Hey guys, so i have been getting a lot of requests to do an updated, wavy, hair routine from start to finish. So that is what i am going to be sharing with you today. This is how i've been wearing my hair most recently and i've been getting a lot of questions about it. So here you guys go. I hope you enjoyed the video keep watching if you want to see how i got this hair without using any heat. Okay. So for today's routine, i am going to be starting off by deep conditioning i've already shampooed my hair in the shower, and i also use the l'oreal 8. Second wonder water. Now i did use the vanilla blue shampoo, which i really like it has been a while, since i've toned my hair, so i want to do a bit of a double treatment. So i'm going to be mixing in a few of these igk mixed feeling. Uh leave-in drops and then i'll be mixing that in with the kristen s deep treatment mask, it's been a while, since i've done like a true deep conditioning treatment out of the shower, i'm also going to be putting a heat cap on to really get my hair. Nice and soft, so i just put a bunch of drops in there. I don't really count right, so we're left with something like this. I was able to do a little bit of detangling with the wonder water, but the canola shampoo is a little bit on the drying side. I do think it does a nice job with toning for sure, but that's why i wanted to do the wonder water with the deep conditioning treatment you want to make sure you're conditioning all the way up to the root of your hair. If you're constantly not conditioning your roots, it's going to cause breakage over time. I know that's kind of a no-no with some people, but i always just make sure i do that. Also, i get a lot of tangles at the nape of my neck here. Just from like rubbing up against sweaters and fabric constantly, i just want to make sure that this section is extra moisturized, alright. So now that we've got the mask in i'm going to put this on my head first and then i'm going to heat up my hot head and i'll leave this on for about like 20 30 minutes, and then i will be back to finish off the styling. Hey guys, so i have rinsed the mask out of my hair and my hair is pretty soaked right now. Now i am going to put it up in a towel, but before i do that um something new ish that i've been doing is applying a product to really really wet hair and then putting it up in a towel. So i'm going to be using the kristen s air dry cream today, and i will take like this much. I talked about this product in my current drugstore favorite stylers. So the reason i started applying product before i put my hair in the towel is, i feel, like it, helps cut down on frizz a lot. I also haven't detangled my hair. Yet so i'm just taking my tangle teezer, i will re-wet my bangs once the rest of my hair has dried up a bit in the towel. So this way we can, you know, position them exactly how we want them to dry. We'Ve gotten out all the knots we've distributed the product. Now, i'm just going to throw my hair up in a towel, so i'll check back with you guys soon. When i feel like my hair is a good level of dampness, so we can begin braiding. So my hair has been drying now for like an hour and a half two hours in the towel, so now it is time to take it out. I am going to give it one more brush through just because my hair gets so naughty so easily, and now we need to find our bangs and take those out for now. I'M just going to tie my hair back and then i'm going to re-wet my bangs. You want to make sure that you're getting all the way to the base of your head with the water, because that's going to be the most important part and how the bangs lay make sure you're wetting from underneath and up top all right. So now, let's clip these off for a second we're going to be doing a classic twist braid. So you want to separate your hair in two sections. If you know how to french braid feel free to do that, i just find this be a lot easier. The smaller the section the tighter the wave is going to be so i'm going to take about this much hair split it into two and then start incorporating more hair into each section, so very similar to a french braid we're only using two sections of hair, as Opposed to three so once we get to about the ear or so i'm going to take this last section of hair and then start braiding it as normal, and this is just because if i were to continue with the two strand um, it would unravel really easily Putting it into a regular braid from like your ear down just kind of helps to reinforce your hair and uh hold it in place. Now i usually stop like about here and then i'm just gon na tie it off with the scrunchie. I can't find the smaller one right now, so this one will have to do and then we're going to do the same exact thing. On the other side, you can finish off the bangs so for this i'm going to be taking this mixed bristle brush. It has like some plastic and poor bristles, and i like it because it really catches every hair, i'm going to need all of those bristles to really make sure that my bangs are laying how i want them to okay. So i'm just really brushing through making sure that they're in a good position and then to start off with i'm going to kind of swoop them to one side. But you want to make sure that you're keeping all of the bangs like in a nice pretty tight position. All right, then we're gon na grab the ends and just twist them gently. I'M gon na take this little flat, curl clip about every hour or so do the same exact thing, but switch them over to the other side, and this is just going to ensure i'll just show you guys um, it's just going to ensure that the bangs have A nice like swoopy, look and they're, not all drying in one direction. It really does make a big difference and just kind of do the same exact thing like that and then clip it again. I will keep my hair like this the rest of the day and then i will also sleep with my hair in this style and then by tomorrow morning, when my hair is fully dry, it it will be ready to take out of the braids, and you know Just need a few adjustments and we'll be good to go good morning. Everyone now i am back and the hair is totally dry and i'm about to do my makeup, but before i go and do that, i wanted to use a little bit of hairspray. So this is the inner sense i create finish. I just picked up this little one from ulta, i'm just going to spray this over the braid just to reinforce a little more hold. So i'm going to come back after i do my makeup and then we will put the final touches on the hairstyle. So i'm going to take a little bit more of the air dry cream just to calm down a little bit of the poofiness like just a really small amount, all right so i'll do one more quick spritz! I like this hairspray because it's not sticky. It'S very light, and it smells good also, i'm just gon na take a little bit of this garnier paste. My bangs are so soft when your hair is like really clean. I kind of want a little bit of texture in them all right guys, so that is the full routine that i follow to get my curls to be wavy without using any heat, we'll be doing a video on how to maintain the style and refresh it uh That will be coming later this week, so be on the lookout for that. Thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you have an amazing rest of your day and i will see you guys tomorrow. You

