My Louise Brooks Bob Haircut With Bangs Fringe In A Barber Shop - Full Complete Haircut Video

So tonight i'm getting my hair cut and i'm very excited, so i have actually wanted a haircut um before the end of 2020. You know to start the new year with a new haircut would be fantastic, unfortunately, because of things or how things are. Um didn't quite happen, but that's okay, um yeah! I was gon na. Have this haircut then um? Well long story short, my haircut's gon na happen tonight. So i'm super excited um yeah. So let me show you my current length. So here is my bangs or french, and i've cut these at least twice. Oh, my goodness, it's so long! So before i fluff my hair i'll show you the current length there we are but yeah so for tonight i'm getting the louise brooks bob um. She was a starlet from the 20s and 30s. I believe all right. Let'S start to fluff up my hair a little bit and oh, my goodness, but yes, the hair on the back of my neck has been bothering me all this. All this needs to go and the great thing about this haircut um, so it should go up to about here. I believe, and then this should be like this should be shaved completely, and this will be like tapered. I believe it's going to feel so great to have my nape shaved. I'M very very excited honestly, there's been times where i just wanted to just take the clippers and try it myself, but that would be as much fun as actually going to a professional to get it done. Now i will tell you my hair is super super soft, so i did this butter mask and oh this is cute. I like it so adorable but anyway, so i did the butter mask. Um, youtube live and one thing what it did was made. My hair very very soft, i was surprised i was not expecting that okay, so i think my hair will work for the shoot for the start of it anyway. Um. But yes, it's gon na be different, because i've had all this hair since, like the lock down for the most part and has nothing easy to get my hair done. As you see, i did the color myself. Another youtube live um because yeah, i got really tired of the roots, but this looks good. I love the color and the dress is adorable too. So paul got me this dress many years ago and i finally get a chance to wear it. I think it'll. Look great with the new style. So yes up to here, so excited yeah, we'll see if she shows my ear or not. I'M thinking like yeah. I remember how the picture is, but oh, yes and uh, so originally i was going to shoot this video. I had the barber sharp uh with nick, but he was really busy, so um yeah uh kelly suggested kathy um. I just learned her name like yesterday, my hair where'd. It go right there and um. Yes, i've never met her before um but yeah. So this would be very exciting, hoping that uh her and i are on the same page for a haircut, i'm sure it's gon na work out perfectly. But yes, i can't wait and then i'll have to see about doing some pink curls or something with the bob. Since back in the day, that's what a lot of women would do is bub their hair and then finger wave. It pin curl it so i'm very excited and then what i'll do is i'm going to keep this look for a while the new one up this one and then yeah? I want to try some of those things the finger waving and then the pin curling and all that fun stuff, so one more tussle of hair, since i have so much of it right now. Your hair looks pretty clean, so i love your cape. Thank you. This is awesome. It'S beautiful! Let me see if i can figure out how to get this up here. Oh i'm gon na get a neck strip here. First, oh wonderful, yes, but anytime, you'd like to remove the mask, i'm happy to do that as well. Okay, i just want to see your neckline here. You got a really nice neckline, oh wonderful! We got lots of hair. This is awesome, so you know it's so funny uh, because folks usually see my hair and like. Ah, she doesn't really have much hair. But when you get in there, you're like, oh, my goodness, that's a lot of hair. It is it's very thick. How does that feel? Okay, it feels good and feel free to make it nice and tight. Oh ready. I think that's why there's so many snacks yeah we'll get get them lined up here? How does that feel? Does it feel? Okay? Oh yes, wow! This is awesome. It'S so shiny it does it's beautiful. It'S wonderful to meet you, okay, so i have to figure out this chair here and i think i'm going to turn you like this. So i can get a good angle. Okay and i'm going to wet your hair first, i'm going to start in the in your nape area. Here we're going to start with the back. Thank you me too. That'S pretty yeah! I have never used a foam hair