I feel like a razor, gives you more of a natural cut, as opposed to shears gives you that blunt line you can always cut into it, but it's easier on the hands for the stylist just to use the razor. It gives you a very natural flow of things. You also want to make sure the hair is coming forward, so you can make sure you know exactly where to cut less is more so always cut a little less as opposed to more because once it's gone, it's gone, make sure that clients, hair is coming forward And you discuss with them exactly what they want and what they want to hide, so you can get them look that they want to achieve.
