Hi i'm radon from boys and girls hairstyles. Today i have leslie with me. Um i've done her haircut one other time and everybody loved her. I thought it would be fun um to show it again and uh we've just been friends forever. I'Ve been doing her hair for a long long time something exciting about leslie. Is she has a new grandbaby today that was super fun, so new grand baby boy today, um, which is awesome - lots of fun? Yes, lots of fun, okay, hers, uh! We like to stack it in the back. We bring this back up a little bit, so leslie gets her hair colored and cut every five weeks so um, i'm just cutting off about you, know five weeks of growth for leslie, probably like you know same with your stylist they're gon na know kind of how Much your hair grows out um and that's how much you would want to take off. Obviously, when they come back for a trim now on the sides, um make sure they're not like have their head totally down, because when you come back up, it will be shorter. So, okay, now i'm gon na take above the ears and with leslie. Her brown color is a four double n. It'S goldwell top chic and then we just put some light through the top. So when it grows out, it's it just blends better. Now this you can see, i'm just you can see i'm kind of stacking it. It'S not a really steep steep stack but um. It definitely is stacked to take some of the bulk out back here, plus we'd like to have the top be full, and so, if you take some of that back away, then it can emphasize more up here. The look to have it look fuller, so you can see i'm kind of coming on an angle, so i'm not coming straight back and i'm not coming straight out this way for right now kind of in between there, okay and then i take another little section. This way - and you can just follow the guide point, which means the hair that you've cut the section before see again on this side, i'm not coming straight out and i'm not coming straight back kind of coming out here on this side. Okay, then i take another little section here and i connect you can see where i've stopped cutting here that length right here and i'm going to take this length off. So i'm taking another section, okay, again, just kind of on the side, not all the way back and not all the way from the ear straight out, just kind of in between okay, so same with this area. Just follow that guideline come out on the angle. Okay, all right now, this last little section i'm going to see if i hold it like that, you can see where i cut last. She likes a little bit shorter on top, not extremely short, but a little bit shorter on the top, so she can get the volume. So if you like volume, it's nice to have a little bit shorter on the top, so you don't have the weight of your hair, obviously weighing it down. Okay! So there's the top of that now same here, i'm gon na go from that bottom piece that i just come around with those layers and you'll be able to see when it catches up to the top. It just blends right in to that top layer that you've cut okay, so we now we're going to go up top we're going to come straight across same thing. She likes volume on top. So that's why i'm coming straight across just because we're not having it all super long here we're having a little bit of length, but not not a ton, and so that's why we go straight across on the top okay. So from here you can see back here where that length ends okay. So what you're going to do is trim these sides and come up this way and meet up with that layer. So there's that layer. So you just take that length. You good les, i'm good! Okay, good deal you're doing all the work, that's so sweet! Well, you know what you've been working all day. So just take a little nap, it's fine! Okay, then we're gon na do the front and the sides in just a second okay. So same thing here, we're gon na hold this out, go from that layer go around this way and we're almost up to the top for that layer, see that layer. So you just connect that tada now we'll do this front, it's so funny. Every time les comes back, we're like double checking her sides a zillion times, because she has a side that is just you know the side. Have you heard that when i talked about that everybody has a slide? Leslie has her side too, and we just always have to make sure each time a lot that uh that it's, even because our one side always seems just a little bit shorter. You can see i'm point cutting into the bang, i'm not cutting it straight across. I mean we're cutting it across, but not straight straight across okay and then just barely barely barely open and shut open and shut those shears to come down the sides. Okay and sing with these beans just cut into that. Okay and then your sides on this side. I'M just going to come up from the bottom and you can see just barely trim that because we like them, you know to kind of stay where that, but just be trimmed a tiny bit all right. That'S perfect! We'Re almost getting there. Okay, texture love texture, especially if you like um volume, so you don't want to go right in in the part. Okay, you want to come back and where that bends, you can do a little bit there. You can see i kind of go one two like i do two through the strand and some people like to really texture the ends. I don't love love that it has to be a certain haircut um to do that. I feel like. Sometimes it makes it too, too wispy and looks a little bit um too fine. I, like it kind of more in here, so the longer hairs can sit on the short hairs and give a bug. So that's why i like it there. If you have really thick hair - and you want a pc um haircut, then that's when i would go like through your ends more and make it really piecey. Okay, sweet all right! Last now, styling all right! We are going to do the root lifter squirt of the mousse. This will all give it body, okay and the volume and lift spray. Okay, then i always like to go against the way that you um, not volume, so just dry it. This way always move your. Your blow fire in your hand, it's really important the way dry to get volume, so so the more movement the better. Unless you have really hard, then obviously that's not going to be the best um. But yes for more fine hair. You want volume, the more you move, your hair around the better okay. Now the round brush down a tiny bit, sorry to get that hair on your face. Okay, so we are almost ready to round brush. I just want to make sure it's dry enough, because you don't want a round brush on super wet hair. You want it to be quite a bit dry about 80 percent. Okay. So i'm going to start in the mid of her current head up here in the crown well not to the pan yet, but just under that, and if you want to take up little sections. You know like this flip them up out of your way. That can be easier sometimes for people. The reason we're using a round brush is to get more volume. Okay and then i play round brush. Let it sit for a second, let it cool and then let go. I hope all of you guys are having a good day. I'Ve had a fun day, i just love being with my clients, that's for sure, just kind of pushing that out of the way, then, when you get more to the top, you kind of come straight up. I'M just going to put her down a little bit, so you can see i'm just kind of kind of straight out straight up straight up: wesley's, not joking now but she's, a jokester. Aren'T you the patient? Being shy tired? She is so funny she's, tired! It'S tired! I know i hear ya long day right. She goes to work at 4, am so she's a sweetheart to let me videotape her, and then you guys should straight up on the top. Now you just take the flat iron and bring these sides straight down. Okay, this side. Okay, let's see oh, my hairspring is right here: okay, i'm gon na use my backcomb i hold tight here then i come in down and out kind of like a c shape. Then i just spray under the back combing yeah, these these combs used to be called the wah-lah comb. Now they're called a pin comb um and it's hard to find these exact ones. But i do have a link if you guys need a good backcomb. I can give you that link for sure makes a difference. What comb you used all right. Sometimes i tease leslie that she's like gon na, go home and eat her dinner and then she's ready for bed because she has work and then she has cute hair and she's going to bed on cute hair. So when she has places to go, i'm always like. Okay, radonna doesn't want to get up at 3am and do my hair every day. That'S right and you know what i'd probably win for you less awesome. Wouldn'T that be awesome, that'd be so fun having somebody styling your hair, great, greedy. Okay, let's make sure these are pieced out enough, so these things um aren't quite pieced out enough. You can see they're a little thick here, so i'm just coming in. I want to make little short pieces kind of up in the bang, so they're different. Sorry, i'm trying to get that off your nose, yeah see so that's more pc, it's not as like full kind of chunked out. So all right. Okay, now we're going to turn leslie around. So you can take a look. What'S that love it? Oh good love it! Okay, good good answer, i'm glad i love it. Okay, awesome! Okay! Thank you! So much leslie. Thanks for all your support, i love that you guys jump on um have a phenomenal week and i i will turn her around one more time. Just so, you can see the stack in the back, so cute, okay have a good day thanks. You guys bye-bye
