazy because it sounds like four seconds on a hot tool doesn't sound. Like enough time, but really it's like way more than enough, oh, i took a pretty big piece. My hair also dries differently on each side of my head now for the curtain. Bang i'm gon na. Take your finger split down the middle, we're gon na first. Take these back pieces one two three four and hold this for five one: two three four five and then hold this down for ten five, six, seven, eight, nine ten! It was curlier than i wanted. Okay for the curtain, bangs you guys ready for this. Okay. First, i'm actually gon na pin this hair back. You need some of these little pins or just any little pin that you have i'm gon na. Pin this hair back willie do the bang now is when you pull out a hair straightener. Just stick with me here, stick with me here. This has personally been the easiest way for me to do the curtain. Bang you're, gon na, take your front bang you're, going to kind of pull it down and figure out where you want your curtain to begin. I want to do mine at the top of my cheekbone right here, so just like fold. It like this and use the straightener to kind of set that in place after you do that you want to take one of these cuties pin her up like this, pin it in place. Okay, do it again, on the other side, be careful if you're like me, and this side is harder to do since i'm right-handed? Okay, oh my gosh, i'm focusing so hard. This is my opposite side. Hold it pin it in place, and you have these really. This cute look right now, but you just want to let it set let this set. I look gorgeous right now. I think a star. If you want to use hairspray you can. I don't use hairspray on my hair um, but if you would like to you could use texture spray, you can do that i'm gon na let these back ones down. I think i've had this in for like five minutes. If i like left it like this, like, i would look right now, all right, you ready look at that that perfect bend in the hair perfect bend. If you need to fix the ends right here, i'm gon na just go like that a little bit. If you feel like you need to stamp it, you can. Oh, this one turned out a little more bangarang, just basically a wave around the face. Honestly. This is also a very soft curtain, bang compared to the actual one, that's like short and very like boom. In your face, but this is like frames the face nicely around the cheekbone.
