Oh, oh, so so that's it! That'S the video. The third day of thriftedness will be insanity. Don'T cancel me, you know legend has it that the timeline of my hair is more complicated than the timeline of the x-men franchise, and i think that it's true, my hair has been through a lot and it's beyond a joke. At this point, i'm having fun and by the end of thriftness, you guys will see me have a complete transformation. A total reset i've booked myself a hair appointment for december 24th, a little bit of a christmas present for myself, i'm going to have a treatment, cut and color, and i'm planning on going very, very short. So why don't i experiment and do some crazy, crazy things to it that no sane person would ever contemplate doing? Why would i do such a thing for views? You'Re here? Aren'T you so this is how my hair looks at the moment, and it's come to this thanks to me, dyeing my hair rainbow using every shade of arctic fox hair dye, then taking every single shade of arctic fox hair dye, mixing them all together to make hair Soup and dyeing it on this side, which has now turned out to be a little bit purple. I left you guys on a bit of a cliffhanger. You know one of my other videos and people have been asking what happened? What did you do? I realized it. Wasn'T quite interesting enough to make an entire video about so i may as well just tell you now. I took the fire truck red color. I just put it over the top of absolutely everything. It was bizarre because after three or four washes the red stayed up here as you can see, but it disappeared from this side of this side and the purple was still underneath it, the pink, the yellow, the green, the blue. It was all still underneath the red which surprised me beyond belief. I don't know how hair science works and i'm not destined to find out. All we do on this channel is commit hair atrocities, speaking of which i've been wanting curtain bangs for quite some time, and i was on tik tok the other day and i came across a brad mondo tutorial. My story mondo over here, has a two-part tutorial on how to cut curtain bangs. The first part has 10.8 million views, and sometimes it doesn't go that well, it's actually quite a simple thing to do, and i'm going to show you today, just how you do it. Hopefully it goes well for you and if you don't don't blame me, because i probably did something wrong one, with very close teeth and with separated teeth like this, i have one of those something that and then you can wet your hair or you can use a Spray bottle to wet your hair, or is it alcohol about two or three inches up to you, depending on how thick you want them and, depending on how thin your hair is? Naturally, i'm gon na go about two inches back. Take these down to about the end of her eyebrow, so you should have this little triangle section right here that doesn't look like a triangle looks like a square. The triangle i have provided is the same sort of triangle i would have drawn in primary school, but that's fine, so we're going to hold our scissors like this. We are actually going to take this entire section into one now. Normally, i wouldn't do that, but we're trying to hang on hold them like what oh, oh interesting, the ring finger is the one through to hold not not two like this has done it like that fascinating. I learned that the hard way and i'm going to take a strand from each end and just make sure they are the same exact length on both sides. You can always perfect our work once we're done. Okay, you know we can't not. If you're me there's no such thing as perfecting anything in my life, it's not physically possible she's. Already looking banging you're gon na add a little bevel pick up the hair. I comb it parallel to the parting and then i hold my fingers parallel to the parting and now cut off. Oh my god, sorry. What was that even in english, my brain just did not. I didn't comprehend a single thing. He just said we're. Oh, i see. Oh, you know seeing as i watched that in slow motion and i paused it. I have noticed something something that never occurred to me until this moment. The way that hairdressers use their fingers is different to the way that us mortals do so look at brad's finger. If you look at my hand, placement my middle finger is on top, but he's got the index finger on the top fascinating, because then he puts pressure on the index finger downwards, which then kicks this upwards. It makes so much sense because i was holding it like this and i the hair was going like that downwards. So if i'd cut it like that, it, i probably wouldn't have been able to get on the right angle, because my fingers are in the way. But you reverse your finger. Oh my god. I feel, like i've just learnt something that i shouldn't know. Okay, all right hand is like this home is like this fingers like this and he's cutting downwards like this, except his scissors are actually cutting. That did nothing. Oh dear oh [, __ ], oh please tell me part 2 is going to fix this. Oh you're doing a great job. I can see you following along and i am so damn proud of you. I am now gon na just blow dry, her hair and then we're gon na go in and detail the bangs, i'm just gon na throw in some electric green moisture cream just to rehydrate her ends and we're gon na use forcefield heat shield. This is gon na help her style