color before oh. Is that what you used? It was fun. Do you always part your hair on this side here um, it's pretty natural um, but it can go straight in the middle straighten. The middle and it'll hold straight in the middle okay, but my hair definitely has has a mind of its own. You got some nice strong colics here yeah and i have a little bald spot in the back too. So it's about a thumb width like right back in here. I'M just going to section your hair off here. Okay, i'm not going to worry about the sides right now, i'm just going to concentrate on the back and i'm going to have to put your hands slightly down. Thank you beautiful cake. There sounds good. Have you had your hair short in the past? Oh yes, so i've even shaved my head, bald, you have so i was known as the bald model many many years ago and for several years i've done inverted bobs, before flat tops bald fades. I even did like a little crown or a landing strip. On top of my head, oh you did really so i my plan is to try as many hairstyles as possible. Oh yeah. Now how old are you i'm? 40.? 40.? Oh, my goodness, you look, so young yay still got it. So you like uh louise brooks. Oh yes, so there's a bunch of like a lot of the 1920 videos are just amazing. The quality is so wonderful and you can still um like right now, i'm working on some charlie chap um chaplin. Okay, that's how i'm not saying it incorrect! I'M really bad with names, but um yeah, just i love the clothing and the hairstyles of the era, and the makeup was really cool too yeah mix. So this is going to be cute on you. Thank you, yeah. Like i said, i used to shave my head, so um going short is not an issue you're pretty open to it. Oh yes! So, like i said i i love that photo of louis brooks and i know it goes a bit high, but that's fine yeah. So don't be afraid to get in there with the clippers scissors, whatever okay a little faster, i'm a there nervous, oh for losing, for cutting my hair, yeah yeah. Well just to be on camera. I guess oh you're, fine! I both say, though, that in my oh, my goodness, 20 years of doing these videos, i've only had two people cry and never with me. Why? Why? Because it was too short, oh then they attended. Oh that's them not me! So are yeah okay, yeah yeah! I have one stylist who had anywhere at the entire time but hold on to it. On my face. Oh, i try to be restricted, yeah, that's whatever everybody else wants yeah. I don't go out, so you wouldn't. I wish i could i used to one time ago, but yeah i haven't seen friends at all, so i'm yeah. So i definitely don't have to go this. Oh yeah, so i'm not worried about it. I just put the ass down to be respectful for you, my dad, thank you. Oh it's cute, i'm sure you're doing a fantastic job. It feels really good already. Does it here on my i'm kind of analyzed very sticky, because isn't that the nice thing about here? That'S why i've never complained about it being too short, because i love the color your lips with. Thank you yeah. The fun thing about the lipstick is one of my friends used to have these parties yeah for adult toys for adult what about toys and she had lipsticks that were the shape of penises. Oh cool and i bought one because it was a wonderful shade of red, and so that's what that is modeled after a penis all right, i think, you're, the first person i told that to oh girl after my own heart, oh, i would have my nails done. If i known, i was going to be, oh kelly, didn't mention that it just all happened yet like yesterday. Oh i'm so sorry! Well, if nothing else, you have a mask, so you can kind of hide behind it. Yeah. I am trust me, but i'm sure you're doing a fantastic job. I'Ve never experienced any horrible like haircuts so, and i can definitely tell you know what you're doing. Okay yeah. Surprisingly, i still love what i do. That'S good! That'S always important to love what you do. Yes, i think it's the key to everything in life. You don't love what you do. You'Re pretty lost, and i know i could ask this question. So what clippers did you use on my head? Um they're, an oscar they're, very old. I'Ve had them for years. Oh, they did like the 76 since 76 um there's like a brand of oyster clippers and they're, like they're known as the 7776 and they've been around forever. That'S what i said it's the 76 year right: okay, wonderful and you know with um, oh the blade or the the blade or the guard you're using. I didn't use any i just free handed, oh, oh, my god, you're amazing yeah, i'm kind of anal. That way! Next i'll have folks ask dirk like after the video you know unless they see