Hey guys, I'm Nicole - and this is beauty unfiltered - shall we begin okay. So I'm going to show you how I am dealing with my hair right now, so I did cut it shorter. I'Ve mentioned this in some of my videos. It is a little bit hard to deal with because my hair is so thick. I'M not complaining now how thick it is. I just didn't realize how thick it was until I really started going short because of the gray, so my hairdresser, the last my stylist, the last video of the last time I got it cut. I had said to him: I can't slick it back because the it was so angled that the front was longer than the back, so you can see how dark it still is in the back. I would say that this is all of my own color, probably except for just some a little bit of this in the back, so I don't know what's going on with this, it looks very salt-and-pepper um, it's very grey in the front, as you can see, it's Getting more and more salt and pepper as B as I keep going, but you can see the same haircut just shorter, so it's just very chic and French and Parisian and whatever so. Ah I have to work with it. So I'm going to show you how to slick it back if you have thick hair - and it's short like this - this is actually for my husband's little recipe because we were in New York for a wedding in thing over Thanksgiving and I was such a mess. It was longer I couldn't put it back. I was so frustrated with it, so he was like okay get into get into the bathroom. I'M gon na show you how to do this, so this is his little inspiration for me. It really works for my hair. I'M actually using his product, not even mind cuz, nothing will hold my hair. I'Ve tried so many products. This is lay right. It'S super hold the nice thing about this is that it folds like it wax, but it washes out like a gel. Thank goodness, it just comes right out because once it goes in its really really kind of stiff - and it really holds my hair back, but it doesn't dry it out and I use a lot of dips as you can. I stole it from him. I just ordered two more on Amazon we're almost done, and this morning I was like I'm taking your hair job to do the video he's like what I said I'll just put a little bit on tinfoil for you. So he's he's not happy to been stealing it, but I bought him some new stuff and myself, obviously a huge supply. So you need water you're going to need your lay right. I have my hair spray. This is Kendra and it is volume spray super hold, and then I have my trusty blow-dryer. So I'm going to show you how to do this and it's very simple, not hard. Don'T ask me, I just wasn't using the right product, so I wanted to give that information to you in case. You are dealing with unruly hair and it's crazy and you just want a nice slicked back, look for evening daytime whatever it works for anything. So you want to see how I get this hair look keep on watching. This is not Azrael repeat, this is not a drill, and there you have your hair slicked back when you're dealing with thicker hair, and this will dry a little bit, but once it dries, it's going to stay this kind of stay in this nice kind of slicked. Back way, because it's not going to get puffy like it normally would, if I didn't do those steps of like wetting, it then putting this pomade in it. You know what I thought about this a couple different times. I'Ve done this. I actually should have put the pomade first in my hair, the jello my hair first and then wet it, because it kind of counteracts itself, but with my hair it doesn't matter, I could do 17 different layers of it and my hair is still like. Okay, I need more so I love this look. It'S just very sophisticated, it's easy for me! I just like to do it back and sometimes when it's just really fluffy and texturized and has nothing in it I'll just take the gel and just kind of give it some extra kind of texture, but keeps it back, but not this slick. But I really do love to just throw on a black dress slick, my hair back and then it's out the door. So I hope that you like this video subscribe. If you want to see more hair tutorials for short hair like this video, so it lets me know that you want to see more short gray, crappie, hairstyles and I'll see you on my next video

Jeanne Mecionis: I just love your hair! You are my inspiration right now. November 26 I stopped coloring my hair because I too am over trying to keep up with coloring my hair because I had so much grey. I'm 46 and have been struggling letting my grey show. I finally decided this is it! I'm done..... I'm the most comfortable with myself I have ever been & I CAN DO THIS! I have a lot of white in the front mixed with some pepper & darker grey in the back. The growing out process is the most challenging. I did cut it into a high/low bob. But it's still not growing fast enough for me. Oh well, I guess this is part of the transition. Thank you for your videos!

G M: Beautiful! I think you would look phenomenal with very short hair.

Deanne Smothers: Wow, your very beautiful. I love your slicked back hair look it really brings out your cheekbones. I also really love the way you do your make up. ginasutube: I LOVE this tip. You're the ONLY grey haired youtuber with ALOT of hair like i have so it's wonderful to finally find someone with worthy hair tips. I'm entering month # 4 with my growout. At what month would you recommend cutting the hair? I'm dying to cut it shorter bc of the strong demarcation line but maybe i should wait until it's grown out longer by perhaps 8 mos or so? Tough doing this... Ohhh the patience one must muster. Regardless I'm DONE coloring.

Pink Beauty: Hi Nikol! I must say, you are gorgeous! And you have beautiful hair! I am hoping for some of advice on my current situation. Inge Spindola: I am 88 years old and my hair is thin and silver grey in front and darker grey in the back. What can I do to make it look fuller without a perm

Esmé: Darling! Please show a volume tutorial