last all day, all night and throughout the week, all right and now we're ready to blow dry. Okay, we are gon na use a one and a half inch ceramic round brush. You can also use a flat brush for this. I am just gon na take the hair, lay it right on top of the brush and blow it downwards, and i'm just going to do a quick little now bring the hair to one side and blow dry it and then the other side and blow dry. It. Okay - and it should look something like this - you can brush or comb the bangs back and then part them mixing out those bangs again bring them all the way up to the top, and now just be careful and cut into the hair. This will slightly give you some separation on the ends of your hair and just going down at a slant and slowly cutting out some of that hair. So now it's going to really escalate this look and finish it all off is some styling. Let me put some waves in her hair, and here is the final look, i'm obsessed so cute. Look at the way the bangs just seamlessly blend into the head. That is exactly what you want to try to achieve when you do this to yourself. Look at the way it carves out her bone structure. Are you kidding me, stop you're doing too much. If you end up giving this a try, please make a video or send me a photo. I would just love to see what you do. I don't blame brad. I can only blame myself, no matter how slowly i watched his tutorial. I still [ __ ] it up. I guess i'm destined to never have curtain bangs, because every single time i try to cut my own fringe. Somehow it ends up too short, and i look like i'm wearing a bowl on my head. The only thing i can think to do now to ever so slightly salvage. This situation is to dye. My hair sahara rose, give myself a bob. What can i say? Beth harmon is an icon, so i think i'm going to take about this much off. It'S not quite a bob, but i have a little bit of a plan. So i'm filming thriftedness right now, oh - and you guys - are probably wondering what is this hair dye? Video got to do with thrifting because for the whole month of december, i'm posting videos about thrifting. Well the dress that i'm wearing thrifted, the nightgown i was wearing in the intro thrifted and the outfit that i end up. Putting on after i've cut my hair and after i've dyed, it will also be thrifted. So there you go. That'S my workaround! That'S how i'm working thrifting into the hair content, so my plan for thriftiness is every friday. I'M going to do something to my hair. Today is friday, the 3rd of december and i'll be dying. My hair sahara rose, which is the color that we dyed sam's hair and, as i remember from that video, it's actually very, very, very red. So i'm really excited to do that. I'Ve been wanting to use that color ever since sam used it then next friday, the 10th i'm gon na do something else on friday, the 17th - i will do something else and then, on friday, the 24th of december. I have my appointment at the hair salon and if the lovely hairdresser looks at my hair and says hum, there is no saving this. I guess we'll just shave it off. So here's the color i'm going to be using today. This is sahara, rose by hello bubble. I got this on yes style. Hello bubble is definitely my favorite hair dye to use because it's a foam and it makes it really really really easy. You just pour the two sachets into the bottle, give it a little bit of a swirl and then pump it out and you apply the foam like you would with shampoo. No, this is not a sponsorship, but i do have an affiliate link for this stuff. If you buy it off, yes, style i'll, make commission and if you're like me - and you really truly - cannot be bothered to like part, your hair, something like this. It'S so dead easy. It'S literally just put it on lather. It up cover your whole head. The fact that this is what i would look like if i shaved my head, makes me really want to do it a pixie cut or something. I would love that all right. So now that i've covered my whole head in sahara rose, i'm gon na wait for half an hour or so or maybe an hour. I don't know depends how distracted i get and then i'm gon na rinse it off and uh sam and michelle are coming over. Where are you i'm? So sorry, i've left you down here for an hour. How long has it been like, like literally oh, this is my new vlogging camera. I got it just for thriftness, so i can pull it out and shove it in my friends faces. I knew you would literally michelle. I bought this skirt. I bought this because of you. I really yeah. I saw it and i was like oh i'm gon na get this, and then i shall yeah and the cardigan too. I was like i would wear both of these. Cardigan is a danger field and the skirt the skirt is like not branded, and it's look look at this look at it is this where, because of you, alex is just going to slowly transition into machine learning. Wait. I love this. I love the fabric yeah, that's actually so soft yeah yeah, like i like you, touched it and then i looked at it and i didn't need to touch it to be like that looks thick, it's holding its shape, [ __ ]. It'S been like two hours. I think i left this for way too long. I'M gon na have to wash my hair in the sink, because i've just filmed a skincare, video and i've. Just put all this really nice skincare on my face and i don't want to get in the shower and wash it all off so into the sink dan. I forgot to