My name is Catherine, and I am here to make some questionable life choices today, I'm going to be cutting my hair into bangs on just something that I think I'm doing for a little while and I'm now that it's phone, it's cool outside. I figured that this is the perfect time to do it. As you can see, I've got sort of like a wavy curly hair texture going on it's definitely more wavy today, but sometimes it turns into more ringlets than waves, and it's like super super thick um. So yeah all they really need to do. This is hair scissors really, if you're going to cut your hair, get hair scissors they're like ten dollars and regular scissors will leave your hair with split ends, a hair tie and a sectioning comb or a rat tail comb. You call it I'm not a hairdresser, obviously I'm cutting my hair in my dorm room. So if you follow this video and you mess up your hair, don't like me so yeah, I'm just gon na start by, like sectioning off sort of where I want the bangs to be. I don't want like super thick bangs um, but I don't want them to be so thin that they look scraggly, but I really don't something like forehead peeping it through and pulling this down on the side. It'S not gon na blend it out. Oh my god. I can't like see you through my hair. I literally look like cousin it. It'S cousin it like dyed their hair purple. All right. I'M gon na have to try out this hair that I'm not cutting, so I don't accidentally cut it. Oh, my god, this is so scary. Not gon na lie hello. Okay. This looks like a good starting point for the bangs. It looks pretty even on both sides. It'S not too thick, not too thin wow. This is kind of scary yeah. I don't like tug this piece behind. This is not like the actual things it's just gon na, be like the blending section same with like these sides, alright, god, how am I gon na see to my hair? Okay, I'm gon na start with this piece all right now, I'm gon na, like sort of like hit like right below my eyebrows, if that makes sense. Okay, I'm gon na trim like up to here just straight across. Oh, my god again we did that okay and then I'm just gon na, like use vertical cuts to sort of dust the ends of this. So it's not like something belong straight across cut. Oh, my god. I love it. I'M so excited I want is to be like really nice and PC like I don't want that like straight across and bang look cuz. I doesn't don't think that suits me. I'M so scared to cut my eyebrows where my eyelashes, oh my god. What if I cut my eyelashes, that would be horrible. I really like this so far. Oh my god, I'm so excited this isn't even like a tutorial like you're just watching the time in here. Oh my God, look at all of this. You could make a wig out of just my bangs. I had so much hair. I feel like like in Leamas and halfway like shaved, her head on camera and all I could think of when I heard that is like what it's like, the Cameron didn't record and I'm like like what. If my camera just stopped recording - and it's like - I can't like go back and like reattach the hair to refill this, that's my favorite sound like I love the sound of hair being cut I'm so weird. This piece is too long, okay, so this is where I want to start like bending out doing some longer pieces. I wanted to be sleep when I have my hair in a bun like this like have like bangs, and then I just comes all the way down. You know I'm talking about yeah, I'm sort of like gon na cut each individual, like I mean they're, not really curls right now, but like if my hair was curly, ER they'd be curls. If that makes sense, this is dying. Everything so target is on okay. So it looks about even um. Now I'm gon na just take my hair down and see. If I want to like make things, I let me think that my foreheads like peak and feel intensely here, I'm just gon na see and decide: okay, yeah! I'M nothing feels like a little thicker, I'm just cuz. I have like so much hair here that it's like a little weird, a holic few bangs. Look at this. Look at this she'd donate that somewhere, you haven't, look better and I'm gon na do like this section. Like slightly longer so I want it to be like really like really PC. If that makes sense, I was left on hey you think the random hair isn't a sun-kissed dosed her it's in my okay, that is it oh. I left them like a little bit long. Um, just in case they shrink up a bit when I wash my hair I'll make sure to check in after I shower, and my hair dries. So you guys can see, like how's really looks after hasn't been all like, calm down and already like struggling through the day um, but yeah hope you enjoyed struggling to through this with me um. This is what my bangs look like after I've washed and let my hair dried, I might have my top half of my hair Mel - have fun because that's pretty much what I always do arm, but yeah these pretty much jar, probably one of them. They hit like right at the middle or right below my eyebrows, depending on the length of the bang, but they're just nice and PC, and you know, still see some of my forehead but they're not too thick um. So yeah I'm pretty happy with how they turned out um I'll, definitely keep them throughout the fall. I don't know at the end of winter, not um, but you know.
