Cutting My Own Curtain Bangs.

Hi everyone welcome back to my channel. This is alex, i'm alex and no i'm not the alex adams that everybody keeps commenting on my youtube channel. Do you know the amount of times i've gotten comments are like? Oh you're, not alex adams. I was searching for okay. You'Re on the wrong platform sweetheart, so, basically, today you guys know: what's going on, i'm gon na be cutting my hair again, i have cut my hair twice before on youtube. First time was so bad. I hated that i did that to myself. I regretted it. For months the second time i did it was actually at the beginning of this quarantine. My hair looks kind of crazy now because i don't have nice natural hair to begin with, but i fell asleep yesterday. I think my hair is still wet. So that's why it looks like this. The last haircut that i did this is my hair grown out from it. My hair is so ugly right now so, like honestly, this is not a good representation of it because it looks crazy, but that is how my hair looks right now i want to cut curtain bangs in my hair. Personally, i feel like it'll look good on me. First step is, i want to get my middle part perfect, that's kind of an important part of this come on now, so i still have my professional hair cutting scissors that i used last time. I did chop a slice into my finger last time. I did this. So, let's pray that i don't do that again, i'm not gon na lie. I think this is gon na be kind of easy, because i've cut my whole entire head of hair. So doing a couple. Bangs shouldn't be too hard. I'M gon na open my door up because last time i cut my hair in the bathroom. It'S almost hyperventilated because for some reason there's like no air circulation in here and i it's hard to breathe. You know so this is the before just so. You guys know because it's not going to be too dramatic, you know i already have so many layers in my hair, as you can tell self-made, did it myself, but these layers just seem to be a little too long. Now they don't give me anything. There'S no face framing literally. I look like lord farquaad, because i don't have anything like you know what i mean. So i'm going to start by sectioning the right areas, then i'll just straighten the front bit. So it's easier to cut because, like if my hair is all curly and like wavy, and it's going to be pretty hard to know if it's all the same length. So here i hit my ear, bring that back so who's been playing the game among us recently, because i have, i think i might be obsessed with it. It'S so much fun. I love being the imposter and murdering everyone. So if you guys want to like make a group chat on instagram, i don't know, let's all play among us together. I really really don't know if i need this much hair, so this is where we're going to start from here. I think i was just supposed to take like a section from here. Oh wait! No i'm supposed to take this section at the beginning. This is going to be the shortest and then everything else is kind of going to kind of like follow along in like a v, okay, i know what i'm doing. I know what i'm doing kevin is straight in these parts of my hair. Now, okay, now that i've kind of know how much hair i'm using i'm just going to tie this back. Oh don't tell me, you're cutting your hair again! No, no! I'M doing curtain bangs okay. So this is the section that i'm gon na work with and then everything else shall follow it. This is pretty good. This is a really distinct triangle. I think that's good. The shortest layer is gon na, be at my chin, so let's go for it yeah the worst part about cutting your hair. Yourself is cleaning up the hair afterwards, and that is the truth. So i'm just going for this point cut method, which is to me the safest way. Okay, that's pretty much at my chin, though i could go a little shorter. I could maybe i will oh that looks like a weird shoe, so i'm going to start with a smaller section, we're going to start with this and then i'm going to go lock. This pretty sure, that's what i have to do so yeah. I have like way too much confidence when i cut my hair. Oh my god, i just cut my finger again. Oh my gosh, you know i hate when i cut my finger literally it's like a chunk of my skin wear back. I have to put a band-aid on it. Ew, okay, i got my band-aid. I look like a psychopath right now, so there's my little dollop of blood on my finger. I literally did this like the exact same thing last time i literally just talked to you guys about it and said i hope i don't cut my finger again and then i did okay, this side. Oh i'm all flustered. Now that looks good like this. That looks good right. Oh that looks a little too long. I feel like what you're doing today. Um hang out with our ash, but i don't know what he's getting here so in the meantime, i decided to cut my hair. This is what happens when your therapist missed an appointment. You know what that doesn't look right. This is way too long. It shouldn't be that long. What i mean like the curtain bank should go like like it should be like this. I feel like right see the thing is it might just look like? No, no, it just doesn't look right, um. I was going to say it might just look like this because it has yet to be styled. I think i just need to make it a bit shorter, okay, see better, better uh, better, okay, everybody take a good look. It feels like i'm doing something wrong. I just can't quite figure out why and what it is that i'm doing incorrectly, let's look at it and like all together and see how we can make this look more fluid, oh god, what the hell's this one too! Okay, i think i'm gon na leave that side as is and see if i can mimic that on the other side, i don't oh yeah. No, this has to be way shorter. Okay, let's compare and contrast these are not even these are not even either, and these are definitely not even oh wait, that's even weird, but these are not so, let's start with trying to get this at the same length. Okay, take a step back, evaluate our work. This side still seems way choppier than the other. Okay, it's better. I think the best way to make this look like all a bit more natural, i'm gon na take these scissors, like i use them last time i cut my hair too, and i'm just gon na. Do a bit of texturizing over it like a bit, because this is not a lot of hair. I think that's fine, like i honestly, don't know what else i could do to make it look better. I don't know if i'm doing something wrong, though, like it just really genuinely feels like it they're definitely longer curtain bangs, but that's exactly what i was going for shortest layer here at the chin, everything else kind of falling out. It'S exactly what i envisioned in my mind. I think i'm just gon na go ahead and style the rest of my hair and see how it looks. I styled the majority of my hair, but i wasn't really sure how to tackle the actual bangs. I just cut because i tried like putting it in the roller and like putting it backwards. I think because i straightened it already - it's not really going to give it that much volume, so i think i'm going to take the hair straightener. Okay, i saw a tick tock of the girl explaining how she styled her curtain bangs. So she basically like took all the hair here and she took the roller pulled it back like halfway and then let it roll off. So i'm gon na try that. Hopefully it looks good, let's see, let's see, let's see if this is gon na work, no nothing happened, really bring it up and backwards. Maybe oh, she did something. She did something kind of not really um. This is what we got here, but i think it looks pretty good. I don't know. Am i just like thinking that i look better than i actually look. Probably this has been a long journey for me to not even know if i did this correctly. Okay, the camera's giving me like very ugly vibes, so i think i'm going to end the video before i start crying.