bring a towel. Thank you. Oh, i went to just do that thing that i normally do where i run my hair like this through the towel, and then i remembered all the comments that people left for me saying: don't do that. It'S really bad for your hair. So thanks for the advice guys, i shall just gently pat it dry all right so now that i've washed my hair out, i'm actually going to do a bit of a treatment to it. So one of my subscribers sent me a message and said: if i'm looking for a good treatment, i should get coco and eve, so i bought it online and i'm going to give it a try. This is really nice packaging. I'Ve never used this before, but it's called cocoa and eve like virgin. Super nourishing, coconut and fig hair mask evenly, distribute a generous amount of product to towel. Dried hair leave for five to ten minutes and then rinse with warm water and use it one to two times a week. The box also comes with a tangle tamer brush, which is really nice. It'S like this really smooth soft sort of silicony matte kind of material. It'S really nice to hold, and it's adorable colored too, and the set also came with a microfiber hair towel wrap. Oh it smells so nice. So what do you reckon generous amount is like like that? That'S like half the product. Oh it's so smooth! It'S so creamy! Oh, my god, i love this see. That was a good recommendation. I don't even know if it's gon na leave my hair feeling good or not, but i'm already happy with this recommendation. I think i need more because it i think it needs to really get in there and coat everything i i may even use the whole tub. Who knows we all know how fried my hair is. So i feel like there's no such thing as too much hair mask so apparently you're supposed to use the little comb to like evenly apply the mask and the packaging said. The comb has unique. Two-Tiered bristle technology, as in the bristles, are two different lengths. Wow science has gone too far. You know people are always saying to me, alex your hair is so damaged. It'S all gon na fall out. Well, that's not true you're, just a hater you're, just a hater! Oh! This is so cool. It'S like, like a sort of pod shape, they look like knobby. Look at the shape of this thing. It'S kind of like a triangle, and you sort of put this part around the back of your head, bend over scoop all your hair up into it. There'S this little thing here and there's a button on the back wow. This is so smart genius invention, absolutely genius. I love this thing all right. Well, i need to leave my hair mask on for 10 minutes now. So we're going to pick what we're going to have for dinner. So what are we having? That would be my hair in the head? I'M sorry, sorry, you're just blown away by this. I can smell it too. Now it's wow! It'S really not good! Wait! It'S not! That'S that literally smells smell. My finger alex that actually smells like a jewelry polish product. Yesterday, yeah you guys really don't like the smell. Do you um? So what are we having i'm getting a purple drink? What what a purple drink a purple drink? It says purple dough, you won't share it with me why it doesn't say what it is. It just says: would you like a purple doll? It doesn't tell you what the [ __ ] it is, it says purple and then the price purple. Oh, let's give it a try, signature purple, dolce mysterious purple drink with nothing else written about it. Oh look at the little time she's like bailey, ellie belly. There'S a donut maple, glazed bacon, donut burger. What do they donut them? Do they serve it on a doughnut that you can donate? Can you order that for me? I want that. Oh, my god can i just say, look at look at his ear and your hair. You guys are equally majestic gingers. Look at it look. He looks like a maidens beautiful, although he does have chicken poo dried onto him, so we don't love him too much. We won't talk about that. Oh, my god, michelle your necklace. Is it sam? Is this the one you made? You bet it is holy [ __, ], sam. This is incredible. Are you going to sell this? Ah no limited edition, one of a kind? Oh just recreate, i'm kidding, he will be selling it. Yes, not not the one you're wearing. No, you can't drag it off. What is it oh, my gosh, let's marvin glaze, and what does it taste like it, doesn't even taste remotely purple the [ __ ] is purple meant to taste like alex elves and unicorns mixed together, my god, it's 4 am i've. Had this hair mask on for 8 hours, you know i worked out exactly where i went wrong and it was all in the positioning of my fingers because i've ended up with a longer bit in the center than what i had on the sides. I'M going to give this one last. Try and now all there is left to do is hope and pray that my hair skin nails vitamins help to grow this fringe. Back out, i swear. I will have curtain bangs one day, i'm really happy with this coconut stuff. My hair feels very nice and you know i did indeed leave it on for eight hours and i think that's the best thing i could possibly have done for my hair. Usually at the end of my hair videos, i like to uh blow dry and style. My hair and put on some makeup and do a grand reveal, but it's 4 30 in the morning i haven't been to bed yet, and i need to upload this video that i'm filming right now so come back tomorrow for thriftmas day four to see what all Of this looks like when it's properly styled,