Élisa Gauthier: That hairstyle suits you really really well Dana, you look really breathtaking :) Greetings from France! I wanna thank you and in return I want to share with you one of my favourite songs at the moment: Benedict Ammann - Love ain't cheap I'm listening to it on repeat on Spotify and I hope you'll love it as much as I do :)

Meyleen Hdz.: I love your makeup look! You look so pretty I’m trying to fall in love with my natural hair again and you are a big ispiration

Keiko F: WOW great tips!!! Thank you for this video! I've been struggling with styling my naturally wavy hair since I decided this year to put down the flat iron. I will definitely try drying my bangs with this method. I've also been struggling with my hair feeling dry sometimes if I DON'T use aloe, which I only recently discovered maybe a month or two ago that does make a BIG difference... but sometimes I'm too lazy to go buy more and cut it up and all that lol and as I'm typing this my cat is trying to eat my dry-ass hair, great. ANYWAYS... thank you for the video! I also didn't think about using mini scrunchies to tie the ends, brilliant! I've been using those tiny clear elastics that just leave bends in my hair... I will try those as well, thank you sooo much your hair looks beautiful!

Courtney Derouen: I love this look. Gotta say I’m impressed and can’t wait to try it. Thanks for the video

Rifath Majeed: If you’d like to try an alternate method - twist your slightly damp hair up into a high bun and leave overnight. It produces pretty waves and also helps create some lifted volume at the roots.

Ellie O'Leary: THIS IS EXACTLY THE VIDEO IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Bobbie Ditcharo-Roland: Very pretty. Love the wavy look on you. It looks beautiful.

JNstuff: I wish this worked for me! I did the whole twist then braid thing, and in the morning my hair had shrunk so much and was so curly. ☹️

Cath Rose: Yesss!!! Been waiting for this :)

Rifath Majeed: Hey, if I wear a side part, should I clip the bangs on the opposite side?

Gabriella: This routine is best for winter tank youuu

Leann Drover: I love your name plate necklace! Where did you get it?

Brittany Sears: You’re wearing your gift ❤️

Emma Frires: What hair towel do you use?

Jennifer Aguilar: My hair looked kinda like that but it was dead so I had to cut it and it looks likes that but shorter I kinda miss my long hair:(
