Hey everyone welcome back to my channel. My name is destiny. For today's video. I want to give you guys a really quick tip that I learned for how to switch up your hairstyle and create faux bangs. Now, if you've been watching my channel for a while, you know that last year I had a rutted with a pair of scissors and I completely messed up my hair trying to create bangs. Ever since then, I've been really wary of cutting my hair to change my style. I just want to get as much lift as possible, so I wanted to figure out a way to add the bang look change it up without actually cutting my hair, and this is what I came up with for this style. You'Re gon na need a couple of things one you want an oversized hair tie if you can see this on the screen. Normally, your tie is like around that size. This one is oversized cuz, you want it to fit over your head. So one of those and then some bobby pins, you don't need both of these. You can use one or the other or both. So if you just have one, it's perfectly fine, so I'm going to start off with the easiest way which is using this oversized here and you literally just pull it over your head, and this is why you want to go out and buy an oversized. Headband. Don'T use a stretched out regular one, it's not going to fit over your head, alright! So once this is over, pull all your hair to the front like this alright and then pull the band's up so that it's on the crown of your head. So if you can see the hairband right now, it is literally just at the front of my head. So all there is fall to the front and I'm just gon na keep pushing this hairband back. Just like a headband back back back to around the middle of my head and you want to push up the back as well. Alright, all this does is kind of shorten the hair because it's being cold, so it just kind of pushes it up. So once all of your hair is pulled up, you want to arrange your bangs. So already you can see this hair that I pulled to the front. It'S creating kind of a bang style. What you want to do is arrange it. So it's not completely covering your eyes like it is now you want our arrange it. So it looks like natural bangs. You can pull the hair here. So it's completely in your face and just push the hair band up higher to shorten it. You can also just move the hair to one side, even though my hair was parted in the middle. Now that it's being held by the rubber band, you can pull the hair and create a new part by just pulling some of it to one side, and that way you can create kind of a siphoning a way to make this more convincing. If your hair is still too long and it's kind of covering your eyes, this is where the bobby pins come in. You don't want to take your bobby pins and then just continue to push the hair higher and higher on your head to shorten it so that your bangs are shorter than the rest of your hair. So, even that that one piece that was covering my eye now, it's up here and you can see better all right. So that's just one way to do this, all right. If you don't have the oversize hair band - and you just have two bobby pins, you can still do this style. The only difference is your hair at the bottom. Here is going to be longer than your bangs. So to do this you're gon na start. The same way just pull your hair to the front and then using your hand, go ahead and start to pull your hair back like this. Take your bobby, pin and just pin it right, where your hand is at the top of your head, and I always like to do two in an X fashion, because that secures them together. So it really secures the hair in place and it's not going to slide out later so. Every time I put one bobby pin down, I put another crossing over it. So already, as you can see, the hair here is not shorter than it was before, where it was covering my face, but you still have to arrange it so that it doesn't look like a random blob at the top of your head. You wanted to look more natural if you want the full fringe in the front. You'Re gon na need to keep clipping it so that your hair reaches the right length. If you want the side part, then you're gon na have to move some of this to the side and bobby pin it to where you want it to go now for me, because my hair is so long right now. The side part is the easiest, because it still covers one of the eyes, but you can just keep moving it to the side and it creates that foe bang without too much work to get the full fringe in the front. You have to do a lot of arranging, so I'm gon na go ahead and do that right now, alright, and that's how it looks when it's done be conscious of where you're wearing this and you're gon na be wearing this outside, it's gon na be windy. You want to know how this is gon na. Look if the wind blows, so the wind blows with this you're gon na see a whole bunch of bobby pins, so just the bobby pins on its own. I would say this is great for either an endorsement or taking pictures if you're wearing the headband. Look it's much more versatile in terms of where you can wear it, because it's the wind blows your hair. When it's out of place, it's not gon na look crazy. It'S just gon na look like you're wearing a headband, your hair is pulled back and you can literally just bought your head like that, and your hair pretty much falls right back into place. So it's super easy. You don't really have to worry about your hair and it's better for wearing out. If you guys can't tell I prefer this one much more, but it just depends on what type of look you're going for. So that is my super easy, like 20. Second way to create faux bangs without cutting your hair, please let me know if this was helpful for you guys and what other ways you like to change it through style without being super drastic. Thank you for watching and I'll see you next Thursday.