bobbie mc: Alexxxxx!! I'd love to see you try out the curly girl method! I'd love to see your natural curls pop out, I think it'll completely change how your hair feels, it won't feel as damaged or frizzy, even if you can't get curls from it, it might help improve the health a little!

Lucinda: When you cut the angled bang pieces it became too short because you didnt divide the bangs down the center again evenly. By not working each half separately, you pulled in hair from the opposite side which was then clipped too short. That said the short bangs are cute on you!

bebe44144: Alex!!! When brushing you hair, brush it from the tips of your hair and work your way up. doing this helps prevent damage from brushing out the knots in your hair. When you start from the top of your hair you're pushing down all the knots and tangles to the ends and they all accumulate there making it harder to brush out. This then causes you to rip and damage your hair when trying to brush them out. By starting at the bottom of your hair it prevents that from happening and is more gentle. I noticed you started from the top when you were brushing your hair out here 15:31 and with wet hair its even more important to do this because the hair is most fragile and prone to breakage when its wet. I hope this helps!

Naomi Stein: I actually like the way your hair looks at the end of the video. The color seems nice too. Also, I checked out Sam's etsy and It's amazing! Might get the flower necklace when it's on there!

kali rock: Be careful with what you do to your hair before the appointment like give it a good few weeks of a break before you go or the hair stylist won't be able to do much. Especially dye wise.

brittany paugh: Hairstylist here! You did amazing except you missed one crucial part that he didn’t mention in his clip. Once you do your triangle section, split it down the middle and clip one side up! This helps to not accidentally grab hair from the other side. Then cut one side parallel to the parting then clip it up and do the other side! I know you can do it! Love the red ❤️

KZesty: These are so fun to watch. You gotta live your life and change it up when you want! Also your skin looks amazing with that skincare you did, wow!

Sandy Lee: No one can fault you for trying. It looks like you are really enjoying life. I have to say that I am going to predict that one day you will cut all your hair off because you have mentioned going bald in almost every video and I dont think you will be happy until you do. Go For It! you can pull it off.

Jolene Lopez: I’m I the only one that laughed when your shirt fell because that’s something that would happen to me if I color my hair love you girl

Lauren Harrison: Oh my gosh! I’m so glad you liked my recommendation of Coco & Eve!! When I do my hair masks I leave them in for hours too. Can’t wait to see the hair styled tomorrow

Luna Redelvour: Watching you cut the whole section of bangs off to the side instead of just the one side hurt, as someone who regularly cuts her own fringe

BobcatBones: Yeeees, do a micro pixie!!! Your bone structure would absolutely POP. I ended up going from a dry, fried mane to a micro pixie to start fresh a few years back and it was honestly the best decision.

