Brooke Smith: HELP! Here’s my problem. I asked for feathery and long bangs. I specifically told my hairdresser to NOT cut my hair straight across and give me blocky bangs. She must have selective hearing or something because she did exactly that. I have half of a bowl cut with really long hair. The only way I can hide this horrendous hair cut is to do the half up half down style with a pound of hairspray and five Bobby pins. Should I cut my hair to my shoulder (which I’m really insecure about) so it doesn’t take so long to grow out, or should I cut my bangs and just keep rolling with straight across terrible bangs? I never wear my hair completely up because my ears come really far out, so I don’t know what styles to do!

The only time I really, really let them grow out for quite a while was in high school, as a way for change/style rebellion since my mom would always cut them before.. After that though...? Back to bangs again, baby! I decided I missed them, I’ve changed them up here and there but I’ve pretty much had them of my own accord ever since haha ‍♀️

박진우: I don't wanna sound like I'm ranting IPSY here and yes their effort for this video is totally appreciated by most stylist including myself. I just wanna make some constructive criticisms and to emphasise what they could've improve or done to make this video/content better and I hope they'll do it next time. 1. The Pixie one looks a bit too defined for the model's face shape. She could've opt for a wispy longer bangs instead with a side framing layers/bits. Pixie bangs doesn't look good on her if I'm being honest as a hairstylist myself. It just made her face even bigger and wider which isn't how bangs should work 2. The Cleopatra Full Bangs is too blunt and unevenly sectioned, should've been parted to the dead centre of the model's head. And she could've added a bit of a layer on the side to frame the face and a bit of texture to highlight the model's beautiful eyes. Lacks texture TBH. She could've just stop at the point cutting and didn't do any blunt cutting anymore just to give the Cleopatra look a modern shag. It's nice but it's too blunt and like I said unevenly parted for a triangle. 3. The Starlet sweeping bangs look is no different to the Flirt look except thickness and length. She could've save more time in just making one video for it cuz they're basically both Sideswept Bangs. 4. The Fringe doesn't look very good when the hair is up on a ponytail. Why? Cuz the length on one side looks uneven to the other and instead she could've just cut a longer curtain bangs that sweeps on both sides of the model's face also to accentuate her ombre hair colour. Cuz certainly curtain bangs looks good whether the hair is up on a ponytail, just flowing down straight or even with full voluminous luscious waves/curls. 5. And finally the best look of this video is the Bombshell Layered Full Bangs/Fringe. It looks perfect on the girl wearing it for she has an oval face and nice features to complement the look. Not much to criticise about it compare to other style of bangs did on this video. What she could've featured here is Curtain Bangs, Wispy Full Bangs, Layered Bangs and the Arch Bangs. Anyhow I hope they improve in future. The models on this video are truly exceptional and I do believe they deserve better than what they got as their bangs.

It is easier to trim your bangs every week or two , than color your roots. I love the short blunt and thick bangs, that leaves no hairline XD . Practical reasons and I love how they look on me.
