Hi, I'm Dee black, I'm your personal hair stylist here today at nappy, bliss natural hair salon today I'll be showing you diagonal. Bang styles for long hair. First, we're gon na start off with my model Ashley she has freshly washed hair she's gon na. Do a diagonal part, so the first part is gon na, be like at the high arch of her eyebrow and it's gon na go around and I'm gon na part it over to the other high arch of her eyebrow. She has pretty long hair with this long. You can't even consider it a bang at this point because you couldn't wear it like that, but it's pretty much an even spot. So you go from arch to arch and it's pretty much our horseshoe shape right at the top of her head. One of the mistakes that many people do is you want to make sure that you just don't do a blunt cut right across you want to take it a piece at a time, so she has fairly thin hair. So I'm just gon na split it in half someone that has thicker hair. You can split it maybe three times so, I'm just gon na part it in half clip away what I'm not about to cut and what I am gon na cut. I'M gon na pull down. You always want to go a little bit longer than what you think you want just because when you bump it with the flat iron or anything like that, it will it'll go back up, so being that it's gon na be diagonal. I'M gon na hold my hands a little diagonally and I'm gon na take my shears, like I said, a little bit longer and just slide it down and slide and cut as I go, and then you comb it down to see where it falls and as you See it's still pretty long, so I'm gon na go down one more time just so it can be a little bit shorter, but not too short because she wants that more diagonal swoop. Bang look! So now you have your baseline and then you unclip the hair that you clipped away and you add that to it and because it's your baseline, you can make it easier to see and just clip up in that same way as you slid down, and I just Followed that angle, all the way down and cutting upward gives it less of a blunt cut and more of a natural look. So it just flows, and this is still a little long. So I'll do it one more time just to make sure and I'll continue to slide down the slide cut, because you already have your base. You already know the slot is gon na be perfect and that's how you do a diagonal cut for someone with long hair. I'M Dee Dee black, see you next time.