Sundae with Sprinkles: This is just the final proof. You look great in every color and cut even the oopses look good. My favorite dye job was the long white blonde you looked like a supermodel. But my mom was a red head and so your natural color is the most favorite. We should all be a bit braver to try new things. :)

EpitomeOfAwkward: To keep your hair as healthy as possible. Once you have it cut by the professional... get a silk pillow case- this allows your hair to slip across your pillow case while you sleep without so much resistance and friction lessening frizz and split ends. Use only micro fiber hair towels on your hair when it is wet they are much gentler on your hair than regular towels.. do not brush your hair when wet. If you must do something with it while wet- A wide tooth comb or wet brush will do much less damage. also use a tangle teezer/ tangle tamer on dry hair instead of a regular brush. Always brush your hair from the ends up to the roots, working your way up allows the tangles to loosen instead of yanking the tangle down the hair shaft and causing stretching/breaking. And finally, really good shampoo and conditioner without sulfates and drying alcohols, and regular masking. Hope this helps!

Mai N: A short red pixie would be so romantic on you! ❤️ You’ve got such a beautifully framed face, a lovely heart shaped hairline, a super feminine jaw and neckline- I could go on forever but a super short cut would compliment you wonderfully. Whatever you choose, it has my vote!

Celadon Angel: before I even watch the whole video just know that your videos bring m so much peace and happiness! I love watching what you do to your hair even if it makes other people annoyed, I sat my boyfriend down to watch one of your videos with Caitlin with me earlier because I've been watching you for years and you're one of my favourite youtubers and the first thing he said was how cool your hair was! Thank you for all the content you make for us ♥

TheGreyBunnyGirl: Okay, I know the bangs weren't quite what she wanted but I absolutely love the cut and color she ended up with, everything looks good on Alex, but that was extra fantastic. I'm so excited to see it dry and styled tomorrow

M.: The pixy cut could be styled to be either cute or badass and would look amazing on you!

KlaydoTheStormMage: You freaking killed me when you sent Brad the thank you. I think the bangs you ended up with do suit you even though it isn't what you were going for at all.

Laura Ward: I have a slight styling tip! I wanted to grown my bangs out and I styled them as curtain bangs whilst they grew and obviously they're too short to style the way Brad suggests but if you split your bangs in the centre and use a round brush (start with the brush on top of the bangs not underneath) and curl and dry away from the face (to the side) they mimic that curtain bang style! Hope that makes sense

Jane Leeder: Your hair atrocities are our entertainment Alex! I laughed out loud so much at the fringe reveal I woke the kids My vote is pixie cut ‍♀️

Olivia Grace: I cannot wait to see what your hair looks like styled and dried! That color is incredible on you and honestly I love the bangs on you!

J Minsh: Living my hair adventures through you! But after all this time it stresses me out that you don't have proper hair dressing scissors, I got some cheap ones at the start of lockdown thinking I'd use them maybe twice. Used them at least 20 times now! It makes the whole hair cutting experience a million times easier. Can't wait to see what happens on 24th.

Caroline Gutgsell: Alex, I just this week shaved my head after damaging it for so long and am going to regrow my natural brown curls. I was too afraid to shave my head before, but I feel so confident and sexy and even feminine with only about an inch of hair. If you end up with a pixie cut, I know you’ll be able to pull it off!

Erica Davis: 9:23 I'm literally crying this was freaking hilarious

Amy Smith: I mean after finishing the whole video. I love the cut. I love the color. I think its my favorite that youve had all year. It suits you very well

Lauren Swaine: omg i laughed so much when you let go of the bangs!! i could see it being too short right from when you sectioned the pieces but omg alex you suit short bangs so much!!! it literally looks so perfect on you

Sanguine-Tenshi: Alex: "As in the bristles are two different lengths...wow...science has gone too far..." Also Alex: "There's a button on the back. This is so smart. Genius invention. Absolutely genius. I love this thing."

Martins DontJump: Alex parting her hair and already doing it wrong. Face palm you're my favourite trainwreck

**SamiK**: I LOVE that we first saw Sam’s girlfriend as your fan, shopping with you and now she’s with your bestie! Also, I spit my cookie out when your shirt dropped! I laughed too hard!

Katelyn Elms: I actually love the straight bangs! Super cute!!

Butters The Bean: I think it came out good.

