Hi This is Yena A few days ago I went to the Lancome event and Suzy was there ... She wore a ponytail, had bangs and wore a black turtle neck. She looked GORGEOUS and I wanted to try her style ... right yeah. So I wanted to try wide/full bangs, like hers, Savannas love, my cutting bangs vids, so I decided to film myself cutting wide/full bangs yeah. So let's get started on my wide bangs vid. I need to part my hair first After parting, my hair in the middle. I will divide my bangs into several sections: I'm gon na use this tip to separate them. First, comb, your bangs and pull them straight out and find the amount you want If you want to have big bangs, then start further away from the roots. But if you want small bangs, then start from the point that is close to your roots. Yeah so find the starting point and then ... use the tip to separate the bangs from the rest of the hair.. The hair you want for your bangs should come front of your ears. It'S like how I did when I cut long bangs Place the rest of your hair behind your ears. Do the same thing on the other side, I'm doing this to make this part look round. It'S hard for me to see, but I'm trying to make this part round The difference between see through bangs is that for see-through bangs. You first had to make a small triangle like this, but for wide bangs. You need to have a round triangle like this. You can control the amount you want by pulling them straight out and adding or reducing some of them. If you want full bangs, then make a bigger triangle, But I want wide not full bangs today, so I'm gon na reduce the amount. Okay now clearly separate the bangs from the rest of your hair. By finding the end of your hairline.. Now I will control the length. If this is your first time cutting bangs, then it might be hard to fix it. If you cut this part so cut the hair that is under your nose tip, I will first cut the middle hair. I'M gon na cut the front hair first Cuz you might want to reduce the size of your bangs after cutting the middle hair. So do the middle part! First Now I will cut my middle hair. Some more. You need to think about your bangs when volume's added, If you just cut it from here, then the length might be irregular, so you need to pull your bangs before cutting them. The reason why I'm point cutting is cuz. I want my bangs to look natural, not like completely straight, If your hair's puffy then dampen your hair before cutting it, But you need to be careful when dampening your hair cuz. When your hair gets dry, it will look shorter, so you need to cut less. If your hair's dampened, I will tell you how to deal with roots from 07'32''. If you don't want your roots to look puffy then dampen and push them before cutting After cutting the middle hair. You will see how big your bangs will be. If you want bigger bangs, then you can cut this hair as well. But if you want smaller bangs, then you can just place some of your hair behind your ears. I want a smaller bang, so I will put some back and then will see if I need to cut more, You need to decide if you want your bangs to look straight or round. If you want straight bangs, then pull them hard and then cut. But if you want round bangs, then hold them diagonally and cut adjusting the length. I will combine the middle hair with this part and cut Now. I will make sure both sides are of equal length. If the both sides are not the same length then make some small snips. I checked the mirror, but I thought they look way too long, so I will cut 1cm more. The reason why I like long bangs is that long bangs look better on me, But if you don't like long bangs cuz, they bother your eyes, then make them short. If your forehead happens to be small like mine, then short bangs might not look good on you. Yeah, so if you have small forehead, then it's better to have long and small bangs. If your forehead is broad, then it might be nice to have full bangs, oh and you need to check the length when you hold them down AND when you hold them up. If you don't check the length of your hair when it's up, then you might keep on cutting and end up having short bangs so hold them up and check if they are long or short. Also, if you have long bangs, then you can try many different hair styles. So if you want to pull your hair back sometimes, then it's better to have long bangs. Now I will talk about how to deal with roots. First dampen your roots, and I will use a comb and hair dryer to push them down If your bangs are facing this way, then blow dry. The other way, If your roots is facing right, then blow dry towards left. But if your roots are facing both ways, then you need to blow dry both ways and you also got ta, pull them straight down and blow dry once again like this.. This time, I'm pushing them straight down The other side as well. In this way, your roots will be untangled completely. Now I will add some volume with a roll brush and a hair dryer Place a roll brush close to your roots. If your forehead is small, like mine, you need to add volume to your roots, Fix your roots like this and add some volume and the curl the end yeah. So I just blow dried my bangs, and this is the end of the vid (. The clap is always so awk ..., ), Suzy's bangs were just like these. The bangs looked long and gracious yeah and I think my bangs also look like hers, so I really like them. It'S easy to slick back too. I will summarize the main points of today's vid. Unlike see-through bangs, you need to make a round triangle and if you want bigger, bangs, then add some more hair. Also, you need to cut little by little until you find the perfect length you want, You need to check the length of your bangs when you hold them down and up.
