Welcome back to my channel, this is Karissa. Today, I'm showing you my take on an easy, side-swept, bang. First, I make a middle part. I take a curved parting aiming for high recession. I repeat it on the other side, then I cleaned up the section making sure I wasn't taking any hair past the high recession. Then I clipped the hair back to keep clean sections ready to cut. I split my section in half to make cutting easier and clip it out of the way I clean up any unevenness. First, I cut about an inch below where I want to go, giving myself a little bit more control for my final cut. Now I can use the hair that I cut as a guide. I parked the hair at my clients, natural parting and then cut at the same angle and same elevation, making sure not to pull the hair too taut. Holding the section too taut can make it spring up, I'm checking that both sides of the hair or hitting exactly where I want them to hit I'm taking the top section down to cut now. It'S time to angle this side, I want my shortest piece to be right around her mouth now, I'm coming to the same elevation I was at before and following the line that I previously cut, aiming for the shortest piece to be around her mouth. Like the other side and voila, she has beautiful side-swept banks, I'm drying her bangs using a small paddle brush. I'M brushing her bangs back and forth towards her face to make sure the bangs are nice and swoopy. Now, I'm just picking up the hair to speed up the blow-dry and to add a little volume. If she was looking for less volume in her bang, I would go in and point cut texturizing her bangs, creating softness. She can wear her bangs at her natural part or she can sweep them over to create a sexier look now, I'm using da Vanessa. This is an extra strong hairspray thanks for watching.