Sky Kol: I love "chaotic and making the most of life Alex" and I will never tell her what she can and can't do with her hair. HOWEVER. Once you get it cut and want to start taking care of it again while it grows out, listening to some of these comments could be super helpful! Personally, I have fairly curly hair and always had insane damage because I didn't know how to take care of it. I know everyone has posted it all before, but the best and simple changes that are good for any and all hair: - Minimise heat usage, and use a heat protectant spray if you do need to use heat - Don't rub hair in towel, pat/dab/scrunch it instead (you're already all over this one! Woo!) - If you can, don't use a towel at all. Using a 100% cotton t-shirt will actually reduce frizz a lot better! - Try not to wrap your longer hair in the "hair turban" as it results in pulling/tugging hair at the roots - Brush slowly from the ends of your hair and move upwards incrementally (honestly a bloody life changer for me) - Use a wide toothed comb, particularly if you are brushing your hair while wet - If you hair gets super frizzy overnight, sleeping on a satin pillowcase or wearing a satin bonnet can do wonders! Cannot wait to see all these amazingly fun changes each Friday and so excited to see what the hairdresser does come Christmas!

terriandlola: I lost my Dad to covid on November 3rd and your video’s are helping me through a very dark time. I love you experimenting and having fun with your hair!

Little Baozi: I really think a pixy cut would look so cute on you! You have such a beautiful Face and it looked really good when you had your hair like that when you put the dye on!

Sally Rose: Your hair looks incredible! I love the red and the bangs look super cool! That hair mask did wonders for your hair as well! ❤️

Savannah Johnson: I did a pixie cut when I turned 18 & my family thought I was crazy lol (I had waist length hair) BUT let me tell you it was so amazing! It’s such a nice change of pace & so freeing hehe, I am quite tempted to do it again, as ironically my hair is waist length once more You should totally give it a go Alex!

Talita Di Giorgio Torres: I love to see you "destroying" your hair! Your hair, your damage, your rules!! As long you keep posting I will keep watching!

MoonRosé: Can we add a few words for Sam here! That necklace is stunning! He's really mastered his craft!

Melanie Mendoza: Totally cut your hair into a pixie Alex! I went through the same phase as you where I would keep recoloring my hair till I decided nothing was going to make me happy until I cut it. Safe to say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. It’s so easy to style and makes me feel unique! I’m actually rocking a super short mullet so you don’t have to go for the traditional pixie either :))

greyskies.artify: Your hair looks so good at the end. That hair colour looks so good on you!

The Sustainable Doula Abby: I feel like Alex just really wants to shave her head. There’s a lot of talk of doing it. And by the time her appointment comes around I think she’s just gonna do it

baranamtara: You inspired me to try my dyeing dreams... xD Well, first had pink hair ends, now I am a dark red (because I'm a brunette and didn't want to bleach my hair)... but omg I love it so much. It looks soooo good on me. Thank you~~ And yay for red! I am so excited to see the final result tomorrow.

babykittyprincess: Omg the red and the bangs look so good!

Schnitzel Thoughts: Look into getting a gloss treatment on your hair! It is incredibly hydrating, adds shine, helps fix split ends, and lasts for a few weeks.

Molly Moo: Honestly you have the bone structure to pull off a pixie/shaved head, but then I think you look beautiful no matter what so ‍♀️ lol

another user: Makes me so happy that her videos are leaning more towards 'lifestyle' lately! Hope she continues to do that after vlogmas too. Love seeing her friends in the vlogs. You can tell they are all such genuine, lovely people

Ky Rh: Oh Alex I love you so much, you're a walking disaster and this is sooo entertaining ! I love the bright pink on you and honestly I hope you have to cut your hair really short at the end of the month because it'll look amazing !

Pastel_Moon: Yes come to the pixie party Alex! I think you would look amazing! I thought I'd never go that short and now I don't think I will ever grow it out. There are so many different kind of pixie cuts too so lots to choose from and when you feel like going a bit longer or longer there are always the fun of wigging it up. I think you would look so cool with a modern updated audrey hepburn pixie cut.

Rachael Foy: I am laughing soo hard. This is hilarious. Alex please don’t ever take yourself seriously. I love how you don’t give a you’re a great role model and remedy for love island etc.

kelly Martin: I always love seeing you hang out with your friends and Dan and the animals. It brings me such happiness. I was worried you were going to dye your hair in that beautiful dress, but laughed when I saw you were wearing the Lularoe skirts. Perfect use for those MLM monstrosities!

