Today'S the day, i've been waiting for this for a long time. Today'S the day you excited yeah. This is part of my bucket list to get really blonde. Hey guys. This is spanx garcia. To be honest, i was quite hesitant in the beginning because i've always loved having my hair, colored or dyed, but i've never had my hair dyed this blonde before and i've been longing to try being blonde. Ever since i was in the philippines, but i've just never had a chance, because i was still acting and as an actress you will have limited roles. If you were blonde well, at least in my country, in the philippines, we are required to go as natural as possible. So we are not allowed to be too glamorized unless it is asked by the production team unless the role or the character that you're gon na portray asks for it requires it. But that rarely happens because uh in soap operas most of the time new character. In the pinot portrait is mejira, glamorosa and nintendo or makeup, so there was never a chance to go this experimental before and now that i'm here in the uk, i've got the freedom to do whatever. I would want to do with my hair. Really i can go as experimental as i would want to be, plus i want to be a cool mom by the way i've had my hair bleached on the 15th of august, and today is the 7th of september, which means it's nearly a month now and i've Been away as well with my family, we've been on a holiday in devon and we've been to the beaches. There we've done a lot of things outdoors, so this must have probably gone lighter, which is good. I mean it's really nice now, but we were aiming for an ashy kind of greyish blonde. I don't know how you call it, but i'll flash pictures of my pegs and my hairdresser ash has told me that we might not be able to achieve the shade that we want on the first session. So we might have a second or even third just to achieve the shade that i want, and so he was right. You could say what happened was on the first session. It turned out so brassy and orangey. We thought in the beginning. It was really good now, but then, the next day when there was sunlight um, we didn't really like the shade of my hair, so he went back here on the third day each time. Yes, i know right and for my hair to be bleached twice i mean it's not bad, it doesn't look dry and brittle and fizzy. Doesn'T it so i'm gon na tell you why, later at the end of this video, so you better watch the whole thing and i'll show you the process of how ash colored my hair bleached my hair, toned it and what basically what happened that day and then I'M gon na share with you my new hair products that i've added into my lifestyle now being a new blondie. I have some new added products that i'm going to keep buying. I guess to maintain this blonde hair. I honestly don't know how long i am going to be able to maintain this, but for as long as possible, i would want to maintain it for as long as i could and hopefully try out some other shades as well. Maybe next year i'm gon na introduce to you ash lloyd's, hairdresser hairstylist for the longest time and he's also my hair stylist. Now i haven't really blonde before, like it's always just been brown or light brown time for changing yeah time for a change. I'Ve been blonde. What really yeah you said that he bleached his own hair before when he was a teenager. You know him before this is ash he's been a hairdresser or a hairstylist of lloyd's family for many years, and now he's going to cover my hair bun. Actually he's already cut my hair last year. Yes, it was yeah, that's the first time he's touched, my hair and it's the only hair, stylist who's ever touched. My hair here in the uk. It'S been a long time since i've been to a salad around the philippines, and now ash is going to be taking care of my hair forever. Here we go, i've been waiting for this for a long time. I was actually quite hesitant to ask lloyd if, because i thought, he's not going to be up for it and then suddenly he just opened up like hey. I think it would be cool if you dye your hair blonde like real blonde, i'm so happy, i'm finally doing it. Your foil is so cute. It'S rainbows great thanks to prama and then after this. How long are we gon na wait so once i've finished, pre-lightening pre-lightening will stay on for about 40 minutes, obviously with it being in foil, uh, the foil kind of keeps the heat, which will then kind of help the free, like the lift, really well, the idea With keeping it in the fire is that the lighter the hair the easier it is for me to tone it and kind of create that nice kind of ashy look. But you said that if it's not going to go that light, we might have another session right. Yeah worst case scenario, which i don't now i'm kind of obviously working with the hair and kind of looking at it section by section as i'm going through. I think it's going to lift okay. To be perfectly honest, yeah i mean from what i can see. It'S quite light on the ends which, if anything, because you don't run the color through when you obviously you do your own roots at the top. How long does it usually stay blonde like what, in terms of the toner, but what we've tended to what we've found over the years through obviously kind of doing stuff like this is that with prelightener? Obviously, it kind of naturally lifts the napkin. The warm colors out of the head, all toners do are basically neutralized yellows reds oranges, any any sort of color that we don't need to see tone. Let'S get rid of that. Oh, no, we're gon na go to the beach soon wrong timing. So yeah, that's pretty much all it is when it comes to tony the hard. The hardest part is the bleaching it's getting. It'S allowing the bleach to kind of do its thing. That'S what takes longer exactly and that's why really, whenever i do this sort of work the longer i can leave it on for the better. Well, that's why i don't tend to go any further than sort of 15 minutes, because obviously i've got a look at hair. Conditioned as well and there's no point in me getting you that really nice ashy color, if your hair is snapping off or like chewing gum at the end of it, which nobody