it, they're like. Oh, my goodness, i love whatever tool. Oh and so we try to find out which ones they were used, which ones are used. It'S very old. Well, if you need a new one, i'm sure i can have uh one of my fans. Send you one really to the shop. Oh, yes, i think we did that for kelly or, i think another shop because usually um. I try to give this the status of the barber a gift. Oh, but my fans usually um pay for it, so that would be my mark, and so he he would do that. We'Ll talk after it's very kind. Well, you know it's an honor to sit in the chair and have you work on my hair, so that's the least that we can do. Oh you're, sweet. Oh, you have a very nice shaped head yeah. I can take extra 50.. Well, i'm 70.. So, oh, my goodness, i would have not thought that i would have thought. Maybe 50s yeah early 50s hi guys hi hi. Did you come here? Watch us. Oh, my god, is it all hair related yeah, it's all hair related, oh really and you're not established. No, i need to go to school. I was going to but uh then um. I'Ve had various like cancers, and things like that, so i had like a you've had cancer. I'M sorry! Oh it's! Okay! I'M well i'm alive, so i can't complain um but yeah. So i had like another little health scare it got resolved, but so i had to postpone and then we moved and so the money i'd saved towards um cosmetology school. I had to spend on like moving and um mortgage and things like that. So i'm sorry! Oh, it's okay though! Well, that's it as long as you're! Well, exactly and the house, i love they've heard the location. I love, so oh no complaints at all, so i figure everything happens for a reason and always works out for the best. It was so long and it was driving me crazy because it would get stuck well. I'Ve done this twice now, where it gets stuck in the car door and seat belt, and all that other good stuff or in bed you'll lay on it and they have to fallen away um so one time um, because i wanted him to cut it really. Super short - and he wouldn't so kind of purposely got him drunk and we put in a ponytail and you cut the ponytail off. So you refuse to cut it like silver because he's like no, i'm not gon na cut your hair, but a butcher like i don't care, just cut it off. I wish i would have videotaped that that would have been funny, and then i saw carmen um she's. My best friend and she's also a stylist but she's, taking very good good caution during these times, which is totally understandable, mm-hmm um and yeah sound like sorry. The next thing she's like, oh, my goodness, who did this to your hair, looks like the husband did. It she's like okay, get in the chair right now, we're fixing it. At least you have somebody to fix it for you exactly foreign you're, cutting it shorter a little bit, you're cutting a little bit shorter. Well, i haven't done the beans yet they're now really cute. I'M so excited okay, yeah, it's adorable on your face, yeah, i totally rock the short hairstyles. What'S that i totally rock yeah you do you seriously? Do your head is little? Oh, my god! Yeah you got a great jawline yeah, it's adorable and kathy. You are so good, oh, so are you finding that you're having to stretch in that or is the height okay? On the chair? Has it in the photos, so i think it's like. I think it was like mid at about here, mid forehead yeah. It was a little higher, i think, than what most people do yeah and that's: okay! Okay, oh yeah! I could, if you want to turn your face towards me, then that that will fit within the camera. So i must spend a good chunk of hair because i can just feel it on the cape yeah. I'M always surprised by how much hair is on the floor. Yes, this bounce is up. Oh yeah, my hair is good yeah and it's dry this. This lays flatter. So just gon na kind of let that stay like that for now, okay yeah, i promised for the next youtube, live that i was gon na use a full bottle of gel on my hair, so wan na turn towards you, no you're, fine too. So, of course, no one else knows just yet, but you've got to see this. This is incredible. I love it. I got my short bangs got my bob, and this feels so soft and light. I can't believe it and it's nice not to have all that hair on my neck, so i'm glad that kathy took care of that. So i'm super excited. I love this cut. I think i look fantastic in it, but yes, i can't wait to put onto my flapper clothing, so i'll probably do that um soon. That was fun that was exciting and then seeing all the hair on the floor because it just always blows my mind how much hair actually comes off my head, because i know it doesn't look like.