Erin Brewer: Alex, your humor as ever is on point. Laughed my butt off! Although i definitely said " kind of a look" after you revealed your bangs even though it's not what you were originally going for

Eleanor Vidales: You look great Alex and I love your videos. They're so calming and you work so hard! I admire you and look forward to the rest of this month!

Mura Saki: The face you made at 8:00 had me in tears! edit: I was wrong 9:45 was even better, I am absolutely sleep deprived but you still manage to make me laugh! I'm afraid of how the video is going to end

justme: Hey I just cut my own fringe for the first time this week! Also turned out shorter than expected but I love it and tbh it's just a lot of fun and I'm glad to see it seems like you're having so much fun too, just experimenting as much as possible before you chop it of anyway (I think you'd rock a pixiecut btw ;) )

Endless Moon: I laughed so hard at the top slip you recovered well from that. And the hair dye was perfect for you made you look so beautiful

ventrue87: i love this haircolor on you <3 and i think a pixie cut would be lovely and suit you nice!

Nikki: The salon watching this, knowing there are more changes on the way: ️️

Elle Charlton: You are my absolute fav on you tube . Raw , real and absolutely gorgeous …and I can relate I’m constantly taking craft scissors to my hair !

A M J: This was too funny! The face at the end of part one made me laugh harder than I have in a long time!

Nayla Johnson: Alex! You never fail to make me laugh. I actually like short bangs on you. I can’t wait for you to see the stylist. I feel like you’ll love the experience and hopefully you vlog it lol. I love the feeling of someone else doing my hair. And hopefully you learn some products and tricks to help you in your everyday life. Keep doing you Alex and enjoying your life!

Brittany Webb: This lovely chaos and I love it more and more each time!! An ode to the haters!! Keep being YOU❤️❤️❤️❤️

Lora Mae: I LOVE that coco and eve stuff, it made my hair feel amazing and the smell is the best. love that hair colour on you, keep it like that and get a pixie cut.

sherlockfreak: I have two of those twist and button hair wrap things! I love them so much. They've helped some with the damage I used to do by towel drying my curly hair

Suzy: I love watching both your and brads videos. I’m so excited for this.

BsTheLadynred: I went to cosmetology school years ago, and that was the first time I learned that way to hold the shears. It's not easy to do that when you're used to cutting in other ways. Brad's going to say, Girl no one told you to do that. You went a little too short with the cutting.

Ivy is Dead: YES! Coco&Eve is a great choice! You've been rebuilding the hair a lot with that Kerastase product, which is ok, but it does need nutrients and water more than aminoacids right now, so products like Coco&Eve are great to bring back moisture! Look for products (even cheaper ones from drugstores and supermakets) that contain ceramides, collagen, hyaluronic acid... Look specifically for hydrating products, stuff to put water back into the hair and you should be golden! Application wise: concentrate the product on the lenght and ends, not in the roots. The ends are the part that needs the most and the roots dont deal very well with heavy textured products, so avoid getting product there, unless explicitly indicated on the instructions.

Luisa Martina: Your hair actually looked so good at the end! The cut and the color!

LadyTofu: You have beautiful bone structure for a shaved head! I shaved my head a few years back and it was the best thing I ever did! It felt so freeing. Feeling water/ wind against your head is the best feeling. <3

L R: What I love is that while you chose hair chaos, you still look amazing every time

Amy Smith: Might not have did curtain bangs but you did a good normal fringe

meikaze13: I actually love the way your bangs came out <3

Victori Parriman: Alex! Lol something that will also help with lessening shedding is to comb or brush your ends first and work your way up! Also to help hydrated your hair use more moisturizer on your ends rather than your roots bc your roots are fresh but your ends will always be the most damaged bc they are older!! Hope this helps <3

Rosetta Drone: One more tip: people with wavy or curly hair (or any hair type really) would benefit from drying your hair with a t-shirt as opposed to any kind of terry cloth towel. Terry cloth is awful for your hair even if you’re gently patting

Vyv: Yes, a pixie cut would look BOMB!! You have such a gorgeous faceshape and neck, it will highlight it perfectly. Plus, it is summer for you, so perfect timing.

