How To Fake Curtain Bangs || No Cutting!

Hi everyone its Bianca, so I want to get right into today's video. If you don't know what curtain things are you will by the end of this video so curtain, banks are usually about cheekbone lengths and it's usually either close to a center part where a center part where the hair kind of comes forward and then over giving the Effect of like curtains, hence the name - you know what I mean. So, if you're like me - and you don't want to cut your hair - that short, keep watching cuz, I'm going to show you guys how to get the curtain, bang effect with longer face framing pieces. Now, if you don't have face framing pieces, which are the shorter pieces, that kind of come in the front and frame your face, if everything that you have is one length and it's longer, it's probably not going to work for you just because the weight it's not Going to give that effect, and it's not going to sweep in the front the way that we want it to so you do need to have pieces that are at least chin length. I would say to make this work now. I'Ve curled my whole head, except for these two front pieces. If you do a center part, you're gon na have two equal size pieces or you should mine, it's a little off-center, so this sides heavier because I part a little further on this side and now I'm going to take my iron. This is a one and a quarter inch iron from GHD. So normally my hair parts here and the hair is kind of wants to fall to the sides for current bangs. We want the hair to fall forward, so I'm going to grab all the hair together and I'm just going to use the barrel against the first inch or two of my roots and make sure you do not touch your scalp. Obviously, it's very hot - and this is just using heat - to train the hair to fall forward and set it to the sides. You can also blow dry your hair forward with a round brush and it will do almost the same thing. I find that using the curling iron works better. Now, I'm gon na take my verb, texture spray and I'm gon na spray. This now, I'm gon na part the hair, where it normally wants to part I'm going to keep the hair directed forward, though I don't want it to fall to the sides, because then it's just going to retrain to fall. That way, we've already trained it to kind of come forward, so we want to keep it that way, I'm going to keep it straight forward, going to grab the hair, hold it for a couple seconds, drag it down. You like it down a little further and I'm going to leave about an inch at the ends and just pull it straight down we're gon na. Let this sit. We do the same thing to the other side. Alright, I want to do this side one more time. Just because it's a little bit heavier, I'm gon na hold it here for a couple more seconds all right and we're not going to touch it. We want it to set in this position, so I'm going to give it a few minutes just to cool and then we'll do the next step all right. So now, I'm just going to gently run my fingers through now right here. I just want to flatten this spot out a little bit and the same thing with this spot, all right, so I'm gon na be using the it's a 10 strong hold hairspray and I'm just going to get everything where I want it and then spray it in Place, if you wanted to add accessories, you could always add. Like a headband, I think it looks pretty cute with a headband and that's it guys. This is how you get the illusion of curtain bangs without actually having to cut your hair.