wants yeah, oh, my goodness, okay, what um silver shampoo! Do you use on your clients? Now so i use it, i use quite a few ranges when it comes to silver, because it's kind of goes on preference really. So, for my clients, that kind of, like that nice sort of clean blonde, we'll use one that's from l'oreal l'oreal and it's basically a silver shampoo, just called service in a simple bottle. Do i have to use the silver shampoo every day? No, so i recommend a client using it once twice a week, because if you use it too much, what happens is if the hair becomes quite coarse and porous it sucks in the blue, which then you know when you see people walking around with that really sort Of gray bluey hair yeah, it's like almost like a blue rinse yeah. My older clients used to have yeah. It does gradually wash out, but at the time once it's done, you're kind of like okay. I'Ve got blue hair. How about for the conditioner? Is there a silver conditioner as well? You can use a surface conditioner if you want to oh, would that be too much it can be because then, where that is so potent it does stick to the hair, and if you don't rinse it out, it can look blue. So there's really no need for the silver conditioner. No, you can use a normal conditioner because to be fair, the shampoo does a lot of the work for you, okay, so yeah and then basically just seal everything in oh making good use of my waiting time yummy. Why am i a unicorn rainbow hat oh yeah, rainbow hair, it's gon na go light. It'S gon na go really really light and then it's gon na turn blonde magic. Do you think so? Do you think he's got magic, yeah, yeah, he's gon na turn, mommy's hair into blonde. Like the bobby's head, she wanted my hair to be already colored blonde. Yesterday. She was so excited. He needs to go home because it's like 9 p.m. Here five hours of work, but he said it turned out better than he expected. Definitely but um we'll see that when it's dry yeah, i'm me too um. I just have a few questions like since it's my first time to be blonde yep. Are there any more tips that you would want to share with me? Yeah so obviously make sure that you do your silver shampoo once twice a week just because, obviously it is after the first session. So silver shampoo will just keep the blood nice and fresh. Make sure that you know you can condition through if you've got like an intense treatment mask then use that once twice a week, that'll just keep the hair looking shiny, soft and also the blonde from looking dry and dehydrated. Basically, i could use my regular conditioner and hair treatment mask that i'm using yeah, but do you want to recommend any products? If i was going to recommend you anything, i would say if you can get hold of the l'oreal bondifier shampoo, then that will work. Fine that'll keep the blood nice and fresh. How about? I would just like to tell you that before i purchased these products, i did a thorough research. I did a lot of reading. I did a lot of self studying based on my hair type and i was led to these products so the first one that i'm about to show you is the shampoo it's from l'oreal professional, siri expert, it's magnesium silver and i use this twice a week. Now you must be wondering: what's the difference between a silver shampoo and a purple shampoo, i honestly don't know, but it just makes sense that if i would want to make my hair ashy blonde, then i should use silver shampoo right. But apart from that, i've read a lot of genuine reviews from real users. So far it's been working for me and then for the second one. It'S the l'oreal color protect purple reviving oil. So this is so good. I really love this because it makes my hair feel so soft. It detangles my hair and, at the same time it helps with neutralizing my tone, the tones of my hair, especially that i've just gone to the beach. So i was kind of worried that it might turn my hair brassy, but because of these products, i think i was able to maintain it. Well, i put this on my towel. Dried hair. You can also use this. I think, even when it's dry, but i haven't tried it yet and then for the condition i'm on, i still use the old conditioner that i've been using it's also from l'oreal. Actually, there are two products that i consider my holy grail, but the first one is the bb hair, dresser bumble and bumble: hair dressers, invisible oil. So it's a heat and uv protective primer. You know what, before i'm a non-believer of hair protectant sprays, because i found that they always weigh my hair down. It does feel soft, but it feels so flat and heavy. I'Ve never been fond of any hair protective sprays before until just three weeks ago, and a lot of people have vouched on its efficacy. Now i am vouching for its frequency as well, and by the way these are not sponsored okay. So i am genuinely saying my reviews about these products. I hope they never stop producing them and the second product that i consider my holy grail is this one. My hair mask this: is my new hair mask it's from shubimura art of hair, ultimate reset, so extreme repair treatment for very damaged hair. So it's perfect for bleach, colored hair. Since my hair was bleached twice, so i badly needed something that would really revive my hair. I know that i've got my old hair mask, but i need something that's stronger for like super bleached hair. So now i invested on something expensive because it's not always about the brands. It just so happened that it's true rimura and it's expensive, but i do believe in it and a lot of people vouch for efficacy as well, and i do vouch for it now that i'm using it because it is truly effective for me, it's all about finding The right products for your type of hair keep looking for that product keep reading about it read the ingredients, know what your hair really means. That'S the most important thing: it's not always about the brand. It'S not always about the most expensive brands out there. Well, not effective, then why not go for it, but when it comes to my hair, i think i'd like to splurge on at least one to two items that i know would really make my hair. Look super good.