HeatherKiwi: Omgg I was crying watching the side by side with brad’s video. I love you Alex! I do really think the bangs look really nice.

idontsleeplol lol: It looks so so nice! Even though it’s not exactly the same as mondos mannequin it really suits you!!

Angela Hoke: I love December so much just because you post basically everyday and I enjoy your videos so much. I love the irony and laughs keep doing what you’re doing :)

Plant Powered Crystal: You know what? I LOVED the end result. The hair color really brought it together.♥️

Mez Charney: That red looks amazing on you! Your skin is glowing. I love watching you enjoy life and mess around with your hair!

gloria brown: Omg! You look so stunning with that hair color ✨I really think it brings out your features and pairs so well with your skin tone. I think the bangs suit you so well but if your trying to achieve curtain bangs I’d just let it grow out for a while to probably chin length so when you curl and style them it’ll look shorter and give off more of what I think you were going for

TFeary1992: I feel like your hair melt down perfectly sums up how most people feel during lockdown. Just the rest of us don't have the guts to go balls to the wall as you have.

ch.: I'm actually a big fan of the bangs and bright red hair, I wanna see it styled!

Shaz Psychs: Aww Alex I love the new colour! and YES coco and eve hair mask is sooo lush I use it a lot! Also look into argon oil that will help ya hair too.

Madison Courtney: You always end your videos in a way that makes me really excited to see the next!

Claudia Cavazos: Alexxxx!!! I use the Brad Mando Wave Tech Wave Foam and I think this would be perfect for you! I scrunch my hair(ends to root) with the foam and let it air dry. It’s been my go to hair product for effortless hair.

Carly tucker: Excited to see the finished look! Love the color

Cassandra VanDuyn: I'm happy she's having a good time, and I support it, but I miss her long gorgeous red hair so much

B H: The full fringe actually really suits you!! You look great!

Rosa: I just love watching you. I have had three heart attacks in the last month and you are one of the few you tube programs I watch every time you post. Thank you from the depths of my extremely squashy heart.

CicelySkittle #1: Absolutely love that rich red on you, and I think you managed the wolf cut this time. It looks lovely on you

Caroline: Her blank stare after she was done cutting . The reason it stayed red at the top is because the other hair is alot more porous. You know, as a hairdresser I really love the attitude you have about your hair. It's a healthy mindset to have. Don't listen to those people being rude about it.❤

katechan93: Wow your hair looks fabulous! That mask and the new colour have done wonders. The shade looks beautiful against your skin ❤️

J2Jgames: I have damaged hair and brad's new super gloss treatment makes it look even better than my undamaged hair. People even noticed and asked what I did to my hair, because it's so smooth and shiny. So I bought more XD I bet you'd love it! BTW hair cutting scissors would help keep hair from frizzing. I love your hair videos!

Fe Wagoner: your content has gotten so much better and funny. been watching for two years, im non binary and don't wear most of what you do but I thoroughly enjoy watching you, Archie , your friends and Dan.

Amanda Wheeler: I would love to see you chop half your length off and do a cute modern mullet. (Think: Crystal Lindy) if you do end up shaving your head, playing around with different styles as you cut more and more is so much fun! I did it three years ago and don't regret it!

Ms. Johnson: As much as I enjoy the hair dye videos I adore red hair and can’t wait for the comeback.

Tina Waldoch: Just a small hair tip, if you are interested. If you are going to comb or brush anything through your wet hair, start at the ends, and then work your way up to the scalp. That will help eliminate so many strands from breaking off. You are beautiful, as always! ❤️

My Bubbles: I’m an unhealthy level of excited for all of the Friday hair content that you’re promising us! I can’t wait!!!!

Dominika: I haven't even watched the whole vid yet but giiiiiirl, what are you doing your hair has gone through so much!!! I kinda miss the long red hair tho, hope we'll see it again one day ❤️
