So, on a whim, on the first day of school as I was doing hair I decided to give my #2 the straight bangs (fringe) she has wanted. She had side-swept bangs before. I have not had bangs for 16 years, so I have limited experience working with them... but now is a great time to start!

-Hey everyone. I'm Mindy from Cute Girls, Hairstyles. And, as many of you know, at the beginning of the school year, we decided to randomly cut bangs on one of my girls.. My husband totally didn't want me to, but we did it anyway and it looks great. But being a little bit of a newbie to the bang thing --, because I haven't done bangs on myself for, like 16 years --, I recruited some help.. So my friend, Jenny from ShowMeCute is in town this week visiting., So we are going to have Jenny who has had bangs for a while now show us how to do straight. Bangs on my daughter, here. Almost said her name. -OK. OK. For this kind of bangs. She wants just straight bangs. And I started out that way when I cut my bangs, and so I'm just going to show what I've learned over the years. For the top layer to get just a little bit of something something to the bangs. I take my curling iron and I give it just a little bit of a bend and come down. -Of course always use heat protectorant on the hair before you use any heating tools. Protectant. Before you use any of the tools. -And then on the sides. I'M going to take it straight down. Because with her right now, we want all the length that we can get.. I made a little crease right there, so I'm going to fix it., So I'm going to bring that all the way, down. And then go over to this side and do the same thing. -And by bending it. It just gives it a little bit of shape right. A little something something. -We've got long pieces here in the mix., And so then, on this side, I'm going to want to come over and go down just straight just to get to the length. And then just going to take my comb and comb it. And then you have a little bit of a variation to her bangs. There's not a whole lot to it, but it looks really cute. Kind of like Lea Michele.. Who else did we see Kim Kardashian wears hers like this sometimes. And lots of other stars? If you look at them., -Katie Holmes had hers that way for a while. And there you go just straightened bangs. -And me.. I had mine that way for a while

Cute Girls Hairstyles: @spongeerika Actually, it is a video about straightening the underside of the bangs and then using the flatiron to gently curve the top layer. It makes short bangs look longer. We apologize that it did not look too much different in the video because I actually tested did the style beforehand.

The hairstyles always have been the focus of the videos, and we only include shots of their faces {although we did not in the first 15-20 videos or so} because viewers consistently wrote in saying they preferred to see the front of the hairstyle and not just the back. I am so happy that you like Jenny's channel {ShowMeCute}... we both plan on posting videos for years to come!

bethany urban: my sister cut my hair really short once and I used aloe vera. You can buy it at any plant store, I just got mine at walmart and you just break off the little branch things and squeez out all of the sticky stuff and put in on your scalp. I have pretty long hair now and I think that it worked

You may not see anything wrong with it because you have good intentions, but someone who has bad intentions can take simple information such as a name and try to use it for negative reasons.
