Dry Cutting is the best cut Ive ever had for my curly hair & YESSSS my hair is even when stretched! its hard to explain but you kinda just have to experience the process in order to understand exactly how and why it turns out even without stretching the hair or wetting or straightening (which is healthier for you hair anyway) Hope you found this video helpful! =)
I dont trim my hair often since I am a "Heatless Curly Girl" I dont need an all over trim more than once or twice a year because my hair is pretty healthy no split ends & no heat damage... but I do trim my bangs to shape my face and add volume often because it grows out quickly. There isn't a precise time to trim hair, I just go by how it looks at the moment.

Hi welcome to my bathroom today we're going to snip snip snip, my bangs, because you guys have been wanting me to show you how I did it myself, because I've commented to a few people and let you guys know that I did trim my hair myself and All not my hair, just my front area right here, I'm too not confident just yet to trim my entire here myself, because I'm not at that level. Yet this is basically dry cutting and I've learned this from the diva, the diva Shawn salon and the girly girl handbook from Lauren Lauren, Mackey and yeah. I'Ve been doing it for a while, but never my whole head just the front of my hair. But this is the first time, but the past two months, I believe, is when I sip my hair a lot and gave myself little bangs. So it's really quite simple. If you guys have not read the book, I suggest you do read the book first or at least watch some of the divas Shawn salon, videos on how they do the dry cutting process on curly hair. So basically, this is awesome for curly hair in specific, because our hair is curly and you don't know exactly where the hair is going to fall when it's stretched out and straight and then when it dries up, it shrinks up. And you don't know exactly where it's going to be. You can't really predict that, because everyone's curly hair is salted for Anna shrinks lots of different levels. So this is the awesome. Awesome awesome method for those of you who have you here, curly the majority of the time. Like myself, I haven't strained my hearing years. Don'T know exactly how the magical dry cutting technique works when they do it in the salon, but somehow ends up all being even by them. Cutting curls like, for example. This is one loop. This is two loops. This is three loops, so I'm going to do my bangs, for you guys just trim my you guys. You guys can see how I do it and how simple it actually is. My bangs are originally this long. So a lot of you would think that you know my bangs would be so short but they're, really not it's actually pretty long. It just looks short because that's how my hair shrinks up just going to take a hair tie and tie the back, so I'm basically just kind of eyeing that it's pretty much over my eyes. I can barely see the camera right now, so I'm just going to snip a little bit, and this is how I'm going to do it. I'M not going to stretch anything out. I'M looking at this one right here and I'm going to start by removing one loop. 1 loop: that's what I'm calling it one loop, this Swan half the loop, because the ends were kind of funny, so it's not the same at all and that's what I'm going to these in the front these I like to. Have I like to do it in an angle, so these are pretty much right above my eyes, and then these will be a little longer because I always have my hair parted on this side. So so my hair falls this way. This one is pretty long. So I'm going to that much now. This is much much much better and I'm probably going to beat this one like that. I'M just going to snip the very ends of this one very tiny bit as you can see mad every single strand of hair needs to be cut, I'm just cutting what needs to be cut, not grabbing the whole thing and snipping through I'm only cutting what looks Like needs to be cut because it's blocking me from seeing anything so I'm going to cut just the very ends of this one, because this is going to stay long, perfect position right here. So I can see - and I'm happy with this so now - I'm going to let my hair down, so that is how I cut my bands. That is how I trimmed them. So simple, so easy, I'm not saying that you guys need to do this. You can definitely go to one of the salons that I do know how to dry cut hair. You can't go to like just a regular salon in anybody did expect them to know what dry cutting is. You have to go to a salon that does specialize in it just by looking at the girls during my hair. I was like you know what I can do this. I know how to do this on myself, so I did and it turns out great - and I said I don't do my whole head when we did the front of my hair, but it turns out pretty good on my own and I really liked it and I'm Gon na continue doing it so hope this was helpful to you guys and then I'll see you guys in the next video you

For the longest I have been think my hair doesn't catch volume at the top and suffered from severe 'triangle hair' lol. Nicole Clark: Great video! I've been trimming my own hair for nearly 7 years, and I've used two methods together to trim my entire head. First, I put my hair into twists and I lightly "dust the ends" by trimming the smallest amount needed (or more depending on how my ends are looking). If I don't do this method, I will do what's called the "seek and destroy", where I only trim off severely spilt ends and knots. Trimming your hair in twists helps to make sure you're not trimming more than you want.

Ive just developed a mind of my own (out of the dominican mentality) and ive learned to do what I feel comfortable with instead of doing what others expect me to do cuz they think its more "Propper" lol with that ive now changed my moms values and mentality towards what she thinks looks good. she stoped using the term "Good hair and Bad Hair" finally and now accepts that straight hair isnt better. its just a choice.

Mrs. Alba Ramos: It depends on how comfortable you are with leaving your hair out loose like i am in this video. for example when i had very visable heat damage i wasnt comfortable styling it loose like this so i stuck with half updos or complete updos and buns etc... for a while until my hair grew out a bit and i was able to trim some of the damage off. If u dont have severe damage then go ahead and do it :) have fun

Mrs. Alba Ramos: the first time i didnt cut this much so i didnt have to section off i just split my hair to the side like i normally style it and only trimmed the hairs that were towards my face. after a while i trimmed more to look like real bangs but without sectioning off with a comb i just eyed it with my fingers. whatever felt right.

Mrs. Alba Ramos: theres also a reason why curly hair salons specialized in dry cutting rather than wet cutting. trimming your hair in general removes split ends. its not the fact that the hair is wet when cut that removes split ends. Ive done both methods in the past and Ive experienced dry cutting is the best for my hair. I have not had 1 split end since 2011 when i use to straighten and cut my hair wet. theres no right or wrong, wet or dry its all about the hair type and what works for you. Im living proof